A Broken Heart Is Seldom Forgotten
A product of my past,
And those influencing the environment...
Will be remembered as benefits,
Of my comprehension.
And the depths of my sentiments.
Erasing experiences,
Is not as easy as a forgiveness done...
For one's mistakes.
A broken heart is seldom forgotten.
Or the healing of it that it takes.
Those happy times embraced,
Will always be cherished and loved.
Those who initiated and inflicted pain...
Will always be remarkably prioritized in my memory.
There is something about those who teach great lessons...
Their faces will be forever etched for their deeds and activities.
Some are embittered with animosities.
Not me!
I always ask of God to deliver to people what they deserve.

Forever Cemented
The removal and taking away,
Of one's experience...
May be successfully performed,
In a scientific clinic.
However...
Some may have those experiences,
Amnesia could not erase.
These experiences are deeply implanted.
Like the Earth spinning slowly,
In a protective Universe.
Some things people are forced to deal with.
And this enhancement is forever cemented,
To never be forgotten.
As if compassion has them knotted.
And a recollection is felt,
With every nuance of what has been inflicted.
Whether bitter or sweetened by the memory of it.
People prolong what they take for granted.
And for too long they can not see this is wrong.
Until a 'too late' comes!
To then find them and those times forgotten,
Like a Sunrise witnessed but soon gone.

Memory Walkway
O how I miss those times
Those times with you
Those times when i felt so happy
Those times when we were both so happy
And now it's all gone
And we can't get it back
It's all gone
Forever
O how I wish i could go back
And relive my mistakes
Relive those times
Be happy again
For once
In my life I was happy
Nothing else could've brought me down
Until the day that it ended
The day it all cam crashing down on me
Everything died
Nothing was fine
Everybody thinks I'm happy
But how could I be?
Use your common sense people
Can't you all see that I'm not happy?

O how I miss those times

Memories
Memories
Fading pictures of the past
Destroyed by time
All that's happened
All that was
And right now
Is gone before
Our minds can
Comprehend
We only remember what
Truly stands out
In our lives
Or something that has
Shaped who we are
Or changed a point of view
Other things are locked away
Seldom to be remembered
Reminisced
Every passing second
We remember a little more
About our past
Because we just lived it
As quick as it's there
It disappears twice as fast
But it leaves imprints
Sometimes very visible
Other times not so much
Memories are gate ways
Into our experiences
And lessons learned
To simply help us
In the future that
We'er in right now

Deeds Done They Do To Leave
Don't you believe people make mistakes?
And should be forgiven for those they make?
'Sure.
I've made quite a few myself.
And not one did I make,
Was an intention to undermine someone else,
Consciously.
Nor did I,
With a premeditation done...
Inflict sorrow on anyone.
Those are not 'mistakes'.
That is a remorse received for a thing done,
Now bringing feelings of guilt and grief.
Feelings of guilt that brings one grief,
Is a payback.
And those are divinely distributed.
Mistakes can be corrected.
Heartaches and 'breaks'...
Are way beyond my jurisdiction to mend.
They require much prayer and faith.
And that is what I have relied on to keep my head up,
To protect from those of destructive forces.
So those who choose to say,
They should be forgiven for making mistakes.
And expect a forgiveness done...
Are 'consciously' approving their own devious activities.
That is the way I see deeds done they do to leave.
With expectations to continue their deceptions.
After an appropriate forgiveness has been delivered.'
Those are not mistakes.
And there is quite a difference.'

Feelings Felt Deep And Personally
Some are still awaiting,
For an approval of their thoughtlessness.
With a comprehension understood and accepted,
As to reason.
While a guilt from them fades.
Having a consciousness presents its consequences.
There is a possibility of one escaping from mistakes made.
But intentional activities done,
Believing one to be freed from feelings of remorse...
Do not come quickly with hollow apologies.
Feelings felt deep and personally...
Often do not detach themselves from memories!
And someone consistent in showing their disrespect...
Are seldom seen walking in someone else's shoes.
Some feel it easy to excuse themselves from their misdeeds.
Until it has been made known whose toes they have stepped upon.
And only then they perceive this to be,
An oversight and a forgiveable issue to be forgotten.
Like the act of ruining one's reputation.

