Shattered Shards
looking in the
distance
suddenly a star
appeared.
Revealing a
face
so familiar
a face of
yester-year.
It burst into
a million pieces
scattering shards
through out the
universe.
Impossible to
retrieve
until this day
one small piece
remains missing.
Leaving me
wandering
forever searching

After Years
Today, from a distance, I saw you
walking away, and without a sound
the glittering face of a glacier
slid into the sea. An ancient oak
fell in the Cumberlands, holding only
a handful of leaves, and an old woman
scattering corn to her chickens looked up
for an instant. At the other side
of the galaxy, a star thirty-five times
the size of our own sun exploded
and vanished, leaving a small green spot
on the astronomer's retina
as he stood on the great open dome
of my heart with no one to tell.

Without You
I miss you with your
happy face
Being without you
is a hell
I do not wish to be in
this place
The world is not
the same
My tears are dropping
never ceases
Like the waters of the
great niagra
My heart is broken into
tiny pieces
Like a thousand piece
jigsaw puzzle
With one crucial piece
missing
It will never be put
together again

Moment In Time
there was a time i loved your face,
i loved your smile,
i loved your everything
and suddenly my world crashed in million peaces,
i hated your face, i hated your smile,
i hated your everything,
as the time passed i learned to live with it,
learned to see your face,
learned to see you smile,
yet your smile was never the same,
i know there is something missing,
that shadow over your face is something new,
but where is the shine in your eyes i used to see,
i used to love, it is not in your eyes,
that shadow stole it,
that shadow which is all over your face, what is it?
i'd like to know will i ever see a smile i loved,
or was it just a dream, a moment in time i got lost in
, and i never found way out, i tried to find it
but i know now that i'm lost forever in that short moment
, now i beg you to show me the way out
or i'll never love anyones face or any other smile
, please let me out of that prison of your eyes,
let me be free from your smile,
i need to get out i need to see the light again,
this shadows are killing me,
let me go or move the shadows away
and keep me forever locked in your smile,
in your eyes and in your heart
Thousand Pieces
When I was born
My heart's shattered
Into thousand pieces
That's why
In my life
I always search my lost pieces
One by one
I look for it in many places
Piece by piece
I found it in many hearts
It is strange
Even though I
Never experience before
I feel like
I have known it
For a very long time
Memories
Favorites
Dreams
Fe elings
One by one
I collected many puzzles
Year by year
I got it back in many ways
Desires
Wills
Vows
Reasons
One by one
I take through many wounds
Piece by piece
I keep it in many stars

Lost
Searching in the crowd
For a resemblance
To no avail
No familiar faces
I once loved
A forbidden love
Oceans separated you from me
Virtually all familiar faces gone
I roam the dessert of life
Feeling all alone
Like a blind man searching
For a familiar face
The sound of your voice
The ringing of laughter shared
Of familiar faces
Barren, empty bossom
Swallowed by the dessert of life
All familiar faces
Passed with time...

Oh Darlin
Before we met there must have been some others
Like storybook and fairy tale lovers
But in my life theres never been another
So perfect lover
Oh ho darlin
Now that Ive found you
Its like a missing piece of puzzle has appeared
And now my darlin
My love surrounds you
And since you came into my life my love
Perfections never ever been so near
To love and to be loved is so inspiring
And thats why every lovers so desiring
Of the love theyre seeking never retiring
Always aspiring
Love like just like moonlight glowing
Our love keeps growing
Oh ho darlin
Now that Ive found you
Its like a missing piece of puzzle has appeared
And now my darlin
My love surrounds you
And since you came into my life my love
Perfections never ever been so near
Lying here with you in the night
Underneath the heavenly skies
Baby what a beautiful sight
Darlin now hold me, hold me tight
Oh ho darlin
Now that Ive found you
Its like a missing piece of puzzle has appeared
And now my darlin
My love surrounds you
And since you came into my life my love
Perfections never ever been so near
Oh darlin (God only knows)
Now that Ive found you (how I love you ee oo)
Its like a missing piece of puzzle has appeared
And now my darlin (God only knows)
My love surrounds you
And since you came into my life my love
Perfections never ever been so near
Darlin (God only knows)
Found you (how I love you ee ooo)

Found you (how I love you ee ooo)

Together Forever
Together forever that’s what she
thought and maybe she said it too
you can’t recall it being such a while
ago but hey you loved her right even
if you never actually said so in so many
words at least not to her face not so she
could drink it in and set it amongst the
other dreams she had as a 14 year old girl
and what she thought of 14 year old you
you’ll never know now and she never said
at least not to your face not so you could
tuck it in with the dreams you had of being
a racing driver or movie star or some such
other but being together forever never
took off and maybe without answer just her
dying years later with cruel creeping cancer.

