Stars

'THESE are the floating berries of the night,
They drop their harvest in dark alleys down,
Softly far down on groves of Venus, or on a little town
Forgotten at the world's edge—and O, their light
Unlocks all closed things, eyes and mouths, and drifts
Quietly over kisses in a golden rain,
Drowning their flight, till suddenly the Cyprian lifts
Her small, white face to the moon, then hides again.
'They are the warm candles of beauty, hung in blessing on high,
Poised like bright comrades on boughs of night above:
They are the link-boys of Queen Venus, running out of the sky,
Spilling their friendly radiance on all her ways of love.
'Should the girl's eyes be lit with swimming fire,
O do not kiss it away, it is a star, a star!'
So cried the passionate poet to his great, romantic guitar.
But I was beating off the stars, gazing, not rhyming.
I saw the bottomless, black cups of space
Between their clusters, and the planets climbing
Dizzily in sick airs, and desired to hide my face.
But I could not escape those tunnels of nothingness,
The cracks in the spinning Cross, nor hold my brain
From rushing for ever down that terrible lane,
Infinity's trap-door, eternal and merciless.

Isnt It Romantic

(eric carmen/andy goldmark)
Are the stars just shining brighter?
Is that perfume in the air?
Seems the moon has got control of me
And I dont really care
With our bodies gently swaying
To the rhythm of the night
Has there ever been a place or time
That ever felt so right
Oh, Ive dreamed about this moment
Ever since I saw your face
Now I never wanna let it slip away
Isnt it romantic
How our kisses seem to set the night on fire?
Baby, when I look at you it takes my breath away
Isnt it romantic
When we close our eyes and hold each other tight?
If only love could always be this way
Theres a samba playing somewhere
Or is it just my beating heart?
I can swear I hear the strumming of
A classical guitar
Playing softly while you whisper
All the words Ive longed to hear
As I pull your body close to mine
The world just disappears
Oh, I dreamed about this moment
Ever since I saw your face
Now I never wanna let it slip away
Isnt it romantic
How our kisses seem to set the night on fire?
Baby, when I look at you it takes my breath away
Isnt it romantic
When we close our eyes and hold each other tight?
If only love could always be this way
Isnt it romantic
How our kisses seem to set the night on fire?
Baby, when I look at you it takes my breath away
Isnt it romantic
When we close our eyes and hold each other tight?
If only love could always be this way

Realities

(To the etchings of Norman Lindsay)
Now the statues lean over each to each, and sing,
Gravely in warm plaster turning; the hedges are dark.
The trees come suddenly to flower with moonlight,
The water-gardens to glassy fire, and the night, the night,
Breaks in a rain of stars. O, now the statues wake,
Poise on their leaden stems, and dive into the lake—
And the old Gardener, who has grown old with raking,
Bends by his flickering candle, and hears the noise,
And is nodding his head at a music of copper shaking,
And Mercury whispering to some little graven Boys.
And Venus with Venus is walking in a misty grove,
Their mouths breathless with great lies of Jove,
And the green-silver moon flows quivering down their sides,
Till each is lined in light.
'And this Brass Tower?' she said—
But a stone Faun, clawed to the branches overhead,
Could hold his breath no longer, downward slides,
And crashes in a storm of leaves.—O, look, the lake!
O, the great dolphins from the fountain-rim,
And the rusty Tritons—and O, the branches break—
A flute of ivory shines—it is Apollo come to swim!
Then the skies open with a light from no moon or star,
The dark terraces tremble, melt in a shower of petals;
Flowers turn to faces; faces, like small gold panes,
Are bodied with a mist of limbs—no dark remains,
Nor silence, but there is laughter like bells in air,
A rushing wind of music, torches, dancers everywhere,
And lovers no farther. It is not night nor day,
The world's tissue has utterly crumbled away,
Time is a crusty pond, and that old Mirror, Life,
Has broken, and the ghosts of flesh are stirred
With a new blood, the fluid of eternity,
And mouths that have never spoken, ears that have never heard,
Eyes that have never seen, speak now, and hear, and see.
And I, who have climbed in these unrooted boughs
Behind the world, find substance there and flesh,
Thoughts more infrangible than windy vows,
Love that's more bodily, and kisses longer,
And Cythera lovelier, and the girls of moonlight stronger
Than all earth's ladies, webbed in their bony mesh.
The statues dance, and the old Gardener is asleep,
And golden bodies tread the paths—O, happy shapes,
O, shining ones! Could I for ever keep
Within your radiance, made absolute at last,
No more amongst earth's phantoms to be cast,
No more in the shadowy race of the world exist,
But, born into reality, remember Life
As men see ghosts at midnight—so with me
Might all those aery textures, the world's mist,
Melt into Beauty's actuality!

