Sky reflected from her mouth

The waves kneaded the beach like fingers
on flesh, like shadow on light.
Sands pulled at until drowned.
The clouds like tattered sailers curse and throw earings
to the swelling sea
Stars, the orange cream swirls, jocund breeze, horizon undone.
and it all reflects from your mouth: and in it I'm lost then found then lost again.
pearls of teeth, sweet jellyfish tongue, cavernous ribs of eternity.

Lost To Your Love

When we first met, I was lost
Lost in the deep moonlight ocean
That I found in his eyes

When we first met, I was lost
Lost in the pale pink rose
That I found resting upon his cheek

When we first met, I was lost
Lost in the light brown bark of a tree
That I found on his skin

When we first met, I was lost
Lost in the pearls
That I found just underneath those perfect lips
When he left, I was lost
Lost in a whole new way

No more deep blue eyes
No more pink roses
No more perfect pearls

And when he left, I was lost
Lost in the sorrow
That I found in my heart

Out Of The Depths

Lost! Lost! Lost!
The cry went up from a sea --
The waves were wild with an awful wrath,
Not a light shone down on the lone ship's path;
The clouds hung low:
Lost! Lost! Lost!
Rose wild from the hearts of the tempest-tossed.

Lost! Lost! Lost!
The cry floated over the waves --
Far over the pitiless waves;
It smote on the dark and it rended the clouds;
The billows below them were weaving white shrouds
Out of the foam of the surge,
And the wind-voices chanted a dirge:
Lost! Lost! Lost!
Wailed wilder the lips of the tempest-tossed.

Lost! Lost! Lost!
Not the sign of a hope was nigh,
In the sea, in the air, or the sky;
And the lifted faces were wan and white,
There was nothing without them but storm and night
And nothing within but fear.
But far to a Father's ear:
Lost! Lost! Lost!
Floated the wail of the tempest-tossed.

Lost! Lost! Lost!
Out of the depths of the sea --
Out of the night and the sea;
And the waves and the winds of the storm were hushed,
And the sky with the gleams of the stars was flushed.
Saved! Saved! Saved!
And a calm and a joyous cry
Floated up through the starry sky,
In the dark -- in the storm -- 'Our Father' is nigh.

O Cruel Sea!

No more will I go near the sea!
No more will I stand on a beach;
No more will I live near a shore;
The sea no more looks lovely!

No more will I play on its sands;
No more will I bask in its sun;
No more will I watch ships and boats;
The sea has lost its glory!

No more will I walk on the shore;
No more will I build sand-castles;
No more will I eat sea-fish foods;
The sea has lost its beauty!

No more will I go over-seas;
No more will I adore the waves;
No more will I yearn for the sea;
The sea has lost its sanctity!

No more will I deep-dive for pearls;
No more will I collect sea-shells;
No more will I dream of Blue Sea;
The sea’s a Mass-Grave, watery!

Ships Passing In Night Born

ships are sailing upon turn tide flowing river waters
light is dance happy mellow yellows closing long day
soon sunset will add flame reds fingers yellow gold
sun sets sinks into still sea upon horizon home shores
dust light fades shadows creep in stealth murky images
suddenly black dawns night deep darkness speaks in glory

starlight sparkles upon enchanted waters river ebbs flows
passage across bar out into ocean waves rocks emotions
soon short journeys made upon ocean waters salts senses
watch shoreline beach grey sands invisible stretch wet away
waters dark painted ocean oil black sparkles in flow waves
beach sands perfume night with residue heat breeze vapours

Wish You Were With Me

There at the horizon now
The sun is meeting the sea.
The radiant sky is painted
With splashes of yellow and red;
It seems, the warmth of love
Just came off the water bed.
Wish you were with me!

Touching the wings of one another
The skeins of geese fly.
Do not know, where are they heading to
Is it a place unknown or a home nearby?
From a distance, I watch the magical moves
Where the feelings of love are running high.
Wish you were with me!

The shadow of loneliness is getting longer
And so is the darkness on the beach.
The waxing crescent moon appears brighter,
As she finds the stars within reach.
Behind the moving clouds, she glows!
While she plays with the dear one,
I watch the love flow...
Wish you were with me!

