A Tribute Fits for a Great King
Bring the drums, the flute and the trombone.
Bring the clarinet, the guitars and the saxophone,
So we can honor the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Junior,
Who was the King of the Civil Rights Movement. No one can ignore
His sacrifices for mankind and his dedications
To world’s peace and justice. His contributions
To our world are enormous. Dr. King is still a beacon of hope,
A man who did not believe in giving up. He was the Pope
Who espoused humanity, decency and love for all.
He was not a tall man, however, he dreamt BIG not small.
Dr. King was a giant in every meaning of the word.
He was not a violent man, but his tongue was a powerful sword,
Who pierced the rhinoceros skin of racism and injustice.
Today, I feel blessed to write about this man of peace and justice,
This gentleman of tolerance and love, and this brother,
Who never ceased to inspire me, especially in my darkest hours.
Bring the children, the elders and the crippled to honor
The King of hope and perseverance. Bring the flowers of all colors,
To celebrate his insurmountable tasks and great accomplishments.
Come to shower such an icon with endearing compliments.
Bring the drums, the tuba and the trombone.
Bring the clarinet, the banjos and the saxophone,
So we can honor the King and his disciples,
Who challenged the status quo, and who won with flying colors.
Let’s have a ticker-tape parade; come and read the articles
Of the struggle. Bring the confetti, bring the flowers
To thank all brave men and women who marched peacefully
At his side. Dr. King’s legacy will live eternally,
And his dream of equality will never die.
Ring the bells. Let’s sing, let’s chant and cry
Out loud to wish Our Brother a HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
And let’s continue to hope and to pray for a better day.

L'Ancien Regime
Who has a thing to bring
For a gift to our lord the king,
Our king all kings above?
A young girl brought him love;
And he dowered her with shame,
With a sort of infamous fame,
And then with lonely years
Of penance and bitter tears --
Love is scarcely the thing
To bring as a gift for our king.
Who has a thing to bring
For a gift to our lord the king?
A statesman brought him planned
Justice for all the land;
And he in recompense got
Fierce struggle with brigue and plot,
Then a fall from lofty place
Into exile and disgrace --
Justice is never the thing
To bring as a gift for our king.
Who has a thing to bring
For a gift to our lord the king?
A writer brought him truth;
And first he imprisoned the youth,
And then he bestowed a free pyre
That the works might have plenty of fire,
And also to cure the pain
Of the headache called thought in the brain --
Truth is a very bad thing
To bring as a gift for our king.
Who has a thing to bring
For a gift to our lord the king?
The people brought their sure
Loyalty fervid and pure;
And he gave them bountiful spoil
Of taxes and hunger and toil,
Ignorance, brutish plight,
And wholesale slaughter in fight --
Loyalty's quite the worst thing
To bring as a gift for our king.
Who has a thing to bring
For a gift to our lord the king?
A courtier brought to his feet
Servility graceful and sweet,
With an ever ready smile
And an ever supple guile;
And he got in reward the place
Of the statesman in disgrace --
Servility's always a thing
To bring as a gift for our king.
Who has a thing to bring
For a gift to our lord the king?
A soldier brought him war,
La gloire, la victoire,
Ravage and carnage and groans,
For the pious Te Deum tones;
And he got in return for himself
Rank and honors and pelf --
War is a very fine thing
To bring as a gift for our king.
Who has a thing to bring
For a gift to our lord the king?
A harlot brought him her flesh,
Her lusts, and the manifold mesh
Of her wiles intervolved with caprice;
And he gave her his realm to fleece,
To corrupt, to ruin, and gave
Himself for her toy and her slave
Harlotry's just the thing
To bring as a gift for our king.
Who has a thing to bring
For a gift to our lord the king,
Our king who fears to die?
A priest brought him a lie,
The blackness of hell uprolled
In heaven's shining gold;
And he got as guerdon for that
A see and a cardinal's hat --
A lie is an excellent thing
To bring as a gift for our king.
Has any one yet a thing
For a gift to our lord the king?
The country gave him a tomb,
A magnificent sleeping-room;
And for this it obtained some rest,
Clear riddance of many a pest,
And a hope which it much enjoyed
That the throne would continue void --
A tomb is the very best thing
For a gift to our lord the king.

What Child Is This
What child is this
that lay to rest
on Mary's lap is sleeping
Whom Angels greet with anthem sweet
and shepard's watch are keeping
This , this is Christ the King
Whom shepards guard
and Angels sing
Haste, haste to bring him love
The babe, the son of Mary
So bring him incence, gold and merth
Come peasants king to honor him
The King of Kings salvation brings
and loving arms enthrone him

Man of Hope
and Eloquence
Painting
Visions that
we almost lost
Like King did -
O Yes, We Can
A Dream of all Times
A Dream of all Men
Hope
Change
Simple words
in a New mix
of Africa
and America
Man of Hope
Be the change
that you bring
'I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.'