Always The 'Who' That Gets One Through
Those who set out to ruin lives,
Consciously.
To then awaken with guilt and expectations,
Consciously.
That an awaiting for a forgiveness given to exonerate them,
Is not on the minds of the ones...
Who have spent time on the other end,
Healing and mending from wounds consciously inflicted...
By those who assume a skipping away from their deeds done,
Is the same wish by someone who has forgiven to forget.
Especially when the suffering with pain is involved.
People may be seen to be completely 'restored' from sorrows.
If recovery actually is done to come.
However...
It was their faith and determination alone,
With a gritting of teeth that got them off their knees.
To remember every detail vividly,
As to how, when, where, why and who...
Put them there in the first place.
And it is ALWAYS...
Always the 'who' that gets one through a process,
Never to be forgotten.
'It's so good to see you healthy and fit.
I am glad you have forgiven me.
You have...haven't you?
Say something.
Why are you smiling? '
~No particular reason.
Just thinking of how I would have handled this,
Years ago.~
'Handled what? '
~My thoughts.~

Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness.

I've Made All Of This Look Too Easy
I've made all of this look too easy.
So easy it's easier made for you to critique.
Even reading between the lines,
You will never feel my sentiments.
Or my experiences and years spent,
Healing from an assortment of hidden scars.
I've made all of this look too easy.
So easy you believe I have time I can find,
To please you and your needs.
As if nothing else is on my mind,
But you and your life and your doubts.
I've made all of this look too easy.
Haven't I?
Even when sleeping...
You perceive me to be undeserving to get,
Peace and rest without requesting it.

Moments Remembered
Those moments you leave,
Are these moments remembered.
I'd like to freeze those memories.
And save them whenever...
I need you here near me.
To warm in my heart once again.
When those moments you leave,
Are these moments remembered,
My wishes made...
Can't fade away.
Since I know that those times,
Are times to be cherished
And forever is never that far...
Away!
To wait for those moments,
I wish you would never
Depart.
Those moments you leave,
Are these moments remembered.
I'd like to freeze those memories.
And save them whenever...
I need you here near me.
To warm in my heart once again.
When those moments you leave,
Are these moments remembered,
My wishes made...
Can't fade away.
Since I know that those times,
Are times to be cherished
And forever is never that far...
Away!
When those moments you leave,
In my heart...
Are these moments,
You'll stay!
When moments remembered,
Are ones in my heart...
That will stay!

It Can Be Draining
Sometimes it can be draining,
And gets difficult...
To be in the midst,
Of thoughtless people.
Especially those who have aged,
To express less concern.
Or how their whims affect...
The ones who treasure their lessons learned.
At times emotional feelings exposed,
Are received to be ones embittered.
When sharing them amongst those,
Who could care less...
About the depthness of another's experiences.
And how those experiences are addressed,
Each day to expect, accept or reject.
Sometimes it can be draining,
And gets difficult...
To be in the midst,
Of thoughtless people.
Especially those who have aged,
To express less concern.
Or how their whims affect...
The ones who treasure their lessons learned.
It can be draining.
Isolating.
And reflectively disrespecting.

Exceptions To The Forgiveness Rule
I am the first to admit,
That a forgiveness given...
Should not be a consideration,
With a solicitation that escalates in debate.
We all make mistakes...
And care enough to correct those made.
At least the effort proves this to be true!
However...
Those anticipating things done that they do,
Should automatically be granted a stay of execution...
Puts others through what it is they do,
As if an approval of understanding of their misdeeds...
Are exceptions to the forgiveness rule!
And this creates a repetition,
Of those same conflicts initiated.
Without a sign of any lessons learned,
That establishes a sustaining confidence

Direct And Decisive
It would be wonderful to awaken,
In an environment...
Where the people found it,
To the best of their interests...
To be direct and decisive.
With an elimination of being evasive.
To then uncover an honesty that refreshes,
The meaning of comprehension with understanding.
Instead of leaving assumptions,
As a basis of one's deluded reality.
Wouldn't it be great?
To awakened to realize this has been prioritized.
With truth as the utmost purpose one has to share.

An Unregained
I'm not remembering her;
chancing to meet.
we greet
synchronizing expressions
trying to collect
memory bits from the past
as to place
and circumstance.
The Universe between
the Not-Remembered and the Half-Forgotten,
is not joy, not pain,
not past, not present;
this is a small-talk world;
agenda-less.
We talk-
minutes going on-
both hoping
for memory to lurch
to the surface from our past
to penetrate to consciousness.
She, is someone I should know;
an old girl-friend or lover-foe?
Someone who loved me;
perhaps someone I had harmed?
Fumbling, I feint memory
hoping she’ll reveal who
I am
to her
and what had been
between she and I
and our last remembrances.
But she's neutral, not revealing much-
My blank stare frozen; still;
barriered from my own past.
I'm bereft
of attitude or anchoring,
and step away from this personal void;
memorylessness weakens me;
My tree has no branches.
But I see she knows now;
and I don't;
she in that instant
hides my own past from me
giving me no hint
as narrow-eyed we both squint
in morning light.
Now for me
the first memory bit
comes and then more of them;
ignited by her sad eyes.
I am to her the Forgiven One,
the one who did not love her
as she had loved me;
the one who loved not.
I am the Forgiven One
who had walked away
not seeing
the kindness she'd given me
of receiving from her love
that asked for nothing.
Sad are the eyes that remind
the Other was the person
who loved best.
Sad is the deadening spirit
of unrequited love's extent.
She said:
'You were loved far more
than you were able to give
and gifted
with more than you offered back.'
Piled high in her eyes
were all my regrets
un-intoned;
her love spilled by me
onto the Forgotten Floor.
After that time
I had taken her gift
and gave it to my next lover-
my atonement.
And she, too, similarly
had given me love that
she had deprived
from her previous lover.
We both walked away.
Sideswiped
by the Half-Forgotten and
the Unregained.

