Are You Wasting Your Life?
'Are you wasting your life? '
How would anyone know?
If you have decided to find it worthless.
If you have defined it...
As a waste!
Prior to opening that question,
You have already chosen it...
As a closed debate!
If you are looking for confirmation,
You have to look within not 'without'!
And it appears...
You have looked about outside of yourself,
To qualify your existence.
A self obsession with less,
Has already been declared!
And you have not been 'there' within yourself at all!
You seek a definition,
That will never satisfy what you would like to hear!
So 'if' your life is a waste to you...
Why bother to disperse the trash?
Why bother to even ask?
You have already decided,
Your selfishness exists!

Life-Why Do I Bother?
I wonder why people bother when they fight
There is no real reason to possess life
Constantly plagued in a world of hopelessness
They say dreams exists in the hectics of life
This is hard to believe for I posses nothing of value
Every time I wake up it's closer to ending my life
I find it hard to want to fight when you possess nothing
I find it hard to even bother with the direction of my life
Somehow though I still seem to bother with this
I still seem to participate in the hell we call life

Strangely enough, through all those school years I decided at 13 or 14 I was going to be a musician and so school was just something to get out of the way, a waste of time and not to bother with it.
This Is An Independent Production
For you,
There is a need to keep me reminded...
That I don't 'act' right.
Or do those things you find suitable.
And I've decided,
If you did not like my performances...
Why do you bother to solicit my attention,
By the mentioning of your dislike for my act.
If you say I don't 'act' right,
Why is that of your concern?
Unless you are hinting,
I will see less of you around?
That's a relief.
Because you know I follow my own script?
And I seek no one to direct me!
This is an independent production.
Take it or leave it.
I've spent most of my life,
Getting to this stage of it.
And I do not cater to hecklers.

Either Now...Or Later!
You are correct.
I could not agree with you more.
I have not been in touch with you.
Nor have I bother to call,
In a few months.
You have a song and dance routine,
I've seen and heard consistently unchanged...
For years.
Your ears remain closed to suggestions,
I propose.
And you say my life lived is delusional.
Since I choose to be uplifted and positive.
I find it incredible that someone like you,
Who quotes from scriptures.
And speaks in tongues with such fortitude...
That God would not listen with the utmost attention!
And your life would then have less,
Of a negative judgemental attitude...
Needing you to address.
Unless God and what I have to you to mention,
Isn't returning to you what your ears wish to hear.
The messages sent to you are ignored.
And your understanding of God,
Is a comprehension for you that isn't near.
However...
One thing I know is absolutely certain!
I am not as nearly as patient as God.
I have yet to be gifted with that kind of time to waste.
Or chase you in games of hide and seek,
While you take notes as to which quotes to provoke.
You are correct.
I could not agree with you more.
I have not been in touch with you.
Nor have I bother to call,
In a few months.
And right now a dialtone given to you,
From the bottom of my giving heart...
Is the only 'thing' I can see useful to you I can offer.
At least in my generous giving of it to you...
You can choose to quickly call someone else?
Either now...or later.
Or elect to sit...
In your own undisturbed quietness!
To you I hope a peace of mind comes.
Either now...
To appreciate.
Or later...
When only God knows,
Whether of not...
If this has been to your advantage.

Fruitless
A fruitless life one lives and perceives,
May be for many...
An actuality.
But how could that be?
When all that exists on Earth,
Is an experience of abundance and variety?
To all of this is an applied worth!
Whoever that is feeling useless and negative,
Have decided for themselves,
To await a process that has a more suitable fit.
And nothing will ever be suitable,
For one excusing a life gifted and given...
Just to sit and waste what one takes for granted,
To compare what is there without exploring the advantages.

Waste is not waste
Life- It is a waste of time.
Time- It is a waste of life.
Life and time thus taste wasting.
Is wasting a waste?

Waste
Dont want to be an actor pretending on the stage
Dont want to be a writer with my thoughts out on the page
Dont want to be a painter cause everyone comes to look
Dont want to be anything where my lifes an open book
A dream its true
But Id see it through
If I could be
Wasting my time with you
Dont want to be a farmer working in the sun
Dont want to be an outlaw always on the run
Dont want to be a climber reaching for the top
Dont want to be anything where I dont know when to stop
A dream its true
But Id see it through
If I could be
Wasting my time with you
So if Im inside your head
Dont believe what you might have read
Youll see what I might have said
To hear it
Come waste your time with me
Come waste your time with me
So if Im inside your head
Dont believe what you might have read
Youll see what I might have said
To hear it
Come waste your time with me
Come waste your time with me
Come waste your time with me
Come waste your time with me
Come waste your time with me

Did It Rain Heavily Last Night?
i fell asleep
deep and
sound like
you i felt
i was dead
did it really rain
heavily last night?
the road is muddy
and i cannot take
a walk this morning
don't bother
i can go barefoot
don't bother
i like the mud
don't bother
i like being dirty
don't bother
the sun dries them all
and the water
at the pump
shall clean them all
don't bother
i am still alive.