Rewrite Her Lines

Recently uncovered these lunar lines
bout spacey romantic other times
within another life I hear her name
so listen catch my stargazing game.

Tonight I investigate midnight stars
check out venus soul and mars
charter her planetary sign
read far reaches of mine.

Tonight I'm dressed to confess
leather clad to impress
unmask my lovers disguise
to open her lost eyes.

Tonight black cat moans low
as our astral bodies glow
glow beneath star dripping sky
grappling with ecstasy we lie.

Tonight constellations in flight
blossom full in lunar starlight
as I undress heart and moon
venus spinning through loom.

Tonight I'm laying her bare
going where love navigators dare
hoping to make high score
knocking upon the seductive door.

Tonight I embrace midnight star
reach out to smooth the scar
to crown her vacant star tonight
till dawns first changing light.

Lines sound starry high I guess
overly romantic others might confess
while I'm simply lost within star eyes
imagining in love how time flies.

I Gave My Love A Rose

an infinity of love
may stem from
a gift token given
a single red rose

I gave my love a rose
as I looked within her eyes
I asked a single kiss in
return the bliss of her lips

my love did reply
take as many kisses
as there are stars
in our dark veldt sky

I told her my true love
I loved her more than
the sun the moon all
the stars in the sky above

forgive me my infinity my love
my heart dwells in eternally given love
so happy receiving all your smiles
we speak star light intergalactic styles

wish upon star light star bright
wish you were here each night
the snows so beautiful in soft moon light
covers everything in a beautiful love light

Star

Maurice white, eddie del barrio & allee willis
In the sky, shines a star, spaces,
Near and far, calling out, who you are
And smiling in the night.
Star light, star bright beam across the
Sky -- falling, calling can you tell me why --
Star light, star bright mighty light to see.
Shining, smiling down on you and me --
Star hides from the rain, it turns
Against the pain, fooling many in the game
While smiling in the night --
I can feel the dark, take the night,
Apart, but then, the stars come out
And lift my heart --
Believing, theres a star, for everyone
Makes it easier, to recall, that together
For the children of the world -- theres
A star smiling for us all
Star, shining high, cultivating my desire
Graceful in the sky
And smiling in the night
Chorus out

Star Venus

The night is clear,
The sky is dotted with twinkling stars,
Amidst the star community Venus stands,
With bright twinkling sisters,
In their night dresses pure like pearls,
Venus shepherds sailors
To desired destinations.
Have passed are generations
Will come are generations,
Had seen and will witness
Her majesty star Venus.

The Star outside my window

It was late
I couldn't sleep
The moon lit night was seaping through my window seam
i quietly rolled over on my tummy
as i gazed out at the starry night
i felt so small and weak looking at the millions of stars
just then one star caught my eyes
It was the biggest most spectacular star in the sky
at first i thought it couldn't possibly be a star
i sat still for minutes staring at it
it didn't move
not once
so i closed my eyes in the dead of night
and carefully made my wish to the star outside my fogged up window
i layed back down my eyes blinking shut
a smile on my face
i fell asleep with the sweet though that it might actually come true
that star still shines outside my window every night
my wish never came true

Night Queen

It was deep midnight
the sky was crystal clear
millions not millions
but billions of stars
assembled in the open sky
was it a procession
or obeisance of Night Queen

The downpour of stars
appeared as undulating scarf
studded with jewels
the humming of stars
was breaking silence of nature
as if
singing in praise of night queen

All stars slowly moved down
to horizon of sky
it was the time
for farewell of Night Queen
The king of the day sent a gift
of morning star to embellish her neck
then with a reddish shawl on her shoulder

I asked one of star
why do you assemble after every dusk
the star could not answer
after asking so many stars
I could know the Venus comes
after every dusk
to receive the Night Queen

The Night Queen comes to meet
her beloved Moon and slowly covers
the face of moon for a night

The Night Queen covers the entire creatures
under her veil to give them rest
and to give relief from days toil.

