Golden Days
I long for those days
which were filled with full of laughter,
Without worrying about time
when we just used to loiter
I miss those days
which were full of pranks n mischief,
When we used to burst into laughing
without minding the crowd or anything
People used to mock us
& call us the laughter stock,
yet we were unmindful
& simply used to rock!
Yes I long for the lost happiness
for the lost world,
My today seems to be void minus those moments
Its like an ocean without a pearl!
For the moments we spent together
were The Best,
As we used to have a blast
with all the zeal n the zest.
Today we know its not possible for us
to rewind again,
As we were girls then, n now a mother n a wife
who has taken a more responsible path now in life.
But I still live in those moments
by rewinding the cute, sweet, unforgettable memories,
By smiling all alone
forgetting all my present worries!

My Canadian Chronicles 13
In each life, there are special moments
we like to remember and recall.
Moments that have brought us laughter
almost cascading into tears.
Moments of great happiness
to last us through the years.
Moments with very special people
who are dearly beloved friends.
Special moments no one can take away.
They happen but once
and are captured forever within our mind.
Special moments within our lifetime.

Early Works - Remember The Moments
Remember the moments
of long, long ago
when we were young
and troubles were few.
Laughing in the rain
with summer showers
bathing in the sun
for hours and hours.
Remember the moments
the highlights of life
of stealing kisses
in the back seats of cars
and the walks at sunset
along a sandy shore
where have they gong
the days of laughter and song.
Capture the moments
as they come to call
capture the beauty
our eyes seeith all.
Remember the times
golden in the grey
remember our love
day after day.

Waving to moments passing by
Moments happy moments
people think about them
people write about them
people talk about them
people hope about them
I see moments
lots of moments
but I wave to my moments
as they pass me by...
My life is a ship
on an Ocean deep
passing by is the ship 'Could've been'
it holds all my moments in its keep
I stand on my lifes deck
waving to moments till they're just a speck
Moments happy moments
people live them
people grab them
people make them
people savour them
but I wave to my moments
as they pass me by...
Goodbye 'Could've been'
Goodbye moments...

The Sands of Tıme
Yesterday.!
I returned to
the beach,
once again
to gather
memories
looking for
a dream.
happy
moments
were spent
there,
moments to
be cherished.
gathering
shells for
our
collections,
whispered
secrets,
laughing
leaving
footprints
in the sand.
Today.!
as I wander
back
only one
set of
footprints
remain.
the other
lost
forever
in the
sands
of time.

Moments
We have treasured moments
we collect everyday,
as we walk our journey
along life’s long and winding road.
Moments that we want to keep
for some sad and lonely day.
Moments to treasure,
when the sun refuses to shine.
Moments to remember
and call upon at anytime.
Moments when we are blessed,
with love and friendship divine.
Moments that we gather,
with love in our memories.
Moments, beautiful moment,
we gather everyday.

I and Mother
I am feeling tired, lonely and uneasy
Even though I tried to keep y self very busy
I have grown to full manhood
Yet that gives me feeling of no good
Something is longed for and I badly miss
I wish some one should come and offer kiss
The one that was offered by mother on forehead
With the affection and love that was clearly read
How secured I had felt in her lap?
Even she was offering gentle slap
That I should not be hurt with more force
She was taking enough care of course
I wish for those days to come back
Today I have everything and nothing at stake
I feel those hands which were moving on my back
Getting me nice sleep with her smiles and approach very frank
Mt whole mouth is filled with word, mother”
I know no one can fill that position either
I wish to cry in her lap and relax
Reach with happiness and those scenes of climax
How those hands were giving me relief in curly hair?
How was she creating nice melody and whisper?
Those words still sing in my ears and provide music
These were the moments I would hardly forget as basis
How old or young you are in age
You always miss her in every page
You get little tears when her memory surfaces
You become impatient to find out all her traces
What could I say today about her?
Only miss her and cry little later
That only reduces my lovely feeing
Otherwise it mains inside and simply killing
It is good to miss all
But mother is supreme with her selfless call
How would not to miss her life long?
As she was always on your side even if went wrong

