Spectral Megapole - 1267 - Parody Spectra Witter Bynner
Millipede megapole:
each cubic foot is filled,
with footfalls, landfalls, whole
and parts together milled
until, fulfilled their role,
all pitfalls will be stilled.

The Parts In Relation To The Whole
the parts in relation to the whole are hard to muster
i get lost somehow
confused on this seemingly unrelated part to another part
like seeing the legs of this millipede
when it would have been easier to think of it
as a worm,
i remember being lost in a forest of trees
wild growing trees where i can no longer figure out the shape
of a single leaf
because it is too dark
and damp
too many little things, too many details, that hinder us
from grasping the wholeness of
things
and people and daily events,
i get tired of all these, parts and parts and parts and some more
miniatures of parts, a letter to the word,
speaking in cut phrases
how can i ever understand this and that?
show me the whole
be whole to me as i am whole to you
touch the parts later
relate it always to me
this love is whole, it was never meant to be chopped
like some garlic and onions
this love is an apple that you see and pick from the tree
take it first
in its appleness, then start to bite
every part is sweet, every part is me,
this love
this me, this whole world is me
it must be first to you
then love becomes us.

To A Cricket
Voice of summer, keen and shrill,
Chirping round my winter fire,
Of thy song I never tire,
Weary others as they will,
For thy song with summer's filled -
Filled with sunshine, filled with June;
Firelight echo of that noon
Heard in fields when all is stilled
In the golden light of May,
Bringing scents of new-mown hay,
Bees, and birds, and flowers away,
Prithee, haunt my fireside still,
Voice of summer, keen and shrill.

Pity and mercy
Pity has no role to play
Where no one is made poor.
Mercy has no role to play
Where no one is made weak.
No one aspires for uniformity.

Merlin to Mermaid - Acrostic Sonnet
Merlin, magician, foresight filled,
Extending sight beyond the seas
Reigns saw which rose to heights that tease
Low saw them sink, their promise stilled.
Is this life’s prophecy fulfilled
None should contest though soon veins freeze?
Time is too short, and stiff the fees
Offered, taken, - ambitions killed.
Mermaid made blood melt, then chilled
Enthusiastic energies
Removed all barriers to please
Mind, body, soul, seduction skilled.
Across life’s net thoughts intertwine
IDeas, identities, combine...

All of us, whether or not we are warriors, have a cubic centimeter of chance that pops out in front of our eyes from time to time. The difference between an average man and a warrior is that the warrior is aware of this, and one of his tasks is to be alert, deliberately waiting, so that when his cubic centimeter pops out he has the necessary speed, the prowess, to pick it up.

One Day In June
One day in June
I slipped away
Caught by desire
Drawn to the flame
My virtues disappeared
Light on my feet
Whispers as sweet as honey
Callin' to me
One day in June
One day in June
I felt the hunger
I ate the fruit
One day in June
So don't cry for me
I had my chance
I took a risk
I asked the wind to dance
Don't try to save me
I'm already gone
Everything's over
But I'm burning on
One day in June
One day in June
I felt the hunger
I ate the fruit
One day in June
And I don't like how it feels
To tell all these little lies
Tryin' to be the one you can count on
But all it's a thin disguise
I kissed it all goodbye
One day in June

Open Me Up
Open me up on June,
Summer is a surgeon.
The roots of my herb are
Inside the body then.
My secret is safe so,
As my feet and mouth rise
Into heavenly grace
Or should I be enough?
June was electrical,
Lively, ordinary,
Bones and body parts shown.
I love being missed all.
I just hate being it.

It's not something that I have ever aspired to be or courted because I think the second that you say, "Oh, I am a role model and that's why I make the decisions that I make," you've kind of shot yourself in the foot. A role model is somebody that does things because of what they believe in regardless of what other people think.

If Not For June
If not for June,
My memories of Winter in December...
With a wish to witness,
The freshness of Spring March would bring...
Would not still remain so vivid.
As if only yesterday visited.
If not for June.
If not for June,
My eyesight would not be teased...
By the freedom felt in Summer,
With hopes that linger of those things I could do,
Under clear skies showing bright Sun.
And seeing the fun shared by nearly everyone,
If not for June.
And if not for June I would not be able to reminisce,
From so many experiences I could pick.
June seems to be the month I can do this.
With a thankfulness I am still in the midst,
Of a year that appears to have just begun.
With so much left to offer before it is done.
And for me this happens only when June comes.

