A Bridge-Crossing
Gaining a bridge will keep us apart,
Open this only now
Describing us totally and satisfactorily,
With arms in the hope of reaching
I concern the older generation.
My wizardry fetched intelligence
As this brings mathematics, farther than the eye
Inside of which is super fluid,
Glue to make the hearing and over.
A blind crossing will enter the book
Fists clenched and covers handled.

Crossing Over
(on the cant stop lovin you cd single)
I reach across to the other side
To make contact with you
Golden slumber, you fill my dreams
When [and? ] I make contact with you, oh
Dont ask me why Im crossing over
Oh, crossing over
Sammy: eddie:
I never got to ? whats it all about?
Really know you is there a way... out...
The way I want to now outta here
So many things i... Im like the rest;
I didnt tell you seeking an answer
I wanna tell you now
Tell me why, oh lord but why, why, why, why?
Youre crossing over why? why?
(I gotta bring you back... to see your face)
Oh, crossing over
(I wanna hear you call my name, [to] feel your touch)
Reaching out, reaching out
(hear your voice again)
(to hear your voice again)
Crossing over
(to feel your touch)
Reaching out
(to feel you)
Crossing over
(to feel)
Crossing over

Crossing The Bridge
SHAGGS 2 DOPE (INTRO): Dearest Almighty Creator...
VIOLENT J AND SHAGGS 2 DOPE: Ive lived on hell of a life, if your to take it tonight, Ive lived the life of a king, but so muck to darken the light/Looking 360 degrees, two hundred thousand disease, how can I lay back and chill, so many down on their knees/But then again who am I, Im just some typical guy, I aint no in hero, I just been wondering why...
VIOLENT J AND SHAGGS 2 DOPE (CHORUS): I seen some children/Crossing the bridge/What kind of life did/They get to live? What kind of choice do/They get to make/What if it was a/Childs mistake?
VIOLENT J AND SHAGGS 2 DOPE: Ill never question the book, but lets say I lived by the book, I never ate meat on Tuesdays, how much bigger would my wings look?/I try to pray everyday, but sometimes get lost on the way, I seen the holiest spirit, so muck to miss lead the way/I gave the visions I got, I been told Im gonna rot, inside the devils intestines, Im still here holding my spot, Ive just been wondering why...
VIOLENT J AND SHAGGS 2 DOPE (CHORUS): I seen some children/Crossing the bridge/What kind of life did/They get to live? What kind of choice do/They get to make/What if it was a/Childs mistake?
BREAK DOWN: COME ON UP AND OPEN UP YOUR DOOR/WHAT IF ITS A PERGATORY DOOR/COME ON UP AND OPEN UP YOUR DOOR/WHAT IF ITS A PERGATORY DOOR/ in take me instead!
CHORUS: I seen some children/Crossing the bridge/What kind of life did/They get to live? What kind of choice do/They get to make/What if it was a/Childs mistake?/ in take me instead!
CHORUS: I seen some children/Crossing the bridge/What kind of life did/They get to live? What kind of choice do/They get to make/What if it was a/Childs mistake?/ in take me instead!

You Need A Family
You need a woman who is wife,
You need a living man, and man who is manly,
Yet children are the roots of contentment
For they provide the religious attitude
And their concerns are few,
As few as nature has categories.
You need a tree of wizardry, of family,
And the worst are impediments to the reality;
They are sick when well, and they realise a spell
That concocts their desires of normalcy.
You send the bridge a crossing by the members
Of the family.
This is wizardry, and this is magic.

The End To Civilization
There's insensibility across our nation
no respect for the older generation
only harrassment and alienation
brings the end to our civilization
Lies and corruption
are a devotion
set forth in motion
becoming a stable notion
Our young generation
has determination
but the wrong vibration
towards education
We cannot cope
or have any hope
when half our people
are doing dope
We're cleaning the mess
gaining some success
but in the end
we'll be consumed by stress
There's insensibility across our nation
no respect or coordination
It's a painful situation
It's the end to civilization.

Lull
time is a lullaby
the being inside a being
is like a baby inside a cradle
of the arms of a mother
inside is inside and further is another further
somehow when farther goes farther
there is more to become
rather than find an exit and then enter
another door and close it and live there
and then bone after bone
you take away what is left of
the self after the flesh is consumed
by another hungry flesh.
there is a lull in boredom
there is a escape that longs for
another greater escape.
i know you're tired listening to this
but does it really matter?

Accustomed To Ignoring Their Own Treasures
When I came to give,
Hands were closed.
And fists were clenched.
Prepared what seemed to me to be,
Arguments conflicting with my interests.
Then when it became discovered,
What I came to give...
Would be of benefit.
Hands surrounded me opened like cups.
And those with clenched fists,
Were prepared to pat me on the back.
As if a lost relative had for them been missed.
When I CAME to give,
Hands were closed.
And fists were clenched.
An impression made,
I have not forgotten since.
When I CAME to offer,
I was immediately dismissed.
And NOW...
Today?
I've learned my worth is too valuable.
Too genuine to just give away.
Especially to those,
Accustomed to ignoring their own treasures.
And suspicious of those,
Who have chosen them to give.
Prehaps my approached for them was too sincere.
Since from them 'then'...
I HAD asked for nothing.

