Aloof

Repercussions come,
As consequences to one's actions.
And in disbelief,
Are those mainlining straight up nonsense.
Sobbing uncontrollably,
About their fantasies being threatened.
And coming to an end.
This is an unfortunate disturbance that occurs.
So unfortunate it is...
That realities have been kicked to the curb!

People are affixed to their addictions,
Like a twig is attached to a tree.
And...
There is something about the presence of honesty,
That just doesn't take root.
People try to keep it fertilized.
But it does not take root.
People try to keep it fertilized.
But honesty for many...
Has become too aloof!

Like Leaves On a Tree

There is so much honesty in truth.
Don't you think?
Once that is known...
It doesn't have to be shown.
One can see it.
Like leaves on a tree.

There is so much truth in honesty too!
Don't you think?
Some people don't believe this.
They percieve truth,
As something they can create.
Something they can change,
When they feel it is out of date.

Some people even lie.
This is true.
Some tell different colored ones...
Just to prove the 'real' ones,
Aren't what they tell to undo!

Some people embellish,
And exaggerate themselves.
Knowing with a consciousness,
Truth and honest...
Does not within them dwell.

They are the ones,
Who love to dance and sing around the bush.
Beat it a few times with assisted innocent looks.
Then expect to be forgiven...
To escape a punishment.

Like children told over and over,
Not to do something done.
But do...
And yet expect not to get caught,
When in clear view.

There is so much honesty in truth.
Don't you think?
Once that is known...
It doesn't have to be shown.
One can see it.
Like leaves on a tree.

Number One

Honesty is often admired.
And in privacy...
Those known to be that way,
Are more than welcomed.

But an honesty admired,
That becomes publicly outspoken...
Around others unfamiliar with it,
Can stun them and have them run.

Most people rather not be shown,
Associated with it.
Most people collectively,
Choose to be accepted.

And today no one wants to feel shunned.
Knowing until an approval of honesty,
Has yet to be done.
Since currently dishonesty for many is number one.

Whatever That Disconnect Is

There is 'something' about honesty,
People unfamiliar with it can not accept.
Maybe it is the unexpected directness of it.
Or...
The coming into contact with it.
And the mind is telling that person...
What is seen done and heard,
Is not for them meant.

'There has to be more to it?
It's too...
Revealing.
Too...
Real.
Too...
Mysterious.'

There is 'something' about honesty,
People unfamiliar with it can not accept.
Maybe it is the unexpected directness of it.
But...
Whatever that disconnect is,
People should prioritize in the doing of their best...
To get to know what being honest means.

Kept In Realities Deluded

We...
You and me.
They and others.
Are more the products of a yesterday.
A time that has gone away,
And does not exist.
Than we are affixed,
To a time existing today...
With no history yet,
Can be claimed attached to it.

And many are accused of living in the past.
Few, if any, are accused of living in the future.

And those that are...
Glowing bright as stars,
Seen...
But light years away from where we are,
Just might be...
In their own 'worlds'.
And it seems unfortunate,
That those in this one...
Are addicted to conflict and other drugs,
That keep them kept in realities deluded.

One's Selected Beliefs

Put into its right perspective...
An honesty that is and maintained.
This kind of perspective...
Isn't going to be accepted,
In a society basically fed...
On a diet of delusions.

Let's face it!
Honesty is not the thing,
People receive readily.
Nor regularly!
And for many,
Honesty is traumatic and fear producing.
Honesty chases truth away.

Truth offends.
Who doesn't know that?

Now,
With a little bit of sugar...
Some animation,
And an adult speaking in a child's voice...
Deceit, being discreet and kept secrets,
Are priorities kept and practiced.
And...
Will sustain one's selected beliefs,
Those chosen to become tradition...
For lifetimes of celebrated mystique.

Regretting Their Actions

Unfortunate are those,
Who select their victims with venom.
Those who are blinded by an agenda picked,
Without facts that are offered to them...
But set with a mindset,
To appease a personal illness.
And this had been done with ease.

Unfortunate are those,
Deciding to choose the ones perceived,
As vulnerable.
Those they believed were without friends.
Those they have chosen,
To be open and defenseless.

