As the Caretakers of 'Your' Interests
Ladies and gentlemen...
It has come to our attention,
Many of you are homeless and starving.
And those of you who are not...
Are close to those experiences.
However...
We wish to inform you,
As the caretakers of 'your' interests...
And well being,
We...
Those you have elected to keep you,
From hitting rock bottom and hitting brick walls...
Are doing our utmost best to impress you,
With the acknowledgement...
That our concerns are 'your' concerns.
And...
Rest assured,
We are 'not' just maintaining those impressions!
But,
We are also...
Spending sleepless hours,
Ensuring our imitation of leaders...
Best represent your expectations!
So until further notice...
Please allow our performances to continue,
With your endorsements.
That alone,
Will help us succeed in keeping your beliefs alive.
Keep in mind...
None of this would exist without your support.

Thank you very much ladies and gentlemen. Id like to do this next song especially for you. and for the king.
Well....
I walk up to the mike and and then I shake my hips
I take a deep breath and put a snare on my lips
See me on the street you wouldnt know my name
But imitating elvis is my claim to fame
So when you put my imitation name in lights
Therell be imitation good rockin tonight
Cuz Im an an elvis imitator and I just cant stop
Imitating elvis from the bottom to the top
Imitate the way he talked, the way he smiled
I throw away my scarf and make the crowd go wild
This imitation elvis may not be the king
But baby Im the next best thing
Singing viva las vegas and the g.i. blues
Wont you love me tender in my blue suede shoes
Well let me be your teddy bear, if you must
Oh baby please surrender, cause I need your touch
Well if you feelin lonely, need a place to dwell
Come on down to imitation heartbreak hotel
Chorus:
Were gonna rock (rock rock rock)
Ooooh were gonna rock (rock rock rock)
Ooooh were gonna rock (rock rock rock)
Ooooh were gonna rock (rock rock rock)
Yeah my gold lamee cape and my sequined suit
Pompadou haircut and my high-heeled boots
Imitating elvis is the only way
I can make it through my imitation day
I know this rocking music cant be denied
cause I was imitating him before he died
Well Im an an elvis imitator and I just cant stop
Imitating elvis from the bottom to the top
I imitate the way he walked, the way he smiled
I throw away my scarf and make the crowd go wild
This imitation elvis may not be the king
But baby Im the next best thing
Chorus:
Yeah rock (rock rock rock)
Ooooh were gonna rock (rock rock rock)
Ooooh were gonna rock (rock rock rock)
Ooooh were gonna rock (rock rock rock)
Well baby ... its the next ... best thing

To Who It Concerns
to who it concerns
My homework will be late
It fell onto my pancakes
and stuck to my plate
To who it Concerns
My mom made me write this
and I'm just a kid
so how can i fight this
To who it concerns
I lost my assignment
maybe I'll get lucky
solitary confinement
To who it concerns
I just turned 15
too short to be shortstop
too plain to be queen
to who it concerns
I'm great with a ball
but boys don't watch tomboys
as they're cruising the hall
to who it concerns
I'm not made of steel
when I get blind sighted
my pain is quite real
i don't mean to squawk
but it really burns
so I thought i'd just mention it
to who it concerns

From Varying Segments of Our Society
Today,
Ladies and gentlemen...
We have invited representatives
To voice their concerns
From varying segments of our society.
We have a representative from the grassroots.
One from those who feel our educational system
Is in need of attention.
And someone who will voice the immigrant point of view.
Now...
Let's begin our forum with the grassroot outlook,
Shall we?
'Yes. And I thank you for this opportunity.
First and foremost...
Giving honor to that which is most precious.
We can not affectively proceed with a diminished horizon,
Beset by the limiting effects of sunlight that does not shine
Upon those who make strides to leave footprints in fading sand.
And yet we must keep a projection of depth that precludes,
A stopping of the mocking of a flock in desperate need of rejoicing.
Without a sparking to enlighten tomorrow's feeding...
No one will know the meaning of such proclivities that unite,
Comprehension! '
Uh...okay! Very well stated. With a clarity unbelieved.
Thank you for making us all aware of what affects those
Who are of the 'grassroot' inclinations!
Next?
'Yes. I represent those who are concerned of our educational needs.
We need to lower the drinking age of those who matriculate,
On our college campuses! '
That is currently being address by the congressional committees!
Good point and an immediate priority!
Last...
But not least.
We have a representative who will explain immigrant concerns!
'I thank you, Mister Chairman!
It is clear to us that our needs for higher wages, housing...
And the discrimination to have all illegal aliens,
To be licensed drivers...
Is an injustice not only to me, but
To all of us who feel we should live in this country tax free...
Do as we please and change everything to reflect our bilingual
Presence in this country we so love.
And we need as much money as possible to feed our relatives,
Who have not been fortunate enough to escape the armed guards
Protecting the borders! That needs to be addressed...NOW! '
Don't worry about that process.
We are just going through the motions.
You all come and go as you please.
You're doing it anyway!
And there you have it, Ladies and Gentlemen.
Each group has been represented magnificently.
And those concerns addressed will gain the attention...
That has been addressed by a directness
Quite unlike we have come to hear before.
And those on our panel will begin to process,
Those concerns immediately!

