The Stairway
I ascended the stairs
looking upward toward
heaven.
I saw a face, somewhere
among the stars.
Shining brightly
searching the galaxy
in the luminary,
we found each other.

Searching
I'm searching for something
Something I've already found
But not knowing that I've found it
Not even sure what it is that I've found
I'm not sure it's my soul that can't find it
Or my senses that seem to block my mind
From finding what I'm searching for that
I've already found
Or is it the heart that I can't trust to help me
Find my way to this thing I have found but don't know
I've found it
Is it the barrier we all have to come across?
That we will find but never know that we have found it
Or is it my lonesome imagination
trying to play tricks on me
I guess this is just one more thing
I have to deal with today
I know I'll always be searching
for something I've already found
And it will always be searching
for me but it has already found me
I know this thing I'm searching for
has and will change my life for the better
For I hold it very dear to me but don't know I do
And it holds me dear to it but
dose not know it holds me dear
I will always be within it
It will always be within me
We are part of each other
Pieces of a puzzle
The stars in the map of stars
Two wings of a butterfly
But what could it be that I'm searching for
Dose it think about me
Dose it wonder about who I am
Is it just as confused about me
as I am about it
as we lay on the blanket under the stars silently thinking
you turn on your side put your hand around me
then say so sweetly
so passionately
I'm so glad I found you baby
I've been looking for you for a life time
I love you and always will
for you are the only thing I’ve been
searching for

Sun Rise At Kanyakumari
Tri sea confluence accompaned by confluence of hues
And the east is glittering with colors motley;
Till the Sun has not come out and it is not shining
The pink color is showing, He is slowly approaching.
The assemblage of the hues there in the east,
By the sea is photographed through a spindrift.
Watching these things regularly, without failure
Is standing there the image and memoirs of the luminary.
Now the east is wrapped with the colors motley,
These are the first foot notes of the Sun following.
The thundering waves roared in the welcome of the Sun,
With His rising they began to brightly glisten.
The Sun slowly arosed but falsely it was felt,
That he came out through the waters of the sea.
And the photograph shot by the spindrift
Shows the motley sky at the time of Sun rise.
Let the Sun be more enchanting at Kanyakumari,
And the waves carry doctrine of vivek by the luminary.

Feels Like Heaven
All through my wandering years
I always said I was biding my time
But alone in the dark Id face my fears
That no other heart would come to mine
At first when you found me
It took me a while til I realized
Why I felt weak when you were around me
Why I couldnt speak when I looked in your eyes
All this time Ive been searching
Until you, I was lost in my dreams
And I never knew that love could feel like heaven
Watching over me
Oh wherever you go
Invisible hands reach over the miles
For every wish you make to the stars
Theres one silent kiss I send to the sky
All this time Ive been searching
Until you I was lost in my dreams
And I never knew that love could feel like heaven
Watching over me
Everything has changed
Since you came my way
cause you put the color
In a world of grey
And you make the love
That carries me away
All this time Ive been searching
Until you I was lost in my dreams
And I never knew that love could feel like heaven
Watching over me
Feels like heaven
Watching over me

I look up at the stars
(after Samuel Ha-Nagid)
I look up at the stars
and they sparkle like drops of hail,
but where they are shining, with awesome power
there existence had to be planned to the finest detail.
They burn as if their power will never be spent,
are scattered in galaxy upon galaxy
and are numerous, almost without end,
as beacons to the glory and power of God.
Yet He calls them by name,
constructs their disposition, the way
that they are set
like a omnipotent magician
or maybe He gathers and leads them
as His shining flock,
while He shepherds even every stray one
by His great power, at His mere will.

Galaxy
The Galaxy
On the terrace in the sun I closed my eyes
and saw coloured light dancing under my
eyelids like a galaxy that only existed inside
of me… or is the real galaxy an illusion.
Scientists watch stars in their great telescope
but only see what is in their heads…
And we agree because we too only see what
is in our own mind. Ruby stars and pink moons
and the dream of immortality that our souls
fly to a mysterious planet like our own where
death has been vanquished.

Careless Words
Careless words clutter the galaxy,
Chunky tales have no end to their galaxy;
Yet enchanted we stand in this tallness,
Dazzling and bright are the stars for us.
Dear prizes await the distinct, as the galaxy
Shall suffer from them from time to time,
Direful consequences await the suffered,
Much time depresses us while we slaughter.
Extra-large thoughts clutter our stars with pain,
Deranged mad brains cluster as stars
In this field of vision, in this dead space.
I see delight and delicious food in the stars.

Stairway To The Stars
INTRO
There's a silver trail of moonlight leading upward to the sky
And the night is like a velvet lullaby
There's a heaven of blue
And we'll go there, just you and I
Let's build a stairway to the stars
And climb that stairway to the stars
With love beside us to fill the night with a song
We'll hear the sound of violins
Out yonder where the blue begins
The moon will guide us as we go drifting along
CHORUS:
Can't we sail away on a lazy daisy petal
Over the rim of the hill?
Can't we sail away on a little dream
And settle high on the crest of a thrill?
Let's build a stairway to the stars
A lovely stairway to the stars
It would be heaven to climb to heaven with you
Let's build a stairway to the stars
A lovely stairway to the stars
It would be heaven to climb to heaven with you