The Star

I HAD a star to sing by, a beautiful star that led,
But when I sang of its splendour the world in its wisdom said:
'Sweet are your songs, yet the singer sings but in madness when
He hymns but stars unbeholden of us his fellows of men;
Glow-worms we see and marshlights; sing us sweet songs of those
For the guerdons we have to give you, laurel and gold and rose;
Or if you must sing of stars, unseen of your brother man,
Go, starve with your eyes on your vision; your star may save if it can!'

So I said, 'If I starve and die I never again shall see
The glory, the high white radiance that hallows the world for me;
I will sing their songs, if it must be, and when I have golden store,
I will turn from the marsh and the glow-worms, and sing of my star once more.'
So I walked in the warm wet by-ways, not daring to lift my eyes
Lest love should drive me to singing my star supreme in the skies,
And the world cried out, 'We will crown him, he sings of the lights that are,
Glories of marshlight and glow-worms, not visions vain of a star!'

I said, 'Now my brows are laurelled, my hands filled full of their gold,
I will sing the starry songs that these earthworms bade withhold.
It is time to sing of my star!' for I dreamed that my star still shone,
Then I lifted my eyes in my triumph. Night! night! and my star was gone.

Dark Bodies (demo)

Dark bodies floating in darkness
No sign of light ever given
Imprisoned in a world without a memory
Unconscious, or am I conscious?
Cut from the heart I am part of
Sometimes it feels as though I'm frozen in heaven
And I saw my own face in the black lonely space
Like a spark frozen grey
Floating away [x2]
In dreams I see myself flying
Closer to the sun and I'm climbing
Tried to touch the sun
But the brightness burned my eyes
Unconscious, or am I conscious?
Fell from the sky like a star
Sometimes it feels as though I'm frozen in heaven
And I saw my own face in the black lonely space
Like a spark frozen grey
Floating away
And I saw my own face in the black lonely space
Like a spark...
My mind was so dark...
My life was so dark...
My mind was so dark...
My life was so dark...
Everything was dark
Unconscious, or am I conscious?
Fell from the sky like a star
Sometimes I feel as though I'm frozen in Heaven
And I saw my own face in the black lonely space
Like a spark frozen grey
Floating away [x2]
And I saw my own face like a spark...floating away

A Stary Sky Given For Love

Me in her laid there in the thick tall grass and watched the sun fall out of the sky and into darkness. I said to her, 'I wish the sun does not leave because once it does I will not be able to see your beautifal face'. Sadly the sun hide from my hopes. As we laid there staring up at the clusters of stars, I cought a glimpse of a shooting star and on that star i wished to see my lovers beautifal face again, for every night untill I die. Ill give every star in the univers to have this wish come true. We drifted asleep giggiling and laughing, when we awoke a few hours later, we looked up at the sky and saw nothing but darkness, but in her hands she held the stars. The glow was so bright, that once again i could see her beautifal face, and I got to spend every night of my life seeing the girl of my dreams, untill I died. But than something happened I wasn't expecting, she was there in heaven, with that smile on her face that warmes my heart every time i see it. It felt like a dream full of fluffy white cotton candy, and every kiss we had was like are first, a kiss like that cant even be dreamed of.