Hope against hope
Hope against all hope
That times will change
A word lingers
In time and place
Softly spoken
Memories bring joy
Memories bring tears
Hope against hope
That love will grow
From the embers
A single spark
Lights the fire again
Memories bring joy
Memories bring tears
Hope against hope
Time will soften
A hardened heart
A fractured mind
Bring peace to soul
Memories bring joy
Memories bring tears
Hope against hope
That this is a dream
I will wake soon
Covered in sweat
Breathing once again
Memories bring joy
Memories bring tears
Hope against hope
That tomorrow is different
Today didn't happen
But it did
Can't change today
Memories bring tears

Peace and Justice On Behalf Of Dr. M.L.King
(This poem is dedicated to the dreams of Martin Luther King Jr.)
We want Peace and Justice
We are not asking for too much
We do not want to go too far to search
We want Peace and Justice
For the wrongly convicted
And for the illegally executed
Let the bells of freedom ring
From Paris to Washington
From Bangkok to Beijing
From Sudan to Hong Kong
From Iran to Pakistan
From China to Nigeria
From Haiti to Afghanistan
From Holland to India
From Israel to Canada
From Trinidad to Iceland
From Germany to South Africa
From Egypt to New Zealand
Let the thunders bring the gifts of Liberty
To every country in the universe
We were born to live in peace and harmony
The human mind is creative and diverse
Let's use our imagination to make life better for all
Let’s learn to be just and proud, and to walk tall
Corruption can only destroy; injustice can only rot the pot
Theft can only bring hell and greed is like an insatiable rat
Who will not stop until there is no more in the container
Let’s dream bigger and consistently help each other
We want Peace and Justice
For the demonstrators who are fighting for their alienable rights
We want Peace and Justice
At the end of the tunnel, we want to be able to see glorious lights
That can bring hope and stability throughout the continents
We want the perpetrators, the kidnappers and the criminal elements
To be punished in accordance to the laws of nature
We want the Courts to be fair and impartial
The dictators who stole the people’s money must be brought to trial
Their cronies and their henchmen who robbed our future
Must pay the consequences of their misdeeds
We don’t want violence
We don’t want silence
We want common sense to prevail all the time
We want a world free of crime
We want Peace and Justice for all
We want to eliminate the bad seeds
We want Peace and Justice for all.

What Child Is This?
What child is this, who laid to rest
on Mary's lap is sleeping?
whom angels greet with anthems sweet
while shepherds watch are keeping?
This, this is Christ the King
whom shepherds guard and angels sing
haste, haste to bring him laud
the babe, the son of Mary
Why lies He in such mean state
where ox and and ass are feeding?
good christian, fear for sinners here
the silent word is pleading
this, this is Christ the King
whom shepherds guard and angels sing
haste, haste to bring him laud
the babe, the son of Mary
Nails, spear, shall, pierce him through
the cross be bome, for me, for you
hail, hail, the world made flesh
the babe, the son of Mary
this, this is Christ the King
whom shepherds guard and angels sing
haste, haste to bring him laud
the babe, the son of Mary
So bring him incense, gold and myrrh
come peasant, King to own him
the King of Kings salvation brings
let loving hearts enthrone him
this, this is Christ the King
whom shepherds guard and angels sing
haste, haste to bring him laud
the babe, the son of Mary
Raise, raise, the song on high
the Virgin sings her llullaby
joy, joy for Christ is born
the babe, the son of Mary
this, this is Christ the King
whom shepherds guard and angels sing
haste, haste to bring him laud
the babe, the son of Mary

One of the greatest men to ever walk this land was Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His life exemplified unity by bringing people together for the good of all. In any small way I hope to someday bring people together like Dr. King.
Bring em All In
Bring em all in, bringem all in, bring em all in,
Bring em all in, bring em all into my heart
Bring em all in, bring em all in, bring em all in
Bring em all in, bring em all into my heart
Bring the little fishes
Bring the sharks
Bring em from the brightness
Bring em from the dark
Bring em from the caverns
Bring em from the heights
Bring em from the shadows
Stand em in the light
Bring em out of purdah
Bring em out of store
Bring em out of hiding
Lay them at my door
Bring the unforgiven

Bring on the kingsize charade
I can't seem to be foreign to your ways
You're my little fab one
You're the only one that smiles
It hurts to fight with lies that bend my mind
King! king! king!
Bring on the trumpet brigade
Be more than my twenty miles away
You're my little fab one
You're the only one that smiles
How come memories always slip away?

Lamb Of God
Spoken:
After jesus was born in bethlehem in judea
During the time of king herod
Wise men from de east came to jerusalem and asked
Where is the one who is born king of the jews?
We saw his star in the east and we have come to worship him
Lord we have traveled far
Torn and weary guided by your star
There before us the living king
Halleluiah his praises sing
Herod with a evil plan
Kill the babies
Came his bold command
He tried to alter gods holy plan
God has saved him
The son of man
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The chosen one of god
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of love
The chosen one of god
Three kings from a distance come
Bearing gifts for the only one
Shout to heaven sound the drum
Tell the nations
The lord has come
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The chosen one of god
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of love
The chosen one of god
He came to bring us his peace
He came to bring us his joy
To bring us love
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The chosen one of god
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The precious lamb of god
Behold the lamb of god
The mighty king of god
The chosen one of god
Spoken:
And so the wise men the shepherds
The ox and the lamb
The angels above
All rejoiced at gods command
As a star shine from heaven
This new king to adorn
On that very first christmas
When jesus christ was born

King Without A Crown
Welcome to the great republic
Guess I should show you round
Where once I was a king
And now I am a clown
The love that we once shared
Made a king of me
But now youre gone... but now youre gone
All I face is poverty
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
Hell hath no fury
Like a woman scorned
But heaven dont boast - no heaven dont boast
The jewel - the pretty jewel I just pawned
Every cloud has a silver lining
Every dog has its day
Oh but I guess the sun stopped shining
On the day you went away
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Yes Im a king - king! king without a crown
Bathed in former glory
Deposed from my throne
How do I get to tell my story?
When all gets your answerphone...
But you aint home
With the love you gave
I felt like royalty
But now youre face to face - face to face
With one ex-member of the aristocracy
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
...king without a heart
...king without a hope
...king without a woman baby
Oh Im a king without a crown
Theres no need to feel down
Yeah just take a look around
Youll see a man whos just a man
Nothing more
A king without a crown
