Living Basically

A clarity disputed once,
By those refusing...
To put to rest their fantasies.
Have come to strike fear and alarm,
To those who now witness this vividly.
But in disbelief, disharmony and...
With a touch of dysfunction.

There was a time when getting a good education,
Was free.
And the seeking of truth required research,
And competition.
Today,
People graduate college and lack common sense.
With hundreds of thousands of dollars,
Owed to the government.
The same government they wish out of their lives,
And pockets.

A clarity disputed once,
By those refusing...
To put to rest their fantasies.
Have come to strike fear and alarm,
To those who now witness this vividly.
But in disbelief, disharmony and...
With a touch of dysfunction.

Who knew the days would come,
When those with turned up noses...
And feeling a happiness they can not resist.
Are those living basically,
But had been criticized for doing it...
Within their means.

Fascination

If it seems a little time is needed
Decisions to be made
The good advice of friends unheeded
The best of plans mislaid
Just looking for a new direction
In an old familiar way
The forming of a new connection
To study or to play
And so the conversation turned
Until the sun went down
And many fantasies were learned
On that day
Keep feeling fascination
Passion burning
Love so strong
Keep feeling fascination
Looking learning
Moving on
Well the truth may need some
Re-arranging
Stories to be told
And plain to see the facts are changing
No meaning left to hold
And so the conversation turned
Until the sun went down
And many fantasies were learned
On that day
And so the conversation turned
Until the sun went down
And many fantasies were learned
On that day

Few Knew Sanity

Sell the people on fear and what they will lose.
Accustomed these people are already...
To some kind of dysfunction of mental disarray.

And being uninformed and out of touch...
Is somewhat like throwing one's mind away.
And relying on embellishments,
Others make up from made up stuff...
Folks love.

And...
That doesn't last.
Not in 'that' lane of road ragers.
Where the people drive themselves 'mad'...
Fast to a fade,
From a sane that seldom came.
And when it did,
Few knew....
Sanity!

Witness

I saw an ant devour sherman mountain.
Slip across the floor in the river of honey.
I saw the locust drinking from a fountain.
It smiled at me as I paid my money.
Chorus
Caus Im a witness, witness, see the writing on the wall.
Im a witness, witness, I say Ive seen it all.
Caus Im a witness, witness, Ive got all the proof.
Im a witness, witness, I swear to tell the truth.
I saw her buying in the face of fashion.
Wholl believe with her little white lies.
I saw her arrive on my bed of passion.
But I never saw a look of love in her eyes.
Chorus
Some days my eyes can see for miles and miles around.
Some nights my dreams just take me deep underground.
My minds a time machine, Im in the future and the past.
The past... scrape away...

Tell me clear

She stared at me in surprise
I was about to go near and rise
But she was totally amusing
I just looked at her and thought of refusing

“Am I flirting her” tell me clear
She wanted it from me to hear
Though she probably shook in disbelief
I did not want to give her relief

“Are you using sweet words to woo me”?
I thought she was feeling encircled and not free
I was in prima phase to appreciate her contribution
She was burdened with her research work in the institution

She may be right in her assertion with alertness
Yet the burden should not over shadow her fineness
She is fine and precious gem in her own class
I always caved in and gave her fine pass

“You are not ordinary but class in yourself”
“No one should come to know about the treasure lying in shelf”
“One must realize what is in hidden the belly of deer”
“There should not be desperate run in search with fear”

I said nothing to her reservation and out burst
She must have her own thinking and is really must
I must acknowledge her talent in all the way
She may be right in her own right to stay or go away

The Vanishings

For me, this happened four months ago
when I was walking into Derby Town.
Before my eyes a man just disappeared
in an instant, and without a sound.

One minute he was there, the next he wasn’t.
In disbelief I stopped and looked around,
to see if anyone else had seen what I had seen,
but no one had, so I continued to town.

As I walked, I thought about what I saw
and whether I could be wrong,
but I was sure the man did disappear,
as he walked innocently along.

Throughout the day and night this troubled me,
and I began to question my sanity.
I concluded that my mind was playing tricks,
no one can vanish so inexplicably.

However, throughout the following days
I closely observed the papers and TV.
With no reports of random disappearances,
it confirmed my mind was fooling me.

I allowed the incident to leave my thoughts
and continued with my humdrum days.
That was until during my usual walk to town,
when I saw another person vanish away.

This really shocked and unsettled me,
so I asked the people near by
if they had seen someone just disappear,
but it was something they all denied.

It was time to see my local doctor
and I told him what I thought I saw.
He said I was suffering with stress
and of that he was sure.

Antidepressants were prescribed,
and advise for me to rest.
Not to think too deeply about what I see,
and leave disappearances to those who know best.

