Chimes of Justice
This I express to usual times,
A sense of justice has chimes,
No crimes, nor devils of hardness,
Just innocent helpers and neatness.
The little jokers fear a crowd,
Which do not dare enter aloud.
Why do joking few contribute to the whole menu?
This exactness is humour, a lesser one to argue.
We are in times of distress,
The very hilt of the sword is to assess.

On Betrayal
we often feel as if we've been betrayed...
and we're hurt, angry, scarred, and vindictive...
but the truth is we lead lives of betrayal.
times we fail others, times we fail ourselves.
times when we mean to do the right thing,
and dont follow through.
times we excuse ourselves by
saying we're following our heart.
times we turn away,
and blame it on circumstance.
times we dont dare to do what life demands.
times we choose indifference,
times we think we've already given enough.
times we choose the easy way out.
times we are not grateful...
times we dont forgive but expect forgiveness.

Dream For The Future
Oh that chaos would settle down
underneath these skies,
then we could look at this sweet earth
with angelic eyes.
There will come a day when all
sins of men shall be
swallowed up and cast aside
for all eternity.
For much too long has man forgotten
the reason he was born.
So the chaos and fear that's with us still
will be plucked out like a thorn.
The poets of the body and poets of the soul
shall choose their words with care.
And describe to those who come after
the burdens of those who dare
to repeat the times that were with men
in times when most were blind.
For the clock now chimes the moment
when every man will find
that spiritual adventure belongs to him
and will not be denied.
The cries, the hurts, the pains of all

Devils Island
The light that fills my lonely cell,
Is blocked out by the key,
That locks the door to this hell,
The place they wanted me.
Times racing like the wind,
Executions near,
Oh lord, I wait for death,
And, yes, I have no fear.
I recall that night, my every breath,
And, step along the way.
Closed my eyes, walking,
As danger paved the way.
The devil, and the darkness
Let her evil wander free
And, here on devils island,
The final stop for me.

Oh, there is no escape,
The sea is full of sharks.
The tide takes you away, and
Smashes you on the rocks.
The sun is shining,
But feel not today,

Don't you understand there is no place for you among us?
Yes, there is no place for you because you keep killing us.

I Try to Deliver Those Lines
I try,
But sometimes deny...
Any attempt to do poetry justice.
I try,
To deliver those lines...
With exquisite meter and rhyme.
And with a subject that produces content.
Keeping within a topic that is well defined.
But there are times,
I am not seeking correctness when I express.
My mind isn't calibrated for premeditated stress...
To toil away in a standardize acceptance.
That is as difficult for me,
As knowing the difference between cheap and fine wine.
However...
If treated with a glass of champagne.
Everything I bring into creative focus,
Will take upon a poetic justice as I sip and uncover...
Justification for it.
I can then write about life and why birds fly.
Boots I perceived worn by the bees...
Since they do work in the thickets of pollen,
To get that honey whipped.
Or I could sit back and imagine mowing snow in the Winter.
As I observe someone bar-b-cue in a fur coat joking.
I try!
Especially when I write,
To do poetry justice.
But like Poe few would know...
If my best creations were enhanced by alcohol,
And I had been wasted.
Or if a sip of champagne is all it takes,
For me to awaken with a banging hangover.

There are times when I'm happy
and times when I'm sad
and all of these times that I have had
are all connected to you,
