Blue Islands

Nubian mermaids rise with ice eyes
Snow glares on tamarack and pines
Respite the glowing land of Neptune
Reverb the guitars without rules
Light and sound rejoice everywhere
Radiant notes on fire with moon glare
Prayer travels the stars everyday
Ships visit the distant Milky Way

Pause into an ancient corridor of Dali
Everything breathing under the gold sea
Being, smooth like a mountain rivers cry
Your clocks mean nothing to the sky
Have you seen the dolphins swim free
What is time without your dreams?
Bliss the rest of bold eternal wings
Blow free you joyful stardust winds

I feel the wondrous blue islands

Divine Spice

Beneath the ashes golden rivers
Feathers preened in gentle winds
Beacons like snow capped mountains
Shine on all you humble friends
Gold finches with ebullient joy
Her marvelous smile is a dream
Fields of yellow daffodils
Wreaths made of ancient streams

Muse wiser than great Solemn
Sleep in dreams of acacia and honey
Spirit of the garden gently blows
She awakes the fire of dawn in me
Night blazes with cleansing fire
Zephyrs of first delicate love
Recipients of eternal stars
The mystic moon shines above

Perfume rich from apple blossoms
Barley sires elegant meadows of time
Radiant soul elegant as maple leaves
Autumn shelters beauties sweet delight
Voices gentle with patience sing forever
The cloak of the muse in purple twilight
Candles shine on her face of rapture
Stars of ruby queens prickle the night

Tides glow with embellished blue
Light dances like mysterious elves
Gatherings of the oaks and pines
Owls amidst the eagle’s high realm
Born in rivers laced with romance
The royal sea sparkles in her eyes
Nectarines in orchards of cinnamon
Love is truly the eternal divine spice

Laurels Of Green

Trees filled with starlight
Wise rivers in the root of life
Cedar leaves banners of Solomon
White pine laugh with the elves
Poems of the ancient sequoias
Whispering forests by the sea
We are the fallen race of men
They have not been banished
They are free with no guilt or shame
They know no war like strife of man

They speak of the fire from above
We walk softly on velvet moss
Wild flowers, apple orchards, ferns
My darling have you heard?
Lets go out tonight in the moonlight
Blueberries grow free and wild
Eagles filled with grace and joy
Oak and basswood, grapevines
The grass awaits the savory rain
Solitude walks in the morning dew

Have you seen the magic islands?
Decorated with lavish palm trees
Coconuts, pineapples, breadfruit grow
Sandy beaches lit with tropic sun
Volcanoes rise like spires of mystery
Paradise by a sea of green blue dreams
Beads of seeds with spells of shamans
A crown of green that rules the night
Hear tides crash into the mountains side
Rain forests with tendrils of Eden

Tread on bareback mountains gloom
Where winds sing pure and free
Steep as love near precipitous gorges
Beauty walks amidst clouds and rainbows
Waterfalls fill with pristine melting snow
Streams feed the rivers of unyielding myth
Forests of shining green fill the valley
Stars glisten through the pines of night
Like ancient eyes that guard the earth
This land is filled with a mystic glow

Lovers of the great father sun
Old like legends of gnomes and moonbeams
No guile or pretense no masks to wear
Violets, peonies, orchids and the rose
Lilies on ponds and fields
Graced with the voice of song birds
Breezes in your hair of gold
Tales of the winds of old
When the trees ruled in gentle peace
Lovers need the laurels of green

Ghosts Of The Sea

Calyx of forgotten souls
Crushed in the labyrinth
The sea whispers with ghosts
Cold night of the mariner
I hear the sigh of time
Every cry a breath of starlight
These dreams wash ashore
All your shelter leaves you

She fades like a winters day
No footprints along the tide
Seagulls circle golden history
Baroque poetry elegant as blue
Royal blue filled with radiant love
Ambiguous as the free will
Hard like diamond sextant notions
Under the sea my heart shines

Do we belong too one another?
Will the eastern sun bring us home?
I seek your values
I seek everyman free
I am the poor and frightened
You are the vulnerable
You are the divorced and hurting
We are the ghosts of the living sea