Evening Song Of Senlin

from Senlin: A Biography

It is moonlight. Alone in the silence
I ascend my stairs once more,
While waves, remote in a pale blue starlight,
Crash on a white sand shore.
It is moonlight. The garden is silent.
I stand in my room alone.
Across my wall, from the far-off moon,
A rain of fire is thrown . . .
There are houses hanging above the stars,
And stars hung under a sea:
And a wind from the long blue vault of time
Waves my curtain for me . . .
I wait in the dark once more,
Swung between space and space:
Before my mirror I lift my hands
And face my remembered face.
Is it I who stand in a question here,
Asking to know my name? . . .
It is I, yet I know not whither I go,
Nor why, nor whence I came.
It is I, who awoke at dawn
And arose and descended the stair,
Conceiving a god in the eye of the sun,—
In a woman's hands and hair.
It is I whose flesh is gray with the stones
I builded into a wall:
With a mournful melody in my brain
Of a tune I cannot recall . . .
There are roses to kiss: and mouths to kiss;
And the sharp-pained shadow of death.
I remember a rain-drop on my cheek,—
A wind like a fragrant breath . . .
And the star I laugh on tilts through heaven;
And the heavens are dark and steep . . .
I will forget these things once more
In the silence of sleep.

Earth-Visitors

(To N.L.)
THERE were strange riders once, came gusting down
Cloaked in dark furs, with faces grave and sweet,
And white as air. None knew them, they were strangers—
Princes gone feasting, barons with gipsy eyes
And names that rang like viols—perchance, who knows,
Kings of old Tartary, forgotten, swept from Asia,
Blown on raven chargers across the world,
For ever smiling sadly in their beards
And stamping abruptly into courtyards at midnight.
Post-boys would run, lanterns hang frostily, horses fume,
The strangers wake the Inn. Men, staring outside
Past watery glass, thick panes, could watch them eat,
Dyed with gold vapours in the candleflame,
Clapping their gloves, and stuck with crusted stones,
Their garments foreign, their talk a strange tongue,
But sweet as pineapple—it was Archdukes, they must be.
In daylight, nothing; only their prints remained
Bitten in snow. They'd gone, no one knew where,
Or when, or by what road—no one could guess—
None but some sleepy girls, half tangled in dreams,
Mixing up miracle and desire; laughing, at first,
Then staring with bright eyes at their beds, opening their lips,
Plucking a crushed gold feather in their fingers,
And laughing again, eyes closed. But one remembered,
Between strange kisses and cambric, in the dark,
That unearthly beard had lifted. . . . 'Your name, child?'
'Sophia, sir—and what to call your Grace?'
Like a bubble of gilt, he had laughed 'Mercury!'
It is long now since great daemons walked on earth,
Staining with wild radiance a country bed,
And leaving only a confusion of sharp dreams
To vex a farm-girl—that, and perhaps a feather,
Some thread of the Cloth of Gold, a scale of metal,
Caught in her hair. The unpastured Gods have gone,
They are above those fiery-coasted clouds
Floating like fins of stone in the burnt air,
And earth is only a troubled thought to them
That sometimes drifts like wind across the bodies
Of the sky's women.
There is one yet comes knocking in the night,
The drums of sweet conspiracy on the pane,
When darkness has arched his hands over the bush
And Springwood steams with dew, and the stars look down
On that one lonely chamber. . . .
She is there suddenly, lit by no torch or moon,
But by the shining of her naked body.
Her breasts are berries broken in snow; her hair
Blows in a gold rain over and over them.
She flings her kisses like warm guineas of love,
And when she walks, the stars walk with her above.
She knocks. The door swings open, shuts again.
'Your name, child?'
A thousand birds cry 'Venus!'

Come To My WIndow

Climbing the stairs to the window sitter
With brown eyes that twinkle and glitter
Louder than the shimmering moon over yonder
Gazing at her, for the heart is fonder

My dear princess, Rumpelstiltskin
With a golden locks that spring
From your crowning glittering nest
Golden twigs that fall off in zest

With an Alice band that pulls the locks
As your shadow falls over across
The moon smiles at the glimmering beauty
As the stars in a jealous rage seek mutiny

For an earthly star that glitters like gold
Springing light in to the galaxy's fold
You gaze with your luminescent getaways
At the vast oceans of space in our own milky way

