My Approach To Life
My approach to life?
Do not overkill the taste of it,
With too much seasoning.
Salt and peppered attitudes...?
I try to stay away from those.
But every now and then,
You may find me experimenting.
However,
The more natural the flavor,
The more appreciative I am.
And I like to pride myself,
On what I digest.
Especially if I can keep manfested,
A more healthier outlook.
And not constipate myself with nonsense.
My approach to life?
Nothing special really.
But I do watch what and how I think!
I like to believe I keep myself regular.
Not too sweet...
And yet not completely meat free either.
I try to maintain a balance.
With a bit of drama.
Lots of humor.
And a slice of mystery every now and then!

I Take the Fork
I take the fork,
And select what I choose to eat.
I sample the vegetables...
To then sip on juice or spring water.
I slice the meat with a knife.
I taste for seasoning.
To see if it pleases.
It does...
And I repeat.
I take the fork,
And select what I choose to eat.
I sample the vegetables...
To then sip on juice or spring water.
I slice the meat with a knife.
I taste for seasoning.
To see if it pleases.
It does...
And I repeat.
I might have dessert,
With coffee.
I use a spoon,
If icecream is served.

That's Rude to Run Away Like That
Having an optimistic outlook,
For one who has made the decision...
To divorce from old wounds,
And the causes for them.
Makes for a renewed approach to life.
With the acceptance of fresh nonsense,
Appearing less of a threat...
Than one attempting a failed mugging.
'I'm sorry, dude.
You caught me on a bad day.
Try me again around the first of the month.
Especially in the morning...
After I've had a cup of,
Hey...
HEY?
That's rude to run away like that.
I wasn't finish explaining.
You are never going to be a good mugger.'

Just A Taste Of Life
what i have in my hand
is a slice of pineapple
it is sweet
its sweetness lingers
in my tongue
and sticks to my brain
it is simply a slice
just a taste of this bigger life
ahead of us
i have another slice
to hand to you
take it
why waste some time
on bitter herbs
and sour grapes?
what i have is just a slice
of sweet pineapple
take it now
it is sweet
what do we have next?
we shall wait and see

Light, Salt and Love
Friend, let the Light God put inside, be a witness that’s not denied.
Witness for The Lord Jesus Christ; a witness of your newfound life.
Friend as you walk through the night, allow others to see your light.
Light received from The Lord above, so that we can share His Love.
A life witness is what men need, when God’s Word they don’t heed,
In our life, these men need to see, the Light of Christ not you or me.
Allow your life be living proof, of the changing power of God’s Truth.
Your walk of Truth may just inspire, men to make Christ their desire.
Is your new life attractive to those, who hear The Word and oppose?
They oppose The Truth you proclaim, refusing to embrace His name.
Every opportunity that we approach, we need to be above reproach,
So we don’t bring the Savior shame, when we witness in His Name.
We are told to be Salt and Light, as witness for men lost in the night.
And salt must maintain its flavor, to draw other men unto The Savior.
It is when the saltiness we lose, that our witness by others is abused.
Friend your salt is only useful then, to be trampled under foot by men.
Love is how all men will know us, and The One we have come to trust.
For it was God’s Love for all men, that sent His Son to be condemned.
Condemned upon a wicked cross; in order to save a world that’s lost.
So allow your love to shine my friend, so Christ can become their end.

But the approach to recording this album was kind of an organized, chaotic approach where I wanted to maintain and preserve that wild abandon to creating.

