Forever Cemented
The removal and taking away,
Of one's experience...
May be successfully performed,
In a scientific clinic.
However...
Some may have those experiences,
Amnesia could not erase.
These experiences are deeply implanted.
Like the Earth spinning slowly,
In a protective Universe.
Some things people are forced to deal with.
And this enhancement is forever cemented,
To never be forgotten.
As if compassion has them knotted.
And a recollection is felt,
With every nuance of what has been inflicted.
Whether bitter or sweetened by the memory of it.
People prolong what they take for granted.
And for too long they can not see this is wrong.
Until a 'too late' comes!
To then find them and those times forgotten,
Like a Sunrise witnessed but soon gone.

A Broken Heart Is Seldom Forgotten
A product of my past,
And those influencing the environment...
Will be remembered as benefits,
Of my comprehension.
And the depths of my sentiments.
Erasing experiences,
Is not as easy as a forgiveness done...
For one's mistakes.
A broken heart is seldom forgotten.
Or the healing of it that it takes.
Those happy times embraced,
Will always be cherished and loved.
Those who initiated and inflicted pain...
Will always be remarkably prioritized in my memory.
There is something about those who teach great lessons...
Their faces will be forever etched for their deeds and activities.
Some are embittered with animosities.
Not me!
I always ask of God to deliver to people what they deserve.

Forgotten, But Not Gone
(johnny macrae/buzz carson)
Her birthday came and went without a card, or a single I love you
On their anniversary she sat all alone at a table set for two
She tries her best to please him, but she never hears one single word of praise
She feels just like a stranger, in a home where love has seen its better days
Well hes taken her for granted
God only knows why she keeps hangin on
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone
Somehow he cant remember, when hes late to even take the time to call
And even on the nights hes there she gets the feeling hes not there at all
Shes become a prisoner in that big old house where sweet love used to be
Well, its not even over but lord she feels just like a memory
Well hes taken her for granted
God only knows why she keeps hangin on
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone
cause its better to be gone, but not forgotten
Gone, but not forgotten
Than to be forgotten, but not gone

I think we all wish we could erase some dark times in our lives. But all of life's experiences, bad and good make you who you are. Erasing any of life's experiences would be a great mistake.

Hold Hands
lovers have forgotten
how to hold hands...
and children have forgotten
the wonder of being outside.
workers have forgotten
how it feels to be appreciated.
old people have forgotten
how it feels to be needed.
everyday people have forgotten
how it feels to grow their own food.
students have forgotten
the joy of learning...
the American people have forgotten
how it feels to believe...
in equality, dignity, and hope...
how it feels to hold hands!

Let it be Forgotten
Let it be forgotten, as a flower is forgotten,
Forgotten as a fire that once was singing gold.
Let it be forgotten forever and ever,
Time is a kind friend, he will make us old.
If anyone asks, say it was forgotten
Long and long ago,
As a flower, as a fire, as a hushed footfall
In a long-forgotten snow.

An Understanding Has Been Acquired
Experience is not from a classroom taught.
That is a process life only offers.
To believe that one can teach,
Or receive experience...
To relieve the sacrifices that come as a reward,
Is to click one's heels three times,
In the hopes Auntie Em has a freshly baked apple pie...
Just pulled from the oven,
Upon one's return from the Land of Oz!
Could be associated with having a drug induced,
Experience.
And these things happen!
Anything is possible.
Like a child hoping to escape a spanking...
Once it has been discovered,
The family cat has been put inside the refrigerator.
How does one handle this situation?
That's a judgement issue.
However,
After the tenth pet has been found in this manner...
There is a real need to take this as a serious issue.
Now...IF,
One was to serve the cat for dinner,
And watch the child nibble on it?
That is an experience that will never be forgotten!
You can say...
Experience, in this example, has definitely been achieved!
An understanding has been acquired.
And desired results...
Develop over time,
With psychological adjustments!
Can be obtained.
Maybe a little costly...
But obtainable!
Hopefully...
In some unique cases,
The avoidance of permanent mental damage...
Is recommended.
But,
We must never look back,
Wishing to have taken other actions!
We must be careful not to be too extreme,
When making our decisions.
We must...
At all cost,
Avoid having someone else's experiences...
Haunt us for the rest of our lives!
Anger fits can linger!
We have to set aside time for those adjustments.
Some take longer than others.
Experience is a mind altering change.
For some...
This process expands comprehension!
And yet,
For others...
They are left scarred for the rest of their lives!
Like one who is forced to eat broccoli.
Lima beans is my thing.
To this day I can't stand them!
And I'm sure the feeling is mutual!
However...
It is very rare these life changes,
Can be instructed.
Although some experiences,
Can leave folks traumaticized!
And these we must consider as 'Prozac Specials'.
They will be 'numb' up for quite sometime.
Some are slower at recovery than others!
Involving the aforementioned experience.
And we must be more patient with these kinds of minds.
One never knows...
When the cracking might snap.
And hopefully with some therapy...
Some folks are able to use their experiences,
As an insight for others to prove...
Even those with dysfunctions,
Can become quite successful...
At keeping their 'ailments' undetected.