It's Not Easy...
It's not easy to break somebody's heart
it takes a lot of effort
It's not easy to give somebody eternal pain
coz it's not any type of comfort
The person is himself in pain
when they don't love somebody
They are even in more pain...
when they are loved by that somebody
It's not easy to say 'NO'
the process is very painful
That person from inside
feels very pitiful
Before giving that pain...
to somebody they loved
They self experience the pain
that is beyond any fund.

Balancing On The Edge Of Jeopardy
Children are a strange commodity.
A product of our teachings...
And a reflection of the environment.
Like unnecessary attachments,
Sometimes they can be.
So innocent and sweet when born...
To grow into untamed weeds,
We pray to bloom into prized accessories.
Yes!
Compared to those 'things',
We pride ourselves to keep.
We hope our lessons teach them well.
But no one really knows,
In what direction our children will eventually...
Choose to go.
Children,
As we believe we know them...
Are a strange commodity.
A product of our teachings...
And a reflection of the environment.
And 'if' the environment isn't condusive,
To the mental health of our 'kids'...
Any future we perceive that is deserving that comes,
Can either be brightened with enlightenment...
Or hang nervously balancing on the edge of jeopardy.
And,
Our expectations void of consistent encouragement...
May be a bit too high for them to fly without obedience.

Happy They Have Been Able To Please
At one time,
People were complaining...
No activities for them were scheduled.
Today,
More than enough diverse activities...
Are scheduled for those wishing to participate.
And there are those calling from their windows,
That the planners of the activities...
Should have not scheduled them,
On the same day.
And that is why they have chosen,
Not to take advantage...
Of any those choices made available.
And the ones caring less,
Who is expressing what and for what reason...
Come and go to do as they please,
With a doing to get done...
Keeping prioritized,
From Sundown to Sunrise...
Their own focused motivations.
At one time,
People were complaining...
No activities for them were scheduled.
And the naysayers are still there,
Supplying from one event to another...
Their unsolicited critiques.
And the planners,
Who have scheduled such activities...
Are thrilled and happy,
They have been able to please...
The wants, wishes and needs of everyone.
They seem to be anyway.
'My goodness.
How were you all able to do this? '
~Excuse me?
I had earplugs in my ears.
We all do.
Most of us have removed them.
Those of us on the committee.
Do you mind repeating that?
What was it that you said? '

Hearts Healing
I called your name
you weren't there
I waited for you
You passed me by
I asked you to dance
You asked someone else
I loved you
You didn't love me
I said hello
You said good-bye
You broke my heart
I couldn't fix it
I wanted revenge
You lauged at me
I cried
You loved someone else
No one heard my cries
My heart was aching
You moved on
I didn't
You were happy
I was sad
I had no one
You had someone
I got lost
lost
lost
In the dark was I
alone alone alone....
my heart still aching
the memoires of us still waking
help help help
no one heard
alone alone alone
forever forever forever
it seemed
the pain was intolerable
I was going insane
my heart was still broken and pain
then then then
I saw
a bright light
i heard a calming voice
calling me....
it was someone who loved me
more than you,
I felt a strong
loving embrace
It was an angel you see
He loved me very much
He told me to go on
That I wasn't alone
I was healed
I felt happy again
and I knew I was loved
and I would never have to wait for love again.....

People Do Make Mistakes
Sometimes people do make mistakes.
I've made some.
And who has not made a few?
But not knowingly at the expense of others.
And those who excuse these activities done,
As errors made unconsciously...
With proclamations for a wish to be forgiven,
Need to know how it feels to receive payback.
Directed and unmistakable.
And inflicted with the ease in which they were made.
With a consciousness applied and lessons taught.
To awaken anyone daring to use these excuses in the future.
