The AntiChrist Lives...

the AntiChrist lives...
in the harsh decisions
made by your callous leaders.
in your turning of the head,
and closing of the eyes,
as injustice is piled upon injustice.
in the countries you invade,
in those you imprison without cause...
in those you let go hungry,
in the sick you do not care for.
in your prejudices and righteous judgements,
in the closed minds of your fundamentalist fervor.
in your closed doors, closed borders,
in your profit at all costs.
in your churches, in your courtrooms,
in your fear to touch the untouchables!
the AntiChrist lives...
in the well dressed faces of apathy
that haunt your mirrors!

Behind Closed Doors

Written by new order
There is a secret place
Underneath a tree
Where if you go and haste
You will find a key
The key will open doors
And you will look inside
The things that you will see
Will open up your eyes
At any given time
On every other street
The city comes to life
Though everyones asleep
A man beats up his wife
He doesnt wanna keep
Behind closed doors
Theyre in retreat
I dont know what makes me stay
The city life just aint the same
Theres something wrong with kids today
I blame the parents anyway
Theres no hope
No one to trust
I cant cope
Its obvious
Please dont take my drugs away
Im gonna give them up someday
There is a place somewhere
That I could call a home
Id live without a care
Id never be alone
One day I will get there
I feel it in my bones
I check upon the scores
I listen to the coors
Behind closed doors
Behind closed doors
Behind closed doors
Behind closed doors
They still want more
Behind closed doors

Everynight I Wake Up Screaming

If it's all a magnificent mistake
There goes the universe and it's order
I was dreaming wide awake
When something pulled me under the water
(Breathe) I can't surface I
(Breathe) Its in my fear
(Breathe) And I can't stop it
(Breathe) I can't, I can't breathe
(Breathe) I'm choking
(Breathe) And I don't want to sleep
Everynight I wake up screaming
We're the last tribe
as the world stops turning
Everynight I wake up screaming
My car crash isn't far from here
And everything looks better
with my eyes closed
Everything looks better
with my eyes closed
There's a terrorist somewhere
With my name on a bullet he's loading
There's a meteor out there
With the world in it's sights
and it's closing
Everynight I wake up screaming
We're the last you and me
as the world stops turning
Everynight I wake up screaming
The end of everything's very near
Everything looks better
with my eyes closed
Everything looks better
with my eyes closed
Everynight I wake up screaming
I'm the last man
as the world stops turning
Everynight I wake up screaming
Dreaming that I'm blind again
And everything looks better
with my eyes closed
Everything looks better
with my eyes closed

As If Invisible

There is nothing done,
In front of their faces...
Or heard coming from behind their backs,
Can they say with convincing eye contact...
They were not aware of or did not know.

They can,
However...
Name it something else,
To leave as is...
But it is as it shows.
By the ones awakened,
Without their minds closed.

If they with their minds closed,
Had been hit by a truck...
And could not get up,
They would lay there and not be helped.
As if invisible,
By everyone else...
With familiar and similar mindsets.
From Sunrise to Sunset.

But if they are pricked and felt a pinch,
They would then exclaim...
Someone has made an attempt,
To threaten their lives.
Even though they could not identify...
Who or why the doer would do this.
Although they then would know...
Something was felt to complain about.
Something they still could not describe.

In The Ashes!

break out the windows,
kick down the doors!
stack all the old furniture...
and set fire to it!

the windows....
...through which we stared at life
......safe from its touch!

the doors....
....we closed in our fear
......of who we are
.......and what we see
...........in each other.

the furniture....
....we sat on and laid on
.......while the cries of the struggling
.........and the hands of the hungry
.............reached out...

the fire....
...that burns apathy with pure compassion
.......burns the lie of self till we find
.........the faces of God in the ashes!

Mankind's Greatest Failure

human failures...
war, poverty, hunger,
inequality, injustice,
enslavement, loss.....

and war leads to all of these.

greed, power, abuse,
apathy, fear, lies....
all cause war!

inability to communicate,
prejudice, righteous fervor...
allow wars to continue...

war!
mankind's greatest failure!

The Son Never Shines (On Closed Doors)

I saw her there from afar
Her hair grey charcoal
Takes a drag from her tar
I kissed her a smile
But her blood red shot eye
Said the son never shines on closed doors

It's been eight long years since I saw
The woman who's labored
Since the day I was born
These wrinkles now face
To that cold dark damp place
Where the son never shines on closed doors

She said the son never shines on closed doors
I open to find only hurricanes blow
Take me away back to the green fields of May
Because the son never shines on closed doors

Death comes like a theif in the night
To steal while you sleep
The soul's flickering licght
Well maybe it's then
She said

Closed Doors Of The Mind

No one knows what goes on behind
the closed doors of the mind.
Thoughts that sometimes inspire
the deeds that transpires.
Many have tried to find the key
to unlock the secrets that are enclosed within,
buried deep behind
the closed doors of the mind.
The lust and deprivation
that sometimes conspire
to be set free
or the eternal love of life
that can rise to the fore.
Both are hidden in the crevasses
behind the closed doors of our mind.

