Entrapment Of Facts
Yes...
You've been hoodwinked and swindled.
Bamboozled and deceived.
Yes...
You've been emotionally drained,
By all that you could not fathom...
Or wished to believe.
And even though you have called 'me' crazy,
Because my prior sentiments...
Were regarded as embittered,
And made no logical sense.
When you were in fact,
Attached to those senseless acts.
Guess what?
Not another minute,
Of your newly discovered visuals...
Are going to redefine,
Your wasting of my time.
Call me anything you want.
But it is your voice,
Not mine...
That has been distanced.
My own was deemed long ago,
The one chosen to be ignored.
I am sure you remember that! ?
And what you are now experiencing,
Is an entrapment of facts.
Upfront and delusion free!

Up Front (feat. Debra Bird)
By Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Things were very quiet, back there
You really oughtta try it, back there
But when you think youve had enough
Its come the time to pack your stuff and go
I know
I know Im goin upfront, out in front
Leavin everyone behind, got to see what I can find
Upfront
Upfront, out in front, I was always meant to be
There for all the world to see
Upfront
Nothin but beginners, back there
They never heard of winners, back there
They laughed at all my crazy schemes
They told me to forget my dreams and stay
No way
The way to go is upfront, out in front
Leavin everyone behind, got to see what I can find
Upfront
Upfront, out in front, I was always meant to be
There for all the world to see
Where the livin is high
And the lovin is free and easy
Every star in the sky is shinin for me, for me
Upfront, out in front,
Leavin everyone behind, got to see what I can find upfront
Upfront, out in front, I was always meant to be
There for all the world to see

Refusing Then To Listen
There were those selected and chosen,
To represent their causes.
With a reflecting of their priorities,
And interests kept protected.
There were those denied,
And deemed not qualified.
Although they produced credentials,
To prove their experiences were essential.
Today those denied,
And deemed yesterday not qualified...
Are discovered to have experiences,
That should have never been dismissed.
But time does not allow to have those yesterdays,
Replaced with a catching up to date.
And,
What could have been of benefit and useful to them,
Those refusing then to listen...
Would have been paths freed of debris with clarity.
But a patience gone from those dismissed...
Has been distanced from the ones,
Caught up in lives lived in chaos and conflicts.

Please Remember
Time, sometimes the time just slips away
And your left with yesterday
Left with the memories
I, Ill always think of you and smile
And be happy for the time
I had you with me
Though we go our seperate ways
I wont forget so dont forget
The memories we made
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
Please remember, our time together
The time was yours and mine
While we were wild and free
Please remember, please remember me
Goodbye, theres just no sadder word to say
And its sad to walk away
With just the memories
Whos to know what might have been
Well leave behind a life and time
Well never know again
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
And remember, please remember me
Please remember, please remember
I was there for you
And you were there for me
Please remember, our time together
The time was yours and mine
While we were wild and free
Then remember, please remember me
And how we laugh and how we smile
And how this world was yours and mine
And how a dream was out of reach
I stood by you, you stood by me
We took each day and made it shine
We wrote our names across the sky
We ride so fast, we ride so free
I had you and you had me
Please remember, please remember

Long Rusted In Shifted Dust
Once one stops!
A beginning that had started...
For them comes to an end.
Although not official,
There is something about a lifelessness...
That becomes wasted on debate.
As the advancing of Sunset,
On them dims.
And yet,
Those appearing to be lifeless...
Seem to be all over the place,
Taking up space.
With activities insignificant.
But to what degree of insignificance?
This delays...
A validation to be confirmed.
And...
Observed to be wasting debates,
As time most valued...
Slips from them quickly.
While they remain in the process...
Of procrastinating efficient and effectively.
Although not official,
There is something about a lifelessness...
That becomes wasted on debate.
'Can we move on from this agenda.
To prioritize the last agenda...
That upheld the one prior to that?
Facts are facts.
And rest assured...
Progress,
As 'we' know it...
IS being made! '
And too late it becomes,
For the ones to get things done.
When a time that is perceived is kept,
To be borrowed and used at one's discretion.
With life's lessons that many come to learn,
Dismissed by those...
Who have chosen to invoke,
A reviewing of a point of view...
Long rusted in shifted dust!
And from a nonexistence...
The winds of time has blown away.

