Salt
the salt i cannot see
makes the food taste
so flavourable
God i cannot see
makes this life so much
worth living
salt is to tongue
as God is to the soul

Taste Or Life?
They say honey is sweeter than wine;
Many say kiss is sweeter than wine!
Some are fond of sweet taste in all;
Many like hot taste in food we eat ever.
Taste is just a flavour of coffee we take;
Tasteless food nobody likes at first ever;
But food for living life cannot be ignored.
Sugar coated pill makes us take medicine;
Just like that taste makes food delicious!
Taste various from person to person ever;
Hence one man's food is another's poison!
So also taste for poetry, novel and articles
Say about one's mind, heart and soul ever;
More than taste food for living is fine ever!

Ode to Salt
This salt
in the salt cellar
I once saw in the salt mines.
I know
you won't
believe me
but
it sings
salt sings, the skin
of the salt mines
sings
with a mouth smothered
by the earth.
I shivered in those
solitudes
when I heard
the voice
of
the salt
in the desert.
Near Antofagasta
the nitrous
pampa
resounds:
a
broken
v oice,
a mournful
song.
In its caves
the salt moans, mountain
of buried light,
translucent cathedral,
crystal of the sea, oblivion
of the waves.
And then on every table
in the world,
salt,
we see your piquant
powder
sprinkling
vital light
upon
our food.
Preserver
of the ancient
holds of ships,
discoverer
on
the high seas,
earliest
sailor
of the unknown, shifting
byways of the foam.
Dust of the sea, in you
the tongue receives a kiss
from ocean night:
taste imparts to every seasoned
dish your ocean essence;
the smallest,
miniature
wave from the saltcellar
reveals to us
more than domestic whiteness;
in it, we taste finitude.

If You Would, Please
Pass the salt dear, if you would, please,
I need to put some on these peas.
But not the pepper, now don’t tease,
you know it always makes me sneeze.
The horseradish sauce, is so nice,
it gives the meal a touch of spice.
But too much and you’ll pay the price,
it’ll burn your tongue in just a trice.
The tartare sauce is worth a try,
this is so true, I do not lie.
With luscious fish baked in a pie,
then served with a piquant stir fry.
What about chocolate dessert,
some extra calories won’t hurt.
then more cream, just maybe a squirt,
and watch it doesn’t stain your shirt.
Food of every kind I’ll eat,
I find it all a real treat.
I’m always ready for the sweet,
but slimming is a real feat.
Pass the salt dear, if you would, please,
and some lemon for me to squeeze
into my gin. Slices of cheese
would my sharp hunger pangs appease.
Pass the salt, Walt.

Salt is Sweet
Its dessert of salt
Rains mostly in night
And rarely in light
Has day and night
Color is black and white
Black resembles night
White resembles light
But its heart is black
So pours mostly in night
Whenever heart is tight
It pours all the night
Until heart sees light
Its rain is always salty
So it is very colorful
And makes life cheerful
It makes heart light
From night to light
With its salty rain
Its salt is very tasty
So drink it with heart
It makes heart strong
And makes life sweep
All past-reaped grief
With its flowing tears
Tears salt is sweet

Summer Tastes
Summer has a taste
I guess they all do
But summer is worth mentioning
Its not just the strawberries
Or the salt of the surf
It’s the lawn
It’s the colours
Summer isn’t coy
It doesn’t have pretense
Spring lies
And autumn pretends
You cant hold the others
It makes you squint before you see it
And makes you over dressed
It swallows shadows
It makes you hold all things up to it
Then hide them from its light
It s the point that the others were leading to
Or the place they depart
It’s the drip at the side of your mouth
It colours, smells, and embraces
And looks like the smile
God would have before talking.

