A Devil's Job
Evil is an occupation best left to the devils,
Their food is quite a craft to the devils.
Save a job that must be saved, according to some,
It is surviving everyone staffed, to the devils.
One must spare a little thought to the anxious few,
A hazard is in those who laughed, to the devils.
Your faith is coming to be solid, an impressive affair,
And kept it intact when attacked, by the devils.
Innocence is a pleasure to behold, especially when,
It commands our future as we watched the devils.
Unhappy are the affairs of men and women,
When you are redundant instead of the devils.

Sonnet: Man Sins Often
Why do we slip into sin so often?
’Tis natural for man to commit sin;
We think the devils’ attacks will soften;
But how many can give up drinking gin?
Man thinks, he’s smarter than all the devils;
Man succumbs to temptations most of time:
Man does less good but keeps doing evils;
His nexus with the devils becomes prime.
So, God allows problems till man atones;
This is the time when man thinks about God;
Thus, man repents for all his sins and moans;
Heaven’s mercy rains down on him from Lord.
Yet, man will continue to sin again;
From punishing him, God does still refrain.

Sonnet: God, Seal My Purified Soul!
God take away the urge to sin from me;
My body’s weary from devils’ assaults;
The devils come to tempt me frequently;
My weakened spirit leads me to more faults!
God, tell me how I can be pure of heart?
I succumb to temptations so often;
I fail to learn the devils’ wily part;
Forgive me Lord: May your anger soften!
World’s sinfulness has grown in leaps and bounds;
Just say the word and my soul shall be healed;

Just when I thought my troubles were over,
Problems afresh poured like torrential rain;
I had to go to God for fresh cover;
The devils realigned themselves again!
I’m sure to win again in shorter time;
The devils cannot win the game at all;
I know the terrain where I tread and clime;
God helps me stand up if ever I fall.
My faith in God is like a mighty rock!
My tolerance to problems is quite high;
My rocket with its mother-ship will dock;

0 let me stay God, at least in Limbo;
But never in the Inferno called Hell;
And sufferings eternal undergo;
None can ever escape to come and tell.
If only men knew 'fore-hand hell's story,

And most will land only in Purgatory;

What’s the conflict between God and my soul?
I know God is the Omnipotent One!
And being sin-free is my earthly goal;
To enter Heaven, isn’t something called fun!
What’s the confusion ’tween the right and wrong?
God gave each one conscience to sort this out;
Can uncleans’d sinners be, the saints among?
That pure souls only see God- there’s no doubt!
How can I serve devils and go to God?
One has to choose just one between the two:
Ignoring Heaven invites God’s just Rod!

Infinite Nightmares
The nightmare to commence is like no manly figure,
Of greetings we speak and entice on the entrance to infinity.
The gates of treason shall shut on the non-sinners,
Theirs is sin of nothing on this faithful Earth.
For they abstain from sinning by remoulding their souls,
By forgiving under a roof made for them, in the house of God.
Free will is guaranteeing our boasting of non-evil or goodness,
The devils or backbiters triumph over the Satan,
Answering him negatively as well, with certain impoliteness.
This we inflict on you, the audience of hurt,
They hurt me and the children, the devils hurt.

Ignorance? Don’t worry. It’s light..
Divine light. Frozen. Waiting for the day when -
isn’t that a little lightening on the eastern horizon?
Do you see it? Now I look, it’s definitely there..
it’s growing as I look…
this could be the beginning…
Obstructions? Don’t worry. They’re light…
Divine light. Hidden. You see them, and –
now you see them, now you take a good look at them,
suddenly you can see round them, over them, above them…
oh, they weren’t obstructions… they were
signposts, here’s a big black nothing
standing as a sentinel across the path…
Devils? Don’t worry. They’re God…
It’s God saying, how strong are you,
are you ready to see me yet, or
will the brightness be too much for you?
No problem - take your time...
invent something - ignorance, obstructions, devils -
... feel a hero to overcome it all...
I'll wait... I've all the time in the world...
They, those devils, don’t like you to know, of course –
it’s fun playing with people; but
it’s no fun knowing you are bound
finally to lose… God has to give them
