Blinded By Confinement
Why try to reach minds closed?
What would be the point,
To impose upon that...
Which is disjointed.
There is no vision,
That collides within barriers hiding.
Why try to reach minds closed?
Or debate with those,
Who have been blinded by confinement.
And have found this to be of their content.

Dont Hold Back
(lead vocal - clare torry)
Some are born to lose their heads
And some are born to use them
And some will never know their ends
And some are born to choose them
Dont let your fantasies be blinded by the light
You dont have to save your wildest dreams for the night
Dont hold back, dont hold back, dont hold back, reach out
Touch the sky with your minds eye, dont be afraid to reach out
Some you win and some you lose
And some will bring you sorrow
Some are born to lead the rest
And some are born to follow
Dont rely on miracles to open any door
And dont let a shadow be your guide anymore
Dont hold back, dont hold back, dont hold back, reach out
Touch the sky with your minds eye, dont be afraid to reach out
Ride the wave of destiny
Rise above the crest
And believe everything that happens to you happens for the best
Dont allow the world of men
To turn your head no more
Cause if you cant let yourself go
What are you saving yourself for?
Dont hold back, dont hold back, dont hold back, reach out
Touch the sky with your minds eye, dont be afraid to reach out
Dont let your fantasies be blinded by the light
For you dont have to save your wildest dreams for the night
Dont hold back, dont hold back, dont hold back, reach out
Touch the sky with your minds eye, dont be afraid to reach out

They Know That They Don't Know
They know that they don't know!
And their opinions discloses the evidence.
Most of their knowledge has been obtained,
By innuendos and nonsense.
Leaving them exposed,
To an ignorance that shows.
They know that they don't know!
And any actions taken to comprehend...
Becomes entrapped by an inferiority,
Felt within them.
And that which escapes their understanding...
Is left out of their reach.
Although very close...
Are those answers they seek most.
But quick they fold their arms to their chests,
With stubborn hands to express...
Their choice not to hear,
What for them is best!
Declaring they wish not to listen...
Because facts distracts,
A consciousness they lack!
They know that they don't know.
But they want to gossip it.
They know that they don't know.
But they want to gossip it.
They know that they don't know.
But they want to gossip it...
And spread those rumors made to fit,
Those ears that are as limited!
They know that they don't know.
But they want to gossip it.
They know that they don't know.
But they want to gossip it.
They know that they don't know.
But they want to gossip it...
And spread those rumors made to fit,
Those ears that are as limited!
They know that they don't know,
With their minds closed.
They know that they don't know,
With their minds closed.
They know that they don't know,
With their minds closed.
And spread those rumors made to fit,
Those ears that are as limited!
They know that they don't know...
And it shows.
They know that they don't know...
And it shows.
They know that they don't know...
And it shows.
And spread those rumors made to fit,
Those ears that are as limited!
They know that they don't!
Stubborn and they're limited.
They know that they don't!
Stubborn and they're limited.
They know that they don't!
Stubborn and they're limited.
Stubborn and they're limited.
And spread those rumors made to fit,
Those ears that are as limited!

To Get One's Point Across
It is not easy,
To capture the attention of the minds today.
Whatever the message relayed,
Has to be quick with a meaning attached to it.
With content that is agreed upon,
To leave those listening...
With some comprehension left to discuss.
And...
If delivering the message naked,
There is a benefit of an allowance...
To have what is not heard when first spoken,
Requested to be said over and over again.
From every possible angle to get one's point across.
Ensuring the bare essentials are remembered and understood.
Today...
We must try 'everything' deemed necessary,
To reach the minds of our overexposed children...
With a purpose to prepare them and their minds,
For the world in which we live.
Protecting them from reality is not going to do it.