I Owe You A Depth Of Gratitude
Remember...
They are there to represent 'your' interests.
Your standards.
Your way of life.
Your depiction of normalcy.
And from what I've seen...
Your decision to label me an outcast?
Brings a comfort to my consciousness.
At least I now know,
Those ambitions I had wishing to fit in...
Have been saved by your acknowledgement,
That I didn't.
I owe you a depth of gratitude.
But I will admit,
I did have my doubts for a very long time.
And a not fitting in...
Is today,
The least of my concerns.

To whom it concerns
To whom it concerns
I yelled at my teacher
but who cares he airn't no precher
To whom it concerns
my homework is going to be late
I will jst say it fell on my panckes and stuck to the plate
To whom it concerns
I faled my test
no one cares
that i did my best
To whom it concerns
I see alot
no one cares about the fight that we fought
To whom it concerns
I see alot of pain
but don't worry
this is just the begining of the lain.

No. Of Course Not
They are right.
Standards and values have been ruined.
A quality of life has been slipping down the drain.
Nothing depicted as a wholesomeness,
No longer exists.
Nothing of it seems to remain.
And those elected to represent their interests...
Seem to have turned their backs on this.
And yet this acknowledgement...
Appeared from nowhere overnight.
Who possibly could be held accountable,
For keeping so many blinded and totally unaware?
Could it be...
The lust for greed and the various varieties of it?
No.
Of course not.

Bouts With Hard Knocks
I wish I did awaken to become intelligent and wise.
As if a crawling on my knees and facing emotional turmoil,
Would have been prevented.
And those experiences did not attached themselves,
To a mind in a head addicted to hitting against walls.
Or fists hitting up against bricks,
And having bouts with hard knocks.
If 'only' I knew I was intelligent and wise,
My life would have been a lot easier.
And I would not have been left so scarred...
Damaged and a bit bruised,
But on the road to recovery with patience and years...
Under my belt.
Or in my head!
Wherever that patience I keep treasured is.

Your Interests And Mine Are Different
Supporting your efforts,
Does not mean I am an advocate...
To campaign for your beliefs.
The doing of that is not on my agenda.
Unless you are requesting my presence.
I admire what you do,
Because it is seldom seen.
Those motivated with initiative,
In the doing of anything but complain...
Is a rarity nowadays and seems to be unchanged.
But your beliefs and mine are not the same.
So don't confuse my support of your conviction,
As an attraction to your interests.
Your interests and mine are different.
And I hope you appreciate my admitting of this.
And when you address your interests and efforts,
Try not to do that to impress.
Do it because it is what you do.
With a doing that includes 'your' happiness,
To keep prioritized.

Walls
Walls of stone and walls of brick,
Some walls thin and some walls thick,
Walls so high and walls so low,
Walls to hide and walls to show.
Walls quite short and walls quite tall,
Some walls, last well, some walls fall,
Walls for comfort, walls of hate,
Walls for security, walls ornate.
Some as a barricade, some to support,
Walls of wood and walls of iron wrought,
Walls as a barrier, walls to enclose,
Some are to sit on, some to lean and doze.
Walls we build ourselves, these aren't good,
Walls for privacy, walls that have stood,
So many years through weather foul or fine,
Walls, that are yours, walls that are mine.
Brick by brick they are built to last,
Whether built now or in the past,
They shelter us from so many things,
And shield us from whatever this life brings.