Unfortunate are those with minds like this!
And they are the ones to ultimately suffer the most.
First to scream an unjustice has been done.
Although they are the ones,
To instigate...
Their own pain and defeat!

And exposed to be evil...
From discretions selected privately.
Now publicly observed as acts to deceive.
Unfortunate are the ones like these...
Regretting their actions,
At the expense of destroying their own lives.
Weeping and seeking...
Places to hide!

To be ungrateful is nature

.

Seed to pod, pod to twig,
Twig to stem, stem to root
And root to earth must be grateful
For their existence. Do they?
To be ungrateful is a part of life.

On Tree

Just a plain old TREE. I Ignored the weather
satisfied with me. I Looked at TREE.

What if anything do I knoe about TREE.
It used to be a thing made out of wood, always tall,

with branches near the ground. Roots fingering the ground.
Life comes up somehow to TREE. Water cascades down to ground, seeping slowly into ROOT. ROOT transmogrifies

the water into inner sanctum stuff known only to the Lord.
People still tell me, Tree just cannot live.

There is no real feeling in TREE.
There is knowledge in TREE or it would be a blade of grass.

People say the life is in the seed or sapiling.
I think the knowledge is in the MAN, the ONE who can.

He Makes all the TREE begin, upon a distant planet,
Creates the thing again, in the courtyard of his KING.

And every meadow of his earth.
The ONE who gave me birthe the second time around.

The ONE who gave me TREE.
And Time to write this down.

Dogtime

In all honesty I don’t get along with many people
Especially those who measure time in dog years
Or those who name their cats after cartoon characters
I try to avoid without conflict people who are constantly happy
Because I’m not and I don’t wish to spoil my good mood
I don’t like to eat out in restaurants because most don’t serve lamb
And I like lamb, tender young lamb, with mint jelly
You go into an eatery and ask for lamb and you could be arrested
In all honesty I get pissed off when someone rings my doorbell
Because I know it is a Jehovah witness trying to convert me
And I was converted when I was eleven by a prostitute with an STD
I like war and I don’t say that just to be controversial
I prefer peace but without war there would be no peace
People get bored with peace and they start measuring time in dog years
And before you know it in the blink of an eye everything is old
Even peace…
In all honesty I don’t get along with many people
But old hound dogs and exotic birds seem to love me

Given the fact that most religions share basic values, it is most unfortunate that religious people can be played off against each other so easily. One possible reason for this may be that people do not know enough about other people's beliefs.

A big chrome tach and it sounds real good
I go down to the root beer stand
And drink up all that I can
Give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug)
Give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug)
Give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug)
Cold beer, root beer
Here a mug, there a mug, everybody chug-a-lug
Brians still glued to the radio
Louies lookin out the rear window
Guys got around to orderin fries
But root beers my best buy
Give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug)
Give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug)
Give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug)
Cold beer, root beer
Here a mug, there a mug, everybody chug-a-lug

Give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug)
Give me some root beer (chug-a-lug chug-a-lug chug-a-lug)
Cold beer, root beer
Here a mug, there a mug, everybody chug-a-lug
Root beer, need another mug now
Root beer, chug-a-lug-a-lug now
Root beer, need another mug now
Root beer, chug-a-lug-a-lug now
Root beer, need another mug now
Root beer, chug-a-lug-a-lug now

In all honesty

In all honesty
today has been
something out of the ordinary.

In all honesty
I could do with some christmas carols
and a mug of hot chocolate.

In all honesty
walking on the road without a sidewalk
is more exhilerating than anything else.

In all honesty
watching fog settle over the road
can bring tears to anyones eyes.

In all honesty
you're the only person
I'm mostly honest to.

In all honesty
this poem
is entirely honest.

Those Days Have Gone!

Under the sky in the nights
Before pure emotions take flight
When people's hearts were snow white
No one ever could hide the light
In trustworthy and honesty were based all the rights
When all hearts were snow white
When for love people could die
When the echoes of people laughter were covered the nights
When With innocence desires were purified people's heart
When no one ever could ban the light
When pride and honesty was precious more than their lives
Ah those day are gone
How they could be found
Only in the old movies behind those screens black and white

Ah those days have gone!

