Condolence message

Condolence Message

So shocking and disheartening news
We always admired and praised Raja ram’s views
My mentored and always adored veteran
It has added me great concern

I was surprised over his sudden disappearance
He may be with his son and absence hence
I regret sudden demise of his son and whole heartedly pray
Peace to his soul when he is on heavenly way

I always continue to hold the opinion
Son is always true friend and companion
It may hard loss to my great poet mentor
We are all helpless to the wishes of creator

May I share the grief in this critical hour?
Pray the almighty to strengthen your hands when things have turned sour
I feel the loss may have left unavoidable gap
'Let her soul may find suitable place in HIS lap?

For you to

We shall never forget
When whole world was let
To know the facts about human disaster
Meanwhile the dead bodies moved faster

I feel for those bereaved
Not a respite for to be heaved
The incidence was shocking and not to be believed
Not single news made us to be relieved

Thousands got vanished in second's time
Not a whisper was heard in little time
They were all gone forever
We were crying and grieving over

This is poem with sad feeling
Almost touching heart and killing
The inner most soul for tragic event
That caused losses to resent

Those killed were Mothers
Somebody's beloved fathers
Sisters and brothers as well
No one is left for us as witness to tell

We feel your absence
In true spirit and its essence
Tears rush to express grief and sorrow
We are unsure of tomorrow

We are concerned with not for our future
But the way you left us to endure
All the pain and grief for days to come
We pray almighty to open doors for you to welcome

Above and all we pray for all
Who indulge in senseless killing call?
Not to take any innocent soul
Even for the considered to be noble

Farewell General

Oh General why did you end your life
Why did you leave all the issues behind
I thought you have that strong will
Put your name out of shame and sin

Is this your way to end this war
Did you get tired of breaking the bar
Why did you just desert this battle field
And left all your men in grief

Seems that you lose the courage
Or you just want to free yourself
Didn’t mind if others might be wounded
Oh, can they win this fight in the end

I’m not a fan of you General
I have a little knowledge of you, man
But I can’t help myself wonder why
A person like you preferred to die

If you’re truly innocent of what they say
Didn’t you know God will be on your way
And as the saying goes “the truth shall prevail”
You will be free and enjoy the happy days

After the people heard this shocking news
They can’t hide their feelings and views
Some finally concluded, some are misjudged
Some questions are answered and others left unsaid

I hope this tragedy serves people a cost
Consider this a lesson and learn from this loss
Leave to the concern the seeking for truth
Let’s pray for them to be fair and true

And for you General, I have this prayer
May the Lord grant you His care
May He forgive you for what you did
May your soul rest in peace

I May Not Have Been A Great Poet

I MAY NOT HAVE BEEN A GREAT POET

I may not have been a great poet
Or even a good poet
Or even the poet I wanted to be.
But I am the poet I could be
The poet I am.
And may God have mercy on my soul,
And on all those I love.

Prayer Words

I took some of my prayer words back
I felt guilty for putting my interest at stake
Is that the correct logic or prayers are meant?
Will God listen to such request and relent?

I, for one, reserve the opinion
I may not get support from any of the companion
It may not find even favor
As prayers are restricted only to save honor

Why do I ask to fill my heart with mercy and kindness?
When I am fully blessed with happiness on y face
I still pretend to be ignorant before him and pray
As if He knows nothing and directs you a new way

Why do we pray for our happiness and others loss?
Is it not the insult to sacred place and holy cross?
I go to him with malicious intent
Instead ask for things and never regret or lament

Even one look in His eyes may send waves of sympathy
You may receive signals directly fro the almighty
You just read in the eyes and try to understand sufferings undergone
You will forget your own pain and stand like stone

Prayers are meant to purity soul and supplement it with more
Try to find out if something can still be explored
If you can’t feed the hungry and show little kindness
Don’t bother much but that thought itself will give happiness on face

Can we deny that he is only one to think of whole universe?
Who can go against His wish and negate verses?
It is all for us to follow and put into practice
Let it become daily routine till we face the demise

I just look at Him and seek no words
Ask him to allow me to go forward
I shall not regret for any outcome
His blessings will always be appreciated and welcomed

To unstick you, when your struck

The definition of a great

What is loss?

I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents

So what’s the fuss about loss?

Waiting!
Debating!
Contemplating!

What is loss?
Something you care about
Taken away from you by force
Creating total unforgivable chaos

Thinking!
Blinking!
Seeking!

What is loss
It is a minus instead of a plus
Hence the unmistakable fuss
Death and sickness build up great grief
Loss brings despair instead of relief
And in loss itself I have no belief

I resent
What loss represents
I resent
What great loss presents

Loss! An inequitable cause
Thrown on you without a toss
So you become very cross
Because in your life you realize, you are never the only boss!

