Wrinkles
Wrinkles in time
trite phrase yet true
where life creates chaos
it leaves wrinkles in you
Furrows in fields
we pass along the way
while navigating roads
we must travel each day
All leave their mark
both inside and out
as we strive to comprehend
what life really is about
Holes in the fabric of time and space
equate to the wearing that in living takes place
With fabric and lives the choices seem the same
We can deal with challenges or merely place the blame
So whether wrinkles we bear
Or holes we must mend
We have tools at hand
It’s our choice in the end

Are our brains wrinkled?
Wrinkles are the measurement,
to show the life's management,
some are very near and deep,
and the rest long and steep.
Wrinkles are the asset,
that get through the experience,
not all those experienced,
never have such twinkles.
The wrinkles which can not be seen,
hidden inside the hard shell,
More the wrinkles formation,
More the knowledge dwell.
Let us see who has more fold.
Einstein or a research assistant,
people with more folds may not know it,
people with lesser folds strive to get it.
Do not let anyone,
to iron out the wrinkles,
with their disillusioned vision.
Let us acquire more in our brains.

Wrinkles and Grey Hair (Children)
Mommy's getting wrinkles.
Daddy has grey hair.
It wasn't very long ago
when those things weren't there.
Wish I could smooth the wrinkles out
and darken Daddy's hair
to stop the changes going on.
It makes me feel so scared.
Grampa, does it mean they'll die?
They have wrinkles and grey hair!
I never used to worry
before those things were there.
Grampa said to look at him.
There were lots of wrinkles there,
and on his head, a snowstorm
was the color of his hair.
'Wrinkles only come to point
where smiles were, here and there.
It's your mommy's turn to get some
for the happy times you've shared.'
His white, and Daddy's grey hair
well, it was there to show
who had lived the longest time
so everyone could know!
Grampa said it's part of life.
We love, we learn, we live.
We earn grey hair and wrinkles,
they're prizes only God can give.

Wrinkles
For Naomi Lazard
Sometimes I can't wait until I look like Nadezhda Mandelstam.
-- Naomi Lazard
My friends are tired.
The ones who are married are tired
of being married.
The ones who are single are tired
of being single.
They look at their wrinkles.
The ones who are single attribute their wrinkles
to being single.
The ones who are married attribute their wrinkles
to being married.
They have very few wrinkles.
Even taken together,
they have very few wrinkles.
But I cannot persuade them
to look at their wrinkles
collectively.
& I cannot persuade them that being married
or being single
has nothing to do with wrinkles.
Each one sees a deep & bitter groove,
a San Andreas fault across her forehead.
"It is only a matter of time
before the earthquake."
They trade the names of plastic surgeons
like recipes.
My friends are tired.
The ones who have children are tired
of having children.
The ones who are childless are tired
of being childless.
They love their wrinkles.
If only their were deeper
they could hide.
Sometimes I think
(but do not dare to tell them)
that when the face is left alone to dig its grave,
the soul is grateful
& rolls in.

Wrinkles
Gettin out of the tub all drawn up like a raisin
Showed my fingers to my daddy while he was shavin
Said look at my toes dad whats wrong with my skin
Will this go away, will I be normal again
Well he picked me up and set me down on the hamper
Wiped off his face while he gave me the answer
For the first time I noticed the lines in his grin
As he dabbed a little foam on the end of my chin, he said
Chorus
Those wrinkles aint nothin to be scared of
Theyre just a product of time and true love
Some are gonna come and go
Some are gonna come and stay
Son, youre still young, youre gonna be ok
Well, I walked down the hall, saw my mom gettin ready
For a long over due date, dinner with daddy
She was cussin those crows feet, didnt know I was listenin
Started talkin bout her younger years
And how much she missed them and I said
2nd chorus
Those wrinkles aint nothin to be scared of
Theyre just a product of time and true love
Some are gonna come and go
Some are gonna come and stay
Mom you still look young, youre gonna be ok
As I get a little older, Im startin to get a few
And Im sure I gave mom and dad at least one or two
Were all gonna have em, there aint no doubt
But those wrinkles in life aint nothin you cant iron out
3rd chorus
Those wrinkles aint nothin to be scared of
Theyre just a product of time and true love
Some are gonna come and go
Some are gonna come and stay
I still feel young, Im gonna be ok
Bridge
Those wrinkles aint nothin to be scared of
Theyre just a product of time and true love

Souls And Rain-Drops
Light rain-drops fall and wrinkle the sea,
Then vanish, and die utterly.
One would not know that rain-drops fell
If the round sea-wrinkles did not tell.
So souls come down and wrinkle life
And vanish in the flesh-sea strife.
One might not know that souls had place
Were't not for the wrinkles in life's face.