Life a mystery, not a problem
Life a mystery not a problem
Problem
Is a situation
Which does not allow you
To reach your goal or
To get things done
As per your original schedule
Once perceived as a problem
You make use of your
Knowledge, experience,
Skill and resources
To come over it
And you may reach your goal or
Get your things done
Even if delayed
And even if falling short of
Your expectations
If a situation is perceived as a mystery
It becomes a riddle
Likely you take it more as challenge
Not just a problem solving requirement
You wonder at the
Natural ways of things taking shape
You wonder at the
Variations in the perceptions of
Others and even among people close to you
And very likely you end up
With out-of-the box thinking
And get beyond traditional ways of
Looking at things
You may even set a trend
For new and innovative approach
To the problem, nay mystery
And this mindset will help you
Enjoy living
And expand your knowledge base
With regard to human behavior
And natural laws
Which only shape your future
And carve your life style
Take life as a mystery
And do away with the thinking
That it is a problem

From The Back
The door is slammed from the back
Nothing more is required to be at stake
Life was totally in disarray and completely fake
Remained half sleep always and not fully awake
People often say “life is to be enjoyed at full length”
Someone try it with might and extend with strength
For them it is never dying approach
Life may never end as such
You never know when the exit gate may open
It remains mystery when all of sudden turns against
Life seems worth nothing and useless
All worries suddenly rush on the face
Powerful kings have buckled under threat
When death has tried to approach and meet
It leaves behind tail of unknown agony to bear
All of sudden body is gripped with fear
Who would want to leave this earthly pleasure?
I am very confident and very sure
No one may opt for timely departure
They are ignorant about facts of fixed tenure
Life has to come to an end at any time
You are lucky to escape it sometimes
But you are sure to meet your fate
It may approach you soon or late
Well, this has been explained briefly
It can be understood and known simply
All we do and commit is not to long last
In one way or another it has to end fast
Not all may try to understand in its true context
They may try to avoid under one or another pretext
It is cheating of own conscience and mere excuse
Otherwise who can shut the eyes to reality and refuse?
Life is not all about to be spent or lived
It is to be understood and rightly believed
When you are sent here for performing the best
It should seized as opportunity and crucial test

Take The Lid Off The Pot
Just take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
And savor all the flavor
That's inside of the pot
To then taste what that pot has got
It's been long in simming
With select ingredients
Mouths drool and this is seen
With a stirring up the scent
Eyes are watering with dreams
Now's the time to dip in and get eating
To stop the teasing that was meant
Take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
And savor all the flavor
That's inside of the pot.
To then taste what that pot has got
Delicious is the stew
To satisfy those licking lips
Deliciously it soothes
For those who sit and wish
With a wanting more of it!
Just take that lid off the pot
To savor all the flavor
Take the lid off the pot
Savor all the flavor
Take that lid off the pot
And savor all the flavor
That's inside of the pot
To then taste what that pot has got.
'What's the matter? '
There's none left!
'What are you saying?
What do you mean? '
It's gone
All of it
So
Take those memories you've got
And reminisce those wishes
That was inside that pot
There is not even a drop!

Digestive Darkness And Light
life is a mixture of light, darkness and truth
but are you digested on them?
digest what you see
digest what you feel
digest what you smell
digest what you touch
digest what you eat
digest what you think
digest what you speak
and you will be a truth by yoursekf
but but but but but but but but but
NEVER DIGEST YOUR DREAM
Get Out of The House
Shut up!
Sit down...
And listen!
You did what you had to do!
The throne was never meant for you to sit,
Sprewing tantrums and bad habits forever!
Attempting cleverness...
Believing all your fits should be accepted!
There's nothing great about your approach,
And outlook on life!
Your disasterous plan
Has come from the darkened corners to centerstage!
And the only one appearing to be shocked is you!
Shut up!
Sit down...
And listen!
You and your clan,
Ran on self delusion too long!
You've invaded common sense
With senseless ignorance.
And much of that you sold on people's pride!
That 'downhome' approach
Played enough to scatter rats!
Even they got tired of the lies!
Shut up!
Sit down!
You may have seen yourself,
As a cat who was able to deliver the cheese!
But you are a fool.
And that is a fact!
You and the others
Brought a kingdom to its knees!
And that is treason by any name,
For those whose mindsets have not been diseased...
Or drained by your games!
Shut up!
Sit down...
And listen!
The image of your 'vision' is done!
Collect your ego and history shifting myths.
There's a lot that has to be completed!
And anyone who is sane can see,
You have no brains for it!
Shut up!
Sit down...
And listen!
Get out of the house and go fishin'!