Looking At The Many People
Looking at the many people.
Looking at the many people,
Waiting to live a life they like.
The many people...
In a luxurized hype.
Looking at the people,
Waiting for a life they like.
The many people.
Looking at the many people.
Embittered and lamenting.
Looking at the many people.
Living venting and resenting.
Looking at the many people.
Condescending and offending.
Looking at the many people.
Expressing their sad sentiments...
And in their minds they're losing sense.
Looking at the many people.
Looking at the many people.
Waiting for a life they like.
The many people.
Looking at the many people.
Looking at the many people.
Waiting for a life they like.
The many people.
Looking at the many people.
Embittered and lamenting.
Looking at the many people.

Looking at the many people.

Looking at the many people.
Expressing their sad sentiments...
And in their minds they're losing sense.
Looking at the many people.
Looking at the many people.
Expressing their sad sentiments...
And in their minds they're losing sense.
Looking at the many people.
Looking at the many people.

Not Going To Be Mistaken As Chopped Liver
This is something,
People find very difficult to understand...
When opportunities are given,
Upfront and personal!
They do not return.
Or come back with attempts to influence.
The mission is to 'give'.
Not to convince.
In fact,
If slighted...
One will never know,
How they are connected...
Those misunderstood opportunities.
Especially,
After they have been evaluated...
As not being beneficial to anyone.
'Excuse me?
Who do I think I am?
Uh...a local resident of this place.
Why? '
Does this need further clarification?
And that can be applied to people as well.
Perceiving someone not to be qualified,
To achieve a task OR deliver to another...
A 'key' to their achievement.
Because of some pre-conceived notion...
One will only pay attention to someone,
Who 'looks' and 'acts' a certain way.
You know...
Someone seen on TV?
And 'not' a neighbor,
Busted for selling crack.
Some people will talk about that,
For the rest of their lives.
Or they may 'live' in a certain environment...
Where nothing but mediocrity is praised.
And everyone in it is dismissable?
'I don't know why they are 'here'.
And not in LA.
Or New York City.
Especially doing what they do!
What a waste.
I'm going to move to Atlanta...
Where I've heard the opportunities really are.'
This outlook,
Can be extremely detrimental.
ESPECIALLY...
If someone deemed useless,
Has chosen a familiar environment...
To exist and develop their own sense of happiness.
You know...
Do 'their' thing AND excell.
People just may have a gold mine,
Right under their turned up noses.
And gold,
Ultimately...
Is not going to be mistaken,
As chopped liver.
Wherever one decides to reside.
Even in a place where the main activity,
Happens to be self loathing.

We Battle To See Acts Of Love
You can battle any illness you wish...
But,
Battle with the act of love.
You can fill you mind with terrorists...
That keep your fears endearing.
But the fact your battles fought have no love.
And don't you know that you...
The giving up of anything,
Will return.
So why not battle with the act of love.
Burdens carried on one's back,
Seem to be attached...
'Cause they don't do their,
Battles with love.
Those who pick their battles,
Pick their battles without facts.
'Cause many have no protected love.
If there is love,
There is a battle...
But the battle can be won,
With a love that's felt in everyone.
Those who pick their battles,
Pick their battles without facts.
'Cause many have no protected love.
You can battle any illness you wish...
But,
Battle with the act of love.
You can battle any illness you wish...
But,
Battle with the act of love.
Those who pick their battles,
Pick their battles without facts.
'Cause many have no protected love.
Those who pick their battles,
Pick their battles without facts.
'Cause many have no protected love.
If we pick our battles,
We must be matter of fact....
That we battle to see acts of love.
We battle to see acts of love.
Let's say we do it...
That we battle to see acts of love!