Life can be fun
Life can have it's ups and downs
days that are dark and Grey
but it also can be full of fun
with laughter along the way.
Some people just make us happy
they make you feel good all the while
you get out of bed feeling lousy
but their humour soon brings a smile.
There are times you need to be serious
because life has it's moments of pain
but laughter can ease the worries
and bring relief to the stress and strain.
In life you will live and learn a lot
have good times along with the bad
but a beautiful rainbow follows the storm
and a friend can lift you when your sad.
So whatever life may throw at you
try and have a laugh and some fun
and while some people can be cold
others can be friendly and warm as the Sun.

Its Been A Long Long Time
Its been a long time...
Since I held you tight.
Its been a long time...
Everyday in this fight.
Its been a long...long...time.
Its been a long time...
Since I've had a kiss.
Its been a long time...
You're pretty blue eyes I miss.
Its been a long...long...time.
Its been a long time...
This Iraqi tour.
Its been a long time...
I miss you so and more.
Its been a long...long...time.
Its been a long time...
Hot days with freezing nights.
Its been a long time...
Sunburned face, mosquito bites.
Its been a long...long...time.
Its been a long time...
Had a real bad day.
Its been a long time...
Lost some soldiers today.
Its been a long...long...time.
Its been a long time...
I suffer everyday.
Its been a long time...
For me to be away.
Its been a long...long...time.
Its been a long time...
For me to be alone.
Its been a long time...
No talking on the telephone.
Its been a long...long...time.
Its been a long time...
Since you heard me say...
Baby, my sweet darling...
I'm leaving Iraq today!

Moments after
Who know what will happen moment after?
Cries may be all over after day of joy and laughter
Destruction all over and mass slaughter
When hate spreads its wings and revenge there after
No one knows what is likely to take place
There may not be any body to offer solace
Better to prepare for worst to follow
Not let up or uncertainty allow
Who ever is alert is bound to succeed?
Careful planning cautiously proceed
May not yield what is expected
Danger may not take over as suspected
Half way is through if alertness is there
Easy solution and path way clear
Full confidence without any fear
Mental preparedness for hardship to bear
Life is full of uncertainty
No one is sure of its continuity
Happy moments should he shared fully
Life may believed in sense truly
“Leave all worries to me” I shall look
Every message is thus read in book
Why worry today when He is present?
Try for best which has got His consent
Life is continuity and noble mission
Needs some divine blessings with submission?
May be there lapses and emission with omission
Still lot of joy left with clear position
It may happen at destined hour
Nothing will be left to claim mine or your
This is one of simplest philosophy of life
Situation is not bad and time is ripe
Moments after and moments now
Hangs a balance for to act and how
If we can understand and manage
Road is open with clear message

Lost Memories
I turn to my past i see all my happy moments
i see all the boys saying i love you
i see all those that say i will never let you down
i see all these people saying you are mine
all these moments made me very happy and smile
i turn to my past again an i see the revers
i see all the boys saying they hate me
i see them all walking away and laughing
i hear my self saying please come back
i see all these people saying i don't want you again disapear
but then i still hear my self yelling please please please
these moments hurt me and made me hate the world
i come back to my present
i see someone smiling at me
showing me a tiny key
i walked up to him and he said
it is the key to your heart have it and decide
i took it and handed it to him saying
now it is yours decide
he opened my heart and sees all my sadness and try all his possible best to make me happy again
now he put the key in a golden case saying i am a gold and pressious
i felt alive again and put his own key in the same case saying now we are one
Again i turned to my past but this time it was different because there was no one there just as if no one has ever been there smiling i put a sign saying LOST MEMORIES heading for my present i decided never to return in my past again

