Barack Obama

It is claimed he is inexperienced.
It is claimed he is too young.
It is claimed he is of mixed heritage.
And his mother is white...
And his father is a native African son!
It is claimed he is intelligent.
A good father.
A husband with a black mate.
It is claimed he is honest.
It is claimed he is degreed.
It is claimed people love him.
And he is a Harvard graduate?

I 'hope' like hell these are not allegations...
Because he is perfect to lead this swill,
Out of the cesspool of sewage
That has been seeping for decades!
What is his name?

'Oh-Bula, Oh Bumba, OBala, Oh...?
Baracka...Bolaka?
Barack Obama!
Yes.
That's it I think!
I don't know exactly.
But someone from those Star Wars movies!
Your Majesty...
I believe our prayers will be answered.
He 'reeks' with truth.
You have to see it for yourself.
It's incredible.
AND...
He has the gall to have published,
For all...
His flaws and blemishes! '

OH REALLY?
You're kidding!
Someone affliated
With those George Lucas
And Steven Spielberg productions?
Someone appearing before us,
Without hidden agendas...
OR seductions?

Yes, yes!
Send him in immediately.
He is the 'chosen' One!
He will lead this 'Federation'!

Play the theme upon his entrance.
I want him to feel he has found a home!
We've got to 'sell' our new mission,
To the people.
They have been hungry for this guy!
Send him right in!
I can not believe this!
Someone who dares to expose himself...
Without disguise?
Send that guy in here.
Immediately!

Whyd You Lie To Me

Why did you lie to me?
Cant be trusted, good for nothing type of brother
Everything you claimed to be was a lie, lie
Why did you lie to me?
Youve been creepin, sneekin, sleepin with another
Messed up, its time to leave, so bye, bye
Used to treat me like a queen
Said I was your everything
Promised me that you would never cheat, on me
But I found a number on the floor
And I wont take it no more
Baby it feels so crazy thinkin youd be true to me, yeah
(tell me baby) did you really think?
(I would maybe) I turn the other cheak and
(and let you play me) I thought you were different but your like the rest its true
Why did you lie to me?
Cant be trusted, good for nothing type of brother
Everything you claimed to be was a lie, lie
Why did you lie to me?
Youve been creepin, sneekin, sleepin with another
Messed up, its time to leave, so bye, bye
Yeah
Ooh, last time you played me like a fool
Now its time I loose my cool
Aint no way youll ever get another chance
Why did you just claimed to be so true
When I gave my world to you
All you wanna do is hang on the edge of the line
(tell me baby) did you really think?
(I would maybe) I turn the other cheak and
(and let you play me) ooh, but I flipped it all for you
(why did you lie to me? ) uh
Cant be trusted, good for nothing type of brother
Everything you claimed to be (was a lie, lie) it was a lie, lie yeah
(why did you lie to me? ) ooooh oooh
Youve been creepin, (sneekin, sleepin with another) hey yeah ooh
(messed up, its time to leave), so bye, bye
(tell me baby) did you really think?
(I would maybe) I turn the other cheak and
(and let you play me) ooh, but I flipped it all for you
(whyd you... lie to me) aah haa
(whyd you... lie to me) oooh oooh ooh oh

(whyd you... lie to me) whyd you lie to me
Why did you lie to me?

Why did you lie to me?
Youve been creepin, sneekin, sleepin with another
Messed up, its time to leave, so bye, bye, yeah

He Is Asking What To Do When The Love Is Gone?

over a bottle of beer on top of his loquacious spirit
he is asking me: what to do when love is gone?

i throw back the question to him: what did you do when love was there?
and he says, he was in high spirits, he did all the thing he thought he cannot do
he grew flowers in the garden he painted the house anew
with white and blue and red and yellow
he laughed so well and claimed he was so happy
he loved so well and claimed he was in bliss

and so now that love is gone, i must tell him
just do the usual things when love was once there
there is nothing to lose, except that love that you have taken for granted

Close To Greatness

at one stage in my life
I met a man who claimed to have
visited Pound at St. Elizabeths.

then I met a woman who not only
claimed to have visited
E.P.
but also to have made love
to him—she even showed
me
certain sections in the
Cantos
where Ezra was supposed to have
mentioned
her.

so there was this man and
this woman
and the woman told me
that Pound had never
mentioned a visit from this
man
and the man claimed that the
lady had had nothing to do
with the
master
that she was a
charlatan

and since I wasn't a
Poundian scholar
I didn't know who to
believe
but one thing I do
know: when a man is
living
many claim relationships
that are hardly
so
and after he dies, well,
then it's everybody's
party.

my guess is that Pound
knew neither the lady or the
gentleman

or if he knew
one
or if he knew
both

it was a shameful waste of
madhouse
time.