While I sit on the sand,
My unraveled fingers
Long to touch your hand.
In an emptiness
My heart is about to cry
With the pain within, swelling like waves,
Oh dear, my yearning soul here quietly lies.

Not A Dream!

Yes, I remembered that I had pestered you,
To catch and give me the stars of the sky,
What stars are these in my trembling head
twinkle with smile, when you touch me in love,
You are right; you still remember the day,
I knelt in front of you holding your slender hand,
Looking into your eyes, those two shining diamonds,
Pearls of teeth just perfectly set in your bounty mouth,
The pure gold from the goldsmith not shine,
As glittering as the shoulders that exposed,
What have you to make me drowned in sea of pleasure?
What have you to make me fly in the stormy pressure?
What have you to make me to think the storm as the breeze?
What have you to force me to bring those stars for you?

Pictures Of A City

Concrete cold face cased in steel
Stark sharp glass-eyed crack and peel
Bright light scream beam brake and squeal
Red white green white neon wheel.
Dream flesh love chase perfumed skin
Greased hand teeth hide tinseled sin
Spice ice dance chance sickly grin
Pasteboard time slot sweat and spin.
Blind stick blind drunk cannot see
Mouth dry tongue tied cannot speak
Concrete dream flesh broken shell
Lost soul lost trace lost in hell.

Lost all the way,

Lost all the way,
Lost all the way,
That they believe,
You must believe me,
That they were percolating,
These enemies wanna see me gone,
But not for eternity that they lost,

Lost all the way,
They were not found,
They were not that Stars that I never believed,
Believe me,
That you are the snitch,
You are that fool that is a Jack,
You are that man that is never writing new ideas,
You are that man,
Lost all the way,
You must never be knowing this is me,
But you are that man,
Keep em waiting,
But I see that you never gave you what you demanded.

People Who Live

People who live by the sea
understand eternity.
They copy the curves of the waves,
their hearts beat with the tides,
& the saltiness of their blood
corresponds with the sea.

They know that the house of flesh
is only a sandcastle
built on the shore,
that skin breaks
under the waves
like sand under the soles
of the first walker on the beach
when the tide recedes.

Each of us walks there once,
watching the bubbles
rise up through the sand
like ascending souls,
tracing the line of the foam,
drawing our index fingers
along the horizon
pointing home.

I Am The Beach...

As we walked along the beach, crashing waves
thundered in our ears and a light, salted mist,
dampened our lips.

The sun began to set and the voice of the beach,
traveled across the ocean waves.

'I am the beach, and here you shall find peace.
I am the beach, here you shall find love.

In this domain, my beach, the answers you
search for, could very well be found here.
For at this beach, there is much,
that has been revealed.

The sparkled, white grains of sand, that blanket
this beach, has been a bed of comfort, to many.

Pause, as you come upon this beach, and listen
to the symphony of waves and the chorus of
birds, singing their song, as they glide in the wind.

Feel the power of this beach, as it seems to
renew your inner being. You need not question
the beach and its mystical powers. For as
millions before you have found, the beach...
and its magical transference to one...have
existed, since the beginning of time.

Be not troubled, for the beach is close at
hand. You need only to deliver your strife,
to the tranquility of the beach and it shall
be exercised from you.

When you go from this beach...leave with
the peace that you have found here.'

Over the Horizon

Summer is a coming
and it brings the shining sun
The glistening water
girls in bikinis
and a masculine brown tan
but also it brings a pain
For I lost someone that fateful summer
Over the horizon
He was starved of life

One summer I fled
Fled, from the beach house
deep in the night
out for a midnight swim
the dark ocean
the silent breeze
and the surprise crashing of waves
But it also brings pain
For I lost my life that fateful summer
Over the horizon
I was starved of life

Sun's Last Grace

the blazing sun's lost in its own shine
the clouds encode each of the rays,
cotton waves of scarlet, red, orange
the last signature of the sun before
its exit from the realm of day

a sea continuously sends its
audacious smile from the horizon
a shimmering gaeity of the heart
amid miles of goodbye pounded
so loudly over the seas and so
splendidly played out over the sky
two lovers panting, hugging, kissing,
looking into each other like no light
can part them