New Generation
Another day no peace in sight
A solution, far away
The military won the war
Certainly not for you and me
How many generations will it take
To cut the stream of blood
I hear voices that spin inside my head
It's your voice that counts so much
Here comes the young,
the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
The world looks kind of small from way up there
Through the window of our time
The shuttle broke into a million pieces
In the bluest sky
The world is spinning 'round way too fast
And New York City went all dark
There's a message that goes out tonight
From the bottom of my heart
Here comes the young, the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
Here comes the young, the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
Always hold on to your dreams
Because the world is not the same
The day your hope will die
Just carry on for you and me
'Cause it's the spark inside that flame
That gives your visions life
Here comes the young, the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
Here comes the young, the new generation
You are the only ones
You are the only ones who can make a change
We are we are the new generation
We are the only ones
We are the only ones who can make a change

Feelin Down Farther
Tom johnston
Well, the sun is shinin
A new day is here
All the people smilin
And the sky is clear
Not an hour wasted will I share with you
Got to keep lovin, mama
No matter what I do
Ooh, ooh, ooh
I got to tell you
Feelin down farther
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther, baby
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther, baby
Feelin farther down
Jesus, hear me
When I sing out loud
The echoes of my gladness
Fall upon the crowd
I dont care for sadness
And I dont need fear
I hope they finally realize
That the feelin is near
Ooh, ooh, ooh
I got to tell you
Feelin down farther
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther, baby
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther, baby
Feelin farther down
Givin and receivin
Are all I know
Some of you will find it
And youll probbly let it show
Only one thing that I know to be true
Every day is different, mama
And so are you
Ooh, ooh, ooh
I got to tell you
Feelin down farther
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther, baby
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther, baby
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther
Feelin farther down
Feelin down farther, baby
Feelin farther down

Open Arms
If love is what you want
Baby here I am
If tenderness is what you need
Ive got that to give
If you need some affection
Baby these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms
You come hem youve had a hard day
Every door you tried to open
Was closing in your face
Im right here Ill be right here
Ill embrace you
Ill be open with my heart
Ill let you in
Ill be open with my thoughts
Ill be your best friend
If you need some attention
Baby these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms
Every corner you turn
Trouble come your way
But when you get home
Ill try to be there
And Ill embrace you
These are
These are
These are
Open arms
If time is what you need
Baby Ill stop the clocks
If youre looking for something
Maybe Ive got what you want
If theres one thing to remember
Dont forget that these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms
These are
These are
These are
Open arms

Elegy
Summer breeze, kisses me
Autumn leaves retire
Apathy, breaking free
Still waiting for the sun
See me as I wait
See me wait
I can't see another
See me wait
Forever
Reach a plea, honey feed
Open, feel like fire
Turning red, above my head
Reaching to recover
See me as I wait
See me wait
I can't see another
See me wait
I can't end another
Open your arms (See me wait)
Just see how it is (Another)
Open your arms (See me wait)
Just see how it is, see how it is (Another)
Open your arms
Just see how it is (Another)
Reaching again (See me wait)
Just see how it is (Another)

Elusive Dreams
Each day I search
for that elusive dream,
the one that is just out of reach.
The closer I get to it,
the farther it seems away.
Always it seems farther
than my arms can reach.
One day I hope to catch it,
but I’ve been saying that for years.
I’ve watched other people reach out
and their dreams are there,
but mine just seem
to be moving farther
and farther away from me.

Two Kinds of Intelligence
There are two kinds of intelligence: one acquired,
as a child in school memorizes facts and concepts
from books and from what the teacher says,
collecting information from the traditional sciences
as well as from the new sciences.
With such intelligence you rise in the world.
You get ranked ahead or behind others
in regard to your competence in retaining
information. You stroll with this intelligence
in and out of fields of knowledge, getting always more
marks on your preserving tablets.
There is another kind of tablet, one
already completed and preserved inside you.
A spring overflowing its springbox. A freshness
in the center of the chest. This other intelligence
does not turn yellow or stagnate. It's fluid,
and it doesn't move from outside to inside
through conduits of plumbing-learning.
This second knowing is a fountainhead
from within you, moving out.

Metaphors of a Magnifico
Twenty men crossing a bridge,
Into a village,
Are twenty men crossing twenty bridges,
Into twenty villages,
Or one man
Crossing a single bridge into a village.
This is old song
That will not declare itself . . .
Twenty men crossing a bridge,
Into a village,
Are
Twenty men crossing a bridge
Into a village.
That will not declare itself
Yet is certain as meaning . . .
The boots of the men clump
On the boards of the bridge.
The first white wall of the village
Rises through fruit-trees.
Of what was it I was thinking?
So the meaning escapes.
The first white wall of the village...
The fruit-trees...