No epithet on the mystic waters
Names in ancient mystery
Caverns deep with leviathan
Wedding rings of the four winds
Empires rage tossed in the waves
Our ship joins mighty Neptune
Mountain villages with lanterns
Kelp and seaweed by our grave

Icy waters of the gracious Irish Sea
Crypts of the dusky Black Sea
For the sea shall give up its dead
A thousand tongues of the wind
We are beneath the pirate ships
Let the tides sing of love
Stars over the mighty Atlantic
Gales howl and we are at peace

Snowmelts like icy rivers of joy
Blending takes brave trust
Closer and wet with volcanoes
Islands swept with hurricanes
We were here and still are
Our candles join the tides
Moonlight eyes stare at me
The wind has called us

Whispering ghosts of the sea

I Dream of a New Land

my soul chained with fears
caged in a dark place
cries with sorrowful tears
down my pale, hollow face

the notes of my song die
before even being born
my broken wings cannot fly
deep in my heart, I can feel
this sharp, constant thorn

I dream of a new land
the land of the blue skies
-the land of the free-
across this desert,
across this dry sand
across this stormy sea

will I dare to act on my dreams?
will I dare to rise and break my chains?
will I dare to free all the inside screams?
will I dare to reveal all my pains?

my soul without any fears
flies free in a colorful place
cries with new happy tears
down my bright, beautiful face

a new song is born in an instant
I carry it on my new silver wings
there’s no time and no distance
I’m born in the eternal existence
my heart forever sings

I dream of a new land
the land of the blue skies
-the land of the free-
across this desert,
across this dry sand
across this stormy sea

We Are Dreams

Walk like children on river moonlight
Sovereign stars of infinite gentle topaz
She shines like spring waters
Laramie ribbons shoulder the dawn
Mountain mist with blue ice eyes
Drink from streams with no adultery
Inspiration from the winter sun
Green peppermint dreams
Purple dresses swoon the market
No twisted thorns shall ruin the day
Gifts of joy swell the river

Diamond smiles circle the night
Dusk has no war only ships of peace
Gardens march like childhood
Naïve blue sky speaks softly
The bass is deep like a galaxy
Wings bright as mellow gold
A voice of wisdom shall prevail
Lets wear flowers that sing
The shore brings scallion colors
We are revealed in naked mercy
The ages live like rainbows

Streets dance with embroidered sage
Aspen gather the singing stars
Made by fire in the ancient ways
Seeds with trees of angels
Growing in free gardens of peace
Tribes of gardens will win
No fear shall stand against love
We are the unorganized momentum
Turquoise grows like innocence
Isn’t it beautiful to feel the universe?
Rejoice amidst your eternal friends

We come up from the strange sea
Revel in the haunting wind
Eons sail in the pirate rainbows
Remember every tender touch
Every vibration sent by love
Shells with pink dawns sing
Time melts like centuries flow
We gather roses of mystical suns
Radiant waves sigh with stars
Paint your crayon hearts
We are dreams of infinite today

Time only has so much Time

Pearl fire of aqua language
Poets purge the unconscious forms
Wings of ethereal justice and beauty
She has mercy in her piercing eyes
Stone lions chase ravens
The claws of silence
Forever past in granite
There in the wind hides legacy

Voices of the deep sapphire sea
Gardens where forgiveness glides free
Trench warfare is over
Below the equinox
By palm trees of ice
Egyptian mummies walk in the valley
She hands me a vision
A vision lacking the entire world

Freedom is a dream found in libraries
Mortal fear wrestles with morning
All the gates are locked
By the fountain a golden flower grows
Dialogue with Dante’s Inferno
Winds of Shelley’s thorns
Poseidon sails in a Roman slave ship
Spartacus meditates vengeance

Myth becomes the shields of armies
Pirates steal Caesars bold inscription
Opium ships bring their cargo west
Denizens read Verlaine and Virginia Woolf
A more perfect union visions of Voltaire
Autonomous Atlas lifts the weight of the world
Through symbols and dreams the fog lifts
Shaman prophets die early deaths