Do You Care? Do You Care?

there are people dying everywhere,
do you care? do you care?
there are people hungry everywhere,
do you care? do you care?

gunshots, bomb drops,
thunder splits the sky.
preacher on the tv,
says you're gonna die.
patriots, deviants,
doors ripped off the hinge.
children eating fathers,
freedom on the fringe!

equality, dignity,
slam the prison doors.
bodies in the ditch,
aint nobody keeping score.
nuclear rain, cocaine,
oceans full of oil.
god died, the president lied,
coming to a boil.

there are people dying everywhere,
do you care? do you care?
there are people hungry everywhere,
do you care? do you care?

black skin, white skin,
grated till they bleed.
angry men without hope,
taking what they need.
well paid lies, cut the ties,
glass figures stand in line.
love screams, shattered dreams,
the blind lead the blind!

trees cut, doors shut,
food stamps and day old bread.
schools closed, books burned,
hear the cry of the dead.
injustice rages, guilty pages,
we reap what we have sowed.
this world on fire, with desire,
the truth the final code!

there are people dying everywhere,
do you care? do you care?
there are people hungry everywhere,
do you care? do you care?

Behind Closed Doors

(kenny odell)
My baby makes me proud
Lord, dont he make me proud
He never makes a scene
By hangin all over me in a crowd
cause people like to talk
Lord, dont they like to talk
But when they turn out the lights
I know hell be leavin with me
And when we get behind closed doors
Then I let my hair hang down
He makes me glad that Im a woman
Oh, no one knows what goes on behind closed doors
My baby makes me smile
Lord, dont he make me smile
Hes never far away
Or too tired to say I want you
And Im always a lady
Just like a lady should be
But when they turn out the lights
Hes still my baby to me
And when we get behind closed doors
Then I let my hair hang down
Oh, he makes me glad Im a woman
Oh, no one knows what goes on behind closed doors
Oh, behind closed doors
I let my hair hang down
Im glad that Im a woman
No one knows what goes on behind closed doors
Behind closed doors
I let my hair hang down
He makes me glad Im a woman
No one knows what goes on behind closed doors
And when we get behind closed doors
Then I let my hair hang down

Fantasized By Lives Deluded

Fantasized by lives deluded.
Where will their minds go?
When all of their beliefs,
Have been depleted.
To release them to realities...
They've been taught to fear.
And takes away those choices,
To isolate
Behind locked doors!

Their eyes charaded,
With disguises and masquerades...
Now can no longer be kept closed!
Or escapes to shelter them,
From the beast at the feast...
They enjoyed without limits.

This beast creeps within their consciousness.
And bares exposed sharpened teeth.
Preparing them to eat!
They see this...
As the gates of a way of life,
For them once lived...
Crumbles to rust and has been disposed.
Where will their minds go?
With no amusements left to show.

Its Come To This

And I found my head uncrowned and all lifes sweet nectar flowing down
The cracks and seams wasted on some petty little prayers
And i
Reached up for despair but I was well below that cherished stage
And all my mangled hopes all song unsung
I fear Ive wasted all my sun
I fear Ive wasted all my time
Everything is faded
Smiles are fabricated now
I fear Ive wasted all my sun
I fear Ive wasted all my time
Held my eyes closed for too long
And I ran out through the streets in hopes that I might find it there
But all my buildings stared back at me tenantless and bare
And i
Reached up for the sky, but it always seemed so far away
Transcendent thoughts you gave lie atrophied and broken
And I sat when I should have stood; swallowed when I should have spit
Until now I only recognize me in pictures taken long ago
And
All the changes simply haunt and never go away
A friend will tell when I hit hell, I may not feel the change
Held my eyes closed for too long
Held my eyes closed for too long
Just before I go dont you offer any sweet advice because where were all
Your shoulders when I needed them so long ago
And
Now with legs weak and weary from this silly dance
With a suitcase fulof memories, I pack my bags and slowly drift away

No Difference

i stared out the window
at the bare frozen limbs
of my favorite old tree...
i closed my eyes...
saw leaves bud forth
and turn green...
i opened my eyes...
knowing there was no difference.

i stared at the young girl
reading at a corner table
i closed my eyes...
and saw an old grandmother
washing dishes with her grandbabies
playing in the floor at her feet...
i opened my eyes...
knowing there was no difference.

i saw the young man
carrying his son on his shoulders
i closed my eyes...
and saw an old man standing
by his son's casket
draped by a flag...
i opened my eyes...
knowing there was no difference.

