Left to Puff Up to Float
Some folks live,
To stay where they are.
Embracing their yesterdays...
To add their versions that ignites,
An excited wish...
To have those days relived,
As they are told.
The 'how-things-use-to-be' folks...
Swatting away flies from their molded stories.
From a stoop or a porch...
Or from a corner that is now paved,
Where they once played upon a dusty road.
There they stand proud and in the way,
Of someone on the move.
Someone passing through!
As they evaluate each step placed they take!
Discussing amongst themselves...
Whether or not they should approve.
And 'who' thinks they are,
Better than 'who'!
As they become distant from those...
Who have chosen to stay,
With their minds in times frozen and closed!
Recruiting young ones,
Impressed with their stagnation.
Those of similar kind and like minds,
Groomed to complain and whine...
About the current times they find.
Listening to embellished beliefs.
Leaving few taught,
That they should reach...
For their aspirations and dreams,
To become implanted.
For a flourishing tomorrow!
But as sorrows are shared...
A tomorrow for them,
Has yet to occur.
For them this awareness,
Has been for them intentionally blurred!
Or even the notion to live...
And be in the 'now' to stir a motivation!
But this implementation,
Is not a seed sown to harvest...
In minds fed on killer weeds!
Passed and expected,
To be received.
And so they too...
Are left to puff up to float,
Like the others!
To exclaim with their druthers...
How 'good' the stuff to them they get!
Just like 'how-things-use-to-be'...
Yesterday and those days before!

We Live So Fast
Please dont ask me to stay
Im leaving this town
Dont worry now
Believe me as I believe that
Luck is on my side
The future is mine
If I can find
A way through these strange days of my life
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen
The streets deserted and cold
Theyre not paved with gold
But I dont care
For those who think young will still survive
Making their move
Hoping to prove
That they can face
This big city, small world, big time
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen
But now I know their ways
I found my place
Saw their true face
Theres nothing to stay for so Ill go
Ill pick up the phone
Still searching for home
We life so fast
Alone but not lonely I move on
We live so fast
Motion, motion
No time to waste
Use it, use it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Make the first step and reach out for tomorrow
We live so fast
Motion, motion
We cant stand still
Move it, move it
We live so fast
Motion, motion
Move out of my way its time to make it happen

Rapid Is The Information
Rapid is the information.
Too much perhaps,
But the facts are clear...
It is here.
Blurring the minds and fixed visions,
With such speed and precision.
And fearing are those who can not keep up.
With down on their luck blues to sing.
And nerves quickly plucked,
By their own closed and shut inhabitions!
Listening to tired conversations,
Wishing to manifest a redigesting...
Of yesterdays gone,
Is sad to witness and observe...
Such listlessness gone undisturbed,
By a jolt of motivation.
Or something that provokes slow pokes,
To ignite with urgency.
Was that served and deserved?
With an intent to have many feed their gut,
With gluttony.
And not their minds to fine tune,
With the times?
Rapid is the information.
Too much perhaps,
But the facts are clear...
It is here.
Leaving that and those 'tomorrows',
Far behind!
Faster than the batting of an eyelash!
And...
With the thoughts of them,
Easier to put off...'then'!
With the best of procrastination skills,
Many have adopted as professions.
But the facts are clear...
Whatever is here and experienced right now,
Is on the move.
It has 'already' gone!
And anyone desiring to torment themselves,
Because of it...
Will find they are not alone!
Others also made decisions to deny their dreams!
With hopes that tomorrow would do for them,
What today did not...
Do for them!
And just like all of those yesterdays they 'lived'...
Moaning and groaning,
To find excuses not to do it!
And to find that just as rewarding,
As the discovery of fresh complaints...
Is a waste of time to address.
These folks...
Are not the 'Oh! -I've-got-it-now' kind.
Rapid is the information.
Too much perhaps,
But the facts are clear...
It is here.
To distribute to those who receive it.
And not here to give attention,
To those who don't!
And THAT is 'thee' reality!