Let the clowns swim with the mermaids
Every one needs dreams that dance
Escape to the islands and look over the precipice
Along the mountain passes feel the free air
Sleep under the moon with your wise lover
Lord Byron’s black steeds ramble the night
Walk through forests of emerald romance
Let your dreams escape from self torment

Dharma mountains rise in spires
Genuflect in neurotic salvation
Holy water with fluoride
The womb of peace
Adults suck their thumbs
Deep in the caves of Greek enigma
Collective unconscious circles
The mirror of gravestones

On the road where gamblers shine
Heroes like rivers rolling to the sea
Poet readings sigh in history
The beats tap their feet to free jazz
Slowly the shadow drives the wind
The magic hour fades and the dust settles
Fire passed by the seers of art
We read biographies of bold alleys

The bells of Notre Dam ring
Along the Seines painters gather
Porcelain shrines decorated in dying flowers
Sleep in towers with winding stairways
Hands tied by stolid fate
All these questions hide in dusky caves
Sometimes the stars look like cold ice
Ideals punished by the ticking clock

Here comes the tide washing everything
All this desolate stench
All this waste
Now the sun seems just the same
Centuries move like angels
What really matters is the day is bright
Meaning the clarity of generations
These ancient alphabets are written on time

Time to live because time only has so much time

Gold

We rovers bold,
To the land of Gold,
Over the bowling billows are gliding:
Eager to toil,
For the golden spoil,
And every hardship biding.
See! See!
Before our prows' resistless dashes
The gold-fish fly in golden flashes!
'Neath a sun of gold,
We rovers bold,
On the golden land are gaining;
And every night,
We steer aright,
By golden stars unwaning!
All fires burn a golden glare:
No locks so bright as golden hair!
All orange groves have golden gushings;
All mornings dawn with golden flushings!
In a shower of gold, say fables old,
A maiden was won by the god of gold!
In golden goblets wine is beaming:
On golden couches kings are dreaming!
The Golden Rule dries many tears!
The Golden Number rules the spheres!
Gold, gold it is, that sways the nations:
Gold! gold! the center of all rotations!
On golden axles worlds are turning:
With phosphorescence seas are burning!
All fire-flies flame with golden gleamings!
Gold-hunters' hearts with golden dreamings!
With golden arrows kings are slain:
With gold we'll buy a freeman's name!
In toilsome trades, for scanty earnings,
At home we've slaved, with stifled yearnings:
No light! no hope! Oh, heavy woe!
When nights fled fast, and days dragged slow.
But joyful now, with eager eye,
Fast to the Promised Land we fly:
Where in deep mines,
The treasure shines;
Or down in beds of golden streams,
The gold-flakes glance in golden gleams!
How we long to sift,
That yellow drift!
Rivers! Rivers! cease your goings!
Sand-bars! rise, and stay the tide!
'Till we've gained the golden flowing;
And in the golden haven ride!

Endless Sea

By the sea she dreams in quiet longing
Sea gulls fly free, clouds drift with out care
Waves swell and playfully role

I see her from a far, the beach is ours
Blue skies shine on golden sand
The season for love has finally arrived

Her hair falls down in the morning sun
Her soft eyes look far into the distant sea
I can't keep from watching her

Foot prints in the sand, sea weed, shells
Feel the sensual sun warm the salty air
The universe is alive, sea gulls glide free

The sea is a great comfort to her
Flowing waves bring a sense of calm
She smiles and slowly walks on the sand

Is love a sea where the soul feels hope?
Drift wood washes a shore
Mystery, enchantment, romance,

She puts her feet into the cool water
Tides roll and splash her body
Renewal, revival, mystical gentle asylum

Blue green waves shimmer with light
ever changing boundless energy
Myth, pirates, discovery, mermaids

Shall I approach you? Who are you?
I sit in silent delight in awe
Are you a poem I like but do not understand?

