The First Step....

perhaps rather than
bombing a country's
nuclear sites,
or their troops deployed,
or their airstrips...

maybe, just maybe,
we should try removing
the gun from their hearts...

and the first step
is removing it from ours!

I think one has to say it's not just simply a matter of capturing people and holding them accountable, but removing the sanctuaries, removing the support systems, ending states who sponsor terrorism. And that's why it has to be a broad and sustained campaign.

Pillars Of Peace

Pillars offering praise to longings
Stand in the way, removing and refusing.
Remind them for their work on medicine,
Longer to shut down, long hearts will drop.
Remaster the logic of a forgotten day,
The steeple forgets us as it looms above.
Step to it, step to it, like a dancer of course,
Steep pathways deliver and bring peace.

Magic

Magic,
Can attract.
To...
Keep one mesmerized,
All their lives.
And...
Without a fantasizing it,
To...
Hynotize for somebody's,
Benefit.

Magic...
Will attract.
And...
Keep one seeking to stay hook,
As if it was a drug to eat and cook.

A magic!
Whether black or white,
Is a magic...
To not be denied,
As magic...
From another place.
Removing everything taken once for granted.

It's magic!
Whether black or white,
Is a magic...
To not be denied,
As magic...
From another place.
Removing everything one took for granted.

It's magic,
From another place.
Removing everything taken once for granted.
It's magic!
Whether black or white,
And removing everything to clear one's eyes.

Magic...
Will attract,
A magic!
Whether black or white,
Is a magic...
To not be denied,
As magic...
From places unseen.
And removing false things people claim to dream.

Magic...
Will remove things seen people always take for granted.
A magic...
Will remove false things people claim to dream.
A magic...
Will remove things seen people always take for granted.
It's magic...
That removes false things people claim to dream.

It's magic...
That removes things seen people always take for granted.

Magic...
Will remove false things people claim to dream.
A magic...
Will remove things seen people always take for granted.
It's magic...
That removes false things people claim to dream.

Underwhelmed

Underwhelmed,
And removing the wind...
Huffed up by puffed chests.
Those excited by conflict...
Find themselves looking quite perplexed.
They had prepared to go into battle,
With one who bragged but lacked experience.
And when the fight began...
Scriptures were recited.
People were invited to sing hymns.
What kind of struggle is this,
With no weapons used to defend?

Underwhelmed,
And removing the wind...
Huffed up by puffed chests.
Nothing like this has ever happened before!
Who wins with no weapons used or shown?
And with no bodies to count or collect...
What victory is this?
With no killing done for peace.
Or the gushing of blood to bleed and reflect!

3 B.06 Achievement Of Peace

Peace - the desire of every society,
Got not through war intermittingly,
Nor fear or weakness overwhelmingly,
But by pure will of peace of humanity.

Peace not an absence of war be,
It a virtue, a state of mind but be,
A disposition for benevolence truly,
Lying in confidence and justice only.

Peace ever always beautiful does be,
Not for oil, gold or interest of society,
Peace without moral purpose brief be,
If lacking human interest unattained be.

A war can not be won by any society,
But peace can be got by humanity,
Its success not by shunning conflict be,
But by removing causes of poverty.

By removing intolerance and oppression,
Ignorance, injustice and discrimination,
Envy, anger, pride, avarice and ambition,
With understanding and proper education.

Erasers

Erasers so pink and perfect
removing all the mistakes and imperfections one has made
banishing anything less than perfect with firm yet soft strokes
leaving no trace of the previous misdoings
except small pink remnants

if only life had its own big pink erasers
taking away all mistakes and imperfections
making it seeming as though-
there was nothing less than perfect

erasers so pink and perfect
removing all the mistakes and imperfections one has made
banishing anything less than perfect
leaving no trace of the previous misdoings
expect small pink remnants

if only life had its own eraser
removing all the mistakes and imperfections one has made
if only life had its own
big
pink
erasers

If You Can...

If you can see the sun shining,
And listen to birds cheerfully chirping,
Seize that harmony in Nature
For it can bring peace to every creature...

If you can face work in bliss
And cause the children's smile,
Enjoy it as a blessed while
For it can bring you peace.

If you can take a sweet word
To those hearts in grievance,
That's peace you are breathing
Helping them with a better living.

If you can avoid troops on the ground,
Deployed for months, years, harshly,
You can feel your country healthy
And people in peace producing more around...

Leech

some thoughts cling sometimes
to our minds like leeches

they are hard to remove
and the more you remove them

or try to pull them and throw them away
for good

the more they stick it out with you
like a deep sorrow

like an insistent sadness like
a persistent disappointment

somehow you always take chances of
finally removing them

for you know what that means
an untimely death

a calendar that crumples the numbers
of the days of the month

you get tired finally removing them one by one
because they also multiply themselves

like leeches too tricky along the banks
of a murky river

then one day you give up
another leech lands on your toes

crawls on your feet to your belly
makes a hole there and prides itself as the new

possessor of your private territory.
you watch without feelings you let it stay

your hands caress them
and your mind rests on the comfort of more pains

like vacant chairs in a vacant room
it is you there alone without any competition.

