Courtship
Violet mantric reeves of crinoline lips
These dreams are trumpets of love
Inside golden halls
Whispers of the gallant ghosts
Relative moonlight of gossamer rings
We know angels are here
Don't be afraid of the ancient relics
Sometimes shadows talk
Sleep with your new kitten
Your quilt is old and mystic
The vase of roses
I court your ancestry
Your eyes are lovely carriages
Your hands the veins of queens
Blood is a lion
Time a rite of passage
You dream of them
They have dreamed you
Courtship is a sacred gathering

Golden Kiss
await your roses in my dreams
Carriages of the troubadour well
Castles in fauve visions of Keats
Every cryptic flower sings of you
Now the world is extravagant grace
Elegant tendrils of spring’s rapture
Colors of the gardens divine wisdom
Love plants vines of mystic wine
Poetry as soft as summer flutes
My darling your eyes are like a forest
Night brings lips of serene moonlight
Joy shines over the sea of harmony
Adagios of romance like mystic begonias
Stars swirl and we are the dance of wind
Cupid has sent his sweet nightingales
Fountains of your heart pour into bliss
I am awakened by a golden kiss

Afraid To Sleep
We slept in this room together but now youre gone
And its so quiet I turn the tv on
We lived in this room together we painted the walls
Now time doesnt stand still
It crawls
And Im afraid to sleep
Cuz if I do I dream of you
And dreams are always deep
On the pillow where I weep
I never realized how much I was in love with you
Until you started sleeping with someone new
Last night I dreamed again and you were there
You kissed my face you touched my hair
And Im afraid to sleep
Cuz if I do I dream of you
And dreams are always deep
On the pillow where I weep
Lying alone in the darkness with a memory in my head
Theres a big hole where my heart is
And a lonely feeling rollin round my bed
And Im afraid to sleep
Cuz if I do I dream of you
Im afraid to sleep
Cuz if I do I dream of you
And dreams are always deep
On the pillow where I weep
On the pillow where I weep
Im afraid to sleep.

Ghosts Of The Full Moon
Every moonbeam radiates joy
Sycamore trees in shadows of the sea
Savannah grass in green waves
Mystic winds blow the ancient souls
Let the fingers of night caress
Let the feelings sigh like a shaman
See the buffalo graze under the stars
Naked stars that pry memories
Stars of the future birth
Angel night where awe sails on time
We are temples
We are spiritual
We are part of the ghost world
Pearls of emerald waves
Seagulls fly like sailors souls
Onyx moon of silver ancestry
Valley of Kidron and golden tombs
Dreams walk the hallowed corridors
Touch the sacred wells deep in the sky
Irish fields green with souls
Ghosts of the Great Barrier Reef
Eyes like wandering lions
Buried inside the Great Wall of China
Castles along the Seines
Ships rise in the galaxies
Have you felt the shivers of the moors?
The ancient ones of the full moon
Villages appear in hallways of sleep
Words from the winds of love
Flaming swords with two edges
Gates where living waters flow
Caravans of stars
Desert visions
Black Sea silk
Her ecstasy is in a room of mirrors
Michael Angelo’s bust emanates
Rembrandt in the silent museum
Raphael grounded in sanity
Yellow lamp of ancient quills
Whale oil sires the ancient graves
Icy waves of the mariners vault
Stairways in a New Orleans house
Night as quiet as fear
Have your felt the river of night?
Have you seen green eyes stare?
Lovers feel a stranger in their bed
Do you believe in vampires? I do
Van Gogh was haunted
Soon you will hover
Soon we will be the night
Islands of Jules Verne
Opium dens of Calcutta
Tibetan monks chant
Impudent vengeance never sleeps
Sword of Spartacus revels in anger
Magnolia slaves of the plantations lair
Red eyes, keep a night light on
Avenues of Hades belladonna
Byron dressed in black velvet
Jim Morrison at a séance
Edgar Allen Poe knew the night
Indigo trees in the wind
Mango ghosts
The Nile where cobra’s laugh
Brazilian rosewood dreams
Spanish ghosts of Mediterranean blood
Tireless Volga a sage of time
Ethereal eyes like a slaughter
Tribes are wandering the silt fields
Mountains ghosts
Celtic rivers of the vivid mind
Can you feel their candles?
The wings of night flutter
Shadows merge breathing constellations
The wind blows the curtain lace
They gather in costumes under moonlight
Ghosts of the full moon