A Charm invests a face
the face - is the record
of time now and beyond
a million stories in sight,
sound, taste and senses
known and unknown
sad face - it's a scar of the earth really
happy face - it is an extension
of the bloom to help the earth smile
sad face it soon seeks its way
out in another face
a mirror to another world
where there is every reason to shine again
hidden in - some features
are some wonderful tales of yester years
- prophets, fairies and those
who had seen god
if you have the blessings
to reach out to them
if you have consumed the bible,
the koran and other
heavenly sent books -
you know the face is
the most artistic chore
of the Creator
- he makes sure no two are alike
joseph the most blessed of them all

Kiss The Rain
Quiet rain at starlit night
Without bow and without sound
Fallen to wet the ground
Dropping from another world
The girl in the rain
Without shelter and with a dog
Walking and searching for a way out
With steady steps toward a dim light in the front
People in the rain
Watching her and hard to believe
Is she wandering without an aim
Why she is so assured by herself
Face up and kiss the rain
She stops and stares at a star with smile
She knows the star is never far away
The star is watching her everyday
The star knows her and the dog better than anybody else
The star will lead her home and always stay and never walk away
It’s her star
It’s her dog
It’s her rain
It’s the rain from the star

The Piece Just Under The Top Right Corner
I was 'Shattered' I'm the mirror
There's broken pieces everywhere
I'm just shards now
I hold onto these shards with my hand and grip them tightly
I want to re-make myself But I won't use the ugly shards I'll grip them tighter
Let them sink into my skin
The problem
Is the paradox of me picking up myself while I'm broken
It just doesn't work
But then You came
But then You came and asked me to let go of the pieces
For all to see
The ugliness hidden deep inside of me
I'd never have let go for anyone but You
You'd offered me this chance many times too
But for some reason this time I just let go
Instead of trying to make myself into something I just let go and let You
And now my broken shards we're the pieces just under the top
The top right corner
We're.... I'm whole, and my once-makeshift shard
Has been made by the master
Into a part of the masterpiece that is Your kingdom
I'm just a piece but You saw the whole picture since the beginning
Now I'm proud to be there for all to see
But You aren't done with Your work in me
Or in this world
So now my brokenness is a beautiful mosaic of hope
A beautiful mosaic of love
All the broken pieces
Make a picture of something like a cross
To remind us that sin has no power
The sting of death is gone
So I'm just under the top right corner
But I need to gather some more pieces to make the corner
Not that it is I but You, my Lord
It's time to go out and show the world that brokenness
Brokenness healed through God's power
That's beautiful

Welcome Home
As we
arrived
at the
airport
my eyes
kept
searching
for you
suddenly
you
appeared
tea rs fell
down a
face
creating
puddles
of water
a heart
was
overflowing
with love
this was
our first
meeting
you were
coming
home
with us.

Mend The Hearts Fall In Love At Sixteen
It was my habit to pry into
the note books of my son
to see casually what he did in school.
Once I stumbled upon a piece of paper
with different hand-writing.
On browsing it, I inferred,
my son had been caught
into the web of love.
The web-designer had couched her tongue
in Advanced Love(Java) with sentiments sloppy.
“My job will be tough
to bring him back to earth”, I thought.
“ This is the reason for your poor scores
in Physics and Chemistry”,
I blared with a glare at him.
“ No teachers for three months’, he mumbled.
“ You will lose your memory
and will be a second class student”, I said.
He was silent as a deaf.
“Those who aren’t fit to love
always talk ill of it”,
his silence seemed to say.
My wife thought of taking him to a saint
who could make him meditate
and think of God alone.
But the saints know not the pangs of love;
and most of them know to molest than to love.
“ When caste is stumped out
and religion is clean bowled in India,
my dear son, you respond;
till then you depend on your books”,
before I finished, he stared at my face.
It appeared he would say,
“ Such problems are in villages”.
“ Some naughty beauty has mesmerized my boy
To pick holes in my speech”, I guessed.
I could not seek the help of his friends,
to retrieve him from the dreamy world,
for they too are social in English dealing schools.
I didn’t want his Principal to advise him
as he was an animal in beating the boys
and would also bite at the face of my son.
I was searching of a person right
to counsel him correct.
His habit of praying to God suddenly flashed
and I drew him before the picture of a God,
whose name I have given him and urged him to swear
he would not look at that enticing face again.
He did it and I was relieved of my tension
and demonstrated before him how to avoid that face.
But Valli, the second wife of the God, beside Him
was seeming to smile!

Lamentation…
I was born with piece of me missing
For a brief period I found that piece
Then I forsook the gift
for a few pieces of silver
When I came to my senses,
I sought reclaim what was missing
I pray I'm not too late to have you
My Beloved...