The Mystery Of The Mystery
There are so many things that I dont understand
And I search my mind to try to find an answer
But the more I search the less I seem to find out why
Like where where the wind goes, how does life begin
What happens when we die
The mystery of the mystery must stay unknown
Only God can know and man must not see
Great minds have tried but they will not find
The answer to the mystery of the mystery
Man will seek the mystic rails of the mystery
But their silent halls reveal not a sound
Many men will give their lives just to try to find
The answer to a mystery in their mind
The mystery of the mystery must stay unknown
Only God can know and man must not see
Great minds have tried but they will not find
The answer to the mystery of the mystery

Too Much Food
You can say that Im one curly fry in the box of the regular
Messing with the flavor oh the flavor that you savor
Saving me for last but you better not eat me at all
Living in a fast food bag making friends with the ketchup and salt
People say that Im crazy for not moving on to better things
Instead Im sitting around trash talking with the onion rings
But its much too soon to leave this easy life
Pass me the spoon. pass the analytical knife
Cause your about to get cut and get cut down
Its all about the wordplay all about the sound in the tone of my voice
You gotta let me make my choice alone before my food gets cold
Better shut up or get shot down. it s all about the know how all just a matter of taste
Stop telling me the way I gotta play. too much food on my plate.
Believe it or not I super sized my sights on the surprise in the cereal box
My stomachs smaller than my eyes
So I went to see the doctor and he said turn your head and then cough
I didnt listen to what he said instead I couldnt wait to get off
He said I can have this but I cant have that
That I should keep wishing I was living the life of a cat because
I aint the one whose gonna be missing the feast
Just like you aint the one who seems to be calming the beast
Now your about to get cut and get cut down
Its all about the wordplay all about the sound in the tone of my voice
You gotta let me make my choice alone before my food gets cold
Better shut up or get shot down. it s all about the know how all just a matter of taste
Stop telling me the way I gotta play. too much food on my plate.
Well if you are what you eat in my case Ill be sweet so come and get some
Im so over it.
Now your about to get cut and get cut down
It s all about the know how all just a matter of taste
Stop telling me the way I gotta play. too much food on my plate.
(get up and get some)
Theres too much food on my plate

My Boy
(words & music by claude francois - jean pierre bourtayre - bill martin - phil coulter)
Youre sleeping son, I know
But, really, this cant wait
I wanted to explain
Before it gets too late
For your mother and me
Love has finally died
This is no happy home
But God knows how Ive tried
Because youre all I have, my boy
You are my life, my pride, my joy
And if I stay, I stay because of you, my boy
I know its hard to understand
Why did we ever start?
Were more like strangers now
Each acting out a part
I have laughed, I have cried
I have lost every game
Taken all I can take
But Ill stay just the same
Because youre all I have, my boy
You are my life, my pride, my joy
And if I stay, I stay because of you, my boy
Sleep on, you havent heard a word
Perhaps its just as well
Why spoil your little dreams
Why put you through the hell
Life is no fairytale
As one day you will know
But now youre just a child
Ill stay her and watch you grow
Because youre all I have, my boy
You are my life, my pride, my joy
And if I stay, I stay because of you, my boy