Sick With Self Inflicted Pain
Heads thick and fantasized,
Have minds closed and prevent...
Abilities to reason.
Or rationalize with common sense.
Many minds like these,
Are not often seen sitting on fences.
Minds encouraged and convinced,
Become defensive...
When shown they are wrong.
And an offensiveness begins...
To shutdown with a stubbornness,
That creates their own unhealing wounds!
Heads thick and fantasized,
Have minds closed and prevent...
Abilities to reason.
Or rationalize with common sense.
And around those with heads thick,
Are walls cemented with a lifetime...
Of an ignorance sick with self inflicted pain.

Night Of The Cadillacs
Blinded by a million shades
I couldnt see their eyes
I couldnt see their eyes
The eyes of the crazies who drive
I couldnt see their eyes
I couldnt see their eyes
Chrome and plastic wheeled star-fighters
Smiled the psycho pink late nighters
Taking terror to the west end
As the heroes from the east end
Come down to shake the street
On the night of the cadillacs
On the night of the cadillacs
Shaken by a certain vibe
I couldnt read their minds
I couldnt read their minds
The minds of the devils who ride
I couldnt read their minds
I couldnt read their minds
Gleam amp spray canned wild stallions
Manic horsemen drag technicians
Radiators eat the west end
More trophies for the east end
Come round to mince the meat
On the night of the cadillacs
On the night of the cadillacs
Salute as they go by
The ones about to die
Salute as they go by
The ones about to die
Driven by a rock and roll sound
I couldnt reach their ears
I couldnt reach their ears
Driven by a rock and roll sound
I couldnt reach their ears
I couldnt reach their ears
Pinkies versus sidewalk killers
Berserk ballet of taunting thrillers
Mad marauders for the west end
Dread the duellists from the east end
Come watch the new elite
On the night of the cadillacs
On the night of the cadillacs
On the night of the cadillacs
On the night of the cadillacs
On the night of the cadillacs

As If Invisible
There is nothing done,
In front of their faces...
Or heard coming from behind their backs,
Can they say with convincing eye contact...
They were not aware of or did not know.
They can,
However...
Name it something else,
To leave as is...
But it is as it shows.
By the ones awakened,
Without their minds closed.
If they with their minds closed,
Had been hit by a truck...
And could not get up,
They would lay there and not be helped.
As if invisible,
By everyone else...
With familiar and similar mindsets.
From Sunrise to Sunset.
But if they are pricked and felt a pinch,
They would then exclaim...
Someone has made an attempt,
To threaten their lives.
Even though they could not identify...
Who or why the doer would do this.
Although they then would know...
Something was felt to complain about.
Something they still could not describe.

Minds eye solatium pt.1
Isolation, my solatium,
forever more the vagrant,
compensation, revelation,
of things that seem so vacant,
suspension in reality,
in exile, but awake,
entombed within my minds eye,
levitating on the lake.
Reach in to retrieve the answer
and pull the inside out,
the question is redundant
and the words never amount,
the boundaries of existence
are opaque and make no sound,
look down upon my minds eye,
from just above the ground.
A journey through subconscious
to a world that's retrospect,
endeavour to endure the path
that time will soon collect,
for if you reach the destination
known by precious few,
you'll come to see my minds eye,
in the haunted morning view.
The figments congregate,
as if expecting some illusion
and treat the interruption
as a cardinal intrusion,
their silence screams the loudest voice
and lasts a hundred years,
you'll pray for deaf in my minds eye,
where skies are nowhere near.
So now you've seen this place
can you conceive a mundane vision,
or does your sense of caution
force an ill-advised recession,
for all i ask is that you know
the meaning of this code,
and rest within my minds eye,
to repay the secrets sowed...
to become the cruces ode.

