The fundamental idea of these pylons, or great archways, is based on a method of construction peculiar to me, of which the principle consists in giving to the edges of the pyramid a curve of such a nature that this pyramid shall be capable of resisting the force of the wind without necessitating the junction of the edges by diagonals as is usually done.

Another Pyramid
Sad to say our mighty ruler
Is not really in the pink
Hopes could not be minuscular
That he'll come back from the brink
Not to beat around the bush
He looks like heading for his box
At the risk of seeming pushy
We must plan for future shocks
According to the hawk of Horus
Our most regal invalid
Is not that much longer for us
Build another pyramid
Build it, build it
Another pyramid
build it, build it
Though all doctors and physicians
Have been summoned to his bed
It'll soon be top morticians
We'll be calling for instead
With each wheeze the nation's humming
Egypt shakes with every cough
No two ways about what's coming
No discussion, bets are off
Soon our monarch will have filled the tomb
Just like his fathers did
Summon Egypt's greatest builder
Need another pyramid
Build it, build it
Another pyramid
Build it, build it
We hate to depress the nation
But our leader has been told
He should scrub his next vacation
Even put tonight on hold
This is where his loyal priesthood
Has the chance to do him proud
Holy leaders at the least should
See him happy to his shroud
He must have a vault that's grand by
Any standards for to live
Put five thousand slaves on standby
Build another pyramid

A Pyramid
A Pyramid
Who ever gives a penny
To an idler
Idlling with fancy
High up in a pyramid
Socketing
One eye above
The other.
Crawing worms
Choose
But
Penny -hunting
Or noose-bunting.

Pyramid II
Pyramid, rim, ram, paid, day, dam, mad, Mary, pad, yard, dairy;
When the cat is away, the mouse will play!
But the sun shall not smite by day nor,
The moon by the night on your love! !
For, you are all that i need.
Pyramid, pin, ray, din, pay, pray, maid, raid, aid, yam, May, air;
Fools will never learn from anything,
For they always claim to be right in whatever they know!
But, you are all that i need on this love because, you are wise.

Rough Around The Edges
Chorus:
I'm a little rough around the edges
I didn't come out of no GQ magazine
I don't use a lot of big words
But I'm bent on love if you know what I mean.
I ain't in'trested in bein' politically correct
I stand right up and say what I believe
I'm a little rough around the edges,
But I think I'm exactly what you need.
As you can see I ain't all spit and polish
And every hair on my head ain't in its place
I ain't got no big degree from college
And I guess to tell the truth I need a shave.
Chorus:
I'm a little rough around the edges
I didn't come out of no GQ magazine
I don't use a lot of big words
But I'm bent on love if you know what I mean.
Whoa!
Well, you may think I'm just a KC plowboy
Well, just give me a chance to strut my stuff
I don't shine like some pin-up poster cowboy
But neither does a diamond when you pick it up.
Chorus:
I'm a little rough around the edges
I didn't come out of no GQ magazine
I don't use a lot of big words
But I'm bent on love if you know what I mean.
I'm a little rough around the edges,
But I think I'm exactly what you need.
Yeah, Yeah!, Whoa!...

The worlds I paint leave a lot to engage the imagination by hinting at what lies beyond the four edges of the painting. I think getting beyond the four edges of an opportunity or challenge is one of the basic skills you need in business.

I want to be, if I can, as sure of the world --the real world-- around me as is possible. Now, you can only attain that to a certain degree, but I want the greatest degree of control. I've never involved myself in narcotics of any kind, I don't smoke, and I don't drink because that can easily just fuzz the edges of my rationality--fuzz the edges of my reasoning powers--and I want to be as aware as I possibly can. That means giving up a lot of fantasies that might be comforting in some ways, but I'm willing to give that up in order to live in an actually real world, or as close as I can get to it.

