Always Searching

As night
approaches

I climb upon
my window seat

staring into
night skies

searching
amoung the
stars

looking for
you.

somewhere in
the galaxy

beyond the
milky way

you are

Come To My WIndow

Climbing the stairs to the window sitter
With brown eyes that twinkle and glitter
Louder than the shimmering moon over yonder
Gazing at her, for the heart is fonder

My dear princess, Rumpelstiltskin
With a golden locks that spring
From your crowning glittering nest
Golden twigs that fall off in zest

With an Alice band that pulls the locks
As your shadow falls over across
The moon smiles at the glimmering beauty
As the stars in a jealous rage seek mutiny

For an earthly star that glitters like gold
Springing light in to the galaxy's fold
You gaze with your luminescent getaways
At the vast oceans of space in our own milky way

Come to the window my love, for night breaks
Plant a million windy kisses for the skies are awake
For the glittering dwarfs to bow at a giant at heart
For the night to coast, for a starry renaissance to start

As the moon and stars see the flying kisses
Murmurs and whispers lingering in hisses
Jealousy parts for goodwill to prosper
As the stars line up for an earthly caper

With my lass leading the way, dear Rumpelstiltskin
With glittering getaways, tresses and skin
Gazing at the stars on a cold windy night
As the stars explode in to an extravaganza of light

Now the galaxy is filled with light abound
A goddess gazing from a window on a tower mound
As stars line up to fall down from the sky
Shooting to a window from their celestial high

The night embraces a fiesta of color
As stars fall to a window on a lonely tower
Rumpelstiltskin smiles and hold her hand out
To embrace a meteor shower coy she nought

What Uncle Rob Says

Uncle Rob says,
That once on a time the fire flies
Were stars with the others up in the skies.

They used to shimmer, and dance and play,
Night after night in the Milky Way.

But when their papa, the stern old Sun
Said 'off to bed with you every one,'

These bold little stars refused to obey,
'Let's hide in that cloud and then run away.'

'Let's run to the earth,' these bad stars said
'We are quite too old to be sent to bed.'

So then they were exiled out of the skies,
And that's how we came with the fire flies,
So Uncle Rob says.

Glow Stars

Kiss me, kiss me, under a glow-star sky;
If theyre stuck on the ceiling I dont mind.
Its a brittle world but its soft inside
Ill make the milky way for you, only you
For you, only you.
And I will always ride far into the night with you,
And I will take my chances, far into the night with you.
Only you, with you, only you
Love me, love me, under a glow-star sky,
Its a galaxy when we get high
And sleep to the junkies lullabies,
I close my eyes for you, only you
You, only you.
And I will always ride far into the night with you,
And I will take my chances, far into the night with you.
I touch your face, Im flying over fields,
I touch this moment - its mine.
Im an angel, Im a parasite,
Im a vessel - I shine.
Kiss me, kiss me, under a glow-star sky,
Well be pushing up soil someday, sometime,
So hold me now, hold me tight,
Ill make the milky way for you, only you,
For you, only you.
And I will always ride far into the night with you,
And I will take my chances, far into the night with you.
And I will always ride, kiss me kiss me, far into the night with you,
And I will take my chances, kiss me kiss me, far into the night with you.
With you.

The Star outside my window

It was late
I couldn't sleep
The moon lit night was seaping through my window seam
i quietly rolled over on my tummy
as i gazed out at the starry night
i felt so small and weak looking at the millions of stars
just then one star caught my eyes
It was the biggest most spectacular star in the sky
at first i thought it couldn't possibly be a star
i sat still for minutes staring at it
it didn't move
not once
so i closed my eyes in the dead of night
and carefully made my wish to the star outside my fogged up window
i layed back down my eyes blinking shut
a smile on my face
i fell asleep with the sweet though that it might actually come true
that star still shines outside my window every night
my wish never came true

Starless Skies

Under the starless skies at night
I sit and wonder at that sight.
They were there before the sadness came
and what is there that I can blame?

My eyes are clear but for a tear
that forms when you're not here.
I dry my tear but still can't see
a single star to shine for me.

I dream of stars up so high
burning brightly in the sky.
But dreamy states just don't last.
So the stars are just a part of my past.

Just one star is all I need.
Just one star that can exceed
the limit ness I have felt
in this world I where I have dealt

with starless skies and vacancy
that out of nowhere come to me.
I'll keep on searching on each night
until one comes into my sight.

