Impulsive
He is itching,
To do something to be remembered.
Impulsive.
Imprudent.
And mentally incompetent.
With no social aspects,
To benefit!
He is itching,
To do something to be remembered.
Something to leave his mark!
Something...
Implusive!
That dangers.

Love Has Remembered Me
Written by: myles goodwyn
Love wont remember me
Its been so long
And thats what Ive told myself
But you proved me wrong
You opened up my eyes
And helped me to see
That love has a way of finding
Those in need
Love has remembered me (love has remembered)
It seems too long since weve been together
Love has remembered me (love has remembered)
Its been so long, seemingly forever
Love has remembered, love has remembered me
I felt so all alone
And at times afraid
That love had foresaken me
It just seemed that way
Then you walked into my life
And you turned my whole world around
Ours is a true love
It cant be found
Love has remembered me (love has remembered)
It seems too long since weve been together
Love has remembered me (love has remembered)
Its been so long, seemingly forever
Love has remembered, love has remembered me
Love wont remember me
Its been so long
And thats what Ive told myself
But you proved me wrong
Love has remembered me (love has remembered)
It seems too long since weve been together
Love has remembered me (love has remembered)
Its been so long, seemingly forever
Love has remembered me (love has remembered)
It seems too long since weve been together
Love has remembered me (love has remembered)
Its been so long, seemingly forever
Love has remembered
Love has remembered
Love has remembered
(love has remembered)

The comeback kid (song)
The comeback kid
~
I walked into am ambush I was overrun
Got caught out by feelings and thoughts
Led to into a limbo dance I became mystified
And this was just the beginning
~
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a comeback to behold
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a place to come back to
~
They say in every song there is a story
In every poem a tale is hid from view
The are many things we will come to say
And I guess that is just our little way
~
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a comeback to behold
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a place to come back to
~
Now where do we go from here
It’s a situation I am not used to
I’m all confused I have no clue
Can you take my hand, lead me from here
To where’ve you wish to
~
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a comeback to behold
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a place to come back to
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a comeback to behold
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a place to come back to

Moments Remembered
Those moments you leave,
Are these moments remembered.
I'd like to freeze those memories.
And save them whenever...
I need you here near me.
To warm in my heart once again.
When those moments you leave,
Are these moments remembered,
My wishes made...
Can't fade away.
Since I know that those times,
Are times to be cherished
And forever is never that far...
Away!
To wait for those moments,
I wish you would never
Depart.
Those moments you leave,
Are these moments remembered.
I'd like to freeze those memories.
And save them whenever...
I need you here near me.
To warm in my heart once again.
When those moments you leave,
Are these moments remembered,
My wishes made...
Can't fade away.
Since I know that those times,
Are times to be cherished
And forever is never that far...
Away!
When those moments you leave,
In my heart...
Are these moments,
You'll stay!
When moments remembered,
Are ones in my heart...
That will stay!

Hesitating Beauty
For your sparkling cocky smile I've walked a million miles
Begging you to come and wed me in the spring
Why do you my dear delay
What makes you laugh and turn away
You're a hesitating beauty, Nora Lee
Well I know that you are itching to get married, Nora Lee
And I know how I'm twitching for the same thing, Nora Lee
By the stars and clouds above we could spend our lives in love
You're a hesitating beauty, Nora Lee
We can build a house and home where the flowers come to bloom
Around our yard I'll nail a fence so high
That the boys with peeping eyes cannot see that angel face
My hesitating beauty Nora Lee
Well I know that you are itching to get married Nora Lee
And I know how I'm twitching for the same thing Nora Lee
By the stars and clouds above we can spend our lives in love
If you quit your hesitating, Nora Lee
We can ramble hand in hand across the grasses of our land
I'll kiss you for each leaf on every tree
We can bring our kids to play where the dry leaves blow today
If you quit your hesitating, Nora Lee
Well I know that you are itching to get married, Nora Lee
And I know how I'm twitching for the same thing, Nora Lee
By the stars and clouds above we could spend our lives in love
If you quit your hesitating, Nora Lee

The Scroll The Book Of Life
time is the fourth dimension
the acid test the touchstone;
by which you may be known
remembered revered esteemed
loathed or forgotten passing
leaving behind less than a ripple;
on the water traceless without
a whisper of life presence left
to mark your mirrorless life passage
more sinned against than sinning;
nothing of note to damn your soul
or leave your name remembered
yet your name may be safely written
in the scroll the book of life to be read;
out angelic with the blessed upon a
great reconciled judgement day dawned
upon that day the great and the small
will stand before a throne for this;
second resurrection for the first was
for those executed who spoke about God
Revelation 20: 4-12.