Continuance of a Nonexistence
They spend the hours of each day,
In attempts...
To rejuvenate those times spent,
And gone.
Old songs played from school days,
Keep them reminded...
In a refined stagnation kept.
Fresh.
And unchanged.
Stuck in yesterday.
And not going to give it up...
Anytime soon!
Leaving what has been produced,
To accept tomorrow...
On a fast paced chase for them,
Who seek schedules to keep.
With times speeding ahead.
Without one hint of hesitation.
Regardless of who celebrates...
The continuance of a nonexistence,
Leaping away from many minds.

Hello Tomorrow
Hello tomorrow and good-bye to yesterday
We've been waiting for this moment
And we still don't know what to say
We may never find the answers or know the reason why
Why we both decided we should say good-bye
Nothing but good things are coming my way
If you are going please let me stay
You bring me down when I'm getting high
You turn me on I amplify
1 -2-3 times you've broken me (Broken Me)
I won't bleed like this forever
I'm down to ride but my wings are severed
Blindside blitz- evacuation
I'm stuck in hell your on vacation
1-2-3 times you've broken me (Broken Me)
I've been waiting
Waiting for the day
I've been waiting
Waiting for the day
I'm still waiting for tomorrow
Tired of living in yesterday
I've been waiting
Waiting for the day I'd be over you
Oceans, devotions, these notions run dry
Floating away and I don't know why
Spend all my days in a bottle thinking
You're like an anchor got me sinking
1-2-3 times you've broken me (broken me)
Say good-bye now and mean it forever
Got to move on and keep it together
Forget the things that you've said and you've done
That's in the past, here comes the sun
1-2-3 times you've broken me (broken me)
Repeat Chorus

Open Minds, Eyes, Ears and 'Dialogue
Making attempts,
To reach back for times...
That should have long been lived,
And put into existence THEN...
Will not do a thing for you 'now'.
And you were told that,
When those times then...
Were behind the times!
Just like a season or a holiday missed,
That has gone...
Think of your mind like that.
Something once here...
But now has gone.
Remember when you were teaching me,
And others a lesson by ignoring our suggestions?
Remember you made it a point to tell your friends,
You wish I'd learned how to mind my business...
And live my life,
Since you knew more about yours?
Well...
You should have seen these days,
We now live.
You and others like you...
Are the only ones asking, 'What is happening? '
Open minds, eyes, ears and 'dialogue'...
Should have revealed that to you!
And you were right...
I have learned to mind my own business.
As The World Turns,
I have One Life To Live...
To remain Bold and Beautiful.
And no more will I be giving my time,
To those who are Young and Restless...
In their minds.
I am not living for that kind of drama!

There Is Too Much to Be Enjoyed
If my needs are not met
I have no regret leaving
These days have activated
My wishes and dreams
And it seems too many
Have delayed theirs...
To put their lives on hold.
Waiting to behold
Glorious retirements
Sitting in backyards
Within fences to reminisce.
That kind of laziness
Is not on my top 10.
Pretending we live those days...
Are not these days we live.
If my needs are not met
I have no regret leaving
To get them fulfilled.
Times have changed.
And so have I.
Listening to excuse makers...
Is not on my agenda.
There is too much to be enjoyed,
To be annoyed by 'show and tell' folks.

Beauty today, Ugly tomorrow
Beauty and ugliness everywhere
Beauty in the eyes and mind of the admirer
Ugliness in the eyes and mind of the hater
Transformational reconstruction everywhere,
Driven by muscle and led by mind,
Tomorrow's eyes do not see the same as Yesterday's
Beauty today, ugly tomorrow
No guarantee beauty today will be beauty tomorrow
No guarantee ugliness today will be ugliness tomorrow
No guarantee structures standing today will be standing tomorrow
The world is beautiful by mankind
Man is forever in the chase of dirt
Today I live on my terms, tomorrow I watch and smile or cry
Today may look like tomorrow if wishes were horses
Tomorrow is uncertain
Everything in it is uncertain
Our wish ends in our hearts and minds
Our wish is castles in the air except today,
It is imaginary with no contract for reality
The brain is jelly in the minds of progeny
Our wish is noble in our minds,
Our wish is liquid in the minds of progeny
Today's life is dirt and gold like tomorrow it will be,
Today, tomorrow, yesterday, life is the same,
One purpose for living but different states, tastes and times,
Change is forever rolling by, spicing up states, tastes and times,
A turning wheel with no end
Milestones flashing past, no distance covered,