Milky Way Galaxy

At night the sky
Becomes an entire new world
To the human eye

The moon
Sometimes as round as a soccer ball
Appears as it begins to get dark

A million tiny bright lights
Called stars
Appear like specks of dust
Out of nowhere

And soon I am outdoors
Observing the planets like mars
And also the Milky Way galaxy
With my trustworthy telescope

Night-Night (Children)

Night-night moon
Night-night stars
Night-night noisy
trucks and cars.

Night-night sand box
Night-night toys
Night-night other
girls and boys.

Night-night mom
Night-night dad
Night-night Boogie Man
who's not bad.

It's time to go to sleep now,
most all my night nights said.
Night-night blankie
Night-night bed.

Stars, Stripes and Paper Dolls

Stars, stripes and paper dolls
Sometimes most prominent inside
My troubled mind,
That sordid spirit had
Locked the door to humanity-
I was none but a child-
Too many dreams
Snakes at my bedside-
My delusional world
Alive last night,
This morning and at
Noon, every night-
Walking the tightrope day by day
Some child lashing out at me, spit in my face-
None but a child myself-it frightened me-
I became a prisoner inside the world of my dreams-
Locked inside with a platinum key-
Fell one day down the elevator slats-
Closed the door on humanity, I did-
Stars, stripes and paper dolls-
Each had a name-
Intruders from a different galaxy, or perhaps
Some other universe-
I never saw that child again- I had shut the whole world out-
A snake wrapped about my mother’s severed hand-
It hardly mattered; she was close by, protecting me-
Locked inside a world I had
Fabricated for my self alone-
Sitting cross legged on the carpet, staring at the ceiling-
They threatened to take me away last night-
Today, tomorrow, noon and at night-
Stars, stripes and paper dolls-
I played as a child of fourteen-
It didn’t matter- they knew the truth, but I didn’t, so
I cried no tears- I hear rain falling outside my window-
My door is unlocked momentarily-
I ride my proud stallion into the night-
Losing insight and finding my dreams-
Stars, stripes and paper dolls- always there for me-
Today, tomorrow and at night- and
I never found the key.

In A World Of My Own

In a world of my own
Sit in the open,
Serenely staring at the hub of the galaxy,
Snarling stars scorching
Sparkly holly hoisted to my eternity.
Shelling stars in slow motion saluting the Sonnet coronet prince,
Sizzling stones seafaring the will of their seldom lord,
Surely the solar system is slightly
Stretched out to sighing souls!
Swiftly, in a dive of spirit, I
Slide back to realism in my seat.

Stairway To The Stars

INTRO
There's a silver trail of moonlight leading upward to the sky
And the night is like a velvet lullaby
There's a heaven of blue
And we'll go there, just you and I
Let's build a stairway to the stars
And climb that stairway to the stars
With love beside us to fill the night with a song
We'll hear the sound of violins
Out yonder where the blue begins
The moon will guide us as we go drifting along
CHORUS:
Can't we sail away on a lazy daisy petal
Over the rim of the hill?
Can't we sail away on a little dream
And settle high on the crest of a thrill?
Let's build a stairway to the stars
A lovely stairway to the stars
It would be heaven to climb to heaven with you
Let's build a stairway to the stars
A lovely stairway to the stars
It would be heaven to climb to heaven with you

Heavenly night

In the milky night
the diamond moon glistens on
the silver lakes reflects
the power of twinkling stars! !

The smell of jasmine which
maketh the insects sit upon
the breezy wind peeps into my ear
to wakeup at the milky night alone
is wonderful and charm! !

The golden leaves falls from the tree
looks as going in the chilly air
as angels flies in the moon lit night! !

The melodies of trees chirping sounds of air
call me remembering the sound of salangai
worn by woman! !
The night birds sing the songs I am delighted
enjoyed standing in the chilly air beneath the moon lit night! !

Let the heavenly night wake me up
And I am delighted to stand under the moon lit night! ! !

(Salangai woman wear in their legs which gives beautiful sound

Lingard and the Stars

The table hurled itself, to our surprise,
At Lingard, and anon rapped eagerly:
“When earth is cold and there is no more sea,
There will be what was Lingard. Otherwise,
Why lure the race to ruin through the skies?
And why have Leffingwell, or Calverly?”—
“I wish the ghost would give his name,” said he;
And searching gratitude was in his eyes.