A Poet's Song

~♥ ♥ ♥ ~

I have read
Works of great men and women
Simple poems and stories
I also have written
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

I love poetries
So too are stories
They are simple daisies
Filling my fantasies
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

It is my refuge
When in sorrow
My hopes and dreams
In my unknown tomorrow
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

I am a poetess
With the dream of sharing
And with my knowledge and skills
Tomorrow, my dreams I will be fulfilling
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

I and my works
May never be great
But I will never lose hope
In God, I place my faith
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

I will never surrender to failure
I shall never retire until I reach my goal
I will read and write literature
I will hear the cry of my hoping soul
This is the song of a poet
The song of my soul

0369 Prayer. To Mike, who asked.

Simplest prayer, soonest answered,
so it’s said; so let us be as little children
(themselves an answered prayer..?)
and ask the simplest questions -

how? whom to? for what? and will we get
what we are asking for? promise?
suppose He or She or It thinks, (if They think anyway..)
that’s it’s a silly thing to ask for,
or just a bit too ‘me’ and greedy,
will they say no? will they let us know
somehow, that’s it’s no?

or will our justice be
to get what we think we want
until the day we wish we hadn’t asked for it?
or is it like the tale of the three wishes,
everything turned to gold – including us! …
another wish, please cancel; then
the last and sensible small wish, which may even
include the welfare of all others too?

Some say the commonest of prayers
amounts to, please God, let two and two
please equal five…that prayers may only ask
what may be within the domain of the law
of our Creation; some even say that, given this,
we’ll always get what we wish for – eventually;
but that by some mighty, unalterable law,
as with the fairies gathered around
Sleeping Beauty’s cradle, as the Fates,
along with what we asked for, comes
a something else for which we didn’t ask…

others say that there’s no difference
between the meaning of a prayer, and praise;
that in our praise, our prayer is surely shaped
and those who do not think to praise
may never know, to whom to pray,
or ever truly know, for what…

and others of a theologic mind
pray to be taught, for what to pray…
or instead of prayer, to learn to willingly accept
all that befalls them, as the gift of all
that they might pray for, for their good of soul…

*

all this is for considering; but I suggest
that in the depths of grief, or heights of joy, we know
the place where prayer may arise:
so deep within ourselves, that it’s beyond
the asking or the answering; a place so deep
that there, our soul rests in peace,
all questions meet all answers,
and all desires are satisfied;
there is no loss,
and nothing lacks;
we are – ourselves; ourself; at peace;
and for that, we may surely pray.

On the Demise of Your Beloved Spouse…

Today, a suffering soul is free
From pain and strife of every kind;
God heard her prayers finally,
And freed her body, soul and mind!

The world doesn't know of your lady,
But you spent time and cared for her;
Today your world may look empty,
As your heart feels love lost forev'r!

A marriage is in heaven made;
What God had joined had long well stayed;
The love ‘midst spouses cannot fade,
As plans of God's are too well laid!

Now is the time to pray a lot
For your wife's soul to rest in peace;
In life, her war was quite well fought,
To free herself from her disease.

The separation means one thing:
‘Our earthly life will cease some day! '
The good times with her, you must sing,
And keep your grief and loss at bay.

All good or bad things see their end;
The good we do rescues our soul;
To God's decrees, we must all bend,
And in His ways, we play our role!

Though death is just a parting phase,
As we prepare to see God's face,
Let's do our duty to our race,
And find our way out of life's maze!

A much loved one is lost today;
The loss is great, leaving a void;
But with each one, God has His way;
We gotta live well in this world!

We got to live as per His code;
We must obey Him, young or old;
We must do all that God has told;
We must face death though weary, bold:
Like sheep with shepherd, join the fold!

Fondly dedicated to a doctor friend's
beloved wife's demise

May Your Sorrows All Be Gone

When luck decides to touch your soul
When someone gives you a hand to hold
An angel in disguise, knocks at your door
I'll be your friend and even more...
Dont feel remorse or let darkness engulf
We can never find answers to the above
I can promise you I'll be your friend
I 'll share your sorrows till the end
So let me help you cope with grief
With time you'll find some relief
May your sorrows all be gone
May you find peace and carry on...
May God give you the strength to bear
Inevitable loss...they need your prayers.

The Loss

The Loss

Heinous crime it was
My grandfather said; though
The loss was marginal for the owner.
A sunny morning. My father who
Rides roughshod to his office and
In the office over his subordinates.
Noticed the theft and turned red:
Mouthed curses which, were he a saint,
Would have burnt wherever
The thief was to ashes.
It was the brass nameplate
My father brought from Aligarh.
Now, fifty summers later another loss.
Neither my father who in his old age
Ruminates over his youthful days
Like a priest who savours the memory
Of the sumptuous food offered at the feast
Nor anyone else in the house grieves.
My grandfather (May his soul rest in peace)

What he would have said about the present loss
I cannot think. The loss is not tangible
But substantial. Not one object but many.
Delicate but strong enough to sustain
The name of the entire family. Sad it was
The thief was never identified. Not
Because he eluded but because
The investigators cared not to probe.
Was it a theft? No. Negligence? Maybe.
Wilful indifference, say the experienced elders.
For causes of loss let the wise quarrel
But the loss half-heartedly established
All went busy with their chores as if
The loss was nothing more than
A failure of the monsoon for the politician.
To me, nonetheless, it is a loss
Not easily retrievable as
Substitutes and replacements hard to find.
[For the loss is that of morals and values]

The Poet

The poet can only utter the word fine
The poet has to bear the sorrow and the sin.