The Belief System
Some folks do things,
Because they want others to 'believe'...
They 'are' somebody.
Who knows what's up,
The sleeves of people like these.
And those folks with 'beliefs'
Who know they have 'always' been 'somebody'
Don't need to look for acknowledgement.
They are going to get it anyway.
Because of who they are!
And wherever they are...
Good deeds done,
Seem to be always something done they do.
There is no belief system used to convince.
There is an obviousness without the need to mention.
It is in the existence,
That transcends what may or may not be...
What comes forward off of people's lips,
For others to physically with their eyes see.
And...
It is not because of what they want others to believe!
That this is so,
From embellished exaggerations.
Entertaining and released from an implementation.
And fantasies from them born...
To come to life and grow!
It is in the observation,
That proves a deserving worthiness...
Upon which others bestow,
Those of merit that receive attention.
Leaving to be distanced,
Those folks who wish others to believe
They are 'somebody'.
And they are...
Provoked into some self serving action.

I've Heard Those Old Stories Told
'Everything' about me you see...
My Father God,
Has taught to me.
I've heard those old stories told,
About what folks have done...
To make my life easy and comfortable.
Especially told to others who did not know.
And who did what...
When I got myself into ruts.
'God...
I am so glad You know the real deal! '
And I wonder 'who' that might have been?
That came to my aid when I needed them.
Hmmm...
It's true,
I have had folks give me 'things'.
And money loaned I paid back.
I've had people to me make promises.
And I remember every one of them broken...
From the time I was a kid!
Hmmm...
I can't remember anyone,
Motivating my moves!
Only You,
My Father.
I could say my entire life has been spent...
With me doing the giving.
And to a degree that would be true.
Since several people I have known...
Have told lies.
That's all they did and still do.
And I use to listen to a whole lot of BS.
With attempts I made to correct some mess.
Do I now?
No!
'Everything' about me you see...
My Father God,
Has taught to me.
And the biggest lesson I have learned to date?
Do not hesitate in the waiting of others to approve!
You'd be a dried up old prune in the doing.
If you've been blessed with a gift,
You better give it and be done with it!
And let whoever say whatever!
Give folks who gossip some fuel,
To keep their lips moving.
And doing something bizarre...
While you're at it!
Learn to live without restrictions and limitations.
You and your time are not defined by those mindless.
Unless you let it!
Then whose truth do you ultimately live?
It wont be mine because I have my own to live!
Although I do give folks credit where it is due.
Like being witnesses...
To the gifts God has given to me.
That's it!
Anything else folks would like to claim...
Did not occur on my watch.
But I do understand,
Why some folks like to associate themselves...
With those who struggle through and win,
Their battles and conquer over grief!
Thank You God, Almighty!

A Way Chosen To Travel
Some things are better left unspoken.
Like being too direct,
When one should be more reflective.
Some folks have it in them,
To be objective.
When a few will intuitively know...
Which action to take,
And which ones to let go.
Some things are better left unspoken.
Or when said...
Should be as if a joke.
Folks are less inclined,
To become provoked...
When approached in a less serious manner.
Curbing conflict with more playful banter.
Then a listening is done with more intent...
When a punchline follows,
That is delivered and meant...
To knock some sense into minds,
Concreted stubbornly in cemented nonsense!
Some things are better left unspoken.
Like being too direct,
When one should be more reflective.
There is a way to invoke,
What should be heard and spoken.
And that road one wishes not to take alone...
With others one desires to follow,
Convinced and condoning...
That a way chosen to travel,
Was a decisive choice as collectively shown.

