On Independence Day? Hey-
Freedom fighters cry…

Independence Day
One electrified eye
Freezing metalized smile
No more cheating the code
The scene is set - emotions disconnected
Welcome to the cyber trail
Laser cops and sirens wail
Held down with magnetic force
Said: come with us - you broke the law
Obey the rules - dont do no wrong
A thought too loud - and crime is done
No appeal for the common man
Just cold hard facts - in computer land
All freedom burns on eternal fire
Theres no more independence day
Forever gone never have another
No other independence day
Cyborg arms put the straps around
One more second till the switch comes down
Flaching lights - a cage of steel
Turns my head into a dead dogs meal
In this world - robotic rage
Youll understand the acid pain
Do no right - you wont last long
Remote controlled - under the heel of submission
All freedom burns on eternal fire
Theres no more independence day
Forever gone never have another
No other independence day
No remorse - for human kind
No recourse - to keep your mind
Its too late - theres no escape
Is this the end of the line
All freedom burns on eternal fire
Theres no more independence day
Forever gone never have another
No other independence day
All freedom burns on eternal fire
Theres no more independence day
Forever gone never have another
No other independence day
No use for humanity
Well never ever be free again
No tomorrows

Romance With Democracy - 3
The freedom fighters cherished Romance
With the concept of liberty and independence
Compelled the Brits to liberate India,
We attained freedom in our own myopia.
Political freedom was the romantic dose
The new found notion was too much close
To our aspirations, dreams for future
That laid foundation for incoming disasters.
The rights bestowed by democratic polity
Greedily we usurped forgetting the duties
Imposed by it on subjects as the sacrilege
We only wanted to derive its full previlage.
Romance of Politician-criminal in nexusits bloom
Endangered democracy, polity of our dreams.

It Is Now Night In Syria
It is now night in Syria!
And i pray that the freedom of the people;
Oh, freedom fighters! !
Fight on for your freedom,
For this world needs peace than the bullets of war!
As i see fallen faces gone too soon.
Shot and killed by the bullets of war,
Because my people asked for freedom;
Yes, this world is really not at rest! !
But, let us hope for peace everywhere;
For, it is now night in syria.

Freedom fighters
Freedom is a must, and not to be discussed,
freedom is for all whether your tall or small,
freedom is for thoses with abilities and for thoses with disabilites,
freedom is for the black and for the white
so freedom fighters its time to unite,
so live and let live.

Sometimes I Pray
Sometimes I pray before I sleep;
Sometimes I pray, the lord; my soul to keep,
Sometimes I pray.....
Sometimes I pray in the morning;
Sometimes I pray for those in mourning,
Sometimes I pray.....
Sometimes I pray for rain;
Sometimes I pray for nomore pain,
Sometimes I pray.....
Sometimes I pray before i eat;
Sometimes I pray for good bread and meat,
Sometimes I pray.....
Sometimes I pray, my baby; that you'll stay;
But only sometimes for these things do I pray,
For I talk to my Lord everyday...

I Had A Friend I Met So Long Ago
i met him in the hills ago
for he was a freedom fighter like me
he was shot in the river by the forces
of the dictator and his blood
flood all over the waters of the land
until the sea turned
crimson
until the sunset turned
scarlet
he did not die
he lives in the lives of more freedom fighters
and every sound of the gun
sounds his name
and every song of the rain
sings his life
and every end of the day
starts a new dawn
for this democracy

Universal Freedom Is......
Freedom from hunger and freedom from pain
freedom from loss and so freedom from gain.
Freedom to give and freedom to share
freedom from want and that of despair.
Freedom to think and freedom to know
freedom to achieve and freedom to grow.
Freedom from bondage and freedom of liberation
freedom from ignorance and any unknown situation.
Freedom to come and freedom to leave
freedom to stay and freedom to conceive.
Freedom from struggle and freedom of ease
freedom to enjoy and the capacity to please.
Freedom from failure and freedom of success
freedom from denial and freedom of access.
Freedom from illusion and freedom of reality
freedom to become what we are in actuality.
Freedom to live and freedom to die
freedom to laugh and freedom to cry.
Freedom to speak and freedom to listen
freedom to act based on a wise decision.
Freedom from hate and freedom of love
freedom of below and freedom of above.
Freedom of the past and freedom of the present
freedom of the future and what it can represent.
Freedom from war and freedom of peace
freedom to begin and freedom to cease.
Freedom from sickness and freedom of health
freedom from poverty and mishandled wealth.
Freedom from wrong and freedom being right
freedom of the day and freedom of the night.
Freedom to choose and freedom to reject
freedom to imagine what there is to expect.
Freedom from lust and freedom from greed
freedom from anger and freedom from breed.
Freedom from jealousy and freedom from pride
freedom from within and freedom from outside.
Freedom of always not having anything to hide.
Freedom from space and also freedom from time
freedom from attachment and freedom from crime
Freedom to work and freedom to play
freedom to believe and freedom to pray.
Freedom to experience a rebirth someday.
Freedom from the body and freedom from the mind
freedom from the ego and freedom from being blind.
Freedom of transcendence being of the spiritual kind.
Universal freedom is eternal and infinite bliss
we should all therefore be able to realise this.

