Not Known Outside
Not known to outside what is called hunger
It is not natural phenomena or coming out of anger
It is felt when fire is inflaming inside
When frustration is growing wide
You get no sleep when hungry
You look towards sky and feel sorry
Your hands are empty to feed
You are unable to meet the need
Hunger can burn whole of empire
They have only outrage and burning fire
No one can kill their spirit
As no hope is seen or lit
Many may be starving to death
So many may be enjoying with wealth
They need only two pieces of meals
We can’t have for them a nice deal
Let there be no hunger as proclaimed
No nature alone to be blamed
We have done injustice to nature
We have blackened our future
There is no answer to humanity
But yes it is poor thinking and bad quality
We can feed their mouth and see smile
That is what we can do for a while
We can for a while alienate
But we can’t afford to eliminate
Humanity as such can’t relate such things
It needs great care and more of something
Mere food grains may do little
They need to think positive and settle
How nature and forests are basic features!
This may become permanent and we may not have any cure
Sun may be blazing in noon
You may realize the devastation very soon
Nothing can shelter us from future gloom
No temporary steps can be considered in room
Soon it may turn into reality
We may loose out control and ability
Many more starvation deaths and deforestation
Not good place to live in then without sanitation
Let us groom with whole world
People are sympathetic and not turning cold
They want every human soul to live with peace
At least two time meals at ease

In open yard
Millions of tones of food grains just stored
Not for the normal situation to be restored
Piled in open just to get it wasted
No one stands to be blamed and responsibility not rested
The scores of people die due to starvation
There is no need for poverty alleviation
The poor themselves may be wiped out
This is story of human crisis and all about
The food grains rot in open yards
It remains unattended and doesn’t go forward
Many people sleep with hunger
There is hue and cry with anger
I sit not the shame on humanity?
We talk about moral and eternity
There is man made tragedy and misery
This crime has become almost necessary
We want to build empire on human skulls
Many people loose lives in fight with bulls
Many bear bullet wounds on the chest
Terrorists do their work nicely as the best
What to talk of humanity at large?
The atmosphere is with full of charge
We don’t regret any shameful act
We have lost the morality to react
We have enough to feed so we don’t bother
We see nom reason to stand together
We also want others not to be comfortable
Nothing should reach them or made affordable
We live with mean mentality and till feel proud
We have all the arguments that may look sound
We live in simplicity to present it as ideal model
Why not we be called fanatics and infidels?
Do we not butcher our own brethrens?
Do we not go for light with lanterns?
We have gone completely blind
Such inhuman behavior is not worthy to find

Have Desire To Have
Have money,
Plenty of money,
or little money,
Have appetite,
Have no time,
we are hungry,
and then become angry.
Have appetite,
Burning appetite,
Churning appetite,
dizzy appetite.
Have appetite,
Have plenty of time, but
Have no money.
People are hungry,
and they are hungry as always.
Angry are hungry,
anger for better things,
Better fast food,
better service,
better facilities
Hungry people are angry,
anger for basic food,
Just to fill the pit,
that churns day and night,
not knowing,
What is available to a man.
Hunger is the turning point,
when insufficiency is pointed.
Hunger is an insult,
when inefficiency is noted.
Let us have the desire,
to have a better world,
where no human,
go and sleep with hungry.

A Hunger
Hunger has no substitute and called as hunger
It is observed and felt even in anger
You need only two meals a day
But can't find a honorable way
It is narrated so nicely and gone
All good words said and not done
It is really curse and pathetic condition
It burns from inside and fuels the ignition
Nothing is seen or objected
All pleas for help is rejected
How can there be new ideas to be injected?
When person is hungry and angrily acted?
It is felt by poor and rich
It beyond everybody’s reaches
You won’t like idea if someone tries to preach
It is felt differently by each