It Was A Decision Made
Everytime I begin to write,
I have an encounter with reality.
Something within me validates with a scrutiny,
What there is I believe I am provoked to say.
As if to preview the doing before it is released.
I am often asked if I like to write.
And I never gave what I've been doing all my life,
That much thought.
I do not premeditate a doing.
It is as natural to me as using the bathroom.
It was not I that decided I would write.
It was a decision made.
It was not I that decided I would be creative.
It was a decision made.
It was not I that decided I was to be born.
But then...
Sometimes I feel a need to debate it.

Figment of My Imagination
What you believe,
Doesn't bother me at all.
I am not the one walking over my beliefs.
Torn and tattered by self deception.
Pretending it is not debris from fallout...
That has totally collapsed from standards and values.
Or sitting relapsed and stifled,
From attempts to rejuvenate relevance.
Based upon a 'normalcy' that once had been declared.
Yet obviously bankrupt from a corrupted consciousness.
But then...
Should I keep those thoughts also to myself?
Or is this too...
A figment of my imagination?
Stored within the embittered heart...
Of one who has lived a life disadvantaged.
You tell me.
Since I am the one,
You say...
Has vanishing ideals.
That may be 'your' opinion.
However...
Which one of us is deluded,
Will not be a cause of debate.
Not when the truth of observation,
Is at stake.
What you believe,
Doesn't bother me at all.
Have it your way.
I don't have the credentials to convince.
Or am I here to try to open anyone's eyes.
And of that...
I am grateful to feel.

Tired Of Not Being Me
Tired of being compared to everyone else
Tired of never being good enough
So sick of being hated for something I am and loved for what I’m not
I’m sick of coming last
So now I’m putting myself 1st
I’m not going to waste a single second of my life trying to please anyone else
Why bother wasting my time on them when
I have to face my own fears and fight my own battles
I can’t do everything for everyone
I can’t make everyone happy even though I try or used to try
Because now my life is about me
Yes it may sound self centered
But when you think about it I have lived my life trying to please everyone else
I’m sick of playing games
Sick of pretending to be something I’m not
I’m sick of hiding behind this mask
So I give up now
Its time to take a stand
Time to be my own person
Take my own hand
No longer trying to please anyone but me

I Decided
[Chorus]
I decided to stay home tonite
I decided I'ma treat you right
I decided to be there for you
Decided to be on my P's and Q's
I decided to give up my friends
Decided I'ma take you out weekends
Decided to give you a reason to trust
These are decisions that I make for love
[Verse 1]
Enough is enough no more running around
(Searchin' for what's right here at home)
Because my luck is 'bout to turn around
(And I just can't keep doin' you wrong)
Girl I take it for granted that you will be here always
(Tired of this ego trip)
'Cause soon you'll be searchin' for another man
And I just can't have that happen to me
[Chorus]
[Verse 2]
Now I've had about all that I can stand no more
(I'm turnin' in my playa's card)
See I'm retirin' from the secret life I chose
(Cause I just can't keep breakin' your heart)
It was silly of me to be the way that I was
(First was blind

Y
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be so damn cruel
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you
Pure soul first breath is filled with sin
A young child just born quit suffering
A mother's greed, get high, chasin' ghosts again
This will happen over and over again!
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be so damn cruel
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you
I look into your eyes, I feel your pain, life's insane
I'm gonna do my best to try again and live again
I know we're all the same, we live our lives it's like a game
And still we do it over and over again!
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be so damn cruel
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you
First communion done, now your life has just begun
Second plot the whole world is looking with a gun
Another child will do it when he's on the run
The vicious circle of life has just begun!
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do!
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you!
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be sooo cruel!
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you!
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
Life can be so damn cruel
Don't ask us Y!
It's all been decided for you
Don't ask us Y!
We do the things that we do
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
We feel the same as you
Don't ask us Y!
It's all, yeah, it's all
Don't ask us Y!
It's all decided for you

Sonnet-Think Sane, Man
Let money not become thine obsession;
For, every nickel you just leave behind;
Thy soul is priceless, thine one possession;
To keep it pure, you must always remind.
Why waste all life to earn more than your needs?
Why dupe the world when you have no true heir?
Why cheat yourself by wearing 'saintly' beads?
Can God be fair if you've been so unfair?
Why eat much sugarcane and make tongue sore?
Why have much apples and watch them get rot?
Why live in selfishness 'hind closed life's-door?
Can you get sleep on coins, notes, golden-cot?
God gives some more to share your extra wealth;
And if' you don't, it will spoil your soul's health.

