Underwhelmed

Underwhelmed,
And removing the wind...
Huffed up by puffed chests.
Those excited by conflict...
Find themselves looking quite perplexed.
They had prepared to go into battle,
With one who bragged but lacked experience.
And when the fight began...
Scriptures were recited.
People were invited to sing hymns.
What kind of struggle is this,
With no weapons used to defend?

Underwhelmed,
And removing the wind...
Huffed up by puffed chests.
Nothing like this has ever happened before!
Who wins with no weapons used or shown?
And with no bodies to count or collect...
What victory is this?
With no killing done for peace.
Or the gushing of blood to bleed and reflect!

Put Down Your Weapons!

Put down your weapons...
And the ammunition fed,
To spread your hatred!

On whose souls do you believe,
Are crushed to bleed as you succeed...
In what?
To do what for who and why?
The selling of an advance life...
To live in a living hell to dwell?
To raise more of it as you see fit?

Put down your weapons.
What peace is received by depleting the Earth?
With a mental disease perceiving a self worth.
What is it you think is being achieved?
In an atmosphere of religious differences...
With falsities conceived
To reveal racist contempt!
From misconceived interpretations meant,
To explore your won destruction?

To allow a rise to the top to breathe,
Hollow victories...
That leaves a quality of life left to bleed.
To say there has been 'something' conquered.

Put down your weapons!
Confess your digressions.
Put down your weapons!
At let God restore your mind...
To a peace you say you fight to find.

Put down your weapons.
Or all life once known,
Will be left behind to rot to dust...
From which the Earth it came!
Before your selfishness grew to be shown!
To display your degradations?

Last chance!

PUT
DOWN
YOUR
WEAPONS

Put them down!
And learn from past lessons.
They are all around.
With everyone trying to prove themselves,
The greatest of fools!

My Breath

I huffed and puffed
and saw my breath
flying through the air.
I saw it through the cold of winter
but then it went somewhere.
A part of me was traveling
on a journey all its own.
And as it was inhaled by others
I knew how much I'd grown.
I had made a connection
with othersI don't know
just by huffing and puffing
and letting my breath go.
I wondered whose breath
I just breathed in
and if we'd ever meet?
For it might be the breath
of a genuine soul
or one filled with deceit.

What is the only provocation that could bring about the use of nuclear weapons? Nuclear weapons. What is the priority target for nuclear weapons? Nuclear weapons. What is the only established defense against nuclear weapons? Nuclear weapons. How do we prevent the use of nuclear weapons? By threatening the use of nuclear weapons. And we can't get rid of nuclear weapons, because of nuclear weapons. The intransigence, it seems, is a function of the weapons themselves.

Punishable Bad Elements

The king / the ruler / justice who punishes
by killing / hanging the bad elements
after confirmation of the crime is justified;

It is similar to an agriculturist removing weeds
for the best yield of the cropful field!

(Punishable bad elements are those
who create nuisance to others;

by immolating others with fire,
by poisoning, killing by weapons,
burglers, highway robbery and dacoity,
and illegal contact with others' wife!)

3 B.06 Achievement Of Peace

Peace - the desire of every society,
Got not through war intermittingly,
Nor fear or weakness overwhelmingly,
But by pure will of peace of humanity.

Peace not an absence of war be,
It a virtue, a state of mind but be,
A disposition for benevolence truly,
Lying in confidence and justice only.

Peace ever always beautiful does be,
Not for oil, gold or interest of society,
Peace without moral purpose brief be,
If lacking human interest unattained be.

A war can not be won by any society,
But peace can be got by humanity,
Its success not by shunning conflict be,
But by removing causes of poverty.

By removing intolerance and oppression,
Ignorance, injustice and discrimination,
Envy, anger, pride, avarice and ambition,
With understanding and proper education.

War and Peace

'There is in this world that eternal battle'
the General said
'between Good and Evil.

There can be no compromise;
each nation needs living space
and those who follow Evil
will not hesitate
to take yours
and that means,
some of the time,
War.

War is the ultimate expression
of Evil vs. Good
and inevitable.'

Peace spoke:
War is for those who profit from War
and every war ends in Peace
and diplomacy,
Why not skip the destruction and killing
save human lives
and go straight to the Peace?

Nation-State spoke:
Ah, you Peace forget War
is more than the interval between
the Peace
because War decides which people
will be free
and which people will be oppressed.
Peace you misunderstand;
soldiers fight to preserve their country-mens' lifestyles
their families
and those five dollar lattes.

Ah, indeed in War and Peace
someone wins
and someone loses' Nation-State said.

Peace spoke:
Well, Nation-State, that used to be true
but not anymore.
Nuclear holocaust has no winners,
only losers.

A radioactive planet
where no one can live
for a thousand years
is not victory
but massive defeat for everyone.
.
Nothing to celebrate.

You '
Peace said
to the General
'cannot fulfill your main mission
which is to protect the population.
The foe you fight can blow up
all of their nuclear weapons
and the fall out will drift and kill
the rest of us
without even an attack.