Come to the window my love, for night breaks
Plant a million windy kisses for the skies are awake
For the glittering dwarfs to bow at a giant at heart
For the night to coast, for a starry renaissance to start

As the moon and stars see the flying kisses
Murmurs and whispers lingering in hisses
Jealousy parts for goodwill to prosper
As the stars line up for an earthly caper

With my lass leading the way, dear Rumpelstiltskin
With glittering getaways, tresses and skin
Gazing at the stars on a cold windy night
As the stars explode in to an extravaganza of light

Now the galaxy is filled with light abound
A goddess gazing from a window on a tower mound
As stars line up to fall down from the sky
Shooting to a window from their celestial high

The night embraces a fiesta of color
As stars fall to a window on a lonely tower
Rumpelstiltskin smiles and hold her hand out
To embrace a meteor shower coy she nought

Estrella

Mystery voice whispering sound
Sound of silence, echoes the emptiness
Haunting in chamber of the darkness
Within a sanctuary of nothingness
Embraced, in a giant continent

Hushing the bright,
Parfum de paradise sprayed
Emancipate dusts to be in celestial arm
Touched in calm, with love, He made warm
Pure affection stirred into gravitational attraction
So that the love light can bind, gracing the space
After blowing dearly soul to the center of heart
New born arrived, radiated to the core bright
Wonder if the angels were busy that night
Delivering you a life, new born star to rise

In a far distance,
Reflecting serenade in our eyes
All candles in the sky, diamonds of the night
Letting the heartbeats twinkle, blinking the light
Inspired every single eye to brighten their hearts
As a single shine shimmering the beauty of dark

If other sparks enthrall your sight
My dear estrella, my star of the night
Dont say the light not by your side
Never a star gazing its own light
Truly my eyes witness your starlight

Lanterns of millions for you holding around
Orion smiles could be the brightest one
But dont shy little star, dear estrellita
Can be small, different color of shine
Lovely as you, forever irreplaceable yours
So stay twinkling muse, blinking on us,

Twinkling light, O my Dazzling star,
With other charming shines around you
This sweet night, let moon be our shepherd
Bright in our hands, share loves in the dark,
Surrounding the moon, Ringing with the clouds
Lets paint the glittering light to reach each other hearts
Drawing constellations where we will see our life be bolder
And we shall break the long silence echoes in this chamber
Looking the masterpiece painting, on the sky, calm all travelers
True direction, north to south guidance that never astray forever
O the beauty in each of you, such incomparable my dear star
As you were born with love in the place you are supposed to
If we losing one of the clues, will change the meaning of view

Beauty and night perfection
Never gone, by the rise of morning light
Awaking sun not denying our love for night
This red star only to fulfill the mission given
To remind life born in different unique light vision
As you not an ordinary star, my dear companion

Has reach for us time we born and beauty
Dont you only envy the others shine only
Denying the sparks you have within
Pretending as if we are not exist
Will only fading light in this continent
Where nothingness hiding in the darkness
Allow the sound of emptiness haunting us

So shine my dear estrella, my shining star
Forever shine us with love in our eyes

A New Star

Orbison dees
The evening sun is falling that old blue moon is calling
My guardian angel in the sky came through
To help all my dreams come true theres a new star.
Theres a new star coming tonight, theres a new love burning
So bright for a new star of love is born between the earth and sky
For you and i.
Theres a new star
The moon was dull, the sky was cold and gray
There were no stars to light my lonely way
And then I traced the lovelight in your eyes
To a new star twinkling in the sky burning bright, day and night
Now Im alright, now were together, lovers forever
A new star, a new star to light our way
Theres a new star burning for us, theres a new world turning for us
Theres a new star sparkling in the sky.
Theres a new star shining somewhere and we know the reason why
Theres a new star way up there for a true love
A new star for our love will never die.