A few days later, an article in the paper stated
disappearances were on the rise.
However, the police weren’t duly concerned
the homeless were more than realised.

The next time I walked into Derby,
I saw three people disappear.
One was a woman pushing a pushchair,
which left her child alone, but near.

Another woman stood by the pushchair
and asked where the mother had gone.
I didn’t want to admit to anything,
so I shook my head and moved on.

I now knew it wasn’t my imagination,
but if I spoke out, people would think me insane.
Doing nothing about what I knew was hurting
and I felt an unbearable shame.

I decided to write letters to the papers,
warning the public about the vanishings,
and why the government was hiding the facts
to stop the anarchy this would bring.

I was arrested by a government network
who asked what proof I could provide.
I admitted my eyes were my only witness
and they accused me of unpatriotic lies.

I was placed in a room with a professor
who reacted as though I knew the truth.
He admitted he knew about the vanishings,
but how they happened he had no clue.

He was puzzled, but discarded abductions
because there was no sightings or sound.
Every hour of everyday in Derbyshire streets
vanishings were now common and abound.

The government is extremely concerned
whether the vanishings will ever cease.
They’re at a loss to know just what to do
to stop the population’s ever decrease.

Without a Common Sense Represented

So many make claims...
They do not wish the government,
To play a role in their personal lives!
It is said the government already has,
Too much of a control.
And this 'they' despise.

Although everyone pays taxes.
And elect politicians,
To represent their interests.
Everyone wants the police,
To come to their aid when this pleases.
Have teachers teach their children.
Even the ones who skip and don't come.
They want better jobs to pay for mortgage and/or rent.
And desire their 'tender' offenses assume,
Protected by soldiers on other lands to defend...
From terrorists and other threatening improvisations.

So many make claims...
They do not wish the government,
To play a role in their personal lives!
It is said the government already has,
Too much of a control.
And this 'they' despise.
With fantasies intact.
And demands they come alive!

And from birth they are now issued,
Social security numbers.
Immunizations to protect them from disease.
And still they say it is the government...
From their lives they wish would leave!
Without a common sense represented amongst them.

How can such hypocrisy be sustained?
When those in the know...
Realize more oxygen,
Is needed to feed those of disconnected brains.
Since a massive amnesia has too long been effective.
How can reality ever in them be injected?

'President Obama? '

~Hey...
Don't look at me!
I'm doing the best I can,
To keep my hair from getting grayer.~

Conflicts Of Reality Dilutes The Truth For Many

There are those exclaiming,
The need and wish for less government...
In their lives.
In their wallets.
And their homes.

But...
Also these are the same people,
Who protest to have more money...
Of their own in their pockets.

Conflicts of reality dilutes the truth for many!

And not a face of theirs appears,
On the currency.
And if it is a penny or a dollar bill that is possessed,
The image imprinted has been a president.
Who has been elected to lead the government.
Few protesting keep this addressed.

And it seems many people will soon get their wish,
Because less government...
Is definitely going to be removed from the pockets.
And...
The evidence of that has already begun to appear.
Or disappear,
Depending on which side of the coin...
Is observed by many pinching pennies,
Being from them removed.

Kids I Once Knew Had Specific Chores

We knew fear but not excuses...
Where I grew up and lived as a kid.
Plus we were too competitive...
With a daring done to prove we weren't afraid.

And much too inquisitive about life,
Back in those days...
When we were taught to be respectful.
And all of the kids I once knew had specific chores,
Assigned to do to get done.
With a doing of them first or face the consequences.
To 'then' be followed by the doing of any school homework.

I am not one to say the children today are lazy.
Nor am I one to pass judgement on the obvious,
To argue in debate or heated discussion with those offended.
Since today there is a difference between being 'smart',
And having common sense.
Intellectualizing what is obviously a detriment,
I leave to those still trying to impress...
There elementary school teachers.

There is a technology involved a lot of children use,
Without using their heads like we once had to do.
And not being able to read 'and' write?
To then brag about graduating from high school?
Whether or not they attended day or night...
With an acceptance given to go to a college too?
I will not say is ridiculous...
Since to me that's my observation.

And I have had it being the one considered to be a fool.
No wonder they have no discipline.
Folks refuse to acknowledge the truth.
Or instill this asset within the minds of their children.
They've been given the right to do as they choose.
And refusing to listen...
So many have chosen 'that' to do!