Power Within
As far as the eye can see
There's so much uncertainty
I'm not blind
I see the truth
Open my eyes
I never knew the strength inside of me
Could ever make me wanna help to change the world
Follow my destiny
Hope's not gone
You're gonna see
It makes a difference
When you beleive
The power within
Can make the pyramid of light
Shine forever
Until the eighth millenium
We're gonna be together
But I don't know how
And I don't know when
All I know
We're gonna win
There's a hope for a balanced world
Yeah
And it's written in the cards
We are strong
When we are one
There's a higher purpose
Waiting for us
The power within
Can make the pyramid of light
Shine forever
Until the eighth millenium
We're gonna be together
But I don't know how
And I don't know when
All I know
We're gonna win
And you know
You can rely on me
For advice
You'll stay in my heart
And I don't
(Don't wana go)
Don't wanna go
(Don't wanna leave)
Don't wanna leave
But the power within
The power within
Can make the pyramid of light
Shine forever
Until the eighth millenium
We're gonna be together
But I don't know how
And I don't know when
All I know
The power within
Can make the pyramid of light
Shine forever
Until the eighth millenium
We're gonna be together
But I don't know how
And I don't know when
All I know

Sides, Edges and Vertices Edited
Sides form the faces that we see
They make shapes in 2D
Edges are where two sides meet
To walk on them would hurt your feet
Vertices, three plus edges joint
Come together as a point
To count them in exam's quite a trick
Even with a 3D pic
Not everyone can visualise
And to learn the rules you must revise!

Pyramania
Lead vocal: jack harris
There are pyramids in my head
Theres one underneath my bead
And my ladys getting cranky
Every possible location
Has a simple explanation
And it isnt hanky-panky
I had read
Somewhere in a book, they improve all your food and your wine
It said, that everything you grow in your garden would taste pretty fine
Instead, all I ever get is a pain in the neck and a
Yap yap yap yap yap yap yap
Ive consulted all the sages
I could find in the yellow pages
But there arent many of them
And the myan panoramas
On my pyramid pajamas
Havent helped my little problem
Ive been told
Someone in the know can be sure that his luck is as
Good as gold, money in the bank and you dont even pay for it
If you fold, a dollar bill in the shape of the pyramid thats printed on the
Back
Its no lie
You can keep the edge of a razor as sharp as an
Eagles eye, you can grow a hedge that is vertically straight over
Ten feet high, all you really need is a pyramid and just a little luck
I had read, somewhere in a book, they improve all your food and wine
Id been told, someone in the know can be sure of his good luck
Its no lie, all you need is a little bit of pyramidic help

A Solid Black
I am a solid black
The mystery ridiculed
And misunderstood
On the pages.
A solid black,
Resisting feelings
To contain the rages.
Enlightened,
And sharp at the edges
A solid black I am.

Glass Rose
a glass rose
with broken edges,
sits alone on the table
in an empty room...
sunlight stolen
from crusted shades,
glints on the petals;
the raw edges shimmer,
almost to touch!
gathering dust,
frozen by time....
a glass rose....
almost to touch!

A Womans Touch
(toby keith/wayne perry)
Lately Ive been lookin through the windows of my soul
And I can see theres not much left to hold
Just an empty space surrounded by the pieces of
A badly broken heart thats forgotten how to love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
A tender hand to fix it up
Its rough and ragged edges sure could use some love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
When I look in the mirror, the only thing I see
Are traces of the man I used to be
Late at night I hear it, it cannot be denied
A lonely voice is crying out from somewhere deep inside
What my heart needs is a womans touch
A tender hand to fix it up
Its rough and ragged edges sure could use some love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
What my heart needs is a womans touch
A tender hand to fix it up
Its rough and ragged edges sure could use some love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
Yeah, its rough and ragged edges
Sure could sure some love
What my heart needs is a womans touch
What my poor heart needs is a womans touch
A womans touch

Love consists in giving without getting in return; in giving what is not owed, what is not due the other. That's why true love is never based, as associations for utility or pleasure are, on a fair exchange.