i saw an old man
standing on the corner begging
i closed my eyes...
i saw a young boy
playing ball in the street
laughing and dodging cars
i opened my eyes...
knowing there was no difference.

i saw a crack head shivering
by an electric heater in a bare apartment
i closed my eyes...
and saw a young a/g student
helping some kid with his math
i opened my eyes...
knowing there was no difference.

i saw a desperate girl
walking the streets
looking for a john
i closed my eyes...
and saw a young girl's room
stuffed animals on the bed
pictures of her and her daddy on the wall
i opened my eyes...
knowing there was no difference.

i saw a young man
wild-eyed with fear
in a prison cell
i closed my eyes...
i saw a young boy gone hunting
with his grandpa on thanksgiving morn
with his dog by his side
i opened my eyes...
knowing there was no difference.

i pulled back the veil of time...
knowing, there is no difference!

Every Aspect Of It!

Just because you do not see me driving,
Do not assume I am not licensed to drive.
Or that I do not 'think'...
Because I do not look the part.
You don't see half the things I do and have done.
Nor are you on my agenda.

And folks who focus their sights on others...
Are the first who find these times we live,
Difficult to adjust.
Even though they feel they 'must'...
Demand understanding,
Without participating in the development of it.
You know the kind...?
The ears closed, mouth open types!

With claims they don't know what is going on!
And rush they do to prevent,
The circumstances of truth.
Coming to bombard and overwhelm.
With the consequences of their ignorance.

You know the kind...?
The ears closed, mouth open types!

Yet conflict they are quick to define...
Instead of using their minds to take time,
Comprehending remedies.
To set aside a strategy...
To stop the havoc that has begun,
Happening in their own lives.

You know the kind...?
The ears closed, mouth open types!

And this kind of mindset today,
Is reflected on a massive scale.

People into minding the business of others...
Have found their business in shambles.

Every aspect of it!

With shock and disbelief,
As a return for their 'investment'!

You know the kind...?
The ears closed, mouth open types!
The ones who rush to cover their butts,
With implusive mindless decisions!

Behind Locked And Closed Doors

The very same dudes,
Who had accused me of being less than manly...
Are turning up with bloodied noses.
From activities they wish to keep 'down low'.
You know...
Discreet and off the streets.
As if to keep their deeds secret.

Those doors swinging open from closed closets,
Are producing havoc for 'straight' relationships.
And I had at one time been on the sidelines watching.
But experiences as they are and have been experienced...
I can only wish those the best of luck,
Who know the difference between being monogamous...
And those who are straight up whores,
Behind locked and closed doors.

'What is going on today? '

I can't tell.
They keep moving out of my focus.
And I need to get stronger binoculars.
Here take a peek.
Tell me what you see.

This Entity

Just because IT can not be seen,
Observed to criticize to pass judgements to demean.
IT is there...
For those aware and trust IT!
For those whose faith
Has not been shakened,
IT is there!
Gathering those in confidence of IT and ITS presence.
IT is there...
Each time injustice is enforced upon us.
With eyes from heaven unseen but touched!
Even though lies may escalate
Fakers who seem to win!
The awesome power of this Entity
Will not abandoned those feeling trapped and closed in!
IT is there and has begun to show
The battle for peace is not over and can be won!
This Entity is here!
This Entity has come!
To prove who loses...
When all is said and done!
IT is there.
IT is here...
To prove powerless sinners should not be feared!

Because We've Kept Our Mouths Closed

While you and I were staring out the window,
Our lives were being played with.
Insignificantly.
As if a ball tossed,
By irresponsible kids.

And because we've kept our mouths closed...
Those balls then were thrown.
Tossed carelessly back to break that window.

With a showing of further disrespect.
And a lot of shouting expected.
With our lives continued to be played.
As if nothing had been heard.
Since we allowed it to be that way!
Because we've kept our mouths closed.
Or mumbled in silence...
To not disturb with bitter words.
For fear of being perceived as mean neighbors.

Now the whole neighborhood is policed,
And monitored.
To keep peace on the streets.

And at one time,
It was easy to blame this on 'them'!
You know...
'Them? '
Who had been 'those people'!

Albert Einstein

As long as Nazi violence was unleashed only, or mainly, against the Jews, the rest of the world looked on passively and even treaties and agreements were made with the patently criminal government of the Third Reich.... The doors of Palestine were closed to Jewish immigrants, and no country could be found that would admit those forsaken people. They were left to perish like their brothers and sisters in the occupied countries. We shall never forget the heroic efforts of the small countries, of the Scandinavian, the Dutch, the Swiss nations, and of individuals in the occupied part of Europe who did all in their power to protect Jewish lives.