Shadow

I am a shadow;
I dance in rhythm with the changing of the seasons.
As the rain falls, I weep.
I become sky lightening as a storm approaches.
I fight with thunder in an approaching squall.
I rage war with the fury of the wind-
With the locusts, I scream.
The creek’s water rushes over its banks, and
As torrential rains inundate its surface,
I am the shadow that is reflected in the pond, into where the
Creek empties, then sighs- as the
Storm subsides.
I am that shadow, motionless, but angry.
I am a shadow lost in the wild-
I follow the deer-
They do not fear me-
I am silent and cautious but wrathful.
No one can envision the flame that sears my soul- as
My rage smolders.
My shadow is the inner child living within me that
Plays a game with the brushfire that blazes in the forest,
That shadow that blends with the darkness as the
Sun sets, and with the rising of the moon,
I am its shadow that reappears, coming into its power.
I chant with the rustling of the trees and the singing of the nightingale, as the
Late summer’s breeze carries me.
I glance with grace and dignity at the treetops,
Lost and confused, I am searching for life’s meaning,
A home for myself, and an escape from reality-
I am the shadow of my dreams,
I have no future in this world;
I am only a shadow,
Lost in the woodlands,
Blending with the trees, and fading into the night-
As shy as the deer, but invisible-
I scream with the locusts,
I dance,
I chant.
Invisible to this world, here I am powerless and fearful, though as
I disappear into the horizon,
Hidden inside a mountain of clouds, I return to my power.
I have found here another place in time where
No one can harm me.
I am my own person, strong, brave and angry-
Lost somewhere in these clouds,
I have found a safe haven.
I dissolve into nothingness, and follow my dreams.
Whether it be in a dream or in reality,
I shall be found and never lost.
There will always be shadows dancing with the rhythm of the
Changing of time…

Lost In The Stars

(kurt weill/maxwell anderson)
Before lord God made the sea and the land
He held all the stars in the palm of his hand
And they ran through his fingers like grains of sand
And one little star fall alone
Then the lord God hunted through the wild night air
For the little dark star in the wind down there
And he stated and promised hed take special care
So it wouldnt get lost again
Now, man dont mind if the stars grow dim
And the clouds blow over and darken him
So long as the lord gods watching over him
Keeping track how it all goes on
But Ive been walking through the night and the day
Till my eyes get weary and my hair turns grey
And sometimes it seems maybe gods gone away
Forgetting the promise that we heard him say
And were lost out here in the stars
Little stars, big stars
Blowing through the night
And were lost out here in the stars
Little stars, big stars
Blowing through the night
And were lost out here in the stars

The State Of Non-meaning

so many sands
long term plans
so many grains of sands
on the beach on the mind of man
oh, i guess
so many poems composed
each poem has become a grain of sands
so many grains
from my mouth
to my hands to my feet to the beach to the sands of time
in search for meaning
when actually there is none.

A Warning

the sea knows how to dream
and dream
it will
still dream about a jellyfish
a flesh
of a jelly fish, and it will sleep and think
about this dream of more flesh
and sting
and fling
its salt like the tentacles of the jellyfish
to the fish
and the sea urchins

and starfish begin their journey to the shores
where desire stops but does not end

i am the sea and i dream about her tentacles
her flesh
and the pain
in my skin

the needles of the urchin
and the hardness of the starfish and the shore
where i lay

to desires that do not end
to loves lost to wishes that it may regain again

sea dreams sea pains sea urchins
the boat on fire and the captain drowning

Celestial Coming

I held on tight to the clouds

last night, when

your mouth embraced my mouth

each breath adored my soul.

I felt calmness in autumn

last night, when

your eyes sought

mourned each falling leaf.

Shadow and light pressed limb after limb, wind

shuddered waves

the floating galaxy last night in

your force.

Last night, eternity

was mine lain

on hiding rainbows,

I moaned my greatest fright, I

cried my sweetest blink, when

you tucked the stars, last night

into

my womb.
