Dooms Day

Many a times
I passed through trouble
Many a times
I passed through pain
I was exploited
I was was humiliated
I was condemned
I was consumed by mystery
My wings were taken
So i couldn't fly
All i eat all day was my cry
I asked myself why
And there came a voice saying
In your affliction
Will you learn right
In your oppression
Will you rise how to fight
The sun shines at day
And stars at night
Arise and see the light
After six comes seven
I passed through hell
Before i could see heaven
I did not know that my worries
Will lead me to my haven
Many times
I passed through trouble
Many a times
I passed through pain

Just Passing Time

Passing time,
Time passes.
And longing for times past.
With no pastime,
I think of past times.
Times of joy.
Sorrowful times.
Layered.
Like an alluvial plain,
I am inundated, flooded.
As the past floods in
Passing by the inner eye
I time travel.
Bad thoughts by passed
Passed all thought
They pass away.
Pass into the past
To lie again quiescent
A timely demise
For times past.

Henry David Thoreau

We are sometimes made aware of a kindness long passed, and realize that there have been times when our friends' thoughts of us were of so pure and lofty a character that they passed over us like the winds of heaven unnoticed when they treated us not as what we were, but as what we aspired to be. -- from A Week on the Concord and Merrimack Rivers

All Shes Got

This place reminds me of,
A time thats way too old.
These thoughts have gathered up the memories unfold.
But for now I dont see whats so wrong with pretending
Its true I thought you knew.
Believe her, its all shes got to pass the time
Believe her, its over now shes passed her prime.
Believe her, its all shes got to keep things right
Believe her its all shes got its all shes got.
Its all shes got, its all shes got.
These days keep getting worse Im wasting all my time.
I thought Id come in first, instead I fell behind.
I dont know, I dont know if I can keep this up to long.
It seems most every time my motives are all wrong
But for now I dont see whats so wrong with pretending
Its true I thought you knew.
Believe her, its all shes got to pass the time
Believe her, its over now shes passed her prime.
Believe her, its all shes got to keep things right
Believe her its all shes got its all shes got.
Its times like this, but times run out
Its times like this, but times run out
Its times like this, but times run out
Its times like this, I want to,
Believe her, its all shes got to pass the time
Believe her, its over now shes passed her prime.
Believe her, its all shes got to keep things right
Believe her its all shes got its all shes got.

Over Dose

As i got into the van i smelled weed
sweet weed the one thing i craved
as my best friend looked at me
she took 3 hits and passed it to me
i took a look at it and as i took a hit
i began to smile
the wanting for it was gone
with every hit i could feel my troubles leaving
we passed it around till it was done
then we went to the store and bought a 40
as me and my friend passed it back and forth
the horrible taste sat in my mouth
once again i craved weed
she rolled another and passed it back
i took more hits ever time
i got a little sick but kept going
i drank more too
the next day was the same
we smoked 5 joints
drank a whole bottle of whine
and drank some beer
the next day was the same
except the second night i did it
no matter how much i tried
i couldnt cry
even though the feeling was there
as my friend watched me get sick
from the over dose
i closed my eyes
i remember crying make it stop
and her light voice saying its ok
you will be fine i promise
when i look back on those nights
i wish it would have killed me some times
but that was last weekend so the past
is the past and theres always other days.

Strong Points

To perceive astounds my life of love,
Stars happen on the event of my eye.
Strong travel has passed, and torture
Is passed, and future is passed,
The past will be passed,
As time, the fifty-ninth dimension,
Shall fully tug at the strong mind,
Alien after alien entered for me.
The perception is strong, stronger for the
Points taken, a nature of strength
Is any when.