Super MoM
Times are getting hard and not getting better
But one thing that stands and has not broken down is my mom
We've been through the storm an into the slet
But one thing about my mom is she stayed on her two feet
My mom is very smart, intelligent, mature super women, and funny at times
But NO matter what she has always made her way with her 3 girls
A strong black women with the potential to do anything, she is a super women..
I know our mother daughter relationship was not close but I'm getting older and I want our Relationship to get better.
But there's only one thing I want, an that's to get older with you.
You have always been My Mother an Farther since George had gone
But one thing about you you is that you stand strong.
I love you mom

Super Cop
Super cop (12 times)
I was born to serve justice
But I dont sermonize
Good is good
Bad is bad
And I never compromise
They lock me in a rocket
Made of flesh and bone
Ill meet you in the war zone
With my fists of stone
Im a super cop
Im a super cop
My bodys a machine
Made to synchronize
Every time Im called to action
Make me recognize
When the forces of corruption
Do the tyrannize
Then I shift to overdrive
And start to pulverize
Im a super cop
Eliminate the foe
With karate chops
Im a super cop
Im a super charged cop
And I cant be stopped.
Im a super cop
I was born to serve justice
Get my name
Im a super cop
Kung fu action is my game
Im a cop now
A super cop now
He drives around in a world turned upside down
Im a cop now
A super cop now
Hes gotta round up all the evil clowns
Im a cop now
A super cop now
What he sees just makes him want to cry
Im a cop now
A super cop now
He works alone cause if he dont hell die
(spoken) the truth and protect
The motto I ascribe to
With equal justice
For the down and out or well to do
Im a super cop
A gangsters worst nightmare
One man demolition team
Ill send them into disrepair
Hes been fighting,
Fighting for so long
Im a super cop
Hes been righting,
Righting every wrong
Im a super cop
Now hes hiding
From the long arm of the law
Im a cop now
A super cop now
He gets up and tries to save the world
Im a cop now
A super cop now
He goes out and tries to find a girl
Im a cop now
A super cop now
If youre a punk hell aim straight for your belt
Im a cop now
A super cop now
He makes the news every time he kicks some butt
Super cop (12 times)

A New Age
Beyond this present strand,
Herald the dawn of a new age,
With another incomplete generation,
And we leave the past to go on pilgrimage.
People reaching out for a new start,
Fleeing the present awful destiny,
With the shame and guilt of our past,
Crossing the rippling tides of history.
To explore a beautiful concept,
Leaving the dark dusty spirit,
Of this fading world dying debt,
With guilty pleasures we must neglect.
There is doubt in every candidates vote,
Stumbling on with promise accountability,
History rewritten on a new bank note,
And each decision causes more anxiety.
The new age owes no maintenance,
Over the darkness of this generation,
But offers hope and a life more intense,
Than the existence of present cohesion.
I will watch as new horizon turn the page,
Bands play music for the decade to dance,
We wait patiently at the crossing of a new age,
The decision of faith spun by chance.
New age may bring hope and credibility
But only where things exist of simplest nature,
To brighten the future with our destiny,
In pursuit of many more hopeful desire.

The Delights of Mathematics
It seems a hundred years or more
Since I, with note-book, ink and pen,
In cap and gown, first trod the floor
Which I have often trod since then;
Yet well do I remember when
With fifty other fond fanatics,
I sought delights beyond my ken,
The deep delights of Mathematics.
I knew that two and two made four,
I felt that five times two were ten,
But, as for all profounder lore,
The robin redbreast or the wren,
The sparrow, whether cock or hen,
Knew quite as much about Quadratics,
Was less confused by x and n,
The deep delights of Mathematics.
The Asses' Bridge I passed not o'er,
I floundered in the noisome fen
Which lies behind it and before;
I wandered in the gloomy glen
Where Surds and Factors have their den.
But when I saw the pit of Statics,
I said Good-bye, Farewell, Amen!
The deep delights of Mathematics.
O Bejants! blessed, beardless men,
Who strive with Euclid in your attics,
For worlds I would not taste again
The deep delights of Mathematics.

My Lovely Sister
Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister
I read somewhere and I think to myself how fate was so kind
The experience I have had in the years of my life untold and unsaid
But I would like her to know she is always on my mind
A sister is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost
For I will lose all the luxuries and tranquility of life in time
I will not lose the warming comfort in your aura that reminds me
That I may lose the hope and dreams but my sister will always be mine
What's the good of news if you haven't a sister to share it?
And I have shared it all, the faults and mistakes that I have done
But one thing that remains unshared is the special bond between us
There would be no one except you in my heart, there would be none
How do people make it through life without a sister?
I wonder the pain left inside, I have pain on the inside too
But they are soothed by your presence and heavenly light
For I have to get out of darkness, there is no place but you
In the cookies of life, sisters are the chocolate chips
You have added sweetness in my life that is unending and blissful
We have shared some arguments, some fists, and some laughs
We have live the life but I haven't shared the love that is the glue
Through these words I hope the feel reaches you and you would know
I love you my sister but but I did not show.
Is solace anywhere more comforting than in the arms of a sister
I read somewhere and I think to myself how fate was so kind
The experience I have had in the years of my life untold and unsaid
But I would like her to know she is always on my mind