Run The Engines Up High
Jerry mcbee
Standing in this airport waiting all alone
Listening to the falling raindrops playing a lonely song
I didnt want to leave that girl, but I couldnt stay
But when the feelings gone, you know its gotta end just this way
Run the engines up high, get her ready to fly
Take me up and away, gonna find some better days
Run the engines up high, get her ready to fly
Leaving yesterdays sorrow, gonna chase tomorrow
When I step up on board this plane, Ill never look behind
Ill close my eyes and let the whining engines ease my mind
I may get off in dallas, or go on to l.a.
But anyway, Ive got some time to think a while along the way
Run the engines up high, get her ready to fly
Leaving yesterdays sorrow, Im gonna chase tomorrow
Run the engines up high, get her ready to fly
Take me up and away Im gonna find some better days.....

Thrusting In Robustness
The best antidote,
For folks who provoke others...
With druthers to prevent,
Any progressive, forward movement.
Just leave them alone!
They will get the hint.
And if they don't...
Why bother to care?
Or stay there to consent?
With a stagnation of sentiments.
You would have left them to breathe fresher air.
Aware your steps,
Have been taken to keep them distanced!
Choosing to live your life,
Adventuring.
And if you like...
With a flair you welcome that is dared!
Hopefully to be shared,
With others thrusting in robustness!

Run Wild
Open hearts
Empty spaces
Dusty roads
To distant places
But all the time
When Im alone
I think of you
And how youve grown
Far and wide
Sweet and simple
Jehovah knows
That Ive been sinful
But if jesus comes to take your hand
I wont let go, I wont let go
Im not cruel
And youre not evil
And were not like
All those stupid people
Who cant decide
Which book to read
Unless the paper
Sows deceit
Youre the kind of person
That Ive always wanted to be with
Well youre really cool
And you always say the right things to me
But now Ill tell you something
From my heart beats for you deep inside
But never be a burden
And my love for you will never die, never die, never die, never die, never die
But if jesus comes to take your hand
I wont let go, I wont let go
But if jesus comes to take your hand
I wont let go, I wont let go
Good times around the corner
Good times around the corner
Good times around the corner
I swear its getting warmer
Good times around the corner
Good times around the corner
Good times around the corner
Im gonna live til I die
Im gonna live to get high

Never Give Up
There are things in life
Can't be talked about
They only can be lived
They just keep passing by
Infront of our eyes
The stories of our lives
Makes us what we are
Every ones past includes its future within
What we have planted at past we harvest its seeds
Sometimes unconscious of our faults we take wrong steps unknown
Sometimes the life seems to us like a purple colored cartoon story books
Where the legends are always the winner heroes when the story ends
At the end of the book with proud smile upon face we turn the page down
Ah but they stay and live there inside us The colorful stories legendary character's which always and always are the heroes of every story anyways
And we figure them out there in our minds the ideal ones
As we grow up picturing out the ideal life as we had pictured it out in our minds that we used to dream about
We color the life as we want it to be forgetting about realities
There misery comes out with smiling faces covered with ugliness of the simplicity we fall in faults unaware
But somehow at the near future we harvest the weeds of our deeds disappointment slaps us there
Sometimes we understand it and sometimes don't,
Sometimes we forget and we reach out for God to blame
Some of us have special abilities to find a victim to hung on them the blame of their regrets
Forgetting that everyone is the only responsible of every decision that he takes
But the life is going on never stand there behind a regret like a grave
The grave of your faults and regrets they will never be changed
As the one who's dead under the grave which no tear would make him rise up of the grave
So are our faults and regrets never-ending circular that repeats running around itself
Just stand up and never blame anyone including yourself
Faults we do gives us the strength and the ability to discover the secrets of the life
And with the time we graduate from the greatest school in the world that's called school of the life.

