Enough of the Questions
Am I understanding this correctly?
Trillions of dollars are being borrowed...
And/or created,
To keep the feeding of those greedy?
And this will promote a healthy economy?
Okay...
So once this hole is filled,
The same folks are going to ensure it doesn't happen again?
My mama was an expert at using that very same approach.
She would open up a can of beans...
Serve it to us and say,
'The steak and mash potatos will be coming soon.
Eat this while you wait.
And don't worry about not having enough.
I've got more from where that came from! '
~What about the steak, ma? ~
'It's coming!
I didn't say what day.
But when it comes...
You will know about it!
Enough of the questions.
Eat! '

Pick It Up Or Be Gone
Pick it up or be gone.
What's given.
Pick it up or be gone.
What's there.
Pick it up or be gone.
The steak.
Or the rake.
Or the keys,
To open the gate!
Now...
Pick it up or be gone.
What's given.
Pick it up or be gone.
What's there.
Pick it up or be gone.
The steak.
Or the rake.
Or the keys,
To open the gate!
Now...
Don't try to imitate,
Homemade cake.
Oh no.
And don't ever try to duplicate,
A delicious taste.
Or...
Butter up faked mashed potatos.
Pick it up or be gone.

Steak Number 3
[parody of mistake no. 3 by culture club]
The first steak I ordered,
It wasnt very hot.
I had to send it back,
Let em have one more shot.
But the second steak I ordered,
Well it was lousy too.
Now I really hate to say it,
But theres one thing that you gotta do.
Make me steak number three, yeah.
Make me steak number three.
Make me steak number three, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Make me steak number three.

Beans Taste Fine
Now a friend of mine, way back in Chicago
You know, he finally made his pile.
Well he got himself a mansion on Butler and Sheff
An' he was livin' in the latest style;
But I run into him, he was eatin' in a greasy spoon
While parkled in front was his big limousine.
I said, 'Buddy, you've got so much money
How come youre in here, eatin' beans?'
An' he said
'After you've been havin' steak for a long time,
Beans, beans taste fine.
An' after you've been drinkin' champagne and brandy
You gonna settle for wine.'
He said 'The world is funny, and people are strange,
And man is a creature of constant change, and
After you've been havin' steak for a long time
Beans, beans taste fine.'
Now, you know I ran into another friend of mine
In a rowdy old Clark Street Bar.
I said, 'Friend, is it true what I heard about you?
I heard you married a beautiful 18-year-old shapely movie star,
Yet here you sit, tryin' to make out with some barfly
Who's too old and ugly to be true.'
He said, 'Shelley, you're still a very young man
So sit down. I'll explain it all to you.
He said
'After you've been havin' steak for a long time
Beans, beans taste fine.
An' after you've been drinkin' champagne and Chivas Regal
You gonna settle for Thunderbird wine.'
He said 'The world is funny, and people are strange,
And man is a creature of constant change, and
After you've been havin' steak for a long time
Beans, beans taste fine.'

No gain without pain
Christmas shopping.
Again, the pain,
a thought so stark
will I even get
into the car park?
I only needed
to nip in,
a quick purchase
to make.
T'was deer steak
I wanted.
Oh dear, it's raining.
So I made a quick dash
oh, that was rash,
no deer steak
just rain
and a beef steak
to boot.
So I'll stay mute
about Christmas shopping.

The Art of Conversation (Fun Poem 126)
In today’s society something is missing,
the art of conversation.
Nearly everyone forty and under
has a phone in their hand,
call It a mobile or a cell
it doesn’t matter which.
They use it twenty-four seven
not only for talking, but texting.
You see them in a restaurant
texting the person opposite only a foot away.
They say they do it because of the noise
and the noise they refer to is other phones ringing.
However, they don’t realise just how silly they look.
What could take a few minutes
takes more minutes to text.
Sometimes they even forget what they are eating
and pop their phone in their mouth.
A phone doesn’t taste as nice as a juicy sirloin steak.
When they order their phone,
they could order different colours.
Brown like gravy,
red like tomato sauce,
yellow like mustard
and put them all on their steak
like a deck of cards,
then shuffle them as they wait
for the next text to arrive.
Silly yes and maybe one day
they’ll look around at everyone
fiddling with their phones
and realize just how funny they look
and the art of conversation
may come back again.
Fingers crossed that might happen
and instead of them thinking to themselves
that I’m never alone with a phone.