All I Wanna Do
All I wanna do
Is always bring good to you
To give you all the love I can
And help you in whatever you do
Sure as the sun will come around again to start off another day
You can be sure that in my heart and soul Ill love you in every way
All I wanna do
Is bring happiness to you
I hope it makes you happy to know
My loves with you wherever you go
Oo when I sit and close my ey-eyes
A gentle thought comes in my mind
My love is burnin brightly
My moon and stars shine nightly
All I wanna do
All I wanna do
All I wanna do
All I wanna do
Oo let these little words of love
Come romance and light your way
My love is burnin brightly
My moon and stars shine nightly
All I wanna do (lonely in the night I feel)
All I wanna do
All I wanna do
My love is burnin brightly
All I wanna do
Doo doo doo doo doo
My moon and stars shine brightly
All I wanna do
My love is burnin brightly
All I wanna do
Doo doo doo doo doo
My moon and stars shine brightly

Believe First In Yourself Baby
believe in yourself first baby
and everyone will soon follow
they will believe you because
you believe in yourself
and you will lead them to the
belief of other selves and
all of you will start believing
another soul becomes a king
another soul becomes a queen
and soon you shall have a
kingdom of believers: strong
men and women,
without an oppressor
without a tyrant
and soon we all become ourselves
planets within our orbits
a galaxy moving alone
lights shining, stars and more stars
who is afraid of a black space
who is afraid of a black hole
who is afraid of this mouth of
boredom and loneliness?
no one, no one, because
we believers in ourselves
foremost, like to eat them.
and there fromt this earth
the stargazers see us:
shining stars, venus, jupiter and mars
look how they shine!

Heaven And The Stars
Brilliant heavens of evening,
Distant stars clearly shining,
Bright as the rapture of childhood,
O why dare I send you nevermore greeting--
Stars, who are shining as clear as my joy?
What is thy sorrow?
Mortals make question.
This is my sorrow;
The heavens and the stars are--heaven and stars ever,
I am alas! but a perishing man!
Forever mortal
Envies his neighbor;
I envy rather
Ye in your freedom, ye stars ever radiant,
And only would be in your places!

If Our Sun Is A Star
Everyone living on Earth can see,
The Sun shining brightly...
With a radiance believed.
But when we leave this Earth,
Do we become stars...
To twinkle far?
And if our Sun is a star,
To shine brightly day and night...
Who and what is this,
Assigned to protect our existence?
Are we too not 'gods'...?
Here as a work-in-progress.
Awaiting to be assigned,
Somewhere in the Universe...
To exist eternally as 'divine'?
If not...
Why would God insist,
We exist to love Him first...
Above all others?

Broken
I'm A Lonely Road Of
Broken Dreams
Its A Boulevard That
I'm Searching For
These Stars Are All
So Dull
Its The Moon That I'm
Searching For
Happiness Is So Angry
At Me
Its Life That I'm
Searching For
There Is A Crowd
Around Me At All Times
Its a Friend That I'm
Searching For
My Life Is Just Like
Path
Its A Destination That
I'm Searching For
Don't Know What Is It
That I've Lost
May Be Its 'ME' That
I'm Searching For! !

As night
approaches
I climb upon
my window seat
staring into
night skies
searching
amoung the
stars
looking for
you.
somewhere in
the galaxy
beyond the
milky way
you are

While night animals were frolicking around outside
While night animals were frolicking around outside
you came to lie against me,
with stars shining brightly in the dark sky
and you wanted me to recite some poems.
Outside the wind rustled the potato trees,
you came to lie against me
while the golden moon for a time was wavering
and everything was pitch black around me.
Outside the wind rustled the potato trees,
before sleep eventually led me away
and jasmine, lavender and gardenia was on the wind
and everything was pitch black around me.
but in no dreams I could find you,
you waited wide-awake for first light
and jasmine, lavender and gardenia was on the wind
and the stars shined like jewels in the night.
While night animals were frolicking around outside,
you waited wide-awake for first light
with stars shining brightly in the dark sky.

In Search Of A Man
I am searching a man
I am in search of a man
And here there is no man.
Village town state
Land water sky
I search out and out
and not found.
Found the dog the cow
The crow the camel
The tiger the snake
No man said Jackal.
I am still searching
Still searching seaching.
I am in search of a man
I am searching a man.

An Owl In Darkness
an owl in darkness hidden
somewhere in the trees,
began to chant - unbidden
her soft soliloquys.
a slender crescent shining
and stars undaunted by,
a black cat in a fir tree caught
meowing at the sky.
such was the twilights gifting,
the offerings of the night.
til heaven started
shape-shifting
from darkness into light.
then raven spelled the owl,
and dewdrops, stars replace.
as dawn removed the heaven's cowl
and moon withdrew her face.

Searching For The Face Of Jesus
He believed if you had a little faith
you could stop the rain
and he believed if you got a little love
it would ease the pain
but still he's suffering
Searching for the face of Jesus
Looking for the light we need
Searching for the face of Jesus
painted in the blood we bleed
By the side of a giant swimming-pool
with a mystic book
Hanging out with the guys and playing the fool
fat as King Farouk
but look he's suffering
Searching for the face of Jesus
downtown Memphis, Tennessee
Searching for the face of Jesus
Science is a mystery
Oh and sometimes there's a close shave
They come, they go
Keeps the flowers fresh at his mom's grave
and talks to her as though...
Searching for the face of Jesus
Looking for the light we need
Searching for the face of Jesus
painted in the blood we bleed
Searching for the face of Jesus
downtown Memphis, Tennessee
Searching for the face of Jesus
Science is a mystery