Never a burden
Life was never a burden
Something may occur all of sudden
We continue despite all that even
Life cart is always to be driven
One may be lost or bogged down
It may be wrong on his part or fault of his own
You reap for what you have sown
The tree may also be same way grown
What do we expect then in coming days?
Wait for something unexpected and stay
Or face the challenge in whichever way
It comes and pushes our destination away
Despite all odds we have to maintain
Balance with way of life to sustain
Relation with nature and people around
New bonds with sweet relation is to be found
In each day there is something new
New hope with beautiful eyes to view
Only some art lovers can find and see
Otherwise it is always there and for free
We find everything very near
In our support without any fear
To take a new leaf and start the carrier
Scale the new heights without any barrier
Let us strive for new thinking
Let our ship never face sinking
It must float on the water to time to come
Daily new passengers in it to greet and welcome
Life shall move with some ups and down
We may wear sometimes lovely crown
But mind first it will be our own efforts
We shall be the one sailing boat to the port

How I Approach My Life
I am often reminded,
How the direction of my writing...
Has changed over the years.
And for the life of me,
I can not understand it.
I've done the best I could,
To keep my outlook elementary.
And perhaps it has been my evolving,
Since high school...
That my thought process and experiences,
I had since then...
That I should attribute to my maturity.
What a dilemma!
However...
God knows I am doing the best I can,
Not to be so observant and intelligent...
As to how I approach my life.
But I do keep my fingers crossed,
That my growth process is not that noticeable...
To those choosing to remain in denial,
And become offended by my adult revelations.
Hey,
Who knows?
Maybe I'm just one of those people,
Who refuse to stay limited to perceived expectations.
You know...
Rebellious, arrogant, self confident, honest and forthright!
And...
65 years old.
One would think I should know my place by now?
Huh?

Servants to Endure Unique and Special Sufferings
Attempts to convince God in prayer,
That our distorted outlook of reality...
Is a better point of view to digest,
Than God accepts!
And we stay faithfully,
On our knees making these 'suggestions'.
Leaving those trying to enforce their own beliefs,
Behind.
And stuck stubbornly in a willful distress to manipulate.
Revealing eventual mental and physical distortions.
With an ownership that God has chosen them,
As servants to endure unique and special sufferings!
Choosing to do so as their aspect of free will.
And finding the right scripture to prove their insanities valid.

With tragic calls
Life does not pass of that easily for all
Someone may find in it with tragic calls
No one wants it to be stormy or full of thorns
It may invade at any time without being warned
We are seized with full of future expectations
It is not only future but other questions too
It may be choosing of life partner
Along with me for passing all tests as beginner
I have dreamed of someone as an ideal man
He will take care of me as I have loved him closely as fan
He is not aware of my deep and internal feelings
I shall jump into foray with full willingness
It is life time dream of an honest upcoming female
She has no other option than to seek alliance with male
If that happens as per the choice and as perfect match
Many eyes may try to have glimpses and catch
It is still a mystery and puzzling question
I don’t want to make any of its mention
I just ask my conscious what type of life I would prefer to lead
I think someone may come forward when he has completely read
I have thought of remaining as far as possible a completely loyal
I may not want wedding to be grand or look absolutely royal
As you have remained central figure throughout at heart
I was careful in not beginning distrustful start
It may not come as total surprise
As there is no fixed cost or prize
I have nothing to demand for any union
It is only race for stable life with good companion
We come across lots of promises when likely to enter
The holy alliance and very much focused at the centre
There won’t be any dearth of sweet words
It will be offered in plenty when looking forward
It is not one time affair so that it may come to standstill
There will be enough of meetings with mock drills
So many queries and enquiries to lead to settlement
Very careful approach with avoidance of unnecessary comments
It is life time dream and one definitely takes wow to honor
It will not be simple matter or can be considered as minor
Any girl or boy may move cautiously with possible avoidance of unpleasant things
No one may be prepared for one in million chances for anything
* Life can not be taken as mock drill for future play even with utmost care*

Slice of Life
Taste this.
'What is it? '
A slice of life.
'No.
That's okay.
I'll pass.'
Without tasting,
At least 'some' of it?
'I am watching my diet.
And anymore of it,
Just might produce gas.'
Well...
Who knows.
Maybe this slice of life,
Will help stir up something in you...
That will make us both laugh.