Primal Scream Moments
No amount of grand long-term goals
or serious to frivolous motivation can
save me when the ground falls away
and I grow imbalanced, I glare at the
world without lovable McGonagall’s
love-beaming eyes and trust it is the
glint of steel that makes my eyes shine
at a time like this
I believe advantage can be extracted from
anything, but I hate it all the same, going
through black holes where the ghosts of
sad feelings and distraught emotion are
waiting to invade my soul and take me
back to Arthur Janov’s primal scream
moments, I refuse to apply his remedy
or try dissolving Ron Hubbard’s locks
The negative outcry of their critics have
convinced me it is using dynamite to blow
up small wrinkles in the fabric of time, I
prefer applying Seth’s recommendation
to look at framework two and see life in
a different perspective using the present
to influence and change both future
and past...

Reflection
Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Why do I look in you, at all,
For all I see is the same old me,
And not how I so want to be.
Mirror, mirror on the stairs,
Why do you show me many years,
A face with wrinkles everywhere,
Would anybody like my share.
Mirror, mirror near my bed,
In you I look with certain dread,
For creams and potions just don't work,
Behind them still the wrinkles lurk.
Mirror, mirror in the hall,
Seeing you makes me recall,
That I am now of senior age,
Well stuck into the wrinkles stage.
Mirror, mirror by the door,
How I hate you more and more,
I'm having to look the other way,
When my reflection's on display.

Pinch
i look at my face wrinkles are being drawn like a plow making furroughs
on the ricefield,
wrinkles, i am getting wrinkles,
i look at my arms and i touch it, they are loose now, like some clothes
hanging loosely in my body, emaciated by lack of nutrition,
i look at my hear, i open it like a pettry cash box, i see some scars
and some loose coins for change, i like to break it open and leave
it that way, i am saddened by this
emptiness, this pain,
i stand now in the mirror with a picture on hand of my youth
i look many times finding how
time drenched me with old age, my hands beginning to tremble my
mind forgetting more and more of those memories of my youth,
i refresh myself, i get this clip and pinch myself, i remember
i am still alive, and that is luck enough, a friend of mine just died today,
cardian arrest,
and i am trying to do some little thinking, what if i will be next?
i am finite, i pinch myself some more, some more, some more.....
till i turn blue, till i bleed, who cares?

Your Eyes
(written by natalie cole)
Do you realize that I could see the windows of the world through your eyes?
Pretty eyes
(da, da, da, da, da, da, da)
(your eyes)
Your eyes that (da, da, da, da, da, da)
Mesmorize and hypnotize
(la, la, da, la, da, da, da)
(your eyes)
(da, da, da, da)
They can tell no lies
Hm, little adelines, (da, da, da, da, da, da)
Youre so fine
(your eyes)
(da, da, da, da, la, la)
Even your wrinkles shine
(even your wrinkles shine)
Pretty, pretty eyes. uh
(your eyes)
(da, da, da, da, da, da)
Pretty, pretty eyes, uh
Da, da
Your so fine; I just hope theres time
cause your eyes are so kind
I feel like theyre a friend of mine
Although theres pain behind
And its so far away
But they just seem to say
Its okay, cause the rain must fall every now and then
But oh, ho, ho
Everythings gonna be alright again
(there goes that smile again)
There goes that smile again
The one that shines through Ill defend
Never have I seen eyes like yours
That smile much better than any I know
(even your wrinkles shine)
Even your wrinkles shine
(your eyes that smile are fine)
Wont you stay awhile
Wont you look through me
So I can be what you see
Youre so fine
(your eyes)
(la, da, da, da, da, da...)
Your eyes are so kind
(la, da, da)
(your eyes)
I never would have known
It never would have shown
That you were blind

Finally You Always Find Yourself Alone
it is a fact of your life
you marry
and have children
and grandchildren
and years pass by
leaving you
with wrinkles and
arthritis
bones that crack
and a brain that
does not remember
recent things
anymore
finally you find yourself alone
in your room
for they too shall find life
of their own
even your wife
has to struggle with her thoughts
and then you begin
to find
the company of God
as something
missing
long been missing
your hands are empty
your heart so hollow
you find yourself back to
where you once began
a cry and then
the silence and the sigh
now,
back to the entrance
and then
the most awaited
exit door
light slipping on the
holes of the wall inside
a dark room
ah, you are in a monologue
the air listens
like a vacuum inside a glass
less dramatic
but should be with
more glory, perhaps...

0032From Shankara on the Chandogya Upanishad 8.1.1
Inside the body
is a little place.
you could say that
this is like a lotus
for it floats on the surface of the waters of life
and opens its petals to the heavens,
rejoicing to be alive.
or you could say that
it is like a house
for it is where you return for rest and re-creation
within the love of family,
within the safety of its walls.
or you could say that
it is like a city
for it has a palace and a treasury, and many officers
such as mind and intellect
to fulfil its needs.
yet within that little place,
a space,
as large as the universe itself.
we should know about that space.
within it are comprehended
the heavens and the earth;
the elements, sound, air, fire, light, water, all that’s underfoot
that arises from the earth, returns to dust;
whatever is, and what is not;
all in that little space
which because it is space
is unbounded.
it does not age with age,
with wrinkles nor gray hair, nor
with forgetful mind;
beyond all sorrows, since sorrow comes
from separation;
free to have desires,
since it satisfies all desires
and lives in its own satisfaction;
that satisfaction, they call bliss – what else?
you need not seek outside for this;
all this is in your heart.