Drink A Cup Of Coffee
How suddenly things change,
From those priorities...
We once had given them.
It seems just yesterday,
We all were seeking with beliefs...
There were those more concerned,
About our experiences as human beings.
To only discover,
They were more interested in representing...
A need to continue feeding their own self interests.
With an acknowledgement that all we required,
Was to be entertained appropriately.
And kept from being disturbed by the truth.
How suddenly things change,
From those priorities...
We once had given them.
And today more people seem to be awakening,
To the corrupted shady doings...
A commitment to sleeping had permitted to exist.
'I can not 'BELIEVE' what has been going on! '
~Here...
Drink a cup of coffee! ~
'You know I am trying to stay away from caffeine.'
~You've stay away long enough.
Here...
Drink this stuff up.
And forget about having it sweet and low.
You have been sweetened to your lowest.~

The leaders I met, whatever walk of life they were from, whatever institutions they were presiding over, always referred back to the same failure something that happened to them that was personally difficult, even traumatic, something that made them feel that desperate sense of hitting bottom--as something they thought was almost a necessity. It's as if at that moment the iron entered their soul that moment created the resilience that leaders need.

Socialistic
So many are now expressing their concerns,
Whether,
If elected...
He will continue to protect their interests.
They are beginning to voice a distrust for him.
Because of his global popularity.
And, of course,
His color of skin!
'Which interests?
Which ones? '
The ones that fed their greed.
As they consciously chose to leave,
Millions hungry and in poverty!
The ones that left them unconcerned,
About the homeless.
Those disenfranchised.
Those disadvantaged...
They were taught to despise.
Those they denied and refused a morsel,
Of an economic abundance that fed their gluttony!
Until they depleted their most recent feast!
Or...
Their self centered, self righteous...
Christian based religious pulchritude.
With mindsets grounded,
In accomplishing victorious nationalistic snobbish attitudes...
Wished to be kept maintained!
Which ones?
You take your pick!
'Geeessshhh...
If he concerned himself with any of that,
He wouldn't have time to be the leader of all people.
He could not address all of their needs.'
Exactly!
But I do 'think' this has been taken into consideration!
And he and his advisors have matters completely understood.
Remember...
He has advocated for 'change'.
And this dude,
Unlike the others before him...
Is totally disciplined and focused!
'Wow!
What is ahead for all of us? '
Either way...
There will be definite change coming!
Some have predicted,
It will be 'Socialistic'!
'You mean like the government take over of banks,
To enforce a more communal outlook? '
That's already happened!
Let's say...
You will become more concerned,
About your neighbor's well being!
On a more enlightened global level.

Those Kept On The Bottom Relate
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom,
Relate.
Keeping patience for them,
Has a message to send.
'Cause,
People feel more pinned in.
'Cause,
Struggles for them don't end.
'Cause,
Promises don't pay the rent.
Or decisions not to eat,
Because they wish to look thin.
Those kept on the bottom relate.
Those kept on the bottom relate.
Those kept on the bottom relate.
Those kept on the bottom,
Relate.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom keep keeping on.
Those kept on the bottom,
Relate.

The only part of the conduct of any one, for which he is amenable to society, is that which concerns others. In the part which merely concerns himself, his independence is, of right, absolute. Over himself, over his own body and mind, the individual is sovereign.

Need Not Look Any Further
Our interests have been,
In the support of our common greed.
Anyone now upset,
About the direction our government has set...
Need not look any further,
Than their own doorsteps!
Those beliefs,
You wish not now to receive as guests...
Have arrived upon your request and invitation!
Regardless if you are not prepared.
You and those who had expressed common needs...
Have chosen what has been delivered!
And you say you seek relief?
There have been those pleading for that...
But as you passed them on their knees,
You ignored their pleas!
To rush and greet your own concerns!
There is a lesson to be learned.
But like all things that are taught...
Some elect to pick from those teachings,
The ones that reflect their choice.
The ones that now infest the air,
With the loudest voices...
Some declare aren't really theirs!
But stare glaring to become denied.

This Has Got To Be for The Love!
Do they wish to impress?
Or do they live just to do it,
As part of a 'self' consciousness.
Conscious their gifts exist.
And it is not with impressions,
Expressed with a witnessed unlimited giving.
It is who they are.
And that is done at their best.
To simply impress comes as no effort.
To those who are blessed...
To progress through stress.
And produce the unexpected.
Without getting needed rest.
And this...
Has got to be for the love!

To Attest To It
You're very much humane!
With your love towards me and of your concerns;
To attest to it,
For the very intent,
To support me,
For, everything in this life is possible! !
And, to attest to it from my experiences,
Because, you're very much humane.

Riding With Cats Eyes Nine Lives
riding with cats eyes nine lives
riding in dark or moonlight
riding in cloud shadow or rain
riding with a lucky stars roll
riding at speed in night magic
hitting judder bars in darkness
hitting judder bars hard fast
hitting judder bars all alone
hitting judder bars straight on
hitting judder bars at speed
is heightened airborne rush
is riding racing death in night
is riding in night fed wonder
is heightened seconds flying
is ready road rocket launch pad