A worth to live
Life is worth living if there is adventure
It is lovely and nice if you see future
There has to be some means and ways
The days can be passed with some hope trays
If not today, tomorrow will be bright
After dark shadow there may emrge light
Nothing remains permanent and may disappear
Life should be spent without any fear
No one has permanaent stake
You need to apply some brake
It may turn soar and not prove as sweet cake
It must be made simple and not presented as fake
It may not cut much ice
It has to be very nice
Make it live with full of promises
You got to act sensible and wise
Nothing may change at the end
Friend may not remain as friend
It is same as we see today
You may be lost on the way
Leave behind memorable feet prints
This not advice or any hint
It may be blown over in due course
The is still wroth living wihout any remorse
There is mission with definite message
You will have to clear the passage
Nothing should hinder your progress
Try to be friendly with full access
Life still remains full of charm
There is absolutely no harm
It is to be lived with full of enthusiasm
There is no scope for any type of passism
Love to live and enjoy the moments
It hardly needs explanation or comments
One has to make it simply beautiful
Only joy and enjoyment should be full

A Song For Europe
(ferry/mackay)
Here as I sit
At this empty cafe
Thinking of you
I remember
All those moments
Lost in wonder
That well never
Find again
Though the world
Is my oyster
Its only a shell
Full of memories
And here by the seine
Notre-dame casts
A long lonely shadow
Now - only sorrow
No tomorrow
Theres no today for us
Nothing is there
For us to share
But yesterday
These cities may change
But there always remains
My obsession
Through silken waters
My gondola glides
And the bridge - it sighs ...
I remember
All those moments
Lost in wonder
That well never
Find again
Theres no more time for us
Nothing is there
For us to share
But yesterdays
Ecce momenta
Illa mirabilia
Quae captabit
In aeternum
Memor
Modo dolores
Sunt in dies
Non est reliquum
Vero tantum
Comminicamus
Perdita
Tous ces moments
Perdus dans l'enchantement
Qui ne reviendront
Jamais
Pas daujourdhui pour nous
Pour nous il ny a rien
A partager
Sauf le pass

Magic Moments
(h. david / b. bacharach)
Magic moments, when two hearts are caring.
Magic moments, memories weve been sharing.
Ill never forget the moment we kissed,
The night of the hay-ride.
The way that we hugged and tried to keep warm
On taking the sleigh-ride.
Magic moments, when two hearts are caring.
Magic moments, memories weve been sharing.
Time cant erase, the memory of
These magic moments, filled with love.
The telephone call that tied up the line
For hours and hours.
The saturday dance I got up the nerves
To send you some flowqers.
Magic moments, when two hearts are caring.
Magic moments, memories weve been sharing.
Time cant erase, the memory of
These magic moments, filled with love.
The way that we cheered on one of our team
For scoring a touch-down.
The time when the floor fell out of my car,
When I put the clutch down.
The petty arcade, the games that we played,
The fun and the prizes.
The halloween hop, when everyone came
In funny disguises.
Magic moments, filled with love. (la la la la la la)

Dry Day
Life as you know will end someday
Since every single day is never the same
Yesterday was a dark age following in today
What a surprise because today was a dry day
You got nothing to do but get wasted
Listen to me brother, don't get me arrested
We gotta break free from this stupid law
What a surprise because today was a dry day
All along as the clock ticked by I waited
It seemed as if the time was all destined
A moment of space without you I stay
What a surprise because today was dry day
Grieving low all past long when I'm high
Help me grace, love will relieve the pain
Let us explore the world as the drunk one said
What a surprise because today was dry day
As past enfolds into this mystery today
I look behind back in those days
Suck glorious moments filled us held today
What a surprise because today was dry day