Strangers in the sunlight and soft wind
Wondering about life, love and meaning
The great mystic sea unites us

The shoreline seems endless
Ships in the distance seem small
The sea is our friend, a lovely dream

Eternity in moments by the sea fill her eyes
Ancient visions visit open hearts and minds
We are quiet lovers listening to the ebbing tide

We are drawn to the sea to learn of love
We drink from Neptune's great cup
Serene wisdom teaches us peace

Shadows grow, the wind is starting to blow
Day turns to dusk and it is time to go
I will see you again my dear by the endless sea

Kings of Sleep

Pyres burning like Viking swords
Flashes in the sun of giants
Supple nipples that rule my fire
Deposition of turquoise legacy
Regal eagle wings spread golden
Green fire in the mystic forest
Bury the feathers and pain
Let the blue rain fall gentle
Weep for noble shamans
Children of the hunted
Sirens of the stars
Sundials raise ziggurats

She comes to me with centuries
My tongue laps the waters of Venus
Frozen years melted by golden showers
Rainbow words swell the clouds
The dead have traveled far
See the haunted rivers?
Streams of bloody tears
Mad sails scarred with law
Ships of religious sadists
Understanding travels by martyrs
Birth from the tenuous womb
Earth sighs in sullen winds

New moons rise gathering gnomes
Eaten by lions in the ravaged dream
She sings like savannah grass
Sycamores frosted with lust
Pour your jewels my love into stars
Empty the womb of ruby rings
Lavish the night with eyes of diamonds
Symbiotic chords of peyote
Wolves of eternal free joy
Light the pyre of red fable
Myths of dancing warriors
Paint your faces shadows rise

Ghost tribes ride the wild wind
The wedding of the sea and rivers
Fires along the trail of tears
Bury your heart at Wounded Knee
She is a princess from the kings
Winds blow in my fiery bed
Chimes cry like moaning desire
The abandoned hunt for homes
Feverish Saturn swirls like whips
The legions of braves hear the dream
Chiefs of all the tribes shine
Shed your skin like snakes

Revel amidst the kings of sleep

Caribbean Wind

She was the rose of sharon from paradise lost
From the city of seven hills near the place of the cross.
I was playing a show in miami in the theater of divine comedy.
Told about jesus, told about the rain,
She told me about the jungle where her brothers were slain
By a man who danced on the roof of the embassy.
Was she a child or a woman, I cant say which
From one to another she could to easily switch
We went into the wall to where the long arm of the law could not reach.
Could I been used and played as a pawn?
It certainly was possible as the gay night wore on
Where men bathed in perfume and celebrated free speech.
And them caribbean winds still blow from nassau to mexico
Fanning the flames in the furnace of desire
And them distant ships of liberty on them iron waves so bold and free,
Bringing everything thats near to me nearer to the fire.
She looked into my soul through the clothes that I wore
She said, we got a mutual friend over by the door,
And you know hes got our best interest in mind.
He was well connected but her heart was a snare
And she had left him to die in there,
There were payments due and he was a little behind.
The cry of the peacock, flies buzz my head,
Ceiling fan broken, theres a heat in my bed,
Street band playing nearer my God to thee.
We met at the steeple where the mission bells ring,
She said, I know what youre thinking, but there aint a thing
You can do about it, so let us just agree to agree.
And them caribbean winds still blow from nassau to mexico
Fanning the flames in the furnace of desire
And them distant ships of liberty on them iron waves so bold and free,
Bringing everything thats near to me nearer to the fire.
Atlantic city by the cold grey sea
I hear a voice crying, daddy, I always think its for me,
But its only the silence in the buttermilk hills that call.
Every new messenger brings evil report
bout armies on the march and time that is short
And famines and earthquakes and hatred written upon walls.
Would I have married her? I dont know, I suppose.
She had bells in her braids and they hung to her toes
But I kept hearing my name and I had to be movin on.
I saw screws break loose, saw the devil pound tin,
I saw a house in the country being torn from within.
I heard my ancestors calling from the land far beyond.
And them caribbean winds still blow from nassau to mexico
Fanning the flames in the furnace of desire
And them distant ships of liberty on them iron waves so bold and free,
Bringing everything thats near to me nearer to the fire.