Books up on books
Color in Black, color in white
And also in different colors
Colors were brushed in minds
Respectively be hard
Printed embossed letters
In books of epigraphy
Color in black
On Space of white
Told that is black
Black white and colors
Books up on books
Being closed near by
Dialogues having intercourse
Get soaked colors of minds
Smudged
Scabrous words
Boorish colors
In a content of
In a book
Wearing a strange cover
Not get closed
And be separated
Having filed up afar
At the library of old
On a table
Books up on books
Turn pages
Marking and conflicting
And also comparing
An empty paper
A pen
A hand with five fingers
An artist

Barack Hussein Obama II
Barack Obama in Berlin,
With words like a bard to put us in order;
But many minds will lay low to think.
Being one of his father's children among the four wives and,
A vision came to him to achieve the best of life with dreams;
Right from the beginning of things to fulfil his ambitions and,
As the right person to stand for the U.S Presidential race.
Care was given to him from every angle to push him up like,
Kenya where his father came from.
Barack Obama in Berlin,
With words like a bard to put us in order;
But many minds will lay low to think.
Here in Berlin with the advantage of his reputations and,
Using the opportunities in the U.S.A. like his father had;
Showing how great it is to share without racism and religion like,
Sunflowers in a sweet green field with the smell of an aroma:
Emitting with positive words to call us all together as one.
In the U.S.A. to reach out to the world with love and,
Now that he is running for the presidential seat.
Barack Obama in Berlin,
With words like a bard to put us in order;
But many minds will lay low to think.
Obama has made a name in this world so sweet,
Being rated among the best to bring us together;
Along the lines of war, hatred and peace like,
Masters of the act of flying to reach a place:
A memory of his visit will sit many down to think.
Barack Obama in Berlin,
With words like a bard to put us in order;
But many minds will lay low to think.

Up All Night
Up all night,
Seeking to find that right approach...
That is not felt to encroach upon to undo,
The familiar scent of roses.
Or drastically impose a new point of view.
I know I am not amongst the few but many,
Wishing for a vision from a different plateau.
I can't be the only one,
Up all night inspired...
By insights with desires to reach as I bloom.

The AntiChrist Lives...
the AntiChrist lives...
in the harsh decisions
made by your callous leaders.
in your turning of the head,
and closing of the eyes,
as injustice is piled upon injustice.
in the countries you invade,
in those you imprison without cause...
in those you let go hungry,
in the sick you do not care for.
in your prejudices and righteous judgements,
in the closed minds of your fundamentalist fervor.
in your closed doors, closed borders,
in your profit at all costs.
in your churches, in your courtrooms,
in your fear to touch the untouchables!
the AntiChrist lives...
in the well dressed faces of apathy
that haunt your mirrors!

Reach Out
(Jean-Paul Maunick / Dominic Oakenfull)
If you're willing to listen, I got a message for you
Gather everybody, together there's nothing we can't do
We must use love inspiration to elevate our minds
Spread the information to the corners of the world
Reach out
You'll be amazed what you find
When you reach out with your mind
Reach out
You're gonna find so much more
Won't you reach out and explore
If you are searching for something to lead you out of the dark
Light the inner fire, if you believe it will see you through
We must use love inspiration to elevate your mind
Spread the information to the corners of the world
Reach out
You'll be amazed what you find
When you reach out with your mind
Reach out
You're gonna find so much more
Won't you reach out and explore
We are one under the sun

The days went through far too many faces
the days went through far too many faces
and all the cards dealt in a game of prey
slipped through the hands
like leaves through the boughs
to reach the bottom pit
and a pendulum sound
the houses went through far too many doors
and closed their windowed eyes ushered stricken blue
a twin handful of earth ancestor I found
to reach the bottom pit
and a pendulum sound
the murders took place in the streets of devil
that spoke in a language foreign known to none
detected on a track of an evolution crown
to reach the bottom pit
and the pendulum sound
an we drank our wines not knowing their names
floated in the casks down the poisoned rivers
built ourselves in walls air lost in the ground
to reach the bottom pit
and the pendulum sound