Remember
I remember moments of happiness
Coming home, goo goo eyed
After talking to a boy I liked
I remember moments of sadness
Coming home, teary eyed
After leaving my heart as a memento
To that boy I really liked
I remember moments of peace
After winning one of life's battles
Having a conscience the weight of air
I remember moments of bliss
After walking the quarter of a lifemile
Finding a true friend
I remember moments of grief
After finding that dear friend
Would never have breakfast again
I remember moments of laughter
After the past had past
And the rearview revealed frustration's
humor
I remember moments of tears nectar
When I found my dreams dead
After the doctor helped me number my
days
I remember moments of pain
When all I ever needed was lacked
And all I ever lacked was needed
I remember moments of gain
After all I ever wanted was mine
And all I ever wanted to be was I
I remember moments of love
When a hug made my heart skip
And a smile made my life smile
I remember moments of hurt
When pain blurred love's beauty
And that hug made my heart shrug
I remember moments like this
When I remember all I remember
And remember that life is but a moment.

Turtledoves Now Cries
My findings are now lost in time
I will have to wait until next lifetime to find again
Gone now like the seasons
Dashed ashore by the tides of change to be smashed against the rocks of time
Gone out of my life love taken true
Winds beneath my sails are now calm as the sea in late July
My words of melancholy now fall on deaf ears
Sacrifice the moments gone bye
New days has dawned and behind left the soul of my true content
Ever more I should try before I die
Desists yet my wondering soul for I have lost true love gone bye
Wait no more for my heart has been plundered
My dreams dashed and pillaged I seek no more in vein
Trod on lonesome soldier for tomorrow was never promised to I
Left now are memories of days spent in my happiness
Disillusion is what I see for my tender years to come
Woe for I miss the days when life zest blossomed specially
Years so precious can never renew
Forged alliances now in dismay
The hour is upon us all now
No longer for the taking for turtledoves now cries

Lost My Childhood
Yes i lost my childhood.
And it will never return.
I lost the innocient life
which i used to live.
I lost the fairy dreams
Which helped me for sound sleep.
Yes i lost toy car which i paddled for long.
i remember those fairy tales my mom told me.
I was a small school kid once,
Yes, I lost those moments.
With every day passing i am losing it
And i know it will never return.
Its true that i miss those days
But thats what i can only do.
I wanted to become big
But i was never aware of this hell.
I lost that laugh, i lost that joy.
I want that childhood again
I want to be a boy.
But all i got is a loss of childhood.

Passing Age
Why are memories lost in the tempest of time,
cannot be resurrected to remember moments
from our childhood far away?
At the times when our hearts desire them,
yet on cloudy days in passing age
when they are least desired
they come back like building bricks
tumbling down a spiral stairs.
Exploding though our minds
like little fireworks, bursting momentarily bright
only to be lost again in the frigid night.
What triggers childhood moments
to pounce on us in absent days?
When life has us suspended
on the ladder of passing age.

Capturing life with precious moments to spare,
With smiles and love and timing so rare,
Living on forevermore within frames for all to see,
With a child's laughter as precious as can be.
Capturing memories of a soon forgotten childhood,
And family moments that never felt so good.
A truthful memoir in beautiful display,
Of a family picnic on a newborn summer day.
To savor the moments of joyous proportion,
Knowing it could all end in distortion.
Capturing the moments of an infant's first step,
Or a Christmas morn shining with pep.
An image of laughter and joyous jest,
A friendship jokes what they thought was best.
Memories taken of a sweet romance,
Of two young kids at their first school dance.
Capturing life with precious moments to spare,
With smiles and love and timing so rare.

Solitude Of Togetherness
I love my solitude
Coz when I am lonely
I am with you
I feel ur presence around me.
The moments of our togetherness
Comes alive again
The moments of joy, laughter, sorrow
The moments we shared 2gether
Moments when we sat side by side
And let the silence speak for us
Its when I am lonely
The time comes to a stop
And I relive our memories
I feel the happiness of ur compainionship
I feel the pain of losing u
I understand what u meant to me
And how much I love you
I love my solitude
I find solace in my lonliness
And I am with you