The Sobs Of The Starving Children
We know about them from the radio and television and the hungry getting hungrier by the day
But we do not hear the sobs of the starving children from where we live they seem so far away
On the six o clock news at times we do see footage of hungry
children in a Land where poverty and disease is rife
And we feel a twinge of sadness that we cannot help them since we have got our own struggles in life.
Still the sobs of the hungry children are growing louder and
not all of them live in a far Country
And not all of them in the slums of the big city there's such a thing as hidden poverty
The single mother raises her brood on welfare and she has to struggle for to make ends meet
And they survive on bread and tea and milk and cornflakes since she cannot afford to buy them meat.
Banks and corporations make billions in yearly profits and we read and hear of their financial gain
But they don't help to feed the starving children and the growing scourge of poverty remain
A mile from where the billionaire lives there's poverty and hunger yet of their plight he does not wish to know
Still for him to grow wealthier others must grow poorer and
life goes on as it did years ago.
To find want you don't have that far to travel for poverty is everywhere and near
And though the starving children keep on sobbing louder their cries for food we do not seem to hear
And sad to say that those who talk and dream of an egalitarian society will never live to see their dreams come true
And in a World where there is want and hunger the majority of the World's wealth still with the wealthy few.

Within Easy Reach
'You have brain tumor and few days to live'
My eyes remained wide and hardly could believe
I had few problems with my headache and food appetite
No hunger, anger in no time and less sleep in nights
I had observed this change since many days
I was well off and had enough of means to find the ways
The medical cure was distinct possibility
I lost no hope for future and trusted the final destiny
I had been different for all these years
Life had posed so many difficulties with fears
I only know how could I come out of such stage?
The hunger felt for many days could not have been written on page?
I had taken vow not to suffer any more poverty
It was certainly curse on the person and humanity
How can any single soul sleep without meal?
It was felt badly by me as an unequal deal
I thought for a while an worked day and time
I forgot to take regular meal even sometimes
I cared for no day and night and thrived to collect money
I thought this was the only means and successful key
Not to mention means or make note of my journey
I had taken it as challenge and demand of the destiny
For me means was no end but a start of first step
The water was to flow smoothly from the water tap
The wealth flowed in enormous quantity
It was purely credited to my personal capability
I had worked day and night to come up to that level
Rest everything spoke of my success and story to tell
In doing so I deteriorated my health
Nothing could come to my rescue including wealth
For the first time my spine shivered
Death was smile from distance and murmured
My story may not be different from others
So many die in streets and so many die in field like soldiers
Yet death takes them over even if they are poor or rich
Life can be made beautiful and within easy reach

Accept, you are the wildest, right?
If you term a person ‘wild’
You mean that person is unreasonable
You mean that person reacts violently
You mean that person is unpredictable
You mean that person is unsociable
And you term us ‘wild’
Yes, I am representing that group of animals,
Who live in natural environment.
We go by the natural law ‘survival of the fittest’
We are simple and we never show up we are wise or smart
We live the present only, we know there is nothing called future
We eat only when we are hungry
We live only with those comforts nature has provided
We do not cheat or misrepresent facts
We make homes with available natural materials
We do not amaze wealth
We do not hoard anything
We kill only when we are hungry and eat the flesh then and there
We do not, however, kill our own tribe
And you call us ‘wild’
You are wise, learned and know many things
You make laws and you know how to break them without being caught
You amaze wealth for the comfort of your off-springs
You are worried more about future
Than being particular enjoying the present
You harness natural powers for your benefit
And you say this is just add to your comforts
You make use of every thing nature has provided
And manipulate them to match you needs
You experiment on us, not for our benefit
And claim that such experiments will help human beings
You kill us for pleasure,
Not always because you are hungry and need our flesh
Why you kill your own people
And say you are protecting your nation, tribe, faith or religion
With this great background you call us ‘wild’
If you insist we agree to be branded as ‘wild’
Provided, you accept
That you are ‘wildest’