In the spirit of Rumi - 7
‘My Beloved,
what can I give you of myself,
that I have not given? ’
My Beloved said
‘O my dearest one,
in all places, at all times,
remember Me.’
‘O My Beloved,
how can I not do that? ’
* * *
In tears, I returned to My Beloved
and said
‘O my dearest one,
a week has passed, and the world
pressed hard upon me…
‘The next day, I remembered You
three times each hour;
the second day, I remembered You
but once an hour;
on the third day, I remembered You
in some hours, once; some twice;
some not at all… and so it went…
But O My Beloved,
each morning as I woke
I remembered through my tears
how I had forgotten You…’
My Beloved said
‘In the remembering of the forgetting
there was a feast of sweetest honey for Me,
hiding like a new young bride
laughing with her bridegroom,
laughing with her eyes on Him,
in the silken tent of love.’

Little Man, What Now ?
An afternoon nostalgia
Television show
You spoke in silhouette
(but they couldnt name you)
Though the panel were very polite to you
Oh, but I remembered you
Friday nights, 1969
Atv - you murdered every line
Too old to be a child star
Too young to take leads
Four seasons passed
And they axed you
Nervous juvenile
(wont smile!)
What became of you ?
Did that swift eclipse
Torture you ?
A star at eighteen
And then - suddenly gone
Down to a few lines
In the back page
Of a faded annual
Oh, but I remembered you
I remembered you

An uncanny wish
There is no sense in wishing to be remembered
By kith and kin or even kids after your death.
You are not there to the joy of being remembered
Or to the hurt of being forgotten. An uncanny wish.

Why Do We Need Now To Be Remembered
WHY DO WE NEED NOW TO BE REMEMBERED
Why do we need now to be remembered
When we will not know this?
Why do we want so much
To be thought of
After we have disappeared?
What is this need in us to continue to be
In the minds of others
When we will not be here anymore?
Heaven is for the Good,
But Poets want Immortality
On Earth.

His Name
I cannot say his name anymore.
For I grieve. My heart is sore.
How many times have I said his name?
Oh how easy to my tongue it came.
I did not have to think it through.
When I said it I did view
all about him that I loved
and now his name I have shoved
to the back of my mind
for it's easier I find
to not say it aloud
just cover it as a shroud
and pretend it never existed.
For years I just persisted.
He was everything for so long.
To me he was eternal song
that sings melodies oh so dear.
And now all's quiet in my ear
for he's gone.
Gone are his face, his eyes and chin.
Gone are the hands I reveled in.
Gone are the strides that he did make
that never again will he take.
Remembered on every passing day,
remembered in a pleasured way,
remembered now in life's hollow game.
It's hurtful now to say his name.

Someday
Someday I will be remembered as a person of greatness
Someday I will be remembered as a person of wonders
Someday I will be remembered as the girl that was what everyone wanted
But something deep inside tells me that day won't come
Who's voice could that be?
Someone who doesn't like me?
Yes, I know who.
You.
Someday I will be remembered as the person whom you loved dearly
Someday I will be remembered as the daughter you loved dearly
Someday I will be remembered as the daughter you've always wanted
But something deep inside tells me that day won't come
Who's voice could that be?
Someone who doesn't like me?
Yes, I know who.
You.
These Someday's I tell myself to get through the tough times
But I know that they won't come.
Someday you will accept me as yours.
Someday you will.Someday.
But something deep inside tells me that day won't come
Who's voice could that be?
Someone who doesn't like me?
Yes, I know who.
You.