Not Filled With Depictions Of Angst
There are those who state,
My writing for them is not 'ethnic' enough.
It is not filled with depictions of angst!
Or emotionally committed to keep attached,
To that sought embittered foaming at the mouth.
Like others who look about to remain,
In limitations.
And I have never sought to make excuses,
To live a life I've been blessed to be given.
And many who are disappointed by their existence...
I've never felt cursed to be denied by those wicked.
Those wishing to sell me negativity!
I don't keep myself sold on that.
I've never wished to use my ethnicity...
As a means to gain sympathy,
With beliefs to accpet I was born subservient.
And to this day I can not perceive,
To whom subservient I would be.
I've never invested my time to accept...
'I am better than you are business.'

Slick Crooks and Pampered Thieves
Hey...
You are not the lone ranger.
Being bamboozled and hoodwinked,
Has become as passé...
As long as concepts of dishonesty,
Has been effectively in place.
Today...
It is an honor to be discovered,
As one who deceives.
Those folks end up to write books.
Bestsellers turned into blockbuster movies.
Con artists now teach others,
How to wholesomely steal.
And how to perfect an innocent look...
To gain an empathy that is felt.
And maintain a life for them that's real.
So do not believe,
These people are without integrity.
It is just not the kind,
You wish to see publicly observed.
Those standards you keep,
Are more delusional today.
Folks have been trained to be slick crooks,
And pampered thieves.
And in this society...
There is no other way!

They've Chosen To Be Winners
Picking up those pieces from a running done.
Now taking time when before they gave none.
Less they find offensive too.
With fresh sentiments meant,
They've improved.
Sticking to a purpose with a focused aimed
With minds more open.
And those attitudes changed.
A new day dawning has to them been sent.
To send defensive motives flushed,
With their fluxing minds now rinsed.
And...
They've chosen to be winners!
With those sentiments meant.
Winners.
With those sentiments meant.
Winners.
With those sentiments meant.
To leave behind their indifference.
They have chosen to be winners.
With those sentiments meant.
Winners.
With those sentiments meant.
They're winners.
With those sentiments meant.
To leave behind their indifference.
Picking up those pieces from a running done.
Now taking time when before they gave none.

And...
They've chosen to be winners!
With those sentiments meant.
Winners.
With those sentiments meant.
They're winners.
With those sentiments meant.
To leave behind their indifference.
They are winners.
With those sentiments meant.
Winners.
With those sentiments meant.
They're winners.
With those sentiments meant.
To leave behind their indifference.
To now say and to claim that they are...
Winners.

Fact Versus Feeling
When a fact becomes a feeling
For the world it's appealing;
But when a feeling becomes a fact
That same world has been hijacked.
When a belief is strong enough
And nurtured long enough,
It often launches attacks that
Actually redefine the real facts.
Perception has two paths…
Conception or deception.

This crazy country
I’m in this crazy country
If I could leave I would go tomorrow never to return
Oh Allah how can I go
From this crazy country
When I do what I do for the sake of Allah
My 1st Daughter
The strong & the brave
She was physically & emotionally abused
Some years ago
Taken from me brought up by another
No one knows why
But
Daughter no.2
She was allowed to stay
To be abused
Physically, emotionally & attempted sexually
With emotional problems
No fear of danger
Her father still free
To abuse another
1son & twin daughters the pain still goes on
He is still free
As free as can be
Daughter no 2 went to a special school
She learned to survive
Not wanting to become a woman
She was ready to come home
Her room was made nice
The sisters helped to decorate
Ready for her return
You made new friends
In your white community
They told you that you are British
Me myself I’m not proud to be half British
I’m ashamed you see at what they do to my family
I am a Muslim from Islam
That’s what maters to me
What happened to what I taught you to believe.
You come from a multi-cultural family
You decided to stay
Not come home how can this be
My child needs her mom
I’m told the law gives her the right to choose in this country
So you god fearing mom’s beware when your child goes to school
In this crazy country
As children suffer & even die
There parents free
Free as can be
Then there is my son child no.3
Taken from me
He is with his father you see
In this crazy country
My son runs to be with me
Now he needs therapy
Just for wanting me
I am a God fearing mom doing all I can for my family
In this crazy country
As I see with my eyes
Hear with my ears
What you do to my Brothers & Sisters in this country
I want to leave & go some place where I can be free
As free as can be
To give my all to people who need me
Oh Allah how can I leave this crazy country
When I do what I do for the sake of Allah
To be there for my family
People try to bring me down for I’m a God fearing mom
Before I go
Leave this crazy country
Remember this
You might be free as free as can be
In this crazy country
But when judgment day comes
Who will be free
As free as can be
Will it be you
Or will it be me?