Observations.
Observations
I think that I may never see.
A hippo in a kimono.
I rather think that it would be
a rarity in Tokyo.
Nor do I expect to see
gorillas wearing pink tutus.
Because it seems apparently.
They’re not what a great ape would choose
But I have seen humans dressed
just as inappropriately.
In their attempts to look their best.
But sadly they fail miserably.
I think perhaps you will agree.
That some have flair and some do not
There are some things I’d like to see
but many more I’d rather not.
Aging mutton dressed as lamb.
Is something I see frequently.
Some women do not give a damn
What others think it’s plain to see.
You can’t hold back much less erase.
The signs that living leaves behind
The lines and wrinkles on your face.
I do not mean to be unkind.
Why is it that you can’t accept
The fact that you are growing old.
And creams and lotions won’t protect
Despite the lies that you are told.
By advertisements that promise to
make you look younger than you are.
You know quite well they are not true.
Cosmetics only go so far.
Accept your lines and wrinkles show
You have attained maturity
and you are wise enough to know.
How to dress appropriately.

Travel to the place...
Travel to the place
Where mind set to peace,
No one can see,
Feel us free.
Travel to the place
Where we can breathe,
Fill our desire,
We wish; we aspire.
Travel to the place
Where we have silence,
Flower of fragrance,
And nature to admire.
Travel to the place
Where we can write,
Lines of rhyme,
At any time.
Travel to the place
Where we have enough space,
Work without race,
No tension on face.
Travel to the place
Where we can dance,
Sing at glance,
Bit of time to romance.
Travel to the place
Where we spread love,
Freedom to serve
And land to move.
Travel to the place
Where we can live,
Of joy and sprinkle its grace,
And do anything, anywhere.

Einsein's Magic
If I can by the weight of my mind
affect the frequencies between
you and I
and mere proximity
can gravitationally
bend light and the space between
you and I
approaching
each with smooth intents
then we each
exhibit Einstein.
If space and time bend
due to our mental fields
and our mutual gravities
then what we all suspect
was proven true
by the theory of general relativity.
Thus, everything by extension
is indeed connected to everything
because a ripple in the time-space
continuum passes all along the fabric
to it's furtherest corners.
But what is practicable from all of this;
what meanings can we draw?
Well, one is the possibility that if
we find a way to amplify the effect
upon the fabric from our individual
effects upon it-
our individual signatures so to speak-
we have just defined
the very definition of Magic.
To be clear:
If gravity
alters time and space
then the apple does not fall to the ground
the apple is pulled down by the time and space
surrounding it which get altered by the gravity of objects.
Humm, look at it this way:
Take a bed-sheet, put a marble in the middle
shift the bed-sheet and the marble moves because
you have altered the fabric of time space which the
bed-sheet represents.
Now think further:
You and I have a small amount of gravitational pull
as well thus, individually, we too alter time-space
albeit very slightly in this bedsheet world;
and thereby affect everything and each other.
From this is born Einsteinian magic
which is the ability to bend time-space
transmitted through frequencies which are
generated by motion and movement in the time-
space continuum.
I promise you all of this is true
and is the basis of all magic
mine Einsteins and yours..

Do not leave me
Do not leave me in this world without you.
You are woven through the fabric of my life.
If you abandon me I will unravel
slowly,
thread
by thread,
until I am nothing but holes.
How then will I continue when so much of me is missing?

The age alone does not contribute
Wisdom would grow with age, like wrinkles
Only when the stuff was good in the first place..
Wine would improve with the age, it’s true,
Provided the grapes were good in the first place.

Beauty And Character
As graces fade, and praise speaks oft no more,
To mirrors, dimmed for face, of erstwhile glow;
Beholders now belie, the sight before,
Which they were known, to have professed to know;
For Charm would ebb, as seawards flow the tide,
Where stony coast, would show its dried up coves,
When marks of Time, it no longer could hide,
And what frailty, that beauty is, it proves.
But Character accumulates with time;
Though fools fussed over looks Time stole, the wise
Seeks no ambrosia to prolong his prime,
Or shun wrinkles that etch Beauty's demise;
...Should Wrinkles squeal: 'Time's the thief! Time's the thief! '
...Character would say: 'Time farms in my fief.'

In life and death
We will meet and we shall meet
the darkest day of our lives
For time moves on till a mirror reflects
For time doesn't stop neither for life nor death
Beauty and joy, wrinkles of pain
in life and time may remain a stain
Neither diamonds nor gold can stop its flow
for in life and death time will never move slow
For on the darkest day
of our flag, time will not lag
In repent or joy, time will show its stealth
for time neither mourns for life nor death