The poet can only say I am happy
The poet can only say I feel no aches no pain
The poet can only say I am not in loss
The poet can only say I am in the side of only gain.

How Do I Pray?

Pray, pray
How do I pray?
Usually at the
end of my day.

Pray, pray
For what do I pray?
I pray for peace
in everyone's day.

Pray, pray
To whom do I pray?
To my soul giver
that's not far away.

Pray, pray
Why do I pray?
For if there's a heaven
maybe someday

The praying was worth it
and then I'll know
where those that don't pray
will have to stay.
And pray and pray
and pray all day.

The Iron Cross

THEY pass, with heavy eyes and hair,
Before the Christ upon the Cross,
The Nations, stricken with their loss,
And lifting faces of despair.
What is the prayer they pray to Him,
Christ Jesus on the Iron Cross?
The Christ, neglected, dark with moss,
Whose hands are pierced, whose face is grim.
Is it forgiveness for great sin
They plead before the Iron Cross?
Or for some gift of gold or dross?
Or battle lost, that they would win?
With eyes where hate and horror meet,
They pass before the Iron Cross,
The Cross, that ancient words emboss,
Where hangs the Christ with nail-pierced feet.
His hair is fallen on his face.
His head hangs sidewise from the Cross —
The Crucified, who knows all loss,
And had on Earth no resting place.
'O world of men,' he seems to say,
'Behold me on your Iron Cross!
To me why kneel and tell your loss?
Why kneel to me and weep and pray?
'Have I not taught you to forgive?
And bade you from my Iron Cross
Believe, and bear your grief and loss,
That after death you too may live?
'You have not followed at my call!
You keep me on this Iron Cross,
And pray me keep you from all loss,
And save and comfort you withal.—
'You ask for love, and hate the more! —
You keep me on this Iron Cross!—
Restore to me my greater loss,
The brotherhood of rich and poor.'
They pass, with weary eyes and hair,
Before the Christ upon the Cross —
The Nations, wailing of their loss,
And lifting faces of despair.

Forgive me Oh, almighty

My heart is filled with grief and pain
Tears rush in eyes for something to explain
The voice is choked as eyes refuse to believe
I just stay in silence for pain to relieve

I feel part of some heavenly body
This place has not been put by anybody
It is heavenly and appeals all to become noble
Serve the poor, pray the almighty and never crumble

Here is place where life was sacrificed
For sacred principles and upholding values as promised
Holiest of holy land from where prophet preached
Spread the message with utmost faith and searched

With first sight it generates divine feeling
Person may offer everything as willing
From a distance I have developed an emotional link
Something runs in veins when I pray and think

It is my first routine in the morning
Pray with joint hands and ask for condoning
For all mistakes and evil work done in day time
With open heart and clear mind to forgive as no crime

I am unable to hold more when face is covered with tears
It speaks of something which is difficult to bear
How could people be that disrespectful to the holy soul?
When disciples voluntarily gave up life for noble call

I could realize now why are we called mean animals?
Why we end up in tragedies with quick dismissals?
Why we face all consequences of bad nature
Yet don’t forget to inflict injury for others

I only know about the great sacrifice
The holy stand taken and laying down of life for promises
It makes me to cry and wish in all my humbleness
Oh God, grant me such strength and shine on face

It gives me enough of feeling from inner space to do worthwhile
To extend sincere wishes to all Muslim brethrens to think for while
The ideals and principles for which the traditional values are held
Be united in resolve and strength else the fate is going to be sealed

A Loss of Inner Peace.

A loss of inner peace,
as i hear the words come out,

A loss of words,
As i try to speak of it,

A loss of a love,
a love too great to convey,

But with this loss of inner peace,
I find an understanding of life.

Memory Of Me As A Poet,

memory of me as a poet,
My doleful soul need's the great memory of me as a poet,
The pure memory taught me of the spontaneous event's of life,
How creation gave me authority to reveal such a strong poetic verse,
I recited the poem in my mind only to realise the great motor memory,
But pure memory revealed all my past writing,
I can relive my past only by the memory of the great history,
Global memory took my mind to think of the great poet.

O Lord My God! - -Carl Boberg

O Lord my God!
When I in awesome wonder
consider all the worlds
Thy hands have made
I see the stars,
I hear the rolling thunder,
The power throughout the universe displayed

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the geltle breeze;

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing,
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in; -
That on the cross my burden gladly bearing,
He bled to take away my sin; -

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration
And there proclaim, My God, How great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