Wherever You Are

These times have passed and gone
Its time that we moved on
Into a new tomorrow
And leave behind the hurt
The sorrow and the pain
cos tonight will never
Pass this way again
Wherever you are
Wherever you go
Wherever you stand
Let your shadow show
Whatever you think
Whatever you do
Whatever you want
Let your feelings show
These times have passed and gone
Its time that we moved on
Into a new tomorrow
And leave behind the hurt
The sorrow and the pain
cos tonight will never
Pass this way again
cos tonight will never
Pass this way again
Just like the winter sun
That hides behind the dawn
Just like the shifting sands
That ride upon the storm
Tonight will never
Pass this way again
cos tonight will never
Pass this way again
cos tonight will never
Pass this way again
cos tonight will never
Pass this way again

How Long

2+2,
Me and you,
Strollin' down the avenue,
I never knew that this was meant to be.....
And all those times we looked into each other's eyes,
I did it again, I did it again, I did it for you!
Holding on,
To a song,
I guess it's time we passed it on.....
Because one of us keeps changing everyday...
And all those times we told each other little lies....
I did it again, i did it again, I did it for you!
How long before we learn to live and fly away?
How long before we learn to live another day?
Woah-oah....
And all those times we broke our hearts despite ourselves......
I did it again, I did it again, I did it for you!
How long before we learn to live and fly away?
How long before we learn to live another day?
Woah-oah......

Hard Times

(by ray charles)
My mother told me
fore she passed away
Said son when Im gone
Dont forget to pray
cause therell be hard times
Lord those hard times
Who knows better than i?
Well I soon found out
Just what she meant
When I had to pawn my clothes
Just to pay the rent
Talkin bout hard times
Lord those hard times
Who knows better than i?
I had a woman
Who was always around
But when I lost my money
She put me down
Talkin bout hard times
Hard times
Yeah, yeah, who knows better than i?
Lord, one of these days
Therell be no more sorrow
When I pass away
And no more hard times
No more hard times
Yeah, yeah, who knows better than i?

The Storms Have Passed

the days are getting cloudy for me,
storm clouds over my head,
so dark, i can barely see,
the storms have passed by me.

the swetness of life, has passed me by,
of my life, the storms have went,
and i look forward to when i die,
the storms have passed me by.

of the Lord, i'll meet and see,
to be with Him, ever more,
and there, i'll never need to plea
the storms have passed by me.

A Hundred Times Over

A hundred times over words have flowed through my fingers to the keys
A hundred times over I have released the freedom that is in my mind,
A hundred times over I have become one with my inter most longing,
A hundred times over I have taken a journey to show you my own world.
A hundred times over I have written of pain and life, of sorrow and joy,
A hundred times over I have used my art to show you what's in my mind
A hundred times over again I will show you.
A hundred times over I have cried for those, whose names are untold,
A hundred times over I have showed you their pain.
A hundred times over I have become their connection to you,
A hundred times over I have showed you the beauty of our world,
A hundred times over I have taken you somewhere you may never see,
A hundred times over my words have screamed the horror of darkness,
A hundred times over I have sung to you the beauty of light,
A hundred times over I have taken your hand to lead you to a new place
A hundred time over I have written for those who have no words to write
A hundred times over I have tried to show truth in a world of lies,
A hundred times over I have have tried to show the world's beauty,
A hundred times over again I will lead down these paths,
A hundred times over and over again I will show you reality,
A hundred times over and over again I shall show you my world,
A hundred times over and over again until you have memorised truth,
A hundred times over again until you can repeat what I have told,
A hundred times over again shall I create an art of words, time, of life.
A hundred times over again I shall do this,
A hundred times over again.
A hundred times over.

In A Windowpane

I looked into a windowpane
Last evening in a city far away
I was feelin sad and blue
I wondered then if I should really stay
Wanting someone to be with me in the light of this uncertain time
Waiting by the window for the man inside
To please make up his mind
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
I walked along the roadway to a fountain
Where lovers come to meet
A hobo walked up to me, I could tell
He didnt have enough to eat
He said, good sir you look so kind
And though the years have stripped me to the bone
It seems I am the better man
For in this place Ive never walked alone
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Where will you be, my friendly, when your
Telephone aint givin out no calls
And when the seasons come to haunt you
Will you still find springtime in the fall
And when youre on your island
Will you wave at every ship that passes by
And will you feed a hungry man
I thank you, sir,
Now Ill just say goodbye
Dont you be one who passed through but never saw
Never knowing never feeling anything
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw
Will you live your whole life through never knowing what to do
Will you be one who passed through but never saw

Times Of Trouble

Times of trouble come and go.
Some who are troubled
don't even know.
They've had no times
when life was sweet
except for the times when they could eat
scraps of food
disgarded by those
who look at them
and turn up their nose.