Claimed to Confirm

If a depthness of thought one has is rumored,
It is best for the one that is claimed to have it...
To keep it rumored.
Not claimed to confirm.
To claim it is to acknowledge that process of thought,
One has...
Is noticeable and may offend those who depend on rumor,
To obtain their wisdom and knowledge.

Within Cliques of Gossips

There are those programmed and convinced...
People they assumed they knew,
With conversations had with others...
Family, friends and a collection of a chosen few,
Were people that they knew.

But when asked, none had close talks...
With the one claimed known.
And the one claimed known...
Had not a clue as to what was going on.
Other than the usual assumptions that take place,
Within cliques of gossips.

There are those who have created,
Lifestyles of others in their minds.
With sexual preferences believed known discussed.
With the goings on in the privacy of their homes,
And with whom they lust.

There are those programmed and self convinced...
People they assumed they knew,
With conversations had with others...
Family, friends and a collection of a chosen few,
Were people that they knew.

Until they got the opportunity to meet them.
And then became quite upset...
That those they met,
Were quite different...
Than the people they had kept in their minds.

Only to find themselves,
Living too confined and behind fast times.
To leave a narrow perception of life,
Left to go unaddressed.

Where Are The Others

I'm the only one you can think of to come,
When the end of a rope...
A dangling you do has been done.
And you are upset because I express no regret,
When a life you chose to live...
You did with the showing to me much disrespect.

When I suffered through my needs,
You weren't there to assist.
When I sat in loneliness and cried for years...
Not one time during that period did you appear.

And now you are here on my doorstep to say...
What you should have done,
Could have been done my way.
But the advice I gave,
You refused to accept another.

Where are the others,
You claimed to be your brothers.
Where are the others,
You followed to leave me behind...
In a grief you didn't seem to mind,
At that time.

Where are the others?
Those who you claimed,
To have been your close brothers.
Where are your...
Brothers?

The Passion

If they only owned love, shown love, grown love, like this before
If they only knew love, true love, to love, like this before
If they only gave love, saved love, brave love, like this before
If they only called love, love love, called love, like this before
If theyd only showed love, they owed love, owed love, like this before
If they only showed love, they owed love, owed love, like this before
If they only knew love, true love, to love, like this before
If they only gave love, saved love, brave love, like this before
If they only showed love, they owed love, they owed love, like this before
La la la la la, la la la la, la la la la la, La la la la la...
Like this before
If they ever showed love, they owed love, they owed love, they owed love
If they ever showed love, they owed love, they owed love, like this before
Oh, oh, oh, oh, yeah
La la la la la, la la la la, la la la la la, la la la la...
If they only claimed love, claimed love, claimed love
They maintened love
Instead they drained love, stained love
They didnt control love, my soul loves a whole love, like this before
Received the same love
If they didnt regret love, forget love, say they never met love
If they will love, dont kill love, just be still love (x4)

Basically Into Themselves

People feel and see,
What directly affects.
If it is not prioritized...
They do not get upset.

When winds change,
And blame is claimed...
Those once unconcerned,
Seek attention on them aimed.

An effectiveness is expected then.
When folks feel inconvenienced,
And their whims become threatened.

But prior to that no complaints are heard.
People are basically into themselves...
Until their own footsteps,
Have been blocked or blurred.

In a collective unity,
People find no comfort in that reality.
That sensibility,
Disturbs their 'selfish' and isolated normalcy!

People feel and see,
What directly affects.
If it is not prioritized...
They do not get upset.

However...
When winds change,
And blame is claimed...
Those once unconcerned,
Seek attention upon them aimed.