On The Shores Of Ithaka
In our minds eye...
Certainty
All powerful
Beyond blindness and fear
Confident fused with vanity
Arrogant
Propelled by scorn
Foresight
Relegated to beg in the streets with despair,
Caution
Forever
Lagging behind (the horizon)
As we sail from day
Into night's web
Tich with deceit of a tender embrace
And a knife to the heart!
Blurry eyed we strain
Seeing a different reality
Each visions
At odds with the truth
Never again in reach
So obvious to the ones
Less myopic
Each vision
As our minds
Blind to The impending doom
Guided by our misguided way
We plow on
Sight hollowed out
Visions blunted by
Web of deceit
Thick with contempt with most vocal burn blessed
With scorn
Others hope it goes away
and...
Let it happen
Word collide, worlds shatter
Opinions are cheap
Fed by ignorance
And there is the paradox
How do we reach utopia
Our shores of ithaka
If we move in the opposite direction
While trying.
On the shore, of ithaka

Out Of Reach
Every day just seems so long
Every minute that I'm here without you
Will tomorrow ever come
Will I ever get a chance to feel you
I need you so much
You're out of reach
You're out of reach but you're so close
I hear you cough I feel you fall
But you're out of reach
Another room I can't hide
Another night without you here beside me
Cause I don't want to fake it
I'm just trying to make it yeah
I need you so much
You're out of reach
You're out of reach but you're so close
You're out of reach
You're out of reach but you're so close
You're out of reach
You're out of reach but you're so close

Unconsciousness Is Needed to Sanitize the Blight
Unconsciousness is needed,
To sanitize the blight!
Closed minds are keeping...
Shut tight!
And uptight!
Folks have given up on praying.
Dazed in disbeliefs.
And covering dread,
Under silk and satin sheets!
Licking crumbs off tables...
Wishing sauteéd meat to eat!
As they meet and greet defeated,
People!
Sleeping on crowded heatless streets!
Goodbye to delusions
Secluded in the making!
Their cries have manifested truth!
Hello to the warnings,
No one thought would trespass.
Reality has come to many face to face.
Forgotten are those preferences,
That now have been replaced!
Unconsciousness is needed,
To sanitize the blight!
Closed minds are keeping...
Shut tight!
And uptight...
With the facts that frighten!

Opened Minds
Opened minds,
And like a vision that was seen;
So choose your friends carefully as,
There are many who do not hold moral values.
Opened minds,
Many of your friends are there only to get what they can from you;
Yes, they are there always to take advantage of you!
So choose your friends carefully.
Opened minds and a direct speech,
They followed their own traditions! !
As they live in adultery while they are still in marriage;
And like the night vision that was seen by all of us.

Left to Puff Up to Float
Some folks live,
To stay where they are.
Embracing their yesterdays...
To add their versions that ignites,
An excited wish...
To have those days relived,
As they are told.
The 'how-things-use-to-be' folks...
Swatting away flies from their molded stories.
From a stoop or a porch...
Or from a corner that is now paved,
Where they once played upon a dusty road.
There they stand proud and in the way,
Of someone on the move.
Someone passing through!
As they evaluate each step placed they take!
Discussing amongst themselves...
Whether or not they should approve.
And 'who' thinks they are,
Better than 'who'!
As they become distant from those...
Who have chosen to stay,
With their minds in times frozen and closed!
Recruiting young ones,
Impressed with their stagnation.
Those of similar kind and like minds,
Groomed to complain and whine...
About the current times they find.
Listening to embellished beliefs.
Leaving few taught,
That they should reach...
For their aspirations and dreams,
To become implanted.
For a flourishing tomorrow!
But as sorrows are shared...
A tomorrow for them,
Has yet to occur.
For them this awareness,
Has been for them intentionally blurred!
Or even the notion to live...
And be in the 'now' to stir a motivation!
But this implementation,
Is not a seed sown to harvest...
In minds fed on killer weeds!
Passed and expected,
To be received.
And so they too...
Are left to puff up to float,
Like the others!
To exclaim with their druthers...
How 'good' the stuff to them they get!
Just like 'how-things-use-to-be'...
Yesterday and those days before!