I Haven't Forgotten
I haven't forgotten when I meet you first!
I haven't forgotten when I greet you last!
I haven't forgotten your pretty face!
I haven't forgotten your smile and grace!
I haven't forgotten how we started chatting!
I haven't forgotten when we started dating!
I haven't forgotten our last walk together!
I haven't forgotten how I became a loser!
I haven't forgotten how it became too late!
I haven't forgotten when I understood fate!
I haven't forgotten that summer's northwester!
I haven't forgotten and won't forget ever!

Your Chamber of Memory
A house for the dead who are not dead.
A cage, a prison where you hold your abusers.
Beautiful on the outside. Inviting.
Like a mansion, welcoming and decorated.
But if I were to take a peak inside,
even if only for a moment,
I would spot the trap, yet never
would I be able to escape it.
You'd pull me in with a firm grasp,
for you never forget the insult.
All these people here, all these moments.
What have they done to be forever damned,
to be reduced to heartless corpses
and shredded canvases, abandonned
and forgotten by all but you.
All of your experiences, all of your life's flawed
occurrences, rotting away, then being blown away
with all the other dust
in you elephantine memory.

People Like Us
Life is given as a gift
So it should be taken as one
We should wake up thankful that the day came
When you feel like you have it worst
You can always look at the people who have nothing
Then you would realize that you have everything
The people who have nothing
Don’t take life for granted
They are very grateful for everyday that comes
But people like us who have lots
Take life for granted
We don’t stop to realize what we’ve got
Then before we know it, it’s gone.
Its people like us
Who lead the troops to war.
And kill thousands, all over land.
Frankly I don’t understand why we
All can’t just get over it and increase the love
We all have to have material things such as cell phones
Most of us couldn't even go a day with out them.
Most of them have never even seen a cell phone
Yet, we still take things for granted
Everyday you should think about those
People when your getting mad because you
Can’t get your way
And maybe then one day
People will stop taking things for granted
Especially life
And live every day as if it were their last.
People like us need
To be like people like them

Man learns through experience, and the spiritual path is full of different kinds of experiences. He will encounter many difficulties and obstacles, and they are the very experiences he needs to encourage and complete the cleansing process.
Only Doing My Small Part to Please
'But...
Why do we have to stop playing the game? '
No one said a thing about you stopping!
'But for our night games,
We can not see without the lights.
People here can not sit without the bleechers.
We need the balls and the bats!
Also the bases.
Have you forgotten that? '
I haven't forgotten anything.
In fact...
When you suggested,
I was nothing but what a dog does.
And it was on the bottom of your shoe...
That you could not get rid of?
I thought I'd do you all a favor,
And go home!
'But why are all of those people,
Taking all of our equipment away? '
Well...
I paid for the bleechers.
And...
Made a deal with the electric company,
To supply the lights.
The balls and bats I got from donations.
And all the people you see leaving...
I sent invitations.
And I made it clear to all of them,
If I should stink that bad...
What is the point of them sticking around,
To see a game played...
When you have announced,
You would rather not have me here!
'Oh?
So it's like that? '
I guess.
I'm only doing my 'small' part to please!

Forgotten Future
The forgotten future of what should have been.
It's crumbled at our feet,
gone and most certainly dead.
The mournful times I now must face.
Companionship and love without a trace.
A forgotten future that filled me with endless hope.
Now so barren and fruitless it makes me choke.
Forgotten furture where did it go?
A nuclear winter with in my black soul.
Broken hearted soul bereft.
I face this forgotten future now with death.
No other way to kill the pain.
In a forgotten future it matters not here anyway.
The forgotten future that was held so dear.
I grabed and fed for many a year.
It was my life, it was my hope.
Now it hangs me with short rope.
The end is nigh.
I need not fear,
the relief I seek is very near.
Forgotten future now grows dark.
As the memory of me will soon be marked.