Dreams of Freedom

Call me what you wish,
I am not the one doing evictions.
Or removing dreams as they exist.

Say whatever you like.
My eyes are not fixed on a high flying kite.
Or riding a bike licking icecream cones.

My observations,
Aren't from the mind of a negative pessimist.
My way of life has not been diminished.
By disconnected insights,
Denying what appears as obvious blight.

It is what it is!
Argue if you like.
But it wont be with me.
My mind is not fixed to delusions like yours.
Nor am I conditioned to dismiss those in pain.
There is nothing in it for me to gain,
To witness others in agony.

Call me what you wish,
I am not the one doing evictions.
Or removing dreams as they exist.

Too many excuses from you allowed this.
And this I see as your denials allowed to breathe.

But I wont permit them to walk on my path.
Nor will you do to me as you please.
As was done in your ancestors past.
Those strategies may work for 'them'.
I'm not feeding on 'dreams of freedom'.
And this I am sure you can plainly see.
Those thoughts don't have their hooks in me.

Starving For A Child

Starving so they do not go hungry
Make sure they have a better life.
A gift to your fellow kin.
We are men.
We got a job to do.
Sometimes it something I wish you knew.
But I know better.
You would do the same.
Can't complain for the all the joy they bring
A child's laugh is heaven on earth,
Forever removing all the misery no how bad things get.
No regrets.
Here every last of my plates.
Dishes I just no longer need to eat.
Surviving on nothing but my own flesh and meat.
With tears in my eyes, I can only hope and wish to see you all grown.
As long as I have you I'll never be alone.

What is the only provocation that could bring about the use of nuclear weapons? Nuclear weapons. What is the priority target for nuclear weapons? Nuclear weapons. What is the only established defense against nuclear weapons? Nuclear weapons. How do we prevent the use of nuclear weapons? By threatening the use of nuclear weapons. And we can't get rid of nuclear weapons, because of nuclear weapons. The intransigence, it seems, is a function of the weapons themselves.

Shaking To Re-Invent To Then Adjust

Never did I ever stand inflexibe.
To prove I had strength against opposing winds.
I remain open to comprehend with a listening.
Hoping that from the doing of this,
There is something I have learned...
That continues to assist my growth process.
And letting nothing stand in the way,
Of my quest to eliminate aged and rusting barriers.

My life is like an earthquake...
Shaking to re-invent to then adjust as a must.
With a removing of that which has grown old,
To then innovate that updates...
Over and over again with renewed appreciation.
Much like the coming and going of each season.

I am not one,
However...
To quote a few passages from a book,
To then believe this protects me...
With a keeping of an ignorance,
I am not ready to rid.
Because to do so would disappoint,
Those upholding fading and outdated traditions.

My life is like an earthquake...
Shaking to re-invent to then adjust as a must.
With a removing of that which has grown old,
To then innovate that updates...
Over and over again with renewed appreciation.
Much like the coming and going of each season.

Part of One's Performance

A falsified existence,
Can not purchase one respect...
OR integrity.
Even the act of removing one's mask,
Is thought to be part of one's performance.
Since the doing of it,
Appears to be a study done...
From a rehearsed premeditation.

A falsified existence allowed to deceive,
Vaingloriously...
In an extravagant self righteousness,
Dances with sadness as a companion.
To then excuse an inability to lead.
Or know anything,
About keeping in step...
With an accepted and established rhythm.

You Know I Couldn't Last

The whispering, May hurt you, But the printed word might kill you
The whispering, May hurt you, But the printed word might kill you So don't let the blue, The blue eyes fool you, They're just gelignite, Loaded and aiming right between your eyes
CDs and T-shirts, promos and God knows, You know I couldn't last, Someone please take me home
The teenagers, Who love you, They will wake up, yawn and kill you
The teenagers, Who love you, They will wake up, yawn and kill you
So don't let the blue, The blue eyes fool you, They're just gelignite, Loaded and aiming right between your eyes
CDs and T-shirts, promos and God knows, You know I couldn't last, Someone please take me home
There's a cash register ringing and, It weighs so heavy on my back, Someone please take me home
The critics who, Can't break you, They somehow help to make you , The critics who, Can't break you, Unwittingly they make you
So don't let the good days, Of the gold discs, Creep up and mug you
With evil legal eagles, You know I couldn't last, Accountants rampant, You know I couldn't last
Every -ist and every -ism, Thrown my way to stay, And the northern leeches go on, Removing, removing, removing
Then in the end, Your royalties bring you luxuries, Your royalties bring you luxuries, Oh but
The squalor of the mind, The squalor of the mind, The squalor of the mind, The squalor of the mind