Desires and Disillusions

heaven, grant me my wish
i want a sky, so clear and bright
with stars like pearls in the oceans of galaxies
and a crescent moon that will smile at me

heaven, please make it real
i want that starry night to suddenly turn so dark
and from nowhere i would see a spark
a star will fall and will glitter at my sight

heaven, that star will fulfill my childish wish
and i will wish that she'll be with me tonight
together we will watch the rain of fire
with shooting stars in that starless romantic sky

heaven, grant me my wish
i want a star to send her my message
i want a star so that she won't forget
she will remember forever that flash of my love

heaven, that is my wish
a shooting star for my miss..

On A Spoor In The Desert

The blue sky was azure without any cloud
with the hot sun throwing its bright white light
in the afternoon before the coming of night
and the calls of small birds were somewhat loud

as if the vultures were mocking me
while the night suddenly did fall and was black
and the bright evening star I did see
trying to find the Southern Cross to set track

while the desert was stretching everywhere,
my comrades thirsty as never before
with enemy tracks just running here and there,
as if they were going on forever more,

in the moonlight we followed the spoor austere
like ghosts wandering about without any fear.

Snow-White (Part 5)

During this time, with unknown motions of sweet innocence, Snow White
Was walking in the wood to feel the Zephyr's scent and to see the pure light.
The prince was walking on his horseback at dawn lacing through its highs.
Being sad, he wanted to hunt, when the girl's face enlightened his eyes.

''Will he cross the boundary and move over to my side? '' She suddenly thought.
He came to her saying, ''I'm another victim of your beauty, I like you a lot.'
''I'm drowning in my own willingness to give up my strengths for your kiss, ''
''Queen of beauty, to get an approval to kiss you is my overwhelming bliss.'

He started to dismount his horse, because their eyes had magically met.
He kissed her saying, ' I could although avoid your eyes, but I would regret.'
''For this love that thrills my heart, there is no use in this forest to hide,
Skies' golden blessings come for our souls, please, will you be my bride? '

The queen poisoned an apple, '' She's driven by forces beyond her control.
I want her blood and she will eat this apple to pay for me the beauty's toll.''
She disguised herself as a peasant woman to knock on the dwarf's door.
The girl bitted into it, she had the bite in her mouth, when she fell on the floor.

The dwarfs returned home and they cried seeing that she was really dead.
She did not look at all like a dead person and her cheeks' color was still red.
They made a diamante coffin to lie her inside, so that she could be seen.
They wrote the name on it using golden letters to be visible through green.

Snow White laid there in the coffin for a very long time as if she was asleep.
One of dwarfs always stayed at home to keep watching and the tears to weep.
One day, the prince came to the dwarfs' house and saw the dead Snow-White.
She was illuminated by seven candles and he wanted to hold her very tight.

He asked the dwarfs to sell him the coffin with the princess Snow-White inside,
The dwarfs took pity on him and gave him the coffin with his dead bride.
As the prince looked into her eyes, he immediately knew that he can't wait

To be together with his lost bride and he wanted to open the death's gate.

Modern Love XXXII (Okie the zen golden retreiver)

Evening star gives eternal kisses of fireflies
to the dark face of the moon
the joyful moon cracks an ocher grin
and falls in love with a reflection
on the green river
the red tails of dancing fireflies
escape from the moon's mouth
into the adoration
Racoons take off their masks
preparing for bed
the river politely refuses
to carry the lunar mirror
leaves it at the waterfall's door
who returns it to the evening star
during the moon's void
a mocking bird awakens the meditating trees
the rocks hidden under the falls miss the sun
the sun's lover lives an hour of light years away
the lunar grin, reflection, evening star
seek hiding places from the dawn
the sudden stillness gives birth
to thousand of mohican souls
who dance in concentric circles
while running down whitmore falls
the evening star ashamed of history
fades into the blue
the moon finds great happiness
in disappearing
the unseen ocean opens arms
and awaits the moon's image
arias of water sing
eternal mantras
where mind's heart dances
joyous silence of a single note
a breath whispering by
between the longing of the ocean
and the moon's love of infinite reflections
and the adoring evening star
an open window creates a wall
of antigue white and mauve moths
as a golden retreiver leaps from a black rock
chasing a teasing blue heron who flies
up over black trees into the bend of the river
creating dawn, as the golden bellyflops laughing
