The Edges/Rubovi
sometimes you think the edges are
the edges of a flight
sometimes you think the edges are
the edges of a fall
but you cannot know that
unless you take off
ponekad mislis da rubovi su
rubovi leta
ponekad mislis da rubovi su
rubovi pada
ali ne mozes znati
ako se ne otisnes

Rough Around The Edges
Chorus:
I'm a little rough around the edges
I didn't come out of no GQ magazine
I don't use a lot of big words
But I'm bent on love if you know what I mean.
I ain't in'trested in bein' politically correct
I stand right up and say what I believe
I'm a little rough around the edges,
But I think I'm exactly what you need.
As you can see I ain't all spit and polish
And every hair on my head ain't in its place
I ain't got no big degree from college
And I guess to tell the truth I need a shave.
Chorus:
I'm a little rough around the edges
I didn't come out of no GQ magazine
I don't use a lot of big words
But I'm bent on love if you know what I mean.
Whoa!
Well, you may think I'm just a KC plowboy
Well, just give me a chance to strut my stuff
I don't shine like some pin-up poster cowboy
But neither does a diamond when you pick it up.
Chorus:
I'm a little rough around the edges
I didn't come out of no GQ magazine
I don't use a lot of big words
But I'm bent on love if you know what I mean.
I'm a little rough around the edges,
But I think I'm exactly what you need.
Yeah, Yeah!, Whoa!...

We're always attracted to the edges of what we are, out by the edges where it's a little raw and nervy.

The worlds I paint leave a lot to engage the imagination by hinting at what lies beyond the four edges of the painting. I think getting beyond the four edges of an opportunity or challenge is one of the basic skills you need in business.

Sides, Edges and Vertices Edited
Sides form the faces that we see
They make shapes in 2D
Edges are where two sides meet
To walk on them would hurt your feet
Vertices, three plus edges joint
Come together as a point
To count them in exam's quite a trick
Even with a 3D pic
Not everyone can visualise
And to learn the rules you must revise!

I think the best pictures are often on the edges of any situation, I don't find photographing the situation nearly as interesting as photographing the edges.

The fundamental idea of these pylons, or great archways, is based on a method of construction peculiar to me, of which the principle consists in giving to the edges of the pyramid a curve of such a nature that this pyramid shall be capable of resisting the force of the wind without necessitating the junction of the edges by diagonals as is usually done.

Fotografija
fotografija
boze,
sta da napisem o tome.
to volim da radim,
ponekad od toga zivim.
kad u to gledam:
ponekad sam tuzan,
ponekad sam srecan.
drago lice
vidim kao da je tu.
ruzno,
okrenem, izbrisem
i kao da nije bilo tu.
to je magija
koja vjecno traje.
boze,
samo je vazno da znam
sta ne mogu slikati.

Glass Rose
a glass rose
with broken edges,
sits alone on the table
in an empty room...
sunlight stolen
from crusted shades,
glints on the petals;
the raw edges shimmer,
almost to touch!
gathering dust,
frozen by time....
a glass rose....
almost to touch!

A Womans Touch
(toby keith/wayne perry)
Lately Ive been lookin through the windows of my soul
And I can see theres not much left to hold
Just an empty space surrounded by the pieces of
A badly broken heart thats forgotten how to love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
A tender hand to fix it up
Its rough and ragged edges sure could use some love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
When I look in the mirror, the only thing I see
Are traces of the man I used to be
Late at night I hear it, it cannot be denied
A lonely voice is crying out from somewhere deep inside
What my heart needs is a womans touch
A tender hand to fix it up
Its rough and ragged edges sure could use some love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
What my heart needs is a womans touch
A tender hand to fix it up
Its rough and ragged edges sure could use some love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
Yeah, its rough and ragged edges
Sure could sure some love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
What my poor heart needs is a womans touch
A womans touch

Crazy Dream
we tip toe around the edges,
as we orbit and tilt.
we watch the planet wobble,
like a tossed coin thrown into
this well.
its a crazy dream, and its
bruised and bumped.
its a crazy dream, and its
making me ill.
we tip toe around the edges,
only to fall asleep, its the end
we are concernd with, not the
beginning or the middle.
and its a crazy dream, and its
bruised and bumbed, its a crazy
dream, and its making me ill.

Into the heart (Nafaka)
Within the mists beyond the edges of dawn
I will begin the song of love
The sunshine will be inside
A dandalion blown in the breath of daybreak
The blue of my hometown bay
The speechless fish in a water castle
The night will settle down
Across the black sparkling gown of the sky
I will begin the song of love
The stone will be inside
It’ll sing the fullness of sense
A butterfly will be inside
It’ll sing the length of its own flight
My own waiting I will sing
The Moon will emerdge on the edges of the sky
I will begin the song made of love
A grain of sand will be inside
It’ll fall in love with the mountain
A dropp of water will be inside
Inexpressibility it’ll glitter

I want to be, if I can, as sure of the world --the real world-- around me as is possible. Now, you can only attain that to a certain degree, but I want the greatest degree of control. I've never involved myself in narcotics of any kind, I don't smoke, and I don't drink because that can easily just fuzz the edges of my rationality--fuzz the edges of my reasoning powers--and I want to be as aware as I possibly can. That means giving up a lot of fantasies that might be comforting in some ways, but I'm willing to give that up in order to live in an actually real world, or as close as I can get to it.