Evergreen State
'No, little Johnny, raindrops are really just
the tears of sweet angels, who cry. Cry
because of sins that people commit,
and that is why, my smart and curious boy,
we get rain so often in Washington State'.
'Oh, so we have a lot of sinners here, then
and that is why it is called the Evergreen State? '
'Well, yes. I have lived here all my life,
all my friends live here and, as to being sinners,
I think it is more because of the tears, salty they are,
they bring down moisture and salt, my boy,
that, in the end, creates the salt of the earth,
and your grandpa is part of that. No sinner.
So, when the angels cry, you can watch the grass grow.'
'But grandpa, that means the more I sin the greener
and faster the grass grows, that feeds our cows,
makes more milk, steaks for the BBQ and, of course,
more salt of the earth. Right, old man, or not? '
'Smart boy you are, if I do say so myself. Smart.
So, how are you doing in school, behaving yourself? '
'Salt of the earth, grandpa, salt of the earth.'

Salt
Alive you are removed, what sees just to lurk - The way to obey, never to the dark - Skinned is my teeth, bit to the grit, grid to the byte - Whatever you say, princess - Whatever you want, princess of the damned - Argue with the ocean, win only you can - Waves which breaks, do so on the shore - Not inside your mind or soul - Never the talk, never to your back - Salt on your food, salt to your back - Salt by the steps to your door, prevents demons from the attack.

Let yourself be open and life will be easier. A spoon of salt in a glass of water makes the water undrinkable. A spoon of salt in a lake is almost unnoticed.
Salt Lake City
Down in utah
The guys and I dig a city called salt lake
Its got the grooviest kids
Thats why we never get tired of salt lake
And the way the kids talk so cool
Is an out of sight thing
And the number one radio station
Makes the town really swing yeah
Salt lake city well be coming soon
Theres a park near the city, yeah
All the kids dig the lagoon now
Its full of all kinds of girls
And rides and well be flyin there soon now
And girl for girl
Theyve got the cutest of the western states
They got the sun in the summer
And winter time the skiing is great yeah
Salt lake city well be coming soon
Salt lake city well be coming soon
Well be coming soon
Well be coming soon
Well be coming soon

Mango
in my youth
i did not wait for ripe mangoes
what we experience
is that
they are better eaten raw
sour
makes our tongues twist
and want for more
makes our eyes limp
and want for more
makes our tongues salivate
wanting for more
more of raw life, green hopes,
powerful stains that
mark our puberty pangs
sour memories that make us
want life more
garnished with salt and soy
and shrimp
that makes us ask for more
raw life, slices of salivations
no incantations
pouting lips, grinning teeth.

Teardrops
I saw a young man crying at the bus stop
and stopped to lend a shoulder for his pain.
He tried to give me reasons for his sorrow
but I said that there was no need to explain.
A tear reflects our lives just like the sunshine,
within it lies our flavour and our worth
Water holds the magic of renewal
and saltiness a taste for life on earth.
Water brings forth life for every creature,
without salt our food would taste too weak.
If someone sheds a teardropp please don't waste it
just remember to bless the one who weeps.

The Salt In My Tears
Ive tried and Ive tried for so long to please you
Gave you every bit of my time
Gave you everything I could possibly give you
My body, my heart, and my mind
I turned my family and good friends against me
Listened to my own heart break
And I did it all in the name of love
Gave up myself for your sake
And you never cared about me
You only hurt and deceive
I realize after all of these years
That you aint worth the salt in my tears
Youve cheated, youve lied and youve hurt me
Over and over again
You promised to love me forever
But forever reached a bitter sweet end
Been blinded by love to your actions
But at last I can see my way clear
Ive cried and Ive tried, and Ive tried and Ive cried
But you, youve never shed one tear
cause you never cared about me
You only hurt and deceive
I realize after all of these years
That you aint worth the salt in my tears
You aint worth, you aint worth the salt in my tears
Treated like dirt, Im hurt, I aint hangin round here
Youve left me crying, left me crying for years
But you aint worth the salt in my tears
You never cared about me
You only hurt and decieve
I realize after all of these years
That you aint worth the salt in my tears
No you aint worth the salt in my tears

What Is It About The Night
What is it about the night
that makes the youth play,
they make hay in the moonshine,
entwine and mingle if they're single
booze and groove an' sway to jingles.
What is it about the night
that makes their eyes shine,
makes them drink wine,
makes their hearts dance,
makes them chill to the beat.
What is it about the night
that fills my frame with fear,
makes me shed salt tears,
gives me shivers, quivers,
leaves me low and cold.
I am a creature of the day,
morning dew and sunlight,
balmy breezes in my face
and spring water as a chaser
to melt my fears away.

