Little Drummer Boy
Come, they told me, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
The newborn king youll see, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom.
Our finest gifts we bring, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
To lay before the king, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
Pa-romp-pa-pom-pom, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
So to honor him, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom, when we come.
Little baby, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
I am a poor boy too, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
I have no gift to bring, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
That fit to give our king, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
Pa-romp-pa-pom-pom, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom,
So to honor him, pa-romp-pa-pom-pom, Ill play my drum.
Come, they....
Little baby....

A Day in the Life of Paddy Murphy, Broker
Riding home on the train, Paddy's aware
that after supper, cigarettes, TV and beer
a romp on the wife will cloak
the question for another day.
He'll fear nothing then
till noon the next day when
the question will rise all over again.
If his luck holds, he'll survive
the ride home on the train, aware
that after supper, cigarettes, TV and beer
a romp on the wife will cloak
the question for another day.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to find a distributor to come into Canada with it, because I think it is a wild and crazy romp that really tells things like it is.

ACROSTIC (Winter)
Why have you left me here alone
inviting cold, windy guests
never remembering our summer romp
thank you for sea, sand and memory
every one held close to my heart, please
remember me, your lost summer love.

Introduction
Hey there everybody
Please dont romp or roam
Were a little nervous
cause were so far from home
So this is what to do
Sit back and let us through
And let us work on you
Weve all spent years preparing
Before this group was born
With heavens help it mended
And we do thank the lord
Now we put you through the changes
And turned around the mood
We hope it struck you different
And hope you feel moved
So forget all of your troubles
As we search for something new
And we play for you

Pillow Time
Theres a wonderland for alice
Theres a tall beanstalk for jack
The sleepy train will take you there
So safely down the track
With the sandman at the throttle
Youll be off to dreams and back
Its pillow time again
You will meet all your storybook friends
As you go down mother goose lane
Romp with jack and jill
Up and down the hill
And try to put humpty together again
Close your sleepy eyes and listen
While we take a little hop
The candy whistles blowin
Dont you miss your station stop
So good night my wee way fairer
Pleasant dreams to you, oh tot
Its pillow time again
You will meet all your storybook friends
As you go down mother goose lane
Romp with jack and jill, up and down the hill
And try to put humpty together again
Close your sleepy eyes and listen
While we take a little hop
The candy whistles blowin
Dont you miss your station stop
So good night my wee way fairer
Pleasant dreams to you, oh tot
Its pillow time again
Its pillow time agian...

Springtime Madness
A little madness in the spring
is for two lovers a welcome thing.
The romp through fields of all things green,
the chase, the catch, the inviting scene
is ripe for both their eyes to see.
It's nature's gift to he and she.
It becomes sweeter as it takes command
and fuels the lover's groping hand.
Now the madness of spring begins

Another Dream
I've had another dream I say
And in that dream I had my way.
I did not ask what I should do.
My reverie just allowed me to
Play and romp, then soar up high,
Reach my hand up to the sky,
Touch a star and feel its heat,
Fill my heart start to beat
louder, stronger then quiet down.
When I awoke I looked around
And things were as they were before.
I closed my eyes, tried dreaming some more.
But dreams like that never come my way.
So I must remember this one and say
"Why not

A Bit of Advice to a Bit of a Stud
Are you dreaming of a new romance
Or is that a pistol in your pants?
Judging by the way you swagger
You'd think you have a RIGHT to shag her! !
She, of course, is far less willing
Unless she thinks she can make a killing,
Unless you're rich, in other words,
Which is typical of bloody birds! !
Unfortunately, you don't have a penny
So Sarah, Anne, Denise or Jenny
Will not be opening their door
Like any tart or little whore.
You'll have to offer something more
Than just a romp between the sheets
With a guy who prowls the city streets! !

The Sands Are Alive With Sunshine
The sands are alive with sunshine,
The bathers lounge and throng,
And out in the bay a bugle
Is lilting a gallant song.
The clouds go racing eastward,
The blithe wind cannot rest,
And a shard on the shingle flashes
Like the shining soul of a jest;
While children romp in the surges,
And sweethearts wander free,
And the Firth as with laughter dimples . . .
I would it were deep over me!

Frog Logic
Tell me is it fun to go to the beach
When the sky is all sunny and blue
Or go for a ride on a bicycle
Like millions of people do
And what is more fun on a warm sunny day
Then a friendly romp with a dog
Well I really don't know cause all i've been told
Is, its jolly to be a frog
Well they tell me that fun is the color of red
And that dreams are all gold and blue
And of all the hours there are in a day
Each one is a different hue
But wherever I go or wherever i've been
It's always the same old scene
Cause being a frog makes it different you know
It's always the same old green
But with all of your worries and all of your cares
You keep running round in a fog
So, i'll stay in this pond and i'll tell the whole world
It's jolly to be frog!
A Boy's Summer Song
'Tis fine to play
In the fragrant hay,
And romp on the golden load;
To ride old Jack
To the barn and back,
Or tramp by a shady road.
To pause and drink,
At a mossy brink;
Ah, that is the best of joy,
And so I say
On a summer's day,
What's so fine as being a boy? Ha, Ha!
With line and hook
By a babbling brook,
The fisherman's sport we ply;
And list the song
Of the feathered throng
That flit in the branches nigh.
At last we strip
For a quiet dip;
Ah, that is the best of joy.
For this I say
On a summer's day,
What's so fine as being a boy? Ha, Ha!