Juno Gave the Summer
A sun for hearts – tempered rhythm in her flares;
The naked tan – bikini line a cry for stares;
Gregarious green, beguiled by colours en rapport –
The park’s alive! So what’s to hanker after more?
Children scream while parents dream their fantasies,
Igniting under brilliance –
They think they share resilience to the
Ultraviolet hues;
To lie displayed au naturel
Is what they’d rather choose!
And Helios peers at lovers in their
Heady worlds: vibrant leas to
Roam in hand; calming seas –
Satin sand insensible as
Water runs her ripples cross the
Shore – so like the park, it really
Cries for very little more!
In the garden, roses clamber for attention –
Pouting blooms, wafting scent –
Our floral monarch June’s event!
And fingers green receive the praise
From toiling hard for coloured blaze.
Compelled, I walk the countenance of sunny June
As Mother Nature danced amok in her saloon
Of roaring life, that came of youth in early spring
And nurtured in maternal warmth beneath her wing.
Eyes bedewed, I mellow in a reverie
– Hope renewed –
As Juno saw to suckle me with
Quintessential summer.

June Bug
They call me a June Bug, But I don't come in June
They really should call me a May Bug
I fly all night looking for a light
A little romance and then love
I'm the June Bug of another's dream
Yeah, I'm the one that's on your screen
I'm the one that comes in the hundreds
The one you step over with your feet
I'm a June Bug, A June Bug
I'm roly poly round
Looking for love, Yeah, looking for love
And I know it's flying around
I spend seven years in that ground
And all I ever am is a Grub
Of course when I climb out of that hole
I wanna find me a little bug love
You want to see my buddies?
Well, just keep that light burning bright
We will come in the thousands
And visit you all night
We come up from the ground
At night we can be found
We visit you in the month of May
And all night we hang around
You want to know just why
We don't move when you come outside?
Well, that's because a Bug named Fred
Told us all to pretend we died
We come up from the ground
All we want is a little Bug love
But I tell you that ain't easy
Sometimes it's just real tough
I saw Sam the Bug the other day
Flying straight for a big head light
I guess he liked it quite a lot
Because he is still there and bright
Poor Arnold the Bug, Well, I don't know
He is stuck on someone's shoe
We tried to tell him but he had listened to Fred
That Bug just wouldn't move
You think you've got troubles
Well, let me just tell you
You don't know the half of it
Til a shoe comes down on you
All we want is a little love
A little bit of that Bug love stuff
Although we come in the month of May
They call me a June Bug
A June Bug, A June Bug
I'm roly poly round
Looking for love, Yeah, looking for love
And I know it's flying around!

the Self
the self is a mountain
you can go exploring
some parts are not reachable
and some parts so riveting
you just wish to sing them songs
some parts are caves you can shout
and hear your own echoes
some parts are a make belief
haunted house you can frighten yourself with
some parts are chambers of
mysteries you can get lost on your own

My Mom
Mom you are my inspiration
Nobody is like you in this world
You are my god
You gave me this world to survive
If you are not here
Then how would I have enjoyed the life
You the first teacher
To teach me about manners
Whenever I fall you support me like a ladder
You only gave me breath
You only gave me heart
You gave me all my body parts
You are like a sun
Always giving me ray of hope in the darkness
Mom your heart is like ocean full of emotions
Always take care about other
But never bothered about your own self
Mom for me you are like an Oscar winner
Plays different role in single life
The role of daughter the role of wife

If You But Want Me Too
If you but want me too
I will shelter you...
If you but desire me too
I shall lie alongside you...
You can stir beside me!
And I shall be aroused beside you!
If it's but within your soul
If it's but too within my heart
I'll stumble on your love in the dark
I'll unearth its ebony residence
And together we'll turn that key
And open the loneliest parts of you
In the most isolated parts of me.
And together in our hearts
We'll reside like the sun and rain
Like fire and ice
Like oil and water
But in a complementary role
Like night and day
Like Adam and Eve
You will be the truest measurement
The truest part of me as only
Opposites can be.

Trust to the fate.
Yes, no one could you trust in absolute,
Nor could you afford to mistrust either.
Cheats and patrons are parts of occurrence.
It is fate that would lead you to a state.

Jogger
Being chased by a ghost, the roots of his teeth
break with impact, joints tied together with string,
corpus filled with compressed breath.
He gasps stones, grit and smoke, an air maschine,
a wet, strained mask, the bottom of his lungs filled with silver.
His heart shakes like a shocked bird.
It is as if all things in the park have been stilled,
left and right, one and two, all under the grey
now out in bad standing.

Fulfilment
I sing of starry dreams come true,
Of hopes fulfilled;
Of rich reward beyond my due,
Of harvest milled.
The full fruition of the years
Is mine to hold,
And in despite of toil and tears
The sun is gold.
I have no hate for any one
On this good earth;
My days of hardihood are done,
And hushed my hearth.
No echo of a world afar
Can trouble me;
Above a grove the evening star
Serene I see.
No jealousy nor passion base
Can irk me now;
Recieved am I unto God's grace
With tranquil brow.
Adieu to love I have and hold,
Farewell to friend;
In peace and faith my hands I fold
And wait the end.