Gifts of God
Water of life flows in my heart
We hear the stars serenade
Orion’s Belt seems too breathe
Raindrops dappled with tenderness
Clouds clasp the blue sky
What is love but seeing beauty
When spiritual order is touched we smile
Spirit of life glows in morning sun
Moonlight of feathers in your kiss
These dancing circles of golden rings
Ceremonies of ancient wine
We are the angels on the wing
Gentleness exciting the blood of ghosts
Grandfather clocks chime in the parlor
Mystical winds stare in dream catchers
Cryptic eyes from lore folded in time
We are the myths dancing in elegance
Gifts of God brighter than wildfire

Mystic Tubes
Trees with fruit of supple desire
Orange frayed with her fire
Desert winds sigh like whips
Her lips consume my crypt
Bask in wet sumptuous brass ships
Evening moves with sequined silk
Lost on islands of golden nectar
She brings me the inside rivers
I am beaten like smooth olive oil
Alley Cat prowls the night
Screens open with rain
Chacras open to her wolves
She comes into the gossamer visions
Wet hungry panthers
Cryptic whispers in the shadows
Welts and scratches
She is awake like satin ghosts
I am laid for hours by mystic tubes

I Dreamed.
I dreamed a dream and in that dream,
I dreamed that I had dreamed a dream,
Of hope and fairytales come true,
I dreamed a dream and thought of truth,
I dreamed a dream of life and love,
Of fate and angels and God above,
I dreamed a dream of good wishes and friends,
I dreamed a dream I dreaded to end,
But then I woke into my dream,
I dreamed I woke in a world obscene,
I dreamed a dream of violence and hate,
And once again I dreamed of fate,
I dreamed a dream of terror and fear,
I dreamed that each word went unheard,
And so children never spoke a word,
I dreamed a dream of demons and beasts,
I dreamed a dream that ended at last,
I woke in my bed and wondered if,
I dreamed a dream of dreams or if,
I dreamed a dream of truth that night,
And if so I wondered which was truth,
And which was merely a dream.

Roses
(melba montgomery, leslie satcher)
A soft summer evening, another time, another place
He brought her red roses on their very first date
She got carried away by the things that he said
Time would erase them but she would never forget
Chorus:
And the roses heard it all
The rose in her hair, the rose in her hand
The roses in the paper on the wall
Theres a story to tell if the roses could talk
Somewhere close to midnight, another time, another place
She lays in the darkness with tears on her face
While he talks in his sleep confessing his love
He calls out a name that shes never heard of
Repeat chorus
She never told him
She never let him see her cry
Only the roses know
What she kept down inside
The years took their toll and the angels took her away
Now theres family and friends at a cold winters grave
He kneels down and whispers. youre the only love that Ive known
As he lays a rose on a cold marble atone
But the roses heard it all
The rose from her garden, the rose in her bible
The roses in the paper on the wall
Theres a story to tell if roses could talk
What a story to tell if roses could talk~