Uncertain Weather
A day of uncertain weather
Captured in a frame forever
A face in a faded photograph
He must have had a life
Maybe with a family
People who meant everything to him
A sinner, a saint, a soldier
Caught up in a war he never
Had a chance to start or build a life
All gone long ago
Leaving no trace
Disappearing like smoke in the wind
To become just a face without a name
Leaving no trace
Disappearing like smoke in the wind
Hopes and fears important plans
Forgotten memories
Footsteps fading in the sand, ooh
Schemes and dreams small and grand
Nothing left to see
Footsteps fading in the sand, ooh
Someone who cast a shadow
Maybe just a lazy man
Doesnt make much difference now its true
A day of uncertain weather
Captured in a frame forever
A face in a faded photograph
All gone long ago
Leaving no trace
Disappearing like smoke in the wind
To become just a face without a name
One more to add to the total
Of those never heard of again
Yes hes gone
Just a face without a name
Leaving no trace
Disappearing like smoke in the wind
All gone
Just a face without a name
Leaving no trace
Disappearing like smoke in the wind...

Then She Appeared
Then she appeared, apple venus on a half open shell
Then she appeared, the first photograph on fox talbots gel
I was a little frightened
Flying with my senses heightened
Cherubim cheered
When she appeared
Then she appeared, as the giggling crew of marie celeste
Then she appeared, pale atlantis rising out of the west
I was a little dazzled
Catherine wheeled and senses frazzled
Know it sounds weird
Then she appeared
And the sun which formerly shone
In the clearest summer sky
Suddenly just changed address
Now shines from her blue eyes
Then she appeared, brittle shooting star that dropped in my lap
Then she appeared, dressed in tricolour and phrygian cap
I was a little troubled
Hookah with my senses bubbled
All edward leared
Then she appeared
And the moon which formerly shone
On the marbled midnight mile
Suddenly just packed its bags
Now shines from her bright smile
Then she appeared
Out of nowhere

Hoody
She wears that hoody over her face for a reason.
So no one can see her cry.
She bottles up the pain.
When the bottle breaks she breaks.
She breaks into a million pieces.
She always finds those pieces again, and again.
So next time she'll break into a billion, instead of a million.
She is normal, but no one else will see it.
She is serious when it comes to work.
Nobody gets that about her.
She goofs off and yet still she is smart and serious about work.
She always stays by herself and keeps to herself, but it doesn't stop the torturing.
So she keeps her face hid by that hoody.
No ones smart enough to figure it out though.

Two people separate
Two people separate where one
says that she’s met another man
and suddenly everything that we had is gone
and missing you my life is empty
while I am forced to move on
with your face in every other woman’s face that I see
but even worse my job is done, my contract ended
and according to the company
it could no longer be extended
and I am living in a country where the colour of skin
in times of affirmative action
becomes the deciding thing
to have a job or to be jobless,
where to find a permanent job is almost impossible
and the companies that contract temporary cares less.

Dear hate...
Dear hate...
Who am i meeting today?
Is it Fury? Rage? Pain?
im hosting Depression, anger,
and you...hate. And sadness...
She came yesturday
and she's been crying ever since.
Was it you? Making her cry?
I felt your wars inside of me,
You and anger,
Batteling ferociously, while
Depression sit's in the corner
Turning all black with his soft whispers of
'you aren't enough! ''
And Sadness sobbed
Which fueled your hate
And fueled angers anger.
Pain and Rage burst in
with a bleeding roar
Pain rests on my heart,
tired from her agony,
She bleeds through,
and, God, how it aches.
Rage joins
Yours and angers battle.
Who will rule my actions?
Who will rule my thoughts?
Who will rule my words?
You, and Depression, seem,
to have stolen my thoughts...Ruler of all.
You send Rage an Pain
to weave into my words
and anger and sadness
flow into my actions
All i hear is roaring, sobbing, agony
buzzing in my ears, words, thoughts,
and all i see when i look into the mirror
is fury swimming
in the eyes of a broken soul,
shattered and unwhole
like if i broke the mirror
watched it splinter into a million pieces,
then sent each piece to a different place,
Would they come back?
No...they would be lost forever,
With the mirror frame
Standing bare and empty,
Containing only memories of what used to be
It's wholeness is gone, and it is lost
And if some pieces did come back,
there would still be cracks,
and missing pieces...unwole.
Fixing the mirror, would be like fixing me
...impossible.
And like that frame, frames emptiness
I do to, except for my basic frame
Which is built from Pain, Depression,
Rage, anger, and you...hate.
Yours forever
Your Captured Soul