4. Shopping and Chopping
Have you got pigs liver?
Said a lady in my shop
No I said politely
But I have a nice pork chop
Could I have some kidney?
With a half a pound of steak
To make a lovely gravy
With the pie she was to bake
The scales shows two and sixpence
Three bob a little more
She didn’t want the piece of steak
I’d just dropped on the floor
I parcelled up her purchase
And placed it with her shopping
Put the money in the till
Then went back to my chopping

I Don't Recommend Sardines
I use to love my cabbage with potatos,
Buttered and baked.
And with fired pork chops!
Crispy too!
And that's what I ate.
Until I rediscovered,
A fresh salad with tomatos.
And...
With a slice of pound cake.
To me this was great.
But I don't recommend sardines,
For certain people.
Or acquiring a taste for rare steak...
Served to drip,
With a bleeding done on paper plates.
No...
I don't recommend sardines,
For certain people.
Or acquiring a taste for rare steak...
Served to drip,
With a bleeding done on paper plates.

The Creep In Him...
The waitress was fooled by the creep
who orders steak and says
that her steak is shit and throws the plate
to the floor
creating a scene in the restaurant

then runs away.

Coming Up
Want a love to last forever
One that will never fade away
I want to help you with your problem
Stick around, I say
Coming up, coming up, yeah
Coming up like a flower
Coming up, I say
You want a friend you- can rely on
One who will never fade away
And if youre searching for an answer
Stick around. I say
Its coming up, its coming up
Its coming up like a flower
Its coming up. yeah
You want some peace and understanding
So everybody can be free
I know that we can get together
We can make it, stick with me
Its coming up, its coming up
Its coming up like a flower
Its coming up for you and me
Coming up, coming up
Its coming up, its coming up, I say
Its coming up like a flower
Its coming up
I feel it in my bones
You want a better kind of future
One that everyone can share
Youre not alone, we all could use it
Stick around were nearly there
Its coming up, its coming up everywhere
Its coming up like a flower
Its coming up for all to share
Its coming up, yeah
Its coming up, anyway
Its coming up like a flower
Coming up

Mama Said
(luther dixon / willie denson)
Mama said therell be days like this
Therell be days like this, my mama said
(mama said, mama said)
Mama said therell be days like this
Therell be days like this, my mama said
I went walkin the other day, yeah
Everything was goin fine
And then I met a little boy named billy-joe
And then I almost lost my mind
Come on, mama said therell be days like this
Therell be days like this, my mama said
(mama said, mama said)
Oh, mama said therell be days like this
Therell be days like this, my mama said
My eyes were wide open
All that I could see, yeah
The chapel bells were tollin
For everybody but me
But I dont worry cause
Mama said therell be days like this
Therell be days like this, my mama said
(mama said, mama said)
Mama said therell be days like this
Therell be days like this, my mama said
And then she said
Someone would look at me
Like Im lookin at you
One day
Then I might find
I dont want you any old way
So, dont worry, cause
Mama said therell be days like this
Therell be days like this, my mama said
(mama said, mama said)
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Mama said therell be days like this
Therell be days like this, my mama said
Oh, yeah
(mama said, mama said)
Dont worry, yeah, dont worry, now, yeah, eah, eah, eah
Dont worry, worry, now, now, now
Dont you worry

Momentary Contact With This Slight Inconvenience
With trillions of dollars in debt.
There are still some people,
Who are hopeful...
The price of gas will lower below a dollar.
A loaf of bread,
Will be twenty five cents again.
A push cart will be full of groceries...
For less than twenty dollars.
And what is being experienced now,
Is not a crisis!
It's a temporary slugfest...
With someone bashing them over the head,
With a ton of bricks.
However...
This 'momentary' contact with this slight 'inconvenience'
Is being addressed and will be taken care of...
As soon as it becomes recognized as a severe condition!
And folks are hopeful these sentiments expressed,
Are being made in the utmost of honesty!
Their lifestyles will return them to Utopia!
'Oh,
I sure hope so.
We must not accept negative thinking!
You know how that can play tricks on the mind?
Better times are coming back.
The gasoline is 'almost' below four dollars now! '