Move With Me

Written by: neneh cherry/c. mcvey/lenny kravitz
Into a world I plunge thru my headphones
Escape into the streetlight
I begin to believe in destiny
When my surroundings in rhythm with me
Im just a grain of sand walking in a sea of people
I look around me and my name is just someone
For a moment in time I belong
Where my heart beats the fear is gone
Like destiny
So move with me Im strong enough
To be weak in your arms
Move with me Im strong enough
To be real in your arms
Whispering as I was driving
Quietly the car was rolling
Like a bullet
I was feeling the speed moving
Me faster. addicted to the rhythm
On my ghetto blaster
Thats me supposing
That the clarity of thought
Is clear enough to think
Its real enough to touch
The wind on me got me tripping
Can I keep you next to me
Till the end of the world
Like the joker on the pile
Never coming or going
The colour of my true cards was showing
Keeping in touch with an idea
That I been growing
Trust trust I must trust
With my head on my chest
I rest with the rest of the restless

Can I Get A Witness

Can I get a witness
Maybe you got faith
In where this is going
Maybe Ill pull up the stakes
And Ill be letting go
I could not believe
I could not believe
Can I get a witness, witness x3
You know a lot of times I think how big
And I feel lost on the zag zig now
I could not believe
I could not believe
Can I get a witness, witness x3
And some of these people are just so lame
I dont feel like a pupil
Just a loser on a game show
I just cant believe it
No, I cant believe it
Can I get a witness, witness x3
Im rooting for you
And I toasted when I heard about you
And how you got a witness
A citizen maybe in another place
Here comes the wind
Im a chaser
Its time to leave
Here comes
Its time to leave
Can I get a witness, witness (repeat)

Beneath Fear

Men fear and destroy
What they cannot understand
Been so, for a very long time

In truth;

Beneath fear lives another mind
A mind of clarity, truth, fairness
A mind that knows connection
A mind that knows wholeness

When fear enters
Dive deeply
Go to that place of safety

Dive deeper still
Look into your soul
See your true self

Yet deeper
Into your very core
Where Spirit lives…

As God Is My Witness

Once in a lifetime the right love comes by
With no rhyme or reason, you never know why
You wake up one morning and nothings the same for you.
The kisses taste sweeter, the touch just feels right
You rush through the morning to get to the night
And then youre together and it takes your breath away.
So, hold on to your heart
Lets think forever right from the start
But loves not forever
its just for the rest of our lives.
Youre not my first love, but youll be my last
I give you my future, forgive me my past
And I know in my heart, that this is what I want to do.
If I had one life and one love
Thered be one dream for the two of us
As God is my witness, whatever you do
Dont change a thing cause I love loving you
And as God is my witness Ill give you all of my love.
So. hold on to your heart,
Girl, dont you know this felt good from the start
As God is my witness I promise you
Ill be here beside you
Whatever you do.
As God is my witness
Ill give you all my love
As God is my witness
Ill give you all my love...

Reset

Reality has been the first casuality,
Of this war!
The moment it was attacked...
A division between visions,
Started today's static!
And people relied on leaders who lied.
Except...
Very few knew that!
A nonsensed war was backed.
The creators just sat.
Burying the facts!
With lives lost not coming back.
Deep sadness fell on millions' backs.
And demons laughed at that!

Reset to erase?
Not this disgrace!

Whispered truths began to leak!
A disbelief brought shock and grief!
Time was lost,
And hearts that bled...
Could not lift up their weary heads.
A quality of life was gone,
With loved ones dead.
And this would not reset!

A quality of life was gone for all...
And disturbing this would get.
Fantasies was dreamt to keep,
Could never be reset.
And lies about this everyday...
Has faded happiness!

Light, Salt and Love

Friend, let the Light God put inside, be a witness that’s not denied.
Witness for The Lord Jesus Christ; a witness of your newfound life.
Friend as you walk through the night, allow others to see your light.
Light received from The Lord above, so that we can share His Love.

A life witness is what men need, when God’s Word they don’t heed,
In our life, these men need to see, the Light of Christ not you or me.
Allow your life be living proof, of the changing power of God’s Truth.
Your walk of Truth may just inspire, men to make Christ their desire.

Is your new life attractive to those, who hear The Word and oppose?
They oppose The Truth you proclaim, refusing to embrace His name.
Every opportunity that we approach, we need to be above reproach,
So we don’t bring the Savior shame, when we witness in His Name.

We are told to be Salt and Light, as witness for men lost in the night.
And salt must maintain its flavor, to draw other men unto The Savior.
It is when the saltiness we lose, that our witness by others is abused.
Friend your salt is only useful then, to be trampled under foot by men.

Love is how all men will know us, and The One we have come to trust.
For it was God’s Love for all men, that sent His Son to be condemned.
Condemned upon a wicked cross; in order to save a world that’s lost.
So allow your love to shine my friend, so Christ can become their end.

The reality of self inflicted pain,
Eventually gains one thing...
For the feeler of it,
Awakening...
From a numbness,
Of what has been done.
Being...
One's closer involvement,
With clarity.
Now no longer disputed,
As to 'who' has been doing this!