Day's
Yesterday It has came and gone
Once again secretly it has left us behind
Now all we have is regrets and past wishes
And the many dreams we never did find.
Those days are now part of our memory
While we might think back to why didn't I
But then remorse we will always remember
While we always question ourselves just why.
Tomorrow it will never be here
As tomorrow will always be tomorrow
That is were we put our dreams and our hopes
And where we escape from our sadness and sorrow.
It is the days that we do dread
And the days that we hope and pray to arrive
Where love is held and deadlines our met
But some how they never do survive.
Today is all that we are guaranteed
As we are promised no future or even past
We are here now so we much cherish that
As in the end that is all that might ever last.
We must live and learn by the day
So we must enjoy every second that we live
Never to put off till tomorrow do it today
As today is the only day that we hold captive.

Misery Is All They See
It appears as though those most miserable,
Are the ones holding onto the notion
That yesterday was a better place to live than today.
And things then could be better...
Only if yesterday came back.
With selected memories allowed to tap.
There is a denial attached wanted back.
And the facts today have saddled them with sadness.
Unhappiness keeps them wishing.
Reminisced times confines them to lost dreams.
They find themselves stuck in a rut.
They wont give up their sorrows!
But...
Nothing shared or said about reality,
Frees or releases their grief.
Everyday they say, 'Things aren't the way they used to be! '
And everyday tomorrow never comes.
Even today for them has been delayed.
They refuse to live it!
No time of themselves do they wish to give it.
Misery is all they see.
With a wish to breathe it in its totality!
And identifying that...
Helps them attract more sadness to carry,
On their backs.
'I need more! Give me more!
What will I do without it? '
And the act of it keeps them seduced.
Like a habit loved they will not surrender.
Or ignore the sickness of its pleasure to abuse...
Over and over again like a willing victim,
Denying its end for them!

Seven Days A Week And Tweaked
When I filled to the brim,
Knowing my hip hop days were over.
And mentally I had graduated,
To levels with a taking of my life seriously.
Something within me had to address foolishness.
With a leaving behind several people,
Who still today wish to stay in playful arenas.
And can not seem to find,
A structure that defines order in their minds.
To excuse their choices made as having a good time!
Seven days a week and tweaked to celebrated...
Those times lived.
And how they use to be in those old days long gone,
They can not let go!

As If Invisible
There is nothing done,
In front of their faces...
Or heard coming from behind their backs,
Can they say with convincing eye contact...
They were not aware of or did not know.
They can,
However...
Name it something else,
To leave as is...
But it is as it shows.
By the ones awakened,
Without their minds closed.
If they with their minds closed,
Had been hit by a truck...
And could not get up,
They would lay there and not be helped.
As if invisible,
By everyone else...
With familiar and similar mindsets.
From Sunrise to Sunset.
But if they are pricked and felt a pinch,
They would then exclaim...
Someone has made an attempt,
To threaten their lives.
Even though they could not identify...
Who or why the doer would do this.
Although they then would know...
Something was felt to complain about.
Something they still could not describe.

Found To Find More Capable
If one has to be kept reminded,
Of what another has prioritized not to forget...
Perhaps the importance of what is shared,
Should be discussed with a caring done...
To determine which one,
Has enough of that left to spare.
Some people just nod their heads in agreement,
With other things on their minds...
Found to find more capable to entertain,
At selected chosen times.
And have grown accustomed to listening,
To what they regard as insignificant yet familiar noise.

Old Days
Old days
Good times I remember
Fun days
Filled with simple pleasures
Drive-in movies
Comic books and blue jeans
Howdy doody
Baseball cards and birthdays
Take me back
To a world gone away
Memories
Seem like yesterday
Old days
Good times I remember
Gold days
Days Ill always treasure
Funny faces
Full of love and laughter
Funny places
Summer nights and streetcars
Take me back
To a world gone away
Boyhood memories
Seem like yesterday
Old days - in my mind and in my heart to stay
Old days - darkened dreams of good times gone away
Old days - days of love and feeling fancy free
Old days - days of magic still so close to me
Old days - in my mind and in my heart to stay
Old days - darkened dreams of good times gone away
Old days - days of love and feeling fancy free
Old days - days of magic still so close to me