A Question
whatever detests upon yourself
cannot just be simply removed by you
and you say, this is not me
there is no denial about your dual nature
both evil and good
mixed in one glass like salt and water
if you remove one from the other
you shall not be the same again
not your taste, not you anymore
and you ask: what is real? the salt alone?

Its Your Move
Artist(Band):98 Mute
(Print the Lyrics)
Whatever makes you happy
Whatever makes you tick
Whatever makes the days that you pass through
Seem worth it
Whatever makes you feel like you're in place
Whatever makes your burdens lose their weight
Whatever makes you feel like you belong
Whatever makes you strong
It's up to you
Do whatever you want to do
Just be sure you follow through
Whatever makes you feel alright
Whatever gets you through the night
Whatever puts its arms around you
Whatever makes you smile
Whatever makes your daily battles seem worthwhile
Whatever makes you feel like your time is well spent
Whatever causes you to be content
Whatever helps you to erase your doubts
Whatever makes you proud
You are your best critic your best defense
It's you and no one else
So take charge of your choices and your life
Take charge of yourself

Too Much Food
You can say that Im one curly fry in the box of the regular
Messing with the flavor oh the flavor that you savor
Saving me for last but you better not eat me at all
Living in a fast food bag making friends with the ketchup and salt
People say that Im crazy for not moving on to better things
Instead Im sitting around trash talking with the onion rings
But its much too soon to leave this easy life
Pass me the spoon. pass the analytical knife
Cause your about to get cut and get cut down
Its all about the wordplay all about the sound in the tone of my voice
You gotta let me make my choice alone before my food gets cold
Better shut up or get shot down. it s all about the know how all just a matter of taste
Stop telling me the way I gotta play. too much food on my plate.
Believe it or not I super sized my sights on the surprise in the cereal box
My stomachs smaller than my eyes
So I went to see the doctor and he said turn your head and then cough
I didnt listen to what he said instead I couldnt wait to get off
He said I can have this but I cant have that
That I should keep wishing I was living the life of a cat because
I aint the one whose gonna be missing the feast
Just like you aint the one who seems to be calming the beast
Now your about to get cut and get cut down
Its all about the wordplay all about the sound in the tone of my voice
You gotta let me make my choice alone before my food gets cold
Better shut up or get shot down. it s all about the know how all just a matter of taste
Stop telling me the way I gotta play. too much food on my plate.
Well if you are what you eat in my case Ill be sweet so come and get some
Im so over it.
Now your about to get cut and get cut down
It s all about the know how all just a matter of taste
Stop telling me the way I gotta play. too much food on my plate.
(get up and get some)
Theres too much food on my plate

Liar, liar...
when the sweet sap of
the sugar cane is gone
when the salt does not
taste salt at all
when the vinegar loses
its prized acidity
the raw mango its sourness
the pork its oil and
the rice its gluten
when essence is gone
when you say that it is this
essence that precedes
existence
then tell me what happens next?
i know what to do.I know.

Salad is Incompatible with Life
Yes, my waist is fifty inches -
Big for me because I'm short.
And yes, I like my cheddar cheese
When partnered with a vintage port.
Okay, okay, that double cream
Is always served with pud,
And cake and biscuits with my tea
Are just no bloody good
For my poor hardened arteries,
But see my point of view,
Please dear wifey if you please,
A Salad makes me spew!
I'd rather eat a bowl of air
Than crunch away on greens;
Drink water from the toilet bowl
Or nibble on my jeans!
But salad! Are you there?
You know it makes me snappy -
So let me fill my face with grub,
Stay fat, and die young happy!