Plight or Hunger
It is not plight or hunger
People are burning with anger
With decades and centuries passing over
They have yet to find shelter or cover
They have no means to find square meals
Someone is there at the top to steal
Their means of livelihood
Their only hope to live nicely in the neighborhood
We have stooped so below
We can’t see others happy or allow
We thrive on coffers business
No worry lines even on face
They have enough patience to tolerate
They know it is futile on their part to relate
Who has time to care for human values?
Their only aim is to deny the legitimate dues
Even sun does not spare them from burning rays
They have to toil hard with hard ways
Their babies cry for the want of milk or food
What else is there to feel so good?
Yet they have lion’s heart
They stand erect and look smart
They have high respect and honor for others
Except few essential things they don’t have to bother
No noise or flutter is created
Babies are silently cremated
River washes their remains silently
They watch it go quietly
I will give full marks to their tolerance
They deserve all kudos and praise hence
Poor are not burden on anybody
They are pulling on this earth for somebody
We may err if they are under estimated
Their position is not understood and clearly stated
They need proper care and attention
If basic values are realized and needs retention
It is not plight or hunger
People are burning with anger
With decades and centuries passing over
They have yet to find shelter or cover

Devil Music
They called him 'master'...
When he came.
To take them from the comfort of their homes.
Stripped of treasures,
And their names.
With nothing they could say,
And silent broken hope!
Forced to worship,
Strange deities.
And folks who treated them
Like they were beasts.
Some tried to flee,
The increasing heat.
But many found themselves soon in defeat.
The blazing burned their feet.
And the ones who ran were chased like enemies.
This fire...
It kept on burning!
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.
The 'master'...
Desired this fire.
To burn, burn, burn
Out of control!
Morning, noon and night
They'd call him devil.
And sang the music to him that he loved.
They would dance.
And together clap their hands.
This devil music kept them in a hold!
Yes,
The fire...
It kept on burning.
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.
The 'master'...
He kept the fire.
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
Yes this fire,
It kept on burning!
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
I said the fire...
It still keeps burning!
And it's blazing in a rage,
That's out of control!
The spreading flame...
Became higher.
So high it fixed in young minds,
Sold by the old!
Yes,
The fire...
It kept on burning.
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.
The 'master'...
He kept the fire.
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
Burning, burning, burrrrrnin...
Out of contrrroooool.
'ssssyesssss...
Children! '

You will not rain
I know you will not rain
As you find in it no gain
All our efforts are in vain
Problems follow like in chain
We deserve no mercy and pity
Villages ruined and rushing towards city
No more means and loosing entity
Life at standstill and no more continuity
Little more delay may invite wrath
Hunger all over and terrible deaths
Man will kill man for simple bread
You will be alive but lie will be dead
What is free from you as gift?
For sharing natural wealth we have rift
No one is budging with little shift
We need solution with meaningful lift
Air we have completely polluted
Chemicals and poisons in water diluted
No area we have left for natural intervention
Only destruction and no steps for prevention
Is this all we long for better tomorrow?
Are we prepared to be with nature and grow?
Can we not stop drive to block river’s flow?
If not, then get ready for nature’s blow
All forces combine and add to plight
Misery, hunger, deaths instead of delight
No immediate solutions is within sight
Who will come and suggest steps us right
Many may face ugly death and starvation
What is best means for our salvation?
What are the means for its alleviation?
Prevent unhealthy steps with concrete reconciliation

Of An Earthly Utopia
Of an Earthly Utopia all hope has not gone
The dream of peace and freedom from hunger it is living on
The flower of peace though not blooming it has not yet died
And the dream of Utopia cannot be destroyed
Those who try to detroy our Planet through their lust of greed
At the destruction of Nature cannot hope to succeed
When the last human being in eternal rest lay
Mother Nature will live on in her natural way
And since climate change is happening all around me
An Earthly Utopia i may not live to see
For the health of Mother Nature we do not seem to care
We pollute her lands and her oceans and her rivers and air
But for our crimes against her Nature us can forgive
And despite our greed the dream of Utopia does live.

Feed Them!
Plenty of fertile land,
In every host and guest,
Plenty of much needed grains,
In every other country,
We have enough food to feed,
But People are hungry.
One billion in total,
Seven tenth of them in Asia,
People have no money,
People have no man created money,
They sleep in hungry,
People have no mint created coins,
To buy the food to evade pain,
To fill their acidic stomach,
Every six person on earth,
One person is skeletal,
With haunted look,
One hundredth of them,
In the developed world,
shame on the hypocrites,
who hold back and destroy the food.
Gods of human, Feed them.
Gods of heaven, Feed them.
Gods of hell, Feed them.
Singular God of the desert,
Please feed them.
with the food to the poor
and the knowledge to the ignorant,
who are recalcitrant in nature,
selling the Gods to human.