You soldiers have to learn new tricks.
You can't really protect us.

All that is gone. You have to retire that side-gun
and sit at the diplomat's table.

'Peace 'Peace said'
has come to depend upon successful social ecology
and restraining those who would have us kill ourselves
in order to preserve our lives.

War of any kind is abhorrent. Remember that since the end of World War II, over 40 million people have been killed by conventional weapons. So, if we should succeed in averting nuclear war, we must not let ourselves be sold the alternative of conventional weapons for killing our fellow men. We must cure ourselves of the habit of war.

There Is Nothing Like An Observation

How I know today times have changed?

People no longer laugh,
When they believe they have those 'things'...
That those who have not will never get!

Now today those who did not 'have',
What others 'had' and laughed...
Are less concerned,
About having their 'things' repossessed.
Like those with their noses,
High above their puffed up chests.

Or having their precious pretentions devalued,
Like those who used the have nots...
To validate the purpose of their foolishness.

How I know today times have changed?
There is nothing like an observation,
That details a bringing to another their reality.

If I Could Be The Wind

I want to be the wind blowing in forest playing their own song.
I want to be the wind bringing smiles for farmers.
I want to be the wind bringing rain, helping fireman in his hardest time.
I want to be the wind assisting plant to expand their kingdom.
I want to be the wind smoothly blowing over the sea and bringing fisherman home safely.
I want to be the wind covering the thing which ought to be left in past.
I want to be the wind clearing the mind of those with agony
I want to be the wind blowing in summer and tending to those without shelter.
I want to be the wind which bring happiness to the children taking their kite high up in the sky.
I want to be the wind removing clouds of torment and allowing sun to lay down its vital warmth.
I want to be the wind which remove thorn from path and help people to move forward.
I want to be the wind helping bird to take their first flight.
I want to be the wind which leaves versifier rapt giving him his divine words
I want to be the wind blowing all over place bringing happiness to people and vanishes stealthily, unnoticed.
I WANT TO BE THE WIND…

Underwhelmed

Keep expecting so much
Seeing little in return
Desperate for the deeper moments
Begin to see them slowly burning down
I see them slowly burning down
Needing meaning in this
Heavy day I seem to bear
Everything comes into question
Lessons learned just seem to tear apart
They seem to tear apart
And I am underwhelmed again
Wanting more than you are giving
Underwhelmed again
Is there more that I am seeing
You promised me so much when
We began to walk this way
You said we'd change the world together
But now it seems we're nowhere further on
It seems we're nowhere further on
There must be more
Much more than this
Please show me more
At the lowest low now
Thinking I should can it all
Needing breakthrough from the nothing
But remembering the call
Where it really started
Hearing fresh your voice again
Something calling me to press on
Seeing you again
I'm bowing down
I'm bowing down
And I am overwhelmed again
I hear your voice still calling for me
Overwhelmed again
Remembering all you've made for me
Overwhelmed again
Not deserving all you're giving
Overwhelmed again
Another chance at truly living

Victory will be surely theirs

Victory will be surely theirs.
Without victory they will never get back
their lost homes.

Victory will be surely theirs.
For, without victory they will never be able
to sleep with their loved ones by their side.
In the middle of the night every tanks
will encircle their refugee camps,
snatch their adolescent boys and girls
from their mothers’ shelter,
bind their eyes and take them away.

Unless victory is theirs
the enemy’s insolent legs will go on kicking
their most revered old women.
Their ill fated children won’t be able to stop
the enemy’s bullets even by hiding themselves
behind their fathers’ broad chests.

Victory will be surely theirs
for they are not afraid
of the enemy’s hundreds of killer weapons,
their most modern bomber planes,
the earth quake like holocaust
hundreds of corpses of their kith and kin.

They are not afraid of the western power’s
military might,
and, so, victory will be surely theirs.

In order to teach the enemy a proper lesson
they fling their own lives like a grenade
into the enemy camp.
And, so, victory will be surely theirs.

There is no other desire in their limbs
other than that of self sacrifice
and the destruction of their enemy.
No battle formation of the enemy
can throttle that desire.

They throw away their lives like paltry pebbles
into the waters of death.
Their souls, in a frenzy for freedom,
fly upwards like blazing fireworks
towards the Great Freedom,
learning behind life’s eternal truth.