Junk-Food-Challenge
What an offensive brain
Tasking with junking the kids
Packed with deceiving zesty spices
Coated colourful with fattened salt and sugar..
Devoured the kids
In high spirits the packs romp and rollick
Eaten children lethargic
Resort to be hyped
Only junked in the packs hooked
Unaware of the sick-riding ghosts hidden

Blubbercraft
He took her to the beach with him
To see if his fat dog could swim
Short and fat and close to the ground
He needed to know if she would drown
She had no fear of water and sand
She didn’t run for high and dry land
She stepped right in up to her belly
And chased that creature made of jelly
From bow to stern and fore to aft
That dog was a classic blubbercraft
Her feet left the sand and she was afloat
Like a bobbing little doggy boat
No more does her owner have concern
Of losing his dog in a tidal churn
He’ll let her romp and chase and play
In the happiness of ocean spray

To You Dear Little Boy
And now, steady you walk
Romp to explore your efforts
Following are your parents
You jump and jump and jump
Over the stairs up
Following are your parents
You then hop and hop and hop
Chasing the steeple over hurdles
Following are your parents
Then you run and run faster and faster
Hunch-backed with your erudition and profession
Running still faster after your possession and passion..
Hey, quite a while later
You pant at a point of realisation
Turn back; note a sullen blot
Waiting are your parents old enough
Will you run? stun?
Paces on life one's from a mama and a papa
Loyal ever be o' dear little

At the Expense of Decency
How do I feel,
About those who sleep around...
With same sex partners,
While they cheat on spouses...
Of the opposite sex?
And pass their judgements,
As they hide their deviant behavior...
In the convenience of darkness kept?
In the attempt to destroy,
Someone else's happiness?
Downlow.
Lowdown.
Lowlife,
Weasels!
Adopting sleaze,
As a consciousness...
To address all that they feast,
At the expense of decency.
'You have strong opinions! '
Only given and directed,
When those knowingly slither about,
With wholesome values dripping from their mouths.
And smelling of bad breath...
Fresh from a romp with decadence.
And in broad daylight,
They campaign for political correctness in shouts.
And their deceits receive no attention.

Promises to Keep
Live it up!
By all means...
Don't let me stop you!
I wouldn't dare allow my eyes,
To drift away from absorbing this!
Your current romp in glee,
Reminds me of so much I must remember!
For every chicken I watched my mother pluck!
And for every blister suffered on my father's hands...
Obtained by working ungloved in an iron factory,
You are going to pay!
For every roach that crawled on my skin,
For every rat that fell on my sister
When the ceiling caved in!
For every teardropp I wiped from my swollen eyes...
I STILL have problems drying.
You are going to pay for the lies you told,
To keep our lives lived that way!
Live it up!
I have forgiven.
But forgotten...
I have not!
Live it up! !
I have promises to keep!
And memories to release and unlock,
That feeds my anger!

Muse on Memes (Larmer Tree July 2007)
When the drum beat pounds and the night explodes
And the music sounds through a humming crowd.
There’s a flash of red from your dancing head
And big brown boots couldn’t give a cahoots!
‘cos she’s “always dancing, always dancing”.
There’s a soulful lyric, or a sax solo
And a birdsong mimic or a mobile phone
In her own space, in her own time
Fire in her face proud ‘cos she’s ‘mine’.
Professional shimmy to eclipse my stomp
Longing for to gimme a hop, skip and romp.
Freedom of spirit - fly, fly away
Up above the limit, dance another day
There’s a flash of red
From your dancing head
And big brown boots
Couldn’t give a cahoots!
‘cos she’s “always dancing, always dancing”.

A Fleeting Passion
Thou shalt not laugh, thou shalt not romp,
Let's grimly kiss with bated breath;
As quietly and solemnly
As Life when it is kissing Death.
Now in the silence of the grave,
My hand is squeezing that soft breast;
While thou dost in such passion lie,
It mocks me with its look of rest.
But when the morning comes at last,
And we must part, our passions cold,
You'll think of some new feather, scarf
To buy with my small piece of gold;
And I'll be dreaming of green lanes,
Where little things with beating hearts
Hold shining eyes between the leaves,
Till men with horses pass, and carts.

The Lizard Wizard
Known as “Devil, Satan, Beelzebub”
By all world religions far n’ wide
Totems are the goat, owl n’ scarab
His specialties are war n’ genocide
Works black magic behind a curtain
Whilst the unsuspecting romp n’ play
He wants their souls, that’s for certain
First he must lead their minds astray
He bribes weak-minded folks with money
Knows where n’ when to press your buttons
He makes grand promises of milk n’ honey
Whilst minions heat up sooty cauldrons
*“So don't be tempted by the shiny apple
Don't you eat of a bitter fruit
Hunger only for a taste of justice
Hunger only for a world of truth
'Cause all that you have is your soul”