A Life Without Money!
Could it be possible to live without money?
Why can’t man live without money in the world?
Long back I saw an African movie about this;
It is called “Gods Must Be Crazy! ”
One can get the idea to live without money!
Even today people are living life in farm houses
Far away from the civilised world of materialism
Without needing money for any purpose there!
In the forest and farm houses far away from towns
Life of the people needs no money at all it seems!
We can live without money but not without hunger!
Nature has given hunger and also all things to survive;
It is man’s own creation to live as slaves of comforts
In the world where nothing is permanent in time bound life!

D-anger
“D” is synonymous with smile
So it brings fragrance meanwhile
Anger is altogether different in nature
It brings disaster for certain and sure
Now to smile with anger is different concept
As mother scolds child when excessively wept
Or gets tough with family members when out of control
Such (d) anger is certainly a beautiful call
Even teachers preset rudely to students
It is not aimed at discouraging them or making any dent
It is simply meant to shape their personality
Test them to time and build fine quality
Danger spells about lurking misfortune around
Its presence is unnoticed and never found
Anger may reveal the state of total frustration
Some times out of tune or sometimes with complete relation
So many great sages and saints have dwelt at great length
Fire may burn dead body but anger may burn your live strength
You will loose common sense and disembark
People may compare your language as that of dog’s bark
Even if you are established as rude person with short temper
Still people will forgive you and not mind out burst or anger
As at heart you are very kind and care for their well being
So were the benevolent rulers praised as noble king?
If you can conquer over anger with little restrain
That will be considered as land mark and gain
As person is about to loose whole of his reputation
Only on account of being good but inconsiderate in relation

To Those Born After
I
To the cities I came in a time of disorder
That was ruled by hunger.
I sheltered with the people in a time of uproar
And then I joined in their rebellion.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.
I ate my dinners between the battles,
I lay down to sleep among the murderers,
I didn't care for much for love
And for nature's beauties I had little patience.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.
The city streets all led to foul swamps in my time,
My speech betrayed me to the butchers.
I could do only little
But without me those that ruled could not sleep so easily:
That's what I hoped.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.
Our forces were slight and small,
Our goal lay in the far distance
Clearly in our sights,
If for me myself beyond my reaching.
That's how I passed my time that was given to me on this Earth.
II
You who will come to the surface
From the flood that's overwhelmed us and drowned us all
Must think, when you speak of our weakness in times of darkness
That you've not had to face:
Days when we were used to changing countries
More often than shoes,
Through the war of the classes despairing
That there was only injustice and no outrage.
Even so we realised
Hatred of oppression still distorts the features,
Anger at injustice still makes voices raised and ugly.
Oh we, who wished to lay for the foundations for peace and friendliness,
Could never be friendly ourselves.
And in the future when no longer
Do human beings still treat themselves as animals,
Look back on us with indulgence.

Don't Hurt
Don’t hurt the poor’ sentiments
They have nothing to offer as comments
They have pitiful eyes but not for offering curses
It may be certainly a pointer with tears
Don’t we feel shame when tons of grains are lost?
Only because we can’t store with safety even though needed most
Whom are we fooling to add the plight?
Is it humanity versus humanity fight?
I find no answer as we are not less than vultures
Take out the flash as and when found for sure
No sparing of any soul for greedy needs
Who are we going pay any heed?
We claim near to God yet involve in dirty game
We bow head before God but feel no shame
We yet to ask more blessings in our venture
This is how we see our glorious future
If people semi starved and kept at bay
Make it determined bid to stay away
It may engulf your complete empire
This is fact and not simple satire
Many empires have been lost and re-emerged
They are poor but never approach or come to urge
They have only open sky to look at nothing to worry
They may sleep with empty stomach but feel no sorry
Make a point not to waste a single grain
It may cause no stir but only amount to drain
Are we not making cruel joke by simply wasting
When millions of people go hungry and fasting
I read with concern all the revelation
It raises eyebrows with many questions
No one seems moved at the deterioration of store facility
People remain there and there with loss of enough quantity
It may not amount anything
But food can’t be supplanted for something
They need two time square meals
Only this much if we can do to heal