Bring You Down To Hell

The demons are coming after you
In the night ready to fight
Always cruel with hate in their mind
Promise you that they will get you
You're trying to hide with fear in your eyes
Hoping that nobody see's you
If they should know where you are
I'm sure that they will torture you
I hope that you, you are prepared
Take all the weapons you can
If you are not ready to fight
I'll think that you'd better run
When you're walking in the night
You should always be prepared
They can strike right here right now
And bring you down to Hell
to Hell
You're running away with no place to stay
The demons can almost reach you
You hear that someone is shouting your name
You think for yourself what you should do
You're trying to hide with fear in your eyes
Hoping that nobody see's you
If they should know where you are
I'm sure that they will torture you
I hope that you, you are prepared
Take all the weapons you can
If you are not ready to fight
I'll think you'd better run
When you're walking in the night
You should always be prepared
They can strike right here right now
And bring you down to Hell
to Hell
When you're walking in the night
You should always be prepared
They can strike right here right now
And bring you down to Hell
I hope that you, you are prepared
Take all the weapons you can
If you are not ready to fight
I'll think you'd better run
When you're walking in the night
You should always be prepared
They can strike right here right now
And bring you down to Hell

The Path to War

Your weapons I see with their ammunition,
How does this weapon differ?

Your way is for fellowship and struggle,
A path is ahead of us too fixed.

Let nobody attack, nor defend themselves
From your attacks so obliterating.

The guns and bullets come streaming,
With traitors in a search for their freedom.

What does the gun mean?
It meant war was a pathway to victory.

The Battle of Life

Up! and arm for life's struggle,
We shall conquer in the fight,
If we arm us for the battle
With the weapons Truth and Right;
Though the world's arrayed against us,
We will shrink not from the strife,
For invincible is duty
On the battlefield of life.

In the vanguard of the battle
Foremost comes our foeman Sin,
Like a giant in his prowess,
With an aspect stern and grim.
But, though mighty in his power
We'll preserve a dauntless air,
And we'll fight this dreaded foeman
'Neath the sturdy shield of prayer.

Next is Poverty approaching,
Weapons sure and sharp she wears,
And she's backed by thronging thousands -
By a countless host of cares.
Still, this terrible invader
We'll repel with robust health,
And with energy and labour
Soon we'll win the ally Wealth.

Every step is fraught with struggle,
Cares full armed our path oppose;
Hopes are falling fast around us;
Wounded are we, too, by woes.
Yet our courage must not falter,
We must fight Care hand to hand;
Other hopes will soon support us
If we firmly take our stand.

In the sorried ranks of batte,
With the flag of Right unfurled,
Let our well-tried virtues make us
Victors ever in the world.
Noble to the things we fight for!
Glorious be the deeds we do!
Foeman to the false and evil,
Champions of the good and true!

Fight we as God's soldiers bravely,
Let us conquor by his might;
His Almighty arms shall aid us
Ever in the cause of right,
Fight on to life's last moments,
Faith at last shall conquer death:
Dying - still we'll shout in triumph,
'Victory' with our last drawn breath.

Onward, then, to dare the struggle,
Though we fall upon the field;
Better be struck down in battle,
Than like cowards tamely yield.
Shrink not from the stern encounter,
Duty ever strength supplies;
And from every fall we meet with,
Anteus-like, we'll stronger rise.

You Remained A Coward Till The End

You claim you're hunting but you're killing for fun,
Hunted animals are rarely eaten,
I have no chance against the force of a gun,
You know you have me beaten.

When you've killed me you'll stand over me proud,
Arrogant is the word I prefer,
Butchering me this way should not be allowed,
With no weapons you wouldn't dare.

If you think you're so brave come to my land,
But leave all your weapons behind,
Use your God given skills with nothing underhand,
Then we'll see how your species is defined.

To fight one on one which you claim is fair,
Is a subject on which we won't disagree?
With no weapons allowed we can then prepare,
To find out who the victor will be?

Our problem is you don't play by the rules,
You'll do almost anything to win,
Without barbaric weapons you are the fools,
So we'll now let the battle begin.

After hours of stalking you out of sight,
I now decide it's time to attack,
I‘ll let you feel the full force of my might,
Your despair shows you've been taken aback.

As I am about to maul you to death,
I can see you're completely distraught,
As I hesitate to watch your final breath,
Suddenly out rings a shot.

As I lie here dying I see cowardice in your eyes,
This challenge you knew you would lose,
With the rules of decency a human never complies,
Where you go chaos always ensues.

You tell me you're sorry but it's far too late,
In the background with a gun was your friend,
It was he not you who's left me to my fate,

Battle

It is time to fight.

For the battle has go on too long.

Don't worry I am ready.

For I will have my weapons with me.

No, not a gun or a bow and arrow to kill my enemy,

But with my heart and will to get better.

For I know this battle won't be an easy victory because

The journey to get to this point has been a hard one.

But if everything else fails I will still have an army.

For my friends and loved ones are battling with me.

Until I win back my land of happiness.

Peace and Conflict

Peace is laughter ike a musical bell,
Conflict is people crying,
Peace is everything being well,
Conflit is people dieing,
Peace is a very wonderful thing,
Conflict can be used t pursue peace,
Peace is a sound that makes you sing,
Conflict is the least luxurious thing,
Peace is sought after
And sometimes found,
Confit is punishment,
Paying the price,
Peace is being on safe ground,
Conflict makes people with heart of ice,
Peace you find in your heart,
Conflict tears our minds apart,
So remember these words and you'll live well,
Peace is laughter like a musical bell...