Lamp of Crystal
Golden flame amidst silver mountains
Echo canyon still as moonlight
Love rides thunder in blood of passion
Drink from fountains of amethyst
Sanguine rubies of violet stars
Maidens of fire dance in gossamer blue
Red beams of Mars drink the light
Desire lit journeys into the fire
The earth dresses like a bride
Spring belongs to every bold lover
Sanctuary invites me into her forest
Rivers dressed in lime flow like elves
She has brought back the noble eagles
Diamond eyes sparkle like lighthouses
She walks on moss made of dreams
Tendrils of wildflowers by the sea
Her hair washed in the glorious dawn
Man awakes to his lovely destiny
Silhouettes share the sighing purples
Regal creation in mystical moonlight
We walk softly filled with radiant joy
Songs of the ancient garden
Man and woman amidst the summer
Shielded by flaming angels
Circles filled with rose pedals
Ideals in unspoken onyx necklaces
Consciousness revels in the universe
Candle of divine love in gowns of sky
Lamp of Crystal lit in the Milky Way

Silver Shadows Golden Dreams
Within the silver shadows
are locked our golden dreams
waiting patiently for us
to find the key and then set them free.
Dreams of love everlasting
to last us through our days,
dreams of happiness for evermore,
to let us smile through our life’s troubles.
They lay within the silver shadows
locked away in the recesses of our mind,
those golden dreams we dream about
from time to time.
The meandering wasteland,
within our shell of eternity,
where our dreams sleep,
awaiting us to awake them to make their escape.
The key is in us to unlock them
from within the silver shadows
where our golden dreams await
to be free to come true.

My Muse
They come in silk moonlight
Rising in the high notes
Lingering in corridors of poetry
Sighing in sweet chords
Tribes of ancient color
Spanish silver
Flamingo guitars
Lioness awakens my dry heart
Crinoline forest of mystic joy
Spanish moon shines like a spell
She has come from the sea
She brings me the hurt
She brings me compassion
Love is all the falsely accused
Be a man who cares she says
Her vision surrounds me
Her bracelets of Ulysses
Flowers of Ithaca
Tendrils grow in red gold
Feel the fingers of myth
Centuries in her soft touch
Rings filled with fate
The music burns dusky candles
Castles in the crying wind
See the broken man
Feel the wounded
Her breasts are filled with tears
She tells me of the poor
I am the narrow man of gold
I seek her eyes of beauty
She says grow like the forest
Let your heart see justice, mercy
Dancing by windows
Revel like new flowing love
She moves in shadows of time
Wrapped in gossamer stars
Hear the sweet piano
Feel the beat of fire
Cymbals shimmer with life
She reads a poem of Pablo Neruda
My muse wet like the sea

Good night a family
Burn the shadows down the road
‘cause the the road is pretty much the same
As those shadows that would be burnt
Homeless whispers with tears falling down
I comfort hope this really sad sorrow sad eyes
Will close down in a dream
Butterflies hanging down the hair made of gold
Golden autumn grounds of streets that wind
My finger rings of crackling flames
Good night a family
Sleep thee well my dear …
‘What was really going on was a hide? In your dreams? Good night.’

Don't Go Chasing Shadows
Don't go chasing shadows
When the night is a lion
Into a night that goes
With the last of a lonely ion
The night is in my love song
Thru the dark and mist
All days that touches and long
That yearning have kissed
Day by day left behind
Morning weary waking eyes
To the light day shall find
In the mist of daybreak skies
Don't go chasing shadows
When the night is a lion
Into a night that goes
With the last of a lonely ion
All in heart of the deep
Blossoms growing in spring
What they felt in their sleep
As they turn around to sing
Tomorrow´s awaking call
Feelings torching like lullabies
Beautiful dreams for all
Making love and inner ties
Dreams will never come true
If you keep on going lonely
Never seeing them coming thru
Just being inside of you only
Don't go chasing shadows
Don't go chasing shadows
When the night is a lion
Into a night that goes
With the last of a lonely ion