Times of trouble come and go.
Some that weren't troubled now will know
the abject horror
of how it feels
to miss your lunch 'and miss your meals.
They'll gather together
and ask the Lord whether
this trouble will leave
so they can believe
again.

Bertolt Brecht

To Those Born After

I

To the cities I came in a time of disorder
That was ruled by hunger.
I sheltered with the people in a time of uproar
And then I joined in their rebellion.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.

I ate my dinners between the battles,
I lay down to sleep among the murderers,
I didn't care for much for love
And for nature's beauties I had little patience.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.

The city streets all led to foul swamps in my time,
My speech betrayed me to the butchers.
I could do only little
But without me those that ruled could not sleep so easily:
That's what I hoped.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.

Our forces were slight and small,
Our goal lay in the far distance
Clearly in our sights,
If for me myself beyond my reaching.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.

II

You who will come to the surface
From the flood that's overwhelmed us and drowned us all
Must think, when you speak of our weakness in times of darkness
That you've not had to face:

Days when we were used to changing countries
More often than shoes,
Through the war of the classes despairing
That there was only injustice and no outrage.

Even so we realised
Hatred of oppression still distorts the features,
Anger at injustice still makes voices raised and ugly.
Oh we, who wished to lay for the foundations for peace and friendliness,
Could never be friendly ourselves.

And in the future when no longer
Do human beings still treat themselves as animals,
Look back on us with indulgence.

I Was So Lucky

Its no secret Ive been waiting
But I didnt expect this
Nothing will remain
Nothing stays the same
After you came
Its no secret Ive been starving
I never felt anything for years
I sat up all night
Just to watch your smile
When youre sleeping
I was so lucky you came by
And turned a different corner
I couldve been somewhere else
You couldve passed by, couldve passed by
Come on and sail the sea with me
Come on, lets go around the world
Maybe find a flat
Or a canyon house
For the season
I was so lucky you came by
And turned a different corner
It couldve been someone else
You had in mind
I was so lucky you found me
My rags turned gold and silver
I couldve been somewhere else
You couldve passed by, couldve passed by
What would you make of this, my baby?
The sun through the trees
Is there a better place to be?
I was so lucky you came by
And turned a different corner
It could have been someone else
You had in mind, oh my
I was so lucky you picked me
My trash turned to silver
Yea, I could have been somewhere else
You couldve passed by, couldbe passed by

Who I Am

i know who i am
im dark and quiet
creative and myself
dont care what people say
i dont care what they think
my piercings, my make up and cloths
are expressions but just my outter shell
look passed all of that and you will see the real me
the girl who loves tattoo's, piercings
stormy weather and poetry
the dark hearted girl you see on the outside
is only part of me
you may think im trouble and cold
i admit im troubled and the reasaults are the scars
that i bare on my wrists and the reason for my invisablity
not scared to be hurt im used to the pain
scared of being left for dead in the cold
hung out to dry and forgotten there
i may look mean but its the wall i put up
the wall no one gets passed
its hard to trust
hard to let people in
my feelings, everything
can only be seen through my eyes
and in my heart and only people who see me
for me and know the actually me
see everything i am and everything i can see
one out of thousands of people can see the real me
and he means so much to me so hes the only one
that passed my walls without a fight
and got through
he the only one who truly knows the real me