Freedom and Beauty
It is a beautiful mind to feel free.
It is a beautiful feeling to set someone free.
Freedom is the hard statement to get.
Freedom is the only feeling to get.
*
Freedom is the statement that shows your independence.
Freedom is the power that shows your right.
But while speaking of almost 7 billion individuals on the earth
At least 7 billion needs and rights that might complicate their life.
*
Showing his independence might be more important for some people.
Feeling responsible for others may be more important for other people.
*
To be honest with you, i never felt free,
Because I didn’t know what it is.
After I realized what freedom is,
I saw how hard to recognize that you are free.
^
How hard to know that you are free to live.
How hard to know that you are free to speak.
How hard to know that you are free to love and trust.
How hard to know that you are free to be loved and trusted.
^
That what you have in your everyday life, is your freedom.
This is not just everyday schedule, that’s your freedom.
How blind are we to not see how free we are.
How ugly is it to not see how beautiful freedom is.
^
Freedom is beautiful, but hard to see.
Freedom is beautiful, but hard to feel.

Happy Fourth Of July!
Dawn was grey, overcast, this Independence Day
A comment on how we treat independence and freedom now?
The freedom of the wolves to live, the polar bears to thrive
The freedom of a conflicted people to fight for the government they choose
Without the boots of our young men and women insisting on our choice
You can have the kind of freedom we dictate
As long as you do it our way, we will be your kindly uncle
We will smile and pat you gently on your head
Until you choose a way different from your kindly uncle's demands
Then the boots will return to stomp you into our way
Happy Fourth of July!
I would like to stand and sing The Star Spangled Banner
And know it was a salute to how we got our freedom
To watch the flag pass by and feel proud of our way of life
Today it seems only to mean we are in charge controlling others

Freedom (In Answer To Willem Fransman (Junior)
The old man walks his long way to freedom,
or so says his book
and everywhere there is only hatred, resentment and tons of regret
there is a freedom that I am still searching for in my life
and in a house that is barred like a prison I have got to hide,
I have got to wait on armed reaction and not the police,
when freedom fighters wants to spend time in my life;
coming for their historically qualified enrichment
while the country about me falls to disrepair, becomes third worldly
when I and my family and friends are not free
and there is something terribly wrong with this freedom
while the new freedom comes to the meaning:
of robbery, rape, murder and torture
as things that this new freedom brings.

La Guerre Day
At dawn, gunfire woke everyone in Bor
The first bullet of bullets bulleted
And more bullets rained as rain rained
The blood streamed as a stream streamed
The bodies littered on roads as dung
The first martyr of martyrs martyred
The first wounded of wounded wounded
The first survivor of survivors survived
No mouths tested anything that day
The water smelled blood
The food smelled corpse
The blackest day in the history of this nation
The whitest day in the history of this nation
The saddest day in the history of this nation
The happiest day in the history of this nation
The end of slavery, the beginning of freedom
A black day for oppressors
A white day for the oppressed
A sad day for the oppressors
A happy day for the oppressed
The action of 105 Battalion on
La Guere Day – May 16th,1983
Began the beginning of Liberation, Independence, Culture and Identity not greedy indisciplinary salary demand as desert cocaine intoxicated men claimed. May 16th began the birth of SPLA Patriotic and gallant fighters whom 105 soldiers told “If it kills us, it’s called our land”.
The SPLA fighters took the word as slogan
They fought to achieve justice for all

Freedom!
Freedom, an arm,
To arm the unarmed.
A desire, never been truth,
Always remained in books.
Freedom, a word,
To word the wordless,
An inspiration, never cared,
Always remained in feeling.
Freedom, a dream,
To dream the dreamers.
A taste, never felt,
Always played hide and seek.
Freedom, a fight,
To fight the fighters.
A cry, never exist,
Always lied in sighs.
There is no freedom.
There is no free land,
There is no free man.
There is only a cry,
There is only a reflection,
Only a word out of eternity.
Freedom....

This winter3
The air is overcast and grey
and the cold chills with the rain
and the end of our love cuts right through me.
The winter rain is unusual
for this time of year,
but just so is the decision
that you are finished with me.
There is fog
that folds around me this morning
and my life is just as grey
that I am goalless looking for you
without finding you
or getting direction at all.
Could independence and freedom
have such an impact on you,
is that you are prepared
to lie our love
down in a tomb?

Are we really free?
Freedom, a state of mind,
Freedom, an illusion,
Freedom, a nonsense of lunatic
Until it is spiritual.
As long as we are slaves of
Our petty self-interests,
Our prejudice,
And our false ego,
We are not free.
We may celebrate the festival of freedom Hundred times,
We are still slaves.
The Independence Day marks
Material freedom
not
the spiritual one.
Unless we are spiritually free,
We are like sheep devoid of sentiments.