Blue Gold Sky

Blue gold sky
Your fire is burning
Horizon questions why
Your evening is yearning
For a day that is soon gone
Into oblivion abyss
To carry the night on
In dreamy nocturnal kiss

All the blue gold is bound
Into your drifting clouds
Sunset of silver found
Among the streets and crowds
Love song of dusky distant
Where weaving dreams go
In to the nonexistent
Of ocean’s nightly glow

Blue gold sky
Yesterday is in your sight
When you come in sweet lullaby
In the falling off the eve light
Chariot of fire gold
Blue silver moon beyond
Nothing your dreams can hold
You are to stars whishes bond

Reality check, welcome partner

Dream! Dream! Dream!
Fly! Fly! Fly! into the blue, blue, blue skies

Then you tire your wings of dreams your wings that fly and fly into the blue skies
Then you rest and pause and fall to this rugged land

It is rough and rocky and graveled and sandy
It is hot and arid hurting your eyes your legs your feet

What you see and feel is reality
And you do not have wings now
All your dreams did not come true

In this reality, I welcome you partner.

Anne Brontë

The Student's Serenade

I have slept upon my couch,
But my spirit did not rest,
For the labours of the day
Yet my weary soul opprest;
And, before my dreaming eyes
Still the learned volumes lay,
And I could not close their leaves,
And I could not turn away.

But I oped my eyes at last,
And I heard a muffled sound;
'Twas the night-breeze, come to say
That the snow was on the ground.

Then I knew that there was rest
On the mountain's bosom free;
So I left my fevered couch,
And I flew to waken thee!

I have flown to waken thee
For, if thou wilt not arise,
Then my soul can drink no peace
From these holy moonlight skies.

And, this waste of virgin snow
To my sight will not be fair,
Unless thou wilt smiling come,
Love, to wander with me there.

Then, awake! Maria, wake!
For, if thou couldst only know
How the quiet moonlight sleeps
On this wilderness of snow,

And the groves of ancient trees,
In their snowy garb arrayed,
Till they stretch into the gloom
Of the distant valley's shade;

I know thou wouldst rejoice
To inhale this bracing air;
Thou wouldst break thy sweetest sleep
To behold a scene so fair.

O'er these wintry wilds, alone,
Thou wouldst joy to wander free;
And it will not please thee less,
Though that bliss be shared with me.

Ghosts Of The Full Moon

Every moonbeam radiates joy
Sycamore trees in shadows of the sea
Savannah grass in green waves
Mystic winds blow the ancient souls
Let the fingers of night caress
Let the feelings sigh like a shaman
See the buffalo graze under the stars
Naked stars that pry memories
Stars of the future birth
Angel night where awe sails on time

We are temples
We are spiritual
We are part of the ghost world
Pearls of emerald waves
Seagulls fly like sailors souls

Onyx moon of silver ancestry
Valley of Kidron and golden tombs
Dreams walk the hallowed corridors
Touch the sacred wells deep in the sky
Irish fields green with souls
Ghosts of the Great Barrier Reef
Eyes like wandering lions
Buried inside the Great Wall of China
Castles along the Seines
Ships rise in the galaxies

Have you felt the shivers of the moors?
The ancient ones of the full moon
Villages appear in hallways of sleep
Words from the winds of love
Flaming swords with two edges
Gates where living waters flow
Caravans of stars
Desert visions
Black Sea silk
Her ecstasy is in a room of mirrors

Michael Angelo’s bust emanates
Rembrandt in the silent museum
Raphael grounded in sanity
Yellow lamp of ancient quills
Whale oil sires the ancient graves
Icy waves of the mariners vault
Stairways in a New Orleans house
Night as quiet as fear
Have your felt the river of night?
Have you seen green eyes stare?
Lovers feel a stranger in their bed
Do you believe in vampires? I do
Van Gogh was haunted

Soon you will hover
Soon we will be the night
Islands of Jules Verne
Opium dens of Calcutta
Tibetan monks chant
Impudent vengeance never sleeps
Sword of Spartacus revels in anger
Magnolia slaves of the plantations lair
Red eyes, keep a night light on
Avenues of Hades belladonna
Byron dressed in black velvet
Jim Morrison at a séance
Edgar Allen Poe knew the night