Soft As Heaven
Your arms of the Taj Mahal
You capture the drowning feathers
Red crinoline rainbows
Norway pines sighing in the Rockies
Sky with visitors
Venus has winds of fire
Buffalo like ghosts of the plains
We ride the crest of the tides
Slow rhythmic mystic tides
Gather the philodendrons
Dream on golden fields
Sing in the honey meadows
Breeze with fingers of poetry
Dreams sing like crystal rivers
Radiant cardinals on the boughs
Robins share such hope
Children laugh like islands
Night brings a gracious dawn
The sheets still have star dust
I love to hold you
I love to awake with you next to me
Inspired to be a better man
You sleep like a honeymoon
Your hair as soft as heaven

Bernadette
Waves of moonlight flow
She is the giving sea
I am the land of loneliness
She walks the whispering shore
She prays by the silent dawn
We connect like tropic waters
Parrots along the river
Vines with mystic leaves
Ancient waves of wholeness
Ripe fruit sings in the wind
Your fire glows in forest roses
Dreams sigh with golden flesh
Your words bring the tide
Ancient shells of Aphrodite
Women as strong as stars
Necklace of regal desire
Your wet beasts haunt me
Bernadette glows in the moonlight

Afraid To Sleep
The night is still the wind is chilled
I hear the rain falling on my window pane
Cant close my eyes, afraid to sleep
Cause when I do I would only dream of you
Im trying to forget that we ever met
But how can I forget and dream of you?
Afraid to sleep because Id dream of you
Afraid to sleep because Id wake up feeling blue
If I stay awake forever, wed never be together
So Ill close my eyes and go ahead and dream
Sweet dreams
Sweet dreams
Sweer dreams....

Golden Lady
Looking in your eyes
Kind of heaven eyes
Closing both my eyes
Waiting for surprise
To see the heaven in your eyes is not so far
Cause Im not afraid to try and go it
To know the love and the beauty never known before
Ill leave it up to you to show it
And golden lady, golden lady
Id like to go there
Golden lady, golden lady
Id like to go there
Take me right away
Looking at your hands
Hands can understand
Waiting for the chance
Just to hold your hand
A touch of rain and sunshine made the flower grow
Into a lovely smile thats blooming
And its so clear to me that youre a dream come true
Theres no way that Ill be losing
And golden lady, golden lady
Id like to go there
Golden lady, golden lady
Id like to go there
Take me right away
A touch of rain and sunshine made the flower grow
Into a lovely smile thats blooming
And its so clear to me that your my dream come true
There is no way that Ill be losing
Golden lady, golden lady
Id like to go there
Golden lady, golden lady
Id like to go there
Repeat and fade

Ghosts Of The Sea
Calyx of forgotten souls
Crushed in the labyrinth
The sea whispers with ghosts
Cold night of the mariner
I hear the sigh of time
Every cry a breath of starlight
These dreams wash ashore
All your shelter leaves you
She fades like a winters day
No footprints along the tide
Seagulls circle golden history
Baroque poetry elegant as blue
Royal blue filled with radiant love
Ambiguous as the free will
Hard like diamond sextant notions
Under the sea my heart shines
Do we belong too one another?
Will the eastern sun bring us home?
I seek your values
I seek everyman free
I am the poor and frightened
You are the vulnerable
You are the divorced and hurting
We are the ghosts of the living sea
No epithet on the mystic waters
Names in ancient mystery
Caverns deep with leviathan
Wedding rings of the four winds
Empires rage tossed in the waves
Our ship joins mighty Neptune
Mountain villages with lanterns
Kelp and seaweed by our grave
Icy waters of the gracious Irish Sea
Crypts of the dusky Black Sea
For the sea shall give up its dead
A thousand tongues of the wind
We are beneath the pirate ships
Let the tides sing of love
Stars over the mighty Atlantic
Gales howl and we are at peace
Snowmelts like icy rivers of joy
Blending takes brave trust
Closer and wet with volcanoes
Islands swept with hurricanes
We were here and still are
Our candles join the tides
Moonlight eyes stare at me
The wind has called us
Whispering ghosts of the sea