I Need You, I Want You
satisfy my hunger, satisfy my greed
satisfy my longing, satisfy my need
satisfy my yearning, satisfy my desire
satisfy my craving, with your hose put out my fire
Take me to paradise, take me away
Take me to heaven, every single day
Feed me with your passion, feed me with your soul
Feed me with your fruit, feed me with your control
I need you to want me, I need you to be here
I need you to control me, for you are my puppeteer
Control me with your love, control me with your mind
control me however you want. I do not mind
For I am under your spell, and whatever you want i will give
For without you i am nothing, without you i do not want to live

Save The World
Looking at the news today is a cold depressing thing we see our nation stained
and the whole worlds up in flames. People starving all over the land what a low
down dirty shame and abroad we see the same we have our selves to blame. Well
it's been said that we should share what the master gives to us well the time
has come to help someone less fortunate than us.
(chorus)
Save the world, feed the hungry people, clothe the little babies, lend a
helping hand.
Save the world, feed the hungry people, show them we love and care.
I took a walk into town this morning a beggar followed me he said he needed
food to eat and spare some change please. I took him into the closest grill and
paid for all he could eat it warmed my heart as he said thank you ma'am to me.
Well it saddened me as walked a little further just to see that there is more
than one on every corner without a place to sleep.
(chorus)
We've got to feed the hungry mind soul and body shelter feed and cloth everybody
with much as we can please stretch out your hand.

I had been hungry all the years
I had been hungry all the years-
My noon had come, to dine-
I, trembling, drew the table near
And touched the curious wine.
'T was this on tables I had seen
When turning, hungry, lone,
I looked in windows, for the wealth
I could not hope to own.
I did not know the ample bread,
'T was so unlike the crumb
The birds and I had often shared
In Nature's dining-room.
The plenty hurt me, 't was so new,--
Myself felt ill and odd,
As berry of a mountain bush
Transplanted to the road.
Nor was I hungry; so I found
That hunger was a way
Of persons outside windows,
The entering takes away.

A move to reveal
There is nothing more to reveal
Mind is to act as vault and conceal
No willingness to for help and heal
This is problem and tragedy real
Humanity is on shame and there is deal
It is simple show of sympathy and not real
How long we will cheat our own conscience and soul?
Do we want to sleep in night like owl?
It may not get changed
Everything is simply arranged
The stage show is well managed
The thought demolition is on and raged
It is real pity
There is no continuity
There is no standardization in quality
It is mere show of strength and clear ability
There may be immediate gain
It may not be felt as pain
The vanes may easily allow thick blood to flow
W may shut the eyes and unnaturally grow
No one has time to think and act
We have lost even courage to react
We silently surrender to the ill wish
It may kill us from within to finish
Nothing changes except one’s own will
One can choose the way and go on to kill
Either it may be the core like thing or concept
We are not still live to reality and ready no accept
We have learnt to live with dubious distinction
We love and like the burning situation with friction
This can easily lead us to smooth passage for extinction
Let us not forget our own survival in question
No one can break the ice
If it is done then may certainly look nice
We are still left with nice fixtures
The world looks so lovely with bright future

My Heart Bleeds (98)
I fancy I can hear the sufferers moaning
The starving woman and the dying man
The malnourished children with the hunger blown pot bellies
My heart bleeds for the people of Sudan.
But these people they need far more than sympathy
They need food and care and medicine right away
They have eaten the seeds that they had to be planted
And hundreds die of hunger every day.
For life's small blessings I ought to be thankful
For I am one who doesn't have cause for moan
Compared to many I feel very privileged
The pangs of hunger I have never known.
One of my neighbours never stops complaining
He grumbles by life he is hard done by
But he looks overweight from over eating
And of malnutrition he will never die.
And another I know he tried to take his own life
Because his girlfriend left him he is in despair
I feel more pity for those dying of hunger
For a broken heart is not beyond repair.
In a Land ravaged by disease drought and hunger
To live to thirty years seen as a lengthy span
And my sympathy is with the starving millions
The hungry and the homeless of Sudan.