George W

When George W finally got there,
His mommy made him swear
To listen to one of daddy’s tips,
Namely, “Don’t ever say… read my lips”.

George W. never said he was real smart
So right from the very start
Among his advisors he wanted an ace
To cover for that lost look on his face.

Well, it didn’t work so George had to confess.
Even in his inaugural address.
He referred to euthanasia twice at least…
And pledged to visit them in the Far East.

With Latin America George promised to be fair
By learning to speak Latin before going there.
Before tackling the Mideast, he thought perhaps
He’d better take a look at his high school maps.

George W. said Gore put up quite a fight
And had to admit Al usually was right.
But George claimed victory by the courts’ rules;
He claimed more votes in those electric schools.

He’s now president; don’t count another chad.
No matter what happens, half the folks’ll be mad.

If I Resign Today There Will Be Chaos

It was February the 3rd 2011 when
Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak
made his famous scare fear prediction
'If I Resign Today There Will Be Chaos'.

Mubarak claimed he was sincerely troubled?
By violence the world had seen in Liberation
Tahrir Square over preceding days he claimed
his government was innocent not responsible?

Mubarak blamed the Muslim Brotherhood
a banned political party persecuted in Egypt.
But Mubarak supporters violence launched
against anti-government protesters innocent.

Mubarak claimed he 'was very unhappy about
yesterday. [stating] I do not want to see Egyptians
fighting each other.' Mubarak had hoped to rout
humiliate publicly defeat opponent protesters.

When asked what he thought seeing the people
shouting insults about him and wanting him gone
Mubarak said, 'I don't care what people say about
me... I care about my country, I care about Egypt.'

Mubarak claimed he wanted to resign but could not
'for Fear of the Country Falling into Chaos.' Egypt
will sink into chaos if I resign there will be chaos at
least eight people had died hundreds were injured in

violent clashes between his supporters and anti-
government protesters since Wednesday that is chaos

pride comes before a fall was Mubarak the leader
really unfazed by insults being hurled at him by
protesters demanding his immediate resignation?
According to quotes he wavered when asked about

his attitude toward his main ally the US which had been
pushing for him to resign because Washington gives
Egypt about $1.5 billion in mostly military aid annually
in a statement like Gaddafi would soon make he said

'You don't understand the Egyptian culture and what
would happen if I step down now' Mubarak said he told
US President Barack Obama while reportedly he remained
guarded in Cairo in the presidential palace with his family

heavily guarded by troops tanks barbed wire in safety?
Egypt's largest protests in a generation were clearly
demanding democratic economic reforms immediately
while analysts were estimating the Mubarak family net

worth ranged from $40 billion to $70 billion a calculation
not based upon the billions Egyptian protests were costing.
Chaos might happen? Chaos was already business costing.
One man's chaos is another man's democracy celebration.

Several months on Mubarak is gone? There is no chaos.
Democracy in Egypt will prove to be an Egyptian vision.

Just A Gimmick Used To Convince

If people were as territorially protective,
With a pride that motivated as is claimed...
It would be shown in their appearances.
With no mistaking of this visually.
It would be observed to be seen,
Like other games played.

And yet...
What is heard and unmistaken,
Is a desire to feed more greed.
A desire to be entertained socially.
And an increase in pay,
For everything done they do.
Even if that means picking up a broom,
To sweep both front and back...
With a keeping clean,
Those places where they live.

If people were as territorially protective,
With a pride that motivated as is claimed...
It would be shown in their appearances.
With no mistaking of this visually.
It would be observed to be seen.
But it isn't.
It's just a gimmick used to convince,
Minds already delusioned and deceived.

Ashamed To Honour Symbolic Death Crucifixion?

this one polished show claimed to be a Christian
yet when rare gifted he was with two unique poems
powerfully written in embodied bold Holy Spirit
this one swiftly destroyed these unique blessings

claimed people might believe him a religious nut
disciples of Jesus originally fear denounced Christ
in shock terror mortal fear for their threatened lives
followers fearing flogging crucifixion a criminal death

later disciples Holy Spirit lead witnessed their truth
were prepared to die and did for Christ their master
this one thinks martyr's crown in heaven foolishness
of five crowns worn in heaven martyrs crown highest

why of the five crowns is martyrs crown highest?
worn only by Christian martyrs who died in Christ
this one renounces Christ's name as inconvenient
is ashamed to honour symbolic death crucifixion?