Winter is coming............
Children awaken me in the early light;
'Winter is coming' they shout in unison
'The leaves have danced off the limbs and the the trees are going to sleep, Mama.' says one.
'Winter is coming' claps two and three as they parade around on my bed
'Hot chocolate' screamed one
'with marshmallows' yelled two
'I will pop the popcorn' states three
'Winter is coming, Mama, we had our first frost. I thought it was dew, but it crunched under my feet.' says one with bright open eyes and cold feet on my toasty legs.
'Winter is coming, Mama, no more mosquitoes to bite us when we play.' cried two in excitement
'Winter is coming, Mom, I better go out and chop some wood for the family.' states nostalgic three
Yawn
Stretch
pull the covers closer
Sleepy answers
'Oh good, Winter is coming. I can crochet you a new scarf.' pointing to one
'I can make you a new doll' pointing to two
'And for you' beaming at three, 'I will bake some fresh bread for you my darling'
Hugs all around
Wiggle
Jump
Skip
'Winter is coming! '
'Winter is coming! '
Hooray! ! Winter is coming! '

(Strategy Poem) A Different Way
Dropping down by surprise
coming at this from a different angle
A re-approach
The side approach
Coming in through the window
When the doors open.
Who say I want use it?
Maybe my way is better
You just never know.
A backwards letter
A dyslexic meaning
Can you still understand me?

Extremely Left
Some would see me as a left extremist, but I'm not, I understand economics very well, I understand why our system isn't functioning correctly. I have no degree to state this but it doesn't make me any less wrong. I have read though enough articles and documents how this or that would fix our system. It is the monetary system itself that is part of the problem, it is the governance of that system that is part of the problem, it is the way our money is both created and distributed that is the problem. They're too many facts pointing all in one direction to ignore. We must open our eyes and see behind the smooth talkers, manipulating anything and everything for there own benefit before it is too late. I don't hate government. I don't hate small business. I'm not an anarchist. I believe they have there place. But I also believe when corruption is in the open and no one cares we have a problem.
Some might think I'm off my rocker, but how do you get trillions of dollars in debt? Where does this debt come from? I recently saw a chart 1/3 of it came from bush era tax cuts for the rich. I heard someone say the corruption is now in the form of consolidation of what little wealth we have left. While that maybe true, I still believe that is in preparation for the second collapse. Or the first one that never really happen. Depending on your perspective. A soften fall by printing money that doesn't exist that's written upon government debt. Be confident people it won't hurt if you keep spending. But what your continuously spending is really doing is perpetuating the cycle of corruption. Providing more money to corporations they can use to influence our government more. Another words the debt was created to give corporation more power. I would say boycott everything if I thought that was possible. I would say lets have modern Boston tea party if I thought we could get away with it. But that method I believe is useless. The only ones I think can stop it are the politicians. Will they though? I doubt it. I have a voice as you do and we must keep speaking. And that is right now my number one objective. Will it solve anything? I don't know, but I must try. So I can say I was not one of those good people who did nothing.

I've Had It Coming My Way
Standing on the balcony, trembling like a friggin' leaf
Its freezin' cold I must be mad its 4AM and gettin' really f*ckin' bad
There's an end to everything
Some folks are best at when they sleep
More than can be said 'bout me
This is what I asked for and what I need but there's always a price to pay
For quite sometime I've known for sure I've had it coming my way
Coming my way I've had it coming my way
Coming my way I've had it coming my way
Starring blind into thin air eternity one step from here
Pardon me I must have blown a fuse I'd really like to be excused
There's an end...
This is what I asked for...
Coming my way...
This is what I asked for...
Coming my way...

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CXXXV: Greedy
I'm not hopeless
I'm not obsessed
I'm just greedy
I know I should stop
I know my limit
I'm just greedy
I don't want to lose anything
I refuse to release something
I'm just greedy
Even it drains me dry
Even it wears me down
I'm just greedy
I'm not crazy
I'm not dangerous
I'm just greedy
I'm not in manic depression
I'm under a perfect control
I'm just greedy
I depending on that look
I clinging for that hope
I'm just greedy
If compared to the evil mind
If compared to the cruel traitor
I'm just greedy
I'm possessive
I'm territory man
I'm just greedy
I will clutch tighter
I will sink deeper
I'm just greedy
I never have enough
I always demand more and more
I'm just greedy
Though you should hate me
Though I should not be forgiven
I'm just greedy
I'm not only egoist
I'm not only aggressive
I'm just greedy
I am not getting tired

I'm just greedy
I'm not monster
I'm not fearless either

You could call me over confidence
You could call me irresponsible
I'm just greedy
I'm insatiable
I'm a gaping hole
I'm just greedy
I'm sneaky
I'll steal every chance
I'm just greedy
I'm addicted to warmth
I need undivided attention
I'm just greedy
Don't worry about me
Don't put your guard on me
I'm just greedy