Ballade Of The Dream
Swift as sound of music fled
When no more the organ sighs,
Sped as all old days are sped,
So your lips, love, and your eyes,
So your gentle-voiced replies
Mine one hour in sleep that seem,
Rise and flit when slumber flies,
Following darkness like a dream!
Like the scent from roses red,
Like the dawn from golden skies,
Like the semblance of the dead
From the living love that hies,
Like the shifting shade that lies
On the moonlight-silvered stream,
So you rise when dreams arise,
Following darkness like a dream!
Could some spell, or sung or said,
Could some kindly witch and wise,
Lull for aye this dreaming head
In a mist of memories,
I would lie like him who lies
Where the lights on Latmos gleam, -
Wake not, find not Paradise
Following darkness like a dream!
ENVOY.
Sleep, that giv'st what Life denies,
Shadowy bounties and supreme,
Bring the dearest face that flies
Following darkness like a dream!

Choriambics
Love, what ailed thee to leave life that was made lovely, we thought, with love?
What sweet visions of sleep lured thee away, down from the light above?
What strange faces of dreams, voices that called, hands that were raised to wave,
Lured or led thee, alas, out of the sun, down to the sunless grave?
Ah, thy luminous eyes! once was their light fed with the fire of day;
Now their shadowy lids cover them close, hush them and hide away.
Ah, thy snow-coloured hands! once were they chains, mighty to bind me fast;
Now no blood in them burns, mindless of love, senseless of passion past.
Ah, thy beautiful hair! so was it once braided for me, for me;
Now for death is it crowned, only for death, lover and lord of thee.
Sweet, the kisses of death set on thy lips, colder are they than mine;
Colder surely than past kisses that love poured for thy lips as wine.
Lov'st thou death? is his face fairer than love's, brighter to look upon?
Seest thou light in his eyes, light by which love's pales and is overshone?
Lo the roses of death, grey as the dust, chiller of leaf than snow!
Why let fall from thy hand love's that were thine, roses that loved thee so?
Large red lilies of love, sceptral and tall, lovely for eyes to see;
Thornless blossom of love, full of the sun, fruits that were reared for thee.
Now death's poppies alone circle thy hair, girdle thy breasts as white;
Bloodless blossoms of death, leaves that have sprung never against the light.
Nay then, sleep if thou wilt; love is content; what should he do to weep?
Sweet was love to thee once; now in thine eyes sweeter than love is sleep.

~red~
Oaths made in broken promises
Get always red as they grow old
Fluffy vanilla sky whispers to me
the red land of possibilities
That you are as always mine
Clad in clouds of red chiffon
flying moving intertwined in my dreams
And dreams of fairy telling story of a fairy
In strings of a smile's guitar
Lips blushing ballads of love in red red cherries
Sometimes red in hatred clouds hit each other
in words à plaisir
Sounds in clarinets mocking each other, rhythm
of a patch-up ukulele, trumpets singing our tempers
mood swings jingling in tambourines
Mortal and melodious
Yet my eyes are red
for i see only red in roses
they are still red with the tears you shed for me
Tears of a saxophone is all i can smell
But i do not have enough red running in my veins
let me now sail away from your dreams causing nights so sleepless
I want to bite my night with your silent nightmare
and time's turtle ship be sailing in your eyes
Now you are the only one whom for i feel
yes to be a heart
A heart full of questions where only shadows are but answers
Now crows caw my morning red
As i heave you in breath of a red tea in a red cup
croissants, fromage and crotons only sharpen
the instrument to devour
But silence of time has to write so many untold stories
in wrinkles and blurred eyes, blemishes on skin
and may be walks ambulatory
bringing a procession of dead hopes
for my red to hush in white curtail like you
Let my last words oscillate
from the time we started until the time unknown to us another
So that when i scale the drapes of your sky so blue
inside your mouth so silent so long so high
then i can only say this world is really green
After your blues are served in my red
red balloons containing the breath of my life
remaining or what remained.