Before They Chopped Them Down to Fall

Everyday it appears,
More people are going out of their way...
To reveal their insecurities,
By accusing a spoken truth!
That upsets their narrowed comprehensions.
And gossip and innuendos...
With character assassinations are then pursued.

And a practiced backstabbing,
To undo those of honesty too...
Is what people like this in privacy choose to do.
And not caring at all...
To see the forest for the trees,
Before they chopped them down to fall.
On themselves with bruises to leave.

This is reflected and seen in their environments.
How the loss of discreeted corruption...
Has been exposed to local residents.

Many express disbelief and can not comprehend this.
So accustomed they've been,
To being deceived...
By family members and their own friends.
Just for a few more dollars in their pockets to spend.
At the expense of betrayal and acts of treason,
Foolishly in an excitement that could not wait to begin.

But this has been the life,
People have chosen to achieve and succeed.
Whether this had been wrong or right...
Not too many perceived,
The ones eventually performing their own bleeding...
Would be from their own hands,
To bite and cut off their needs that kept them feeding.
With blinded addictions focused on greed.
That's what gluttony does to people like these.

On everything they claimed valued,
To have had worth.

And...
An ignorance initially refusing to listen,
Becomes installed...
Upon all,
Of self righteous deeds.

Anna Hazare A strong old man Fights corruption For the people Of his country

Anna Hazare

A strong old man

Has taken the nation

By storm

Fights corruption

For the people

Of his country

Lives in a temple

Without a family

On others mercy

With meager means

Politicians see him

As an enemy

Afraid of being caught

Corrupt deeds

Getting exposed

People at large

Support his mission

Of honesty

Pray to god daily

Honesty overtakes

Corruption finally

Brings smile

On the faces of people

Of his country

Let Them Have Their Tea With Crumpets

Let them have their tea with crumpets.
Sound the trumpets,
For those who seek a return of greed.
Since the leader the people selected,
Can not in truth maintain their philosophies.

He...
Wishes to present to them realities.
And they...
Were raised to feed on fantasies.
With praise they wish the world,
Continues to see.
That greatness hyped with hypocrisy!

But those who have chosen to sip their tea,
Even without him leading them...
Can not believe nor accept,
A change is evident.
With a coming to them that is direct.

Because on just 'credit'...
The economy bleeds.
And those who now seethe,
Are the ones who depleted it!

Let them have their tea with crumpets.
Sound the trumpets,
For those who seek a return of greed.
Since the leader the people selected,
Can not in truth maintain their philosophies.
And without his honesty...
They perceive a boundless gluttony,
Will and can come back again.

'What about the thieves?
Who holds them accountable,
For their activities? '

Sssshhh...
That is part of the reality,
They rather see erased from them to leave.

A New leaf

There’s a new leaf upon the Tree
A thousand, thousand have been before
In the life of this great tree
Yet, the Tree rejoices, and is glad
For there is a New Leaf upon the tree

The roots are deep, and hidden
Tis one tree from root to branch
And lives in and through each leaf
The hearts’ smile resurrected
Through the New leaf upon the tree

Like the stars of heaven
New leaves have been many
And so they all are One
For they all share the same root
Bless the New leaf upon the tree

Perfection in the Blessing
Joy released in tears of love
The strength in life will comfort
From root to God above
A New leaf upon the tree

Beauty, Truth, and life
Complete from root to branch
When life’s cycle turns
Leaves fall to nourish roots
And behold, a New leaf upon the tree

In Democracy People Are Supreme

In democracy people are supreme
People elected their representatives
And sent to parliament to make laws
On behalf of them.

To make democracy a success
Endemic protest is necessary
To make the representatives in order
They should cautioned.

People are the soul of parliament
Parliament can change but not people
People are the root parliament is foot.

Come to the people O parliamentarian
O representatives of people
People are your master
You are there in different posts to
Serve the people and to do all welfare works.

Democratic institutions are for the people
Without people the state is a big zero
In democracy people are supreme
Do not handle the people in whim.

Affixed

Nothing kept precious is ever lost.
We keep it (them) affixed in our minds
To glow brighter.
There it remains...
And sustains its beauty within us.
To replenish and reflect.
In essence...
Affixed.
In a permanency attached,
Affixed.
Affixed.