He stood then by the window for a time,
And only after the last midnight chime
Smote the day dead did he say anything:
“Come out, my little one, the stars are bright;
Come out, you lælaps, and inhale the night.”
And so he went away with Clavering.

Stay Awhile

Im touching your face and i
Cant get very far
You travel a million miles
Always in the stars
And crossing the clouds
A fading moon
Whispered its goodbye
But as it starts to die
Stay awhile
Show your love
Child amoung the stars
Just stay awhile
Lay with me
Tell me who you are
Ive never believed in much
What can I be worth ?
Im always a shooting star
Falling down to earth
I prayed in my heart
Youd never know
Feelings wouldnt show
But now before you go
Stay awhile
Show your love
Child amoung the stars
Just stay awhile
Lay with me
Tell me who you are
And crossing the clouds
A fading moon
Whispers its goodbye
But as it starts to die
Stay awhile
Show your love
Child amoung the stars
Just stay awhile
Lay with me
Show me who you are
Just stay awhile

From Afar

I have tracked you
through the ages
Galaxy to galaxy
along the milky-way.

Having known of you
never being able to
reach out, and touch
you.

How cruel can lives be
only allowing myself
to admire you from
afar.

Fait accompli

the plane took off
i realized i did not like the aisle seat
i transferred to the window seat
and the stewardess said
'excuse me, sir! ' trying to stop me
for doing so,
i pretended i heard no one
moved as fast a i can towards the window seat
fastened my seat belt
and put my head
well rested on the
beside the window

below the clouds flew
past me
on a deceiving speed
the mountains spread
benumbing

Different Race

We look beyond the stars at night
and ponder at the glowing lights.
Romancing in our fiction head
what might or might not be there.
We close our eyes
and dream of an encounter
with some different race than our own.
Telescopes search the skies at night
for some signal from afar.
Searching for some form of life
that might live on a distant star.
Hoping to find we are not alone
within the universe so vast.

Waiting For Peace

Slow night.. Singing crickets and beetles night accompanied
I was standing at a window glass
Staring intently and muttering dark of night

'I want to break it into chunks of longing small pieces are always sparkling crystals decorate a beautiful room in my heart'

But the black night
Anxiety dissipates
Of my dreams
About my hopes
All that I think about you

When the blackened night
Feel tired
Sleepiness was hung on the eyelid..
I'm in his arms and muttering night

'Love, do not pass from me.. Do not go from my side.. '

Love,
Let me end the night with all the peace

Night Life

Debra waitin on the corner
Flarin smile and darin style
Big g cruising, neon flashin
Lost and found
Tinsel town
Day time orphans join the circus
Climb the rope and walk
The wire
To feel the night and the
Music playing
Feed the fire
To feed the fire
Night life, only living for
The night life
Its the only kind of night life
I only come alive for night life
Couples coasting, singles
Searching
Loners lost among the crowd
Action turning on reaction
Lose up
Fool around
Pretzel vendor, first class
Spender
Limousine and ketchup dream
Pinball hall and roulette roller
Every scene
For everything
Night life, only livin for
The night life
Its the only kind of night life
I only come alive for night life
Night life, only livin for
The night life
Its the only kind of night life
I only come alive for night life
Night life, night life
Its the only kind of night life

Just Another Lonely Night

Michael stokes & linda stokes
Intro:
Lonely night, just one lonely night
Without you
Lonely night, just one lonely night
Without you
I remember that could september
You packed your bags and you went away
You were my only love
But you were searching for
A better life in l.a.
Oh this loneliness Im feeling
Has got my body chilling
Im in need of your touch
Wont you rescue my desire
I long to feel your fire
Im in need of your love
Chorus:
Just another night
Just another lonely night
Without you, baby
Just another night
Just another lonely night
Without you, baby
Cloudy skies look like theyre here to stay
And the sun no longer lights up my day
I wish the phone would ring
Such joy your voice would bring
I miss the stars that shine my way
Is there someone else in your heart
Thrilling you with his charms
While Im lying here alone
We never seem to meet
Down this rocky road of love
Cant you see its you Im thinking of
Chorus
Bridge:
My days are cold
And my nights are so lonely
Im like a bird without a song
Like the saying goes
Theres too many fish in the sea
Deep down inside I knew
That you were meant for me
Chorus (repeat)