You Wont See Me Cry
I wish I had all you ever wanted
Id give it right to you
But I dont have it
How could I ever find it,
The strength to let you go
cause I dont have it
When will I have it?
And it goes, and it goes on
And it goes on
You wont see me cry
You know I decided
That Im gonna pull myself together
And find a way to fight it
Im gonna have to hide it
You wont see me cry
You wont see me cry
Ive got no choice but to face it
I have to let you know that I dont like it
My love is good for someone
And it may take some time
But I will find him
Why should I waste it?
When I go,
When I go on
I will go on
You wont see me cry
You know I decided
That Im gonna pull myself together
And find a way to fight it
Even if I have to hide it
You wont see me cry
You wont see me cry
You wont see me...(oh ah uh)
I finally decided
And I found the way to fight it...
So you wont see me...cry
You wont see me cry

Unpredictable
You do not know me.
And each time you and others,
Do your assessments...
You become disappointed,
By the results you get.
Something you discover,
Offends your beliefs.
But no time have you spent,
Connecting your assumptions...
To a specificness that exists.
You do not know me.
And each time you and others,
Do your assessments...
You become disappointed,
By the results you get.
And you find yourself in discussions,
With others who assess...
Beliefs addressed,
Which have been confirmed...
By the uselessness of whispered innuendos.
And it doesn't bother me one bit,
To know this tolerance you live with...
Defines your own existence permitted.
And I can see how you qualify me,
As unpredictable.
It is a relief and I thank you,
For that determination....
You have researched.
Perhaps next time you will approach me,
And together we can converse.

dissed
Your turned back does not bother me!
What bothers me is your stupidity...
And your accepted ignorance!
You sink like those who refused to be told,
They've reached the limits of competence.
You think like those who are holding on very bold...
To lifestyles and thoughts,
Dropping quick into 'sinkholes'!
Your turned back doesn't both me!
What bothers me is many see
A definition of life that doesn't define clearly.
And when truth is ignored...
Because it upsets those abhorred,
I'm curious what 'freedom' is seen that frees?
Something isn't mixing like it ought to be!
Your turned back doesn't bother me!
As much as my lack of concern...
Seems to bother you!
And I have lots of that to offer.
I do not miss this dismissing I'VE 'dissed'!

Waste Of Time
you want to think I have a problem
well think again it lies within you
you act so rude and immature
ill act the same I wont acknowledge you
but yet you still want to run your mouth
well why even waste your time
I despise your whole existence
and that's the bottom line
your a waste of time
don't waste my time
no need for adolescent gossip
fact is that you need to grow up
don't concern yourself with my life
because I could care less what you do
you say hello to my face
ingrates and sellouts to our backs
its no miscommunication
guts is something that you lack
your a jealous bitter waste of time
there is no need to pretend
I don't owe you a thing
don't act like we are friend
you wonder why I feel like this
come on open up your eyes
your all mindless and gutless
that is why I say
I could care less what you do
your just a waste of time

I Decided
I decided not to cry
'cause I know
you cannot wipe my tears
I decided not to ask
'cause I know you cannot give
I decided not to give
'cause I know you will reject
I decided not to speak
'cause I know
you will be...hurt.
I decided to decide
'cause I know....
I have to.

Surprises In Store For Those With Closed Eyes
Ignore the truth,
And deceit will someday suffocate.
Participate in the re-creation of reality...
And the Earth,
With the assistance of the Sun and Moon...
Will not hesitate to awaken those mistakened by this!
Life and the naturalness of it as experienced...
Is not created from a human perception.
Nor is it a reflection that decides when to change,
Into something more acceptible.
This 'experiment' called life,
WE have decided to destroy...
With a selfishness employed.
Will find divisions within it that survives.
And the end result of this evolution...
Has surprises in store for those with closed eyes.