On Hearing Of The Death Of Kevin Hickey

Sad news a news that travels far and wide
And I was told of how young Kevin Hickey died
On the Shannaknock road of his car he lost control
And the reaper claimed his body not his soul.

He was pre-deceased by his Mother Kathleen
And his better days in life he had not seen
And his father John is left to bear sorrow's cross
And grieve the tragedy of his heart-breaking loss.

And though the accident that claimed young Kevin's life happened a few years ago
The scars of grief to heal are always slow
And the pain at the loss of his son in such a tragic way
With John Hickey till his own end will stay.

At the spot where Kevin died John erected a grotto as a memorial to his son
And it would seem that is as much as anyone could have done
To honour some one that they loved so dear
Such stories of love are heartening to hear.

I have heard of how young Kevin Hickey died
And such sad news does travel far and wide
And his remains will rest in peace forever more
But his soul lives on the soul has wings to soar.

I would if I could I’d make a poem

Auditions

I would if I could I’d make a poem
the best you have ever seen
Then you’d see me as I see you
when I see your heart in me

I know I’ll need all the right words
and all in their proper places
I may also need a miracle, If
I’m to capture your embraces

I arranged to hold auditions
but so many words applied
‘big ones pushing to the front
the small ones knocked aside

Piled high in the wings together
all contending for position
Each one claiming a special
gift, an emotion or a mission

Some claimed subtleties of meanings
beyond their usage or their years
Others claimed ‘lyrical syncopation’
like some lexiconic engineers

One insisted – it could offer
Rhythm, Rhyme and alliteration
And simile and harmony
and a yet more syncopation

Those that failed were outraged
making war on the chosen few
in the end my poem collapsed
when they tore the thing in two

As I walked out at the end of the day
with my dreams of love deflated
I saw you with them in a bar nearby
singing a song that they’d created…..

…………………….My piccolo is a big oboe
…………………….beside your synthesizer
…………………….so bang my drum
…………………….and I’ll bite your bum
…………………….and we’ll have fun for hours

What do you mean?
The hell you were?
What, you were auditioning me?
What's he got that I don't?

…………………….My piccolo is a big oboe
…………………….beside your synthesizer
…………………….so bang my drum
…………………….and I’ll bite your bum
…………………….and we’ll have fun for hours

Because...

Because...
The sense you make,
It goes a little bit deeper.
Because...
You see defects,
And you are claimed tom peeper.
Because...
You do speak up,
And you know you can succeed.
Because...
Your mind's at ease.
You seem to reek of quality.

Some wont believe,
There are not too many people,
That are strong like that.
Some can't conceive,
There are not too many people,
With stress packed on their backs.
Some can't perceive,
There are not too many people,
Who will tell you where it's at.

Because...
The sense you make,
It goes a bit deeper.
Because...
You see defects,
And you are claimed a peeper.
Because...
You speak up,
And you know you can succeed.
Because...
Your mind is at ease.
You're not the one to beg on knees!

People might say some things...
Just to pick and irritate.
And then somebody comes along,
Who makes them player haters...
By the comments said and made.

Because...
The sense you make,
It goes a bit deeper.
Because...
You see defects,
And you are claimed a peeper.
Because...
You speak up,
And you know you can succeed.
Because...
Your mind's at ease.
You're not the one to beg on knees.
You're not the one to please another,
With lies to feed.

Because...
You're not the one to beg on your knees.
You're not the one to please another,
With lies to feed.

Because...
You're not the one to please another,
With lies to feed.
That's why they believe...
What you say they can leave.

Because...
What you say is not to believe.
That's why you're treated less than equal,
By your physicality.

That's why you're treated less than equal,
As some perceive.
Because...
That's why you're treated less than equal,
As some believe.
But deep inside of them your thoughts live and breathe.

But deep inside of them your thoughts live and breathe.
That's why you're treated less than equal,
As some perceive.
Because...
That's why you're treated less than equal,
As some believe.
