Cluster of Sighs

Can you show other talents you have,
Besides lust?
Is lust an avenue you pave with glory?
If you were to trade your skills,
For something that did not rust from age...
Would you wish to save your craft,
To leave behind 'something' to grasp
That is everlasting to hold onto and cherish?
Or would you choose to produce thrills,
Eventually to lose their youthful luster?
And they will.
Not even a cluster of sighs,
Will avoid your sagging thighs!
Not even with the aid of mascara,
Could you keep wrinkles away...
Or chase,
From having a festival on your face!
And I know you wish to leave behind,
More than fading goodtimes to trace,
With a feeble memory!
And who do you know will be around,
To remember those?
Perhaps you are like so many...
Who dismiss life as something owed?
And not a treasure to embark,
To leave your mark upon!
Something found that someone finds,
That defines your life...
As having meaning and worth!
Besides particles of dirt,
Or burnt ash to be described as dust.
There has to be 'something' concrete
You would like to leave behind...
Other than lust that has been polished!