Wasting Time
in between dim hours
in between dull days
i'm out counting flowers
i'm still chasing faith
mistake me for a pilot
mistake me for a face you know
consider this old conscience
let no trouble come my way
wasting time, you'd understand
wasting time
wasting time, we'll make our plans
wasting time
it's you alone i wish to free
on you alone i'll focus
it's not the change i wish to believe
this coming of the locusts
skipping like a skimming stone
skimming the bad chapters
swimming thru your tides alone
swimming on your laughter, we're after
wasting time, you'd understand
wasting time
wasting time, let's take the chance
wasting time
you and i, we understand
time is not for making
but just because we don't have a clue
doesn't mean we're faking, we're wasting
wasting time, you'd understand
wasting time
wasting time, we'll make our plans
wasting time

Hostilities
Hit by a 17-year civil war and famine,
And hit by the errors of the society without a crown!
But a logical justification over here is like,
My classmates to hear my views!
For the articles from the mind are like the things seen around.
The concentions of a memo and the justifications of things,
Who can appropriate this act on my love? !
But i guess you know the difference between plants and leaves.
Education for all in this world forms a kind of discrimination,
An d of the influential acts of love which are very useful;
But the 'West Side Boys' are in chaos! !
This is like the apparitions with different time sequence,
And of the diplomatic order to kill the rat;
But i still don't have the details about the wounded in the forest.
To render a relevant fact and to enlighten the focus of the story,
And of the influx of the refugees with the quiz of a puzzle;
but who the cap fits must always wear it because,
I will zealously adhere to the facts!
The muzzling act of a rat race to a curse,
And with the double-edged sword to swing at times;
But many voices came out ot the mass communications,
And i wait to hear their cry.
Obstacles and the hostilities at hand,
And of the exercises of responsibilities when the rain falls;
But what has theology got to do with the facts?
All the swords are man-made laws,
Delivering and inspiring speeches which are never implemented;
But keeping silence to the truth will always kill justice!
And how many dead-tolls are recorded in any Civil War? ! !
I am visually impaired to the facts but,
They are all vying to be elected!
And of their rallies and of the problems that they create;
But what kind of curricula do they have for us?
Take the market surveillance and ask me why,
For the facts on the grounds are different from what you read;
And of the faculties which have created the wars than peace.
A hostile reception,
And of the irresponsible attitudes seen around!
But maybe we need vociferous acts to tell them more,
For civil wars are no answers to development.

Fools Like Me
(written by kostas and hal ketchum)
Call me crazy, call me anything you want
I thought that we had something good
Now I find it was only in my mind
Guess I just misunderstood
It seems forever just came to an end
I thought our time had just begun
I will never really understand
Why you would turn from love and run
Fools like me, we never learn
Fools like you are never true
You go your way, baby Ill go mine
Ill go crazy like the wind
I will love you for a long, long time
Ill never have your love again
Fools like me, we never learn
Fools like you are never true

