Exceptional Excellence Undenied
Tease the cooker!
But not too much.
Remember the cooker decides,
Whose taste buds will be satisfied!
And why...
If the cooker so chooses to apply,
An exceptional excellence undenied.

From The Biography Of An Unknown Woman: Xxii
...and when between
the pressure cooker
and a nagging demand
from the little one to solve
problems of time and distance
she looked askance
not knowing what to say
as the cooker released
its deafening pressure...
'how can i make you understand
you my little one that
time and distance are
filling yet empty...?
and that they're identical twins
yet intriguingly independent...? '
she muttered to herself

Pressure Cooker-My Envy
Many more items
Stuffed inside
Cooked well
Matter of time!
Fire stimulates
Steam slops
Heat permeates
Food is ready
Compelled to compare
The pressure
I am putting inside-
my mind so often!
Nothing is smashed
Till my death
What is wrong?
Process so different?
………….
The selection is done
Materials are chosen
Washed beforehand
Arranged in order
For me alas!
Where is the selection?
No discrimination
Ruthless dumping!
Oh! Cooker has one entry
Lid in place
Conditions controlled
Supervision guaranteed!
Nine holes luxury
No entry prohibited
No closing till cremation
Nonsense nonstop
Pathetic creature
Pervasive everywhere
Incompetent to beat cooker
Oh! Almighty what a pity?

Laughter is the valve on the pressure cooker of life. Either you laugh and suffer, or you got your beans or brains on the ceiling.

I Wonder
I wonder
How many people suffer from what i suffer from
And everyone puts it down to them just being
An angry or abusive kind of a person?
So they get labelled
And misunderstood
And little sympathy goes their way
The smallest thing seems to spark them off and people steer clear
'They should learn to control themselves' these people say
So, they get angrier and angrier because they are more and more ignored when what they want is to escape the spiral they're caught in
And smile
They often say 'everything is fine' because they get scared of people, these people, suspecting that one of their 'moods' is about to happen
Better to have the pain
The pain
Of suppression
Than court rejection
But for a while, only a little while
A breathing space sort of a while
For then the pressure cooker inside begins to heat and the lid clatters loud and the steam hisses and it bounces violent on the cooker and what's inside burns and smokes and chars and grills and boils and spoils
And, yet, they say
Try to say
Everything's fine
Until the hands tingle and the head goes blurry and the redness takes them and their mouth dries and they begin to tremble and nothing's fine at all.....
And people say
People say
Best avoid
Best avoid
Best avoid
People like that
And they do.

I've always been really in touch with my primal instincts. In my profession you have to be. You have to be open to going where your emotions take you. Acting is a sort of pressure cooker that allows the fizz to come out the top. God knows what I'd be like if I didn't have that. Even more animal, perhaps.

Shut Me Out
Pressure cooker about to explode
the ignorant ones are litenin' to fools
radical factions add fuel to the fire
to satisfy their hateful desire
We as the innocent suffer the most
paying for crimes we did not commit
here to serve penance for history's sins
detested for something we've never been
All their grandstands

To Avoid An Explosion
honestly
i do not write to impress
you
with what i have in mind
or what i am
to you or the
rest of those
who are reading
each word
i write because
i have to express myself
it is like a
pressure cooker
you know
trying to make the
hard meat
soft to my
eating
that steam being
let go
on those vents
simply to avoid
an explosion.

Now Do Not Complain...
I know your predicament
it is all hazy
something is intentionally made obscure
purposely to conceal
what is highly
confidential and personal
on the other hand
there is a certain need for venting
of suppressed anger
like she is a piece of old meat
inside a pressure cooker
tenderized
and finally dead
and those that touch her
feels that she is good
to eat.
do not attempt to understand
pain, there is no use
it will not take you to light
and you are not prepared for
the dark.

Savoury effects
some writers write
as if they have all the
kitchen ware in their hands
so that when you read their work
you actually feel the ladle, the
frying pan, the egg beater,
the tweezers, the funnel,
can opener, rice cooker,
balloon whisk, apple slicer,
garlic press, grater,
and all imaginable tupperware
thrown right at your face
and when you ask him why,
'well, ' he conceitedly says,
'that's for their savoury effects.'

Anytime Anywhere
My point of view is expanding everyday
And I feel with clarity my vision sway.
Your private access takes me all the way.
(yeah!)
I am amplified by whats inside of you.
I feel your energy is something I cant loose.
Im a pressure cooker, Im about to blow.
I love the way that you move me,
Its never enough, Ive got to have you,
Anytime/anywhere thats all.
My sweet addiction I pray will never end.
Well-trained and suffering my heat for you
Depends on love, like the flood,
When I go down.
I love the way that you move me,
Its never enough, Ive got to have you,
Anytime/anywhere thats all.
Anytime/anywhere
Ive got to have you,
Ive got to have you.

Wonderful mother like you
I'd like to know how you found that energy, Mom
to do all these things you did,
To be teacher teacher teaching us life's rules
and being the best dressmaker ever.
Mom, for me you're really capable to do
anything you want.
Mom, how did you do it all at one time?
being an advicer and a very good cooker
and being fidel friend for your children.
I just can't understand that yet.
I see now it was so wonderful care, Mom
that made you come together whenever
your children would call you to hear their troubles,
your super caring made us crazy
of loving you, Mom.
..So, how can we stop loving and caring of a

Kitchen Soliloquy
What a hell, life is a failure
You only know my dear platter
How much, how much I suffer
Like these mustards when they splutter
In hot oil browned dark to darker;
And my dear pressure cooker
Don't you know how much anger
Aberrated folks throw on me? This cutter
My enemy very often cuts my finger
Hell, heart is broken.I'm in danger
Stupid spilt oil, I'm skidded with rigour
Down on this dirty floor.
Slippery life with full of fear
Can't get up from under
This kitchen-ware
Slammed, slipped for ever..ever.