Tattoo
The light is like a spider.
It crawls over the water.
It crawls over the edges of the snow.
It crawls under your eyelids
And spreads its webs there--
Its two webs.
The webs of your eyes
Are fastened
To the flesh and bones of you
As to rafters or grass.
There are filaments of your eyes
On the surface of the water
And in the edges of the snow.

Today I Try To Pick Up The Shattered Pieces
today i try to pick up the shattered
pieces of myself and yourself
every piece, and color and shape
compared and analyzed
to make each fit and be the whole
as us again
i put the bond to fix the edges
to make them stick as though
nothing was ever broken
i do not wish to blink and then fall asleep
the hours run like there is no way to tame them
they say they are always on a rush
and no one has ever stopped them
i tremble on some tiny pieces
and have a hard time solving the puzzle
where do they fit so well?
to deceive our eyes
to give triumph to the healing of the hands
i am a failure on some interstices
there are leaks of light
& tiny holes
there is so much emptiness
this hollow wholeness
i have failed and i am lost and so here i am
back to your arms
wanting to be a definite part of you
to seal what leak is there
to put off the tiny lights
to reconstruct the smoothness of the edges
to love you and be loved by you

Stone
Stone alone hide the unity of the soul
Self centre chiseled in many a form
Partake the centre of the universe
Alone
Stone alone
The griffins grave keepers opening the jaws
Partake shadow in a
Stone
Stone alone
The Sphynx upside down
Clinging to the edges of a smile
Ice frozen on the mysteries
Of centuries Centaur raging at Minotaur
Now laugh all around
Winking cunningly
Gioconda mocking
Drop a glove on the floor
Flirting with death
A black hand will lift
White gloved touch of
Stone
Alone
Stone alone will carve the face
Cut the faces into a living wound of the stone
Rocked in the cradle swinging left right
Tectonically
To the ground
To the stone
Absolutely discentred
Alone
Summon the unity
Aloneness hanging from the rope
Bitter ends of days
Edges crying for the summits
And the summits seeking the edges
In the hide and seek of the soul alone
Stone alone hide the unity of the soul
First ray shattered upon the horizon
Horizon rise
At night alone by day alone
Soul alone stone alone
Carved
YOU

Mixin The Colors
All across the continents
Everywhere a soul is sent
A new mix of the races is takln
Its what hitler didn t like
And it makes a pretty sight
Just look at what you see on your mtv
Out on the edges they re mixin the colors
Some they don t like it but me I don t mind
In every city they re mixing the colors
Different shades for the whole countryside
If you leave the hate alone tonight
Musics gonna get you home tonight
If you leave the hate alone tonight
Musics gonna get you home tonight
Mixin, they re mixin
On the edges of the line
Theres a different kind of kind
No one seems to claim for
The race war games
cause you don t have to choose sides
It just crucifies your mind
Theres a hundred million ways
To live your life for yourself
Out on the edges they re mixin the colors
Some they don t like it but me I don t mind
In every city they re mixin the colors
Different shades for the whole countryside
I like the kids with the ways of their own
If you leave the hate alone tonight
Musics gonna get you home tonight
If you leave the hate alone tonight
Musics gonna get you home tonight
Mixin the colors
Now a language that sounds new
Comes a-driftin next to you
And the music that you hear ls changin too
Cuz they re mixin the colors
Baby the colors

This flower had a yellow center white lapetals
with Violet edges each little part a much larger
representation of this whole thing was not
as big as mye own hand eye devised a plan quite
similar to pulling stem from apple reading
alphabetic eye have to get to V for Violet
but instead of tempting fate or GOD or Jesus
his own SON or human reflex eye placed no letter
on this game but gamely twisted this flower
in a circle flicking petals in the air until
to mye surprise only one remained with
yellow centered white for love with Violet
edges this Symbol of our love this Flower
stem of green to base this Flower on,
this viable of love.

The Tree Cutters
Roadside tress falling to the bottom of the sea,
orange moonmen with profiles of edges and plastic
buzz like angry bees, so I crouch in
the middle of the earth, lost to green
under the forest, under moss, behind roots
but having small stones thrown into my eyes
am unable to look upwards
standing ashamed in my fern grave as
trucks rumble past, even a massacre of pigs
would leave them unconcerned, runed,
coloured with the names of strange places,
edges of towns alongside sand and gravel
and the radio in my car lights green,
fighting to regain sanity, helpless,
all meaning filtering down to a pulse,
reason is sick this morning, a lost voice.