Angels
Sparkling Angel
I Believe
You Are My Saviour
In My Time Of Need
Blinded By Faith
I Couldn't Hear
All The Whispers
They're Warning So Clear
I See The Angels
I'll Lead Them To Your Door
There Is No Escape Now
Now Mercy No More
No Remorse Cause I Still Remember
The Smile When You Tore Me Apart
Chorus
You Took My Heart
Deceived Me Right From The Start
You Showed Me Dreams
I Wished They'd Turn In To Real
You Broke A Promise
And Made Me Realize
It Was All Just A Lie
Sparkling Angel
Couldn't See
Your Dark Intensions
Your Feelings For Me
Fallen Angel
Tell Me Why
What Is The Reason?
The Thorn In Your Eye
I See The Angels
I'll Lead Them To Your Door
There Is No Escape Now
No Mercy No More
No Remorse Cause I Still Remember
The Smile When You Tore Me Apart
Chorus
Could Have Been Forever
Now We Have Reached The End
This World May Have Failed You
It Doesn't Give The Reason Why
You Could Have Chosen
A Different Path Of Life
Chorus
The Smile When You Tore Me Apart
You Took My Heart
Deceived Me Right From The Start
You Showed Me Dreams
I Wished They'd Turn In To Real
You Broke A Promise
And Made Me Realize
It Was All Just A Lie
Could Have Been Forever
Now We Have Reached The End

Much That I Remember About You
I remember you
I remember the first time I saw you
Looking up and there you were, an angel on earth
It occurred when I didn’t expect it, wasn’t looking
Seeing you and thinking that you were pretty
Seeing you and wondering why, afterwards, I
Remember you more now
I remember your voice
I remember the first time I heard and it enchanted me
Dulcet tones playing hypnotic music disguised as a woman’s voice
It happened in conversation, in the harmony of all you spoke
Hearing the coy happiness in the words we shared
Hearing the smile in your tone so that I
Remember your voice now
I remember your eyes
I remember the first time I became lost in them
How it was a time when our eyes met in more than just a glance
It happened in a moment, together with you
Seeing in your eyes more than just a casual interest
Seeing in your eyes myself and us which is why I
Remember your eyes now
I remember your skin
I remember the first time I felt the touch of your skin
When your fingertips brushed mine in flirting invitation
It flashed in a moment, skin to skin
Feeling the electricity of your touch, your skin against mine
Feeling the heat passing between us as I
Remember the feel of your skin now
I remember how you made me feel
I remember the first time I admitted to myself
What I felt for you was more than just friendship
It came in a moment, talking with you
Realizing that every thought of you made me smile
Realizing that each smile made me
Remember even more how you made me feel
I remember why I fell for you
I remember this all the time now
The memory comes in thoughts, your voice, your eyes
It happens in every moment these days, loving you
Knowing that what happened between us is a good beginning
Knowing that we could be much more always helps me
Remember constantly why I fell in love with you

I Wish
I wished I had called to see if you were OK
But I was so caught up in my life
To even worry about your.
I wished I had been there for you
But I was to busy drinking
To even worry about you.
I wished I had cared more
But all I wanted was to escape
Even from you
I wished I had taken you seriously
But you tend to lie a lot
And I couldn't take you seriously
I wished I had told you I felt the same way
But I didn't want anyone to know I was in pain
Not even you
I wished you didn't feel like it was something you had to do
I wished you would of never pulled that trigger that night
I wished you could come back
I wished I told you that I loved you
But all theses excuses I make and wishes
Won't change the fact that your gone.
Get Out of The House
Shut up!
Sit down...
And listen!
You did what you had to do!
The throne was never meant for you to sit,
Sprewing tantrums and bad habits forever!
Attempting cleverness...
Believing all your fits should be accepted!
There's nothing great about your approach,
And outlook on life!
Your disasterous plan
Has come from the darkened corners to centerstage!
And the only one appearing to be shocked is you!
Shut up!
Sit down...
And listen!
You and your clan,
Ran on self delusion too long!
You've invaded common sense
With senseless ignorance.
And much of that you sold on people's pride!
That 'downhome' approach
Played enough to scatter rats!
Even they got tired of the lies!
Shut up!
Sit down!
You may have seen yourself,
As a cat who was able to deliver the cheese!
But you are a fool.
And that is a fact!
You and the others
Brought a kingdom to its knees!
And that is treason by any name,
For those whose mindsets have not been diseased...
Or drained by your games!
Shut up!
Sit down...
And listen!
The image of your 'vision' is done!
Collect your ego and history shifting myths.
There's a lot that has to be completed!
And anyone who is sane can see,
You have no brains for it!
Shut up!
Sit down...
And listen!
Get out of the house and go fishin'!