041210f It Could Be Better
soldiers came to restore peace and order
distributed food, blankets, tents, cooker
they put permanent dye on their hands
prevent them from coming twice or more
human is really evil they bleach their hands
some slip through watchful eyes, tricky
gangs snatch food supplies from weak
prey on helpless girls for their desire
people turn a blind eye for fear of
retribution; ignoring clutch of evil deeds
some fought to preserve their freedom
never heard them again to days to come

Fashion Butterfly
You dress up your clothes like a butterfly,
Girl, you've got style,
As you strut your stuff on the beach,
In the office, in the car,
In nightclubs and in bars,
Where you get merry,
And kiss all the boys,
Having fun as you play them like toys,
For you sparkle like pink champayne,
And just enjoy your nights,
The nightlife keeping you up until the morning light,
The sunshine hurting your eyes,
As you slip on black sunglasses,
For today is going to be a cooker,
As you travel uptown to be a star,
And shop for all those beautiful, colourful clothes,
That leave you shining at night,
For you are a fashion butterfly,
And a beautiful sight.

But You
Take what it is you can do,
And succeed with it.
No one has to know but you,
How deep the interest.
No one but you has to know,
How satisfied you feel inside.
And no one but you,
Will ever know what it does...
To complete what it is you do,
With a pride undenied.
But you.
With a choice only you have proven,
To be decisive.
Inspite of critique.
And opinions of others who may speak,
Of the nothing they believe that you do.
No one but you has to know,
How satisfied you feel inside.
With a pride undenied,
And a truth that is lived...
But you!
Know this to be true,
As you continue to do...
To get what it is you wish and choose,
Done!

Night Spots
Could be youre crossing the fine line
A silly driver, kinda off the wall
You keep it cool when its t-t-tight
Eyes wide open when you start to fall
You go d-dancing in the dim lit club
Some pressure cooker crawls up on his knees
Flashing sensation like a one on one
Stomping around in the jitterbug breeze
Oo, how you shake me up and down
When we hit the nightspots on the town
Oh
Oo, how you shake me up and down
When we hit the nightspots on the town
Oh
Its all behind you when you do catch on
You keep your lovers in a penny jar
A real romantic with a sultry stare
You keep on messin with your blonde, long hair yeah
Oo, how you shake me up and down
When we hit the nightspots on the town
Oh
(its just an automatic line)
(its just an automatic line)
(its just an automatic line)
(its just an automatic line)

Inventions
'What's the greatest ever invention
the best the world has ever known?
some say it has to be the wheel
while others reckon it's the Telephone '
But a lot of people love their Television
then again we all like to listen to the radio
let's not forget everyday material though
like Nylon, Plastic, and good old Velcro.
Where would we be without transport?
for a start we wouldn't go very far
so how about the Steam Engine
or the Bicycle, Helicopter, or the Motor Car?
In our kitchens we have many appliances
like a freezer where we store food to save
also an Electric or a Gas Cooker
and where would we be without the Microwave?
But there's been hundreds of inventions
from a Paper Clip, Safety Pin, a Telescope,
Computers and the modern wonder of the Internet
down to Toothpaste, and a little bar of Soap.
So I decided to ask my elderly neighbour
while she stood chatting smoking her fag
'Elsie, what's the greatest ever invention? '
she replied: ' Cigarettes, and a Tetley Tea Bag! '

Cooking Recalls The Past
The steam is hissing from the spout
As the pressure cooker pushes it out
Takes my back to my childhood past
As great steam engines go flying past
Huffing and puffing plumes of smoke
You cough and splutter it makes you choke
The ground it shakes under foot
As you hear that high pitched toot
Traveling along its metal road
Its boiler bubbling to near explode
As it carries its heavy load
Driver on his footplate stood
Face covered in oil and with soot
Proud was he as was his dad
For an engine driver he was glad
Timer rings cooking done
Brings me back form times of childhood fun

May I Have Another Helping of Those Delicious Critics, Please?
What do I have to say,
To those who are my critics?
I have been aware of them,
Since I began taking my first steps.
Since my first breath taken...
Was done independently.
I've heard it said,
My lifetime of actions...
By them has been disapproved.
And things I do have been ego led.
It's believed what I do,
Is done to seek attention.
Even those things I do to cleanse,
In privacy...
I care not mention.
We all have talents,
And those gifts that are given.
How I use the ones I have...
Aren't from a critic's invention.
Or maybe because of the creation of 'them'.
Who knows?
Perhaps that's what has them upset.
And if they have time like that to waste...
Don't hesitate in delay to say,
I am just getting started.
And what I've given to them to nibble...
Is just a little taste.
From a baking not completed,
Yet imaginations rate!
They have no idea,
Of who I am!
Or the making of 'me'.
And-what-that-takes!
Since I'm the cooker who does the feeding...
I know who eats!
And those served,
That ate.
Those who choose to regurgitate...
Do it without my decision given to make!
What do I have to say,
To those who are my critics?
I do admire their efforts,
But...
What's there is there for them to digest.
I'm not about to give up my peace,
Or my mind for them to test.
My eyes are clear,
And focused on my progress.
Not on things that I've done.
For purposes to keep manifested,
The days I spent in my youth...
Doing things to shock and stun,
Just for the 'hell' of having devilish fun.
Although I must admit,
There is 'something' about controversy...
That appetites my palate much more than just a bit.
'Excuse me...
I know I shouldn't.
Since I am here by invitation.
But,
May I have another helping of those delicious critics,
Please?
I can not believe they could be this delicious.
What have these critics been mixed with? '