The Battle Of The Blue & Grey

Now its gone ,gone , gone
Those years have passed away
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres truth in what I say
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres nothing more to say
But Id do anything if I could do it all again
Well, Im an old man now and Im born to win the race
People wont believe me but theres truth in what I say
Many hearts were broken and a lot of tears were shed
The sky was black and the battlefield was red
Now its gone , gone , gone
Those years have passed away
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres truth in what I say
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres nothing more to sa
But Id do anything if I could do it all again
Now ,stonewall jackson stepped right up and then he said to me
He said the battles gettin rough son, guess we better flee.
Theres grapeshot all around us and the field is black with lead.
You better start a-runnin boy before you lose your head .
Its gone , gone , gone
Those years have passed away
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres truth in what I say
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres nothing more to say
But Id do anything if I could do it all again
Well, the cannons roared around us and the field was black with lead
I picked a soldier dressed in blue and filled him full of lead
I picked out six more soldiers there a-sittin on a mound
I fixed my bayonet to my gun and really mowed them down
Now, its gone , gone , gone
Those years have passed away
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres truth in what I say
Its gone , gone , gone
Theres nothing more to say
But Id do anything if I could do it all again
But Id do anything if I could do it all again

Ali, You Are Here

It brought tears to me
I was unable to think free
How sad and tragic incident!
Hell for life and turning point

How come the plane crashes?
Nose dive and to the ground rushes
Bringing life to an end with death
Only providing chance to lay wreath

Oh, dear how to put words?
You have passed through pain and fallen backwards
It is his call and we have to abide
Otherwise how come he might have died!

I feel pain and anguish
It brought your life to end or point to finish
It passed off you mind as flash of light
In deed it might be a brave fight

Ali may not come back
You have to stage a comeback
Ali has put symbol behind
Give all the love and in her you find

She may speak through her eyes
Smile when find her papa flies
All that may invade her memory
Never make her to feel sorry

Wait for those moments to come back
So much is at risk and at stake
You got to bring on rail the carriage
You must feel courage and manage

No young mother may find it easy
Even though she may keep herself busy
All memories may invade at all the times
Leaving behind tale of grief sometimes

I wish almighty to give you courage
Ali may be revived in daughter’s age
She may bring back same scene again
Just to take away your tears and pain

Times Like These (One-Way Motorway)

I am a one way motorway
I'm the one that drives away
then follows you back home
I am a street light shining
I'm a wild light blinding bright
burning off alone

it's times like these you learn to live again
it's times like these you give and give again
it's times like these you learn to love again
it's times like these time and time again

I am a new day rising
I'm a brand new sky
to hang the stars upon tonight
I am a little divided
do I stay or run away
and leave it all behind?

it's times like these you learn to live again
it's times like these you give and give again
it's times like these you learn to love again
it's times like these time and time again

A Child Remembers His Mother's Death...

She passed one full moon night...
Don't ask me the day...when it was...
Long from now...
A vague remembrance...of charcoal burning...burning slow anxious pain...
It was one full moon night...
When I had not slept...it was the first night before which, sleep had taken me in her warm feathers...
Where she fled from that night...
My eyes o’er the sleepless stars...
Sought her return...
The night when fear was known to me...
The greatest fears of all...
Fear of losing...
It was one full moon night...
Don't ask me the day
I had grown in a night...
My amuse...
She passed and I just looked...
And looked
Passed to where...
Know I not...
Full moon night ‘t was...
Like today...
Its consistent routines...
Slipped she to irregular tracks..

Past pale radiance
Pale radiance to shine o’er faint nostalgia...
(Woke from innocent carelessness...
To what...I amused... it was uncomfortable...awkward...just too bad to be real.)

No one listens

Ignored,
Insulted.
Humiliated,
Tormented.
Bored,
And unhappy.
Life's hard,
But they don't understand.
If they did,
Life would be easier.
I get in trouble,
I get a broken heart everyday.
I get bullied,
I get hurt.
I run away,
To get away.
I think about,
All the times I did that.
I cry,
I lie.
I run,
But don't have fun.
My only friend,
Is my cat.
My only loved one,
Is my ex.
I'm lonely,
I'm scared.
I'm frightened,
I'm helpless.
I'm in trouble,
I'm friendless.
I need help,
But no one listens.
I'll just stay lonely,
I'll just stay friendless.
I don't need help,
Cause they have proved,
They won't get rid of,
The bullies,
The trouble,
The pain,
The day,
The light...