Variations of Love
The universe has
Germinated from love.
Yet to define
We find it
Pretty tuff.
Some people find love
Juicey and sweet,
That's why they grab it,
And never try to quit.
To someone
Love means sour,
Some people find it
As untouchable tower.
Some people define love
Tasteless and bitter,
They just sleep lazy
Like lotus eater.
Some people define love
As combinations of all,
Either manage them smoothly
Or, let it fall.
Some people for love
Ready to die,
To get love
some people
Even don't try.
For love some people
Even become fool,
Some people for success
Use it as effective tool.
Love to me is
Like the invisible air,
That can be felt
And drags her near.

The Chronicles of Acid Part 2 Forgotten
Such a condemning word
People in herds use it all day
That is why I must say
My rhyme
Forgotten truly means so more much more
It means you've become one to abhor
It means you're not worth remembering
It means you're not worth loving
It means that you'll just fade when you die
Whether or not you do good and help your friends tie
Their ends and make them meet
With loss of memory they'll greet
You as a stranger
You who loved her
Because you're forgotten
Not remembered
Doesn't matter if you surrendered
And gave them everything, because now you're just a pen
Now you're just these words, just the memories you hold
The stories you told
Because all their memory of you
Is 'who? '
Cause now you're forgotten and that's even worse then 'Not Knowing'

Waiting For The Sunrise
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can take your hand and stroll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go on the streets and see the people smile.
Give me your hand,
So I could tell you that things will be alright.
The rooms still dark,
But it wont be so long,
And I can take you outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the park and roll about.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So we can go to the docks and watch the boats go by.
Come on, love, give me your hand,
And things will be alright.
The rooms still cold,
But it wont be so long,
That we can go outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I could see your hair shining in the air.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
So I can see the sky reflected in your eyes.
Come on, love, dont be depressed,
Things will be alright.
The rooms too low,
But it wont be so long,
That we can be outside.
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise,
Waiting for the sunrise.

Stumbles Like Tumbleweeds
Land of lost realities.
And it is difficult to shake,
The people awake.
Those who trusted,
With a faith no one could break!
They have long been fed deceit.
For too long they have been kept asleep.
And the visions confronting them,
They can not believe.
They can not perceive...
Their way of life,
Stumbles like tumbleweeds.
And anyone who insisted...
A standard and quality from them drifted,
Was dismissed.
Just like the times for them now that exist.
Shifting like an earthquake,
That startles quick with splits.
But they can not conceive...
What has been taken for granted,
Now from them leaves.
Like the changing colors in Autumn on trees.
Changing from Summer so dramatically.
And keeping they do an hypocriscy...
Sitting with them to grieve.
As victims from self inflicted wounds to bleed.
Like those 'other' people did...
Once witnessed in the comfort,
Of their homes on TV!
Homes now foreclosed.
And from a time that use to be!
A time now suddenly more like a fantasy.

Forgotten
Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah
I'm giving up on everything
Because you messed me up
Dont know how much you screwed it up
You never listened
Thats just to bad
Because Im movin on
I wont forget
You were the one that was wrong
I know I need to
Step up and be strong
Dont patronize me
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Have you forgotten
Everything that I wanted
Do you forget it now
You never got it
Do you get it now
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah
Gotta get away
There's no point in thinking about yesterday
It's too late now
It wont ever be the same
We're so different now
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Have you forgotten
Everything that I wanted
Do you forget it now
You never got it
Do you get it now
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
I know I wanna run away
I know I wanna run away
Run away
If only I could run away
If only I could run away
run away
I told you what I wanted
I told you what I wanted
what I wanted
But I was forgotten
I wont be forgotten
Never again
Have you forgotten
Everything that I wanted
Do you forget it now
You never got it
Do you get it now
Do you get it now
Have you forgotten
Everything that I wanted
Do you forget it now
You never got it
Do you get it now
Have you forgotten
do you get it now
Forgotten
Yeah yeah yeah
Forgotten
Yeah yeah yeah
Forgotten
Yeah yeah yeah
Forgotten
Yeah yeah yeah