Living Within Reduced Means
Variety may be the spice of life...
For those who can choose,
Whether or not...
To have beans and rice,
With a taste for steak.
Thawing to roast and bake,
In a pre-heated oven.
Some today see variety as a luxury.
And preparing rice and beans,
Has become a daily ritual.
Since fixed budgets,
Have arrived on their scenes.
Living within reduced means,
Is a reality for many that has demeaned.
And those still fortunate to have variety,
In their lives...
Stretch limited paychecks,
Realizing they have no idea...
What each day to them brings next.
Yet hopeful they are,
What is enjoyed today for them stays.
At least until that steak that thaws,
Is cooked.
And delivered in a presentation,
That is well done with vegetables...
Dripping deliciously and sautéed.
As seen in gourmet cookbooks.
And leftovers are as appreciated...
Without getting a dirty look.
From someone who believes...
An abundance of choices,
Will remain to feed their greed.
And prayers received are answered,
That returns them to an accustomed...
Feast of gluttony.
Without the fears of retribution,
That the stolen beef they eat...
Will not be taken from them by other thieves.

We've All Been Greedy
Those peaceful nights for some have passed.
Those feeling safe...
In sheltered communities behind closed gates.
Are awakening.
But not to Robins singing.
To peer from behind French customed made doors.
Swinging out onto the patio.
Overlooking acres upon acres upon more acres,
Of freshly cut grass.
These awareness days have come upon us fast.
Who would believe such a quick erasing,
Of a way of life....
Would come to pass.
And leave those embittered with much grief,
With streaks of torment on twisted faces.
Disgraced and now nervously pacing.
In wait.
But for what?
When the 'why' of it has arrived too late!
We've been greedy.
See what gluttony does when it can't be overcomed.
We've been greedy,
And feeding on our selfishness.
While ripping the hearts out of those to sustain it.
Doing everything to gain more and maintain it.
We've been greedy!
And..
The stinging of the realness,
Persists.
And can not be contained.
Acts of civil madness...
Spreads fast!
Thousands go out of their minds.
Many more are trapped!
Something in their minds have snapped.
Only those exposed to fantasies,
Are observed doing that.
And a waste of explanation can not bring them back!
Their self delusions have attacked.
Leaving us all affected by that 'fat'!
Yes fat!
Undisciplined rascists...
Tearing each other apart,
While laying lazily on our backs...
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Yes...
Greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger,
But never better than the rest.
Greedy!
Yes...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger
But never better than the rest.
Just so greedy!
Yes...
And bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
Yes...
And,
Greedy!
Yes!
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
And...
Doing it bigger...
But never better than the rest.
A sleazy greedy!
And...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've
ALL
Been
Greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
Just greedy!
Yes...
Doing it bigger...
But never better than the rest.
Sleazy greedy!
And...
Bleeding a democracy.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
We've ALL been greedy!
And...
Feeding on our selfishness.
With wishes to have all desires met.
And caring less about those we've distressed.
Greedy!
Yes...

Self Serving and Isolated Mindset
Everybody,
And his or her mama...
Has an opinion,
Of what President Obama should...
And should not do.
Suggesting Barack does not have the sense,
To approach the state of the economy.
Or provide a fix,
For their self imposed conflicts!
Or their addiction to decadence.
Even those thought of as 'pros'
Have their mouths opened wide,
When they should be the ones closed.
Behind prison bars...
And their miscalculations fully exposed.
It is with their 'wisdom' or lack of it.
The entire world has become a pile of horse...
Manure!
And I'm sure you get the 'drift' of this?
And now there is a leader who has insured,
No longer will the suffering of the people be endured.
With an approach that lacks of arrogance.
But with an honesty to be believed!
And an absence of deceit,
To begin a healing...
He hopes will inspire a cure!
A bleeding of respect,
Those of experience for many years accepted...
At the cost of their own neglect!
Has caused this global mess.
And too many are left conscious...
To realize who created the feeding greed,
Of those who 'have'...
And the 'have nots' falling,
Through wider gaps with less.
Everybody,
And his or her mama...
Has an opinion,
Of what President Obama should...
And should not do.
Suggesting Barack does not have the sense,
To approach the state of the economy.
Or provide a fix,
For their self imposed conflicts!
Or their addiction to decadence.
And he has done his very best...
To represent a nation of people,
Who have become lost and upset!
In a delusional,
Self serving...
And isolated mindset!
