Sometimes a moment of the highest grace -
which comes as unannounced as does our sleep -
allows our vision, resting on some face,
from the familiar, pass to unknown deep:
and there, beyond the contours made by thought
is shown to us a finer, nobler brow;
magnificent, heroic, wise; yet not -
and this so moving - far from whom we know;
this wonder makes me humble; questioning
what duty might this vision lay on me,
who's seen that self in self's own fashioning:
am I to act, or simply let it be?
But this is certain: all man's self-respect
be known, should self in others so reflect.

Galileos head was on the block
The crime was looking up for truth

An Angel stands out in a crowd,
My heart sings out loud,
An Angel leaves behind a trail of clouds,
Just as your love makes me proud,
Everywhere you leave a sign,
Is it your time to be mine?
Waiting for your head to turn,
So my love can burn,
An Angel's grace lights your face,

The Vision
getting ready to go to bed
a vision came into my head
the vision was quite blurry
so i tried to hurry.
fearful that i might fall
to my wife i did call
as she came running to me
the vision became clear as can be
it was the face of MOTHER MARY
telling me that her son was in pain
seeing all the suffering and all the shame.
the shame that mankinds faith is dwinderling.
and the economy is creating so many doubts
and now is the time to put the doubt out.
so he is coming to rekindle the faith
that seems to be lost
by opening their hearts to a new beginning.
and to show you that through him you are winning.
he has never given up on you
and that's what we should do.
and as this vision started to fade
in me- a new heart was made.
and now that he has rekindled my life
i'll go to bed with my wife
and sleep as comfortable as can be
for i know he's always with me.
i praise the LORD up above
for he has eternal love.
he will never let me down
for he has turned my life around.

Coming up short
Summer brease blowing through the air with such clarity, the very sound from the silenced battle has ended, just like a ray of hope, the sun forcefully tears it's way through the clouds, the birds that once dropped atom bombs on sanity, are now singing and flying gracefully through the sky, the soldiers blood from their forgiven wounds, now grow trees where it once tainted, the nightmares are now turned to fantasies, the very aspect of fear is now transformed into love and compasion, i walk down a road once turned black with hatred and distrust, which is now gleaming with respect and dignity, a vision of an angle before me makes me dropp to my knees, questioning my vision, and hoping for my fate, she came and wispered the sweet words of the future in my ear, and in the end, i came up short! Irony at it's best...

Deep thick mist blurred the visibility
fatal hurricane scattered all hopes
and in robust the antagonists conspired
all allies deserted such a shattered world
that a lonely hermit resided.
A vision, in a dim though, shown beyond

Colorful Visions
There's a vision in my head
that surfaces while in bed.
And then when I awaken
the vision's gone.
It's beautiful to see
and when it comes to me
I feel as if it's here
but it moves on.
The vision's always fading
with colors bright, then shading
until I cannot see them
for it's dawn.
I anticipate the vision
and make a bold decision
to stay asleep
and trap this phenomenon.
But soon my eyes are open

Arresting Presence
The 'vision' was to be remembered.
But the hour of its visit was not.
A reinvention of my thought process...
Came to startle and speeded the beating,
Of my heart.
It did not terrorize,
But held me in awe and with surprise.
And before my eyes and ears appeared...
Magnificent light with familiar voices,
I endeared.
Immediate comfort with peace was mine.
Whatever 'it' was...