Indigo trees in the wind
Mango ghosts
The Nile where cobra’s laugh
Brazilian rosewood dreams
Spanish ghosts of Mediterranean blood
Tireless Volga a sage of time
Ethereal eyes like a slaughter
Tribes are wandering the silt fields
Mountains ghosts
Celtic rivers of the vivid mind
Can you feel their candles?
The wings of night flutter
Shadows merge breathing constellations
The wind blows the curtain lace
They gather in costumes under moonlight

Blue Planet

Words of life last longer than diamonds
Byron writes with rivers of moonlight
His quill flashes through the centuries
Soul beyond the grave like distant stars

Everything glows tonight beyond sorrow
This moment contains the eternal past
Sown in time and raised immortal
The Moon of earth like topaz children

Planets of turquoise visitors tell the future
Born of a million fires of jubilant change
Orion's belt will lay down with the Lion
Man became a living soul created free

How glorious is the golden circle
Infinite love waits behind all discovery
Vast eternity in a moments awakening
Go out and look beyond the Vail

Tonight is a fine night for visitations
Doors of perception wait for open minds
Blake has visions deeper than rubies
The Shepard walks the stars tonight

The sea fills with living midnight stars
We travel in and out of mystic time
High blue dreams sail beyond the walls
Everything is washed in eternal silence
Light shines on a distant blue planet

Your Gold Dress

You gold dress is whirling around
Like a fan its lifting you high
High above the ground
Never coming down
You gold dress is burning alight
Deafens me with the sound of the sun
Setting fire to the night
And everythings all right
Vibrations coming my way
When youre floating on by
In your gold dress
Vibrations coming to play
When youre filling the sky
With your gold ... dress
Your gold dress is shaming the stars
A thousand melting dali guitars
Make no sound
And dripping slowly down
Your gold dress is all I can see
Blind my eyes but there it will be
Beacon burning bright
And everythings all right
Your gold dress!

Ring the bells of Poe
All of them

Seamless sky of eternal soul

Crimson ruby red streams
Rivers that cry now laugh

Inward eyes of ancient future
Jewels of a sea of glass
The mirror of joy and sorrow
Soul of the past tomorrows

High cliffs overlook the sea
Who can see eternity?
Deep in the land of light

Chained in mortal atrophy
Can you hear the flowers sing?
Someday soon I'll sing with you

Freedom's Bond

It's your dream come true
You are free, free to be, free to breathe
Free to see, what do you see?
What do you be?
Freedom's price, bondage's ice
You have a dream?
Chase it till it becomes your reality
Spread your wings
Soar around the rings
Of Saturn's infinity
How do you feel?
Do your wings feel weak?
Or do you feel like one of the gods of the Greeks?
One day at a time you took
One feet at a time you looked
Six feet, six inches above all
Success, the greatness before the fall
It's lonely at the top I heard
How many eagles shave your beard?
It's your dream come true
Does pride blind you or bonds you as his bride
Till all the lowly bound you chide
And your glorious tears you hide
And your darkest fears in you confide
Can anyone else come through?
Reach you, teach you, feel you? ...
Free you?
You.
Bound for the skies.
Bound.
Free for the stars.
Freedom. Greatness. Success. Freedom.
Do the winds fade your wings?
Do you just dream of sitting
Do you just wish for a sound.
Sound.
The chickens call it laughter.
How does it feel?
Happy ever after
Or take me before after?
You were great before anyone screamed your name
You were great before the fame
You were great, before the game
Six feet at a time, six under in no time
The hurricane washed that beach
And those two people away
One day at a time, each day is a dream come true
No matter what happens in it
One day at a time
One day and no time
No time and no you
Free your mind and be you
For in no time, there will be no you.

Golden rocknroll man
Breaking all of the records and rules
Sold out in an hour
The stage is your own bedroom
I have your poster close to my bed
Earphones glued to my head
But Id rather have you in my arms instead
And Id be better than I was before
If only I had you
If only I had

If only I knew you

I want to be near you
Stardust
There I got to meet you
And your gold glitter fell all over me
Then I shook your hand
Took some of your lustre
I told my friends that you were just a man
Real nice, not tough
None of that phony star stuff
And Im better than I was before
Because I have you
Because I have
