A juvenile home

Why do they remain uncared for?
From where do they come from?
Why are they left at doors of juvenile home?
Who are to be considered accountable and be blamed?

The juvenile home is flooded with such children
They are left there to lead the strange life and barren
No doubt they are given proper care and treatment
It is blot on society and deserves condemnable comment

The love is blind but we are not aware of its consequences
There are many cruel attempts and has come out as instances
The homes are sometimes abused and children are put to shame
It is not only creating law and order from but has earned ill fame

Every day there is instances of child’s cry at door step
Helpless mother choose the early morning time for help
She has all the blessings for child but unable to retain
She has all the love but forced not to contain

Many countries have facilitated single mothers by law
They can lead honorable life and society too allow
Still their life is miserable and looked upon as shame
Men are roaming free and only ladies share the blame

They have still guts to stand alone and face the world
The society and people may not take them lightly and develop cold
They may face many odds much to their discomforts
They remain shamed all the times despite their best efforts

Somewhere we commit grave error and suffer
The male partner deserts and continues to differ
Under such circumstances the hell is let loose
You have no option left and unable to choose

It is with heavy heart that you leave new born
You are heavily over burdened and consciously torn
You may not want to leave the child at somebody’s mercy
You can do nothing at this stage except to feel pity

Juveniles homes are equipped tot tackle such issues
They make appeals and make periodical reviews
They too are blessed with public support to share the grief
Children get enough care and support and get good brief

The society has to share the burden and show the courage
They are future of the country and must be nicely managed
They may come out as good citizens or hard core criminals
Do we want to make them human beings or cruel animals?

Let us resolve to make it an ideal place to worship
The youngsters may commit the mistake for friendship
We are here to support such houses morally with all niceties
It has purpose behind and public utilities too

We have failed to care

As progressing society we have failed to care
The destitute and left over have no place to go anywhere
They have remained aloof and neglected
As fellow brethren we have never respected

They have expected no better treatment
Not good and sweet words with fine comments
Some caring words might have done miracle
They have no where to go other than their circle

We can blame only social structure
They have no secured future
It has remained so even after many centuries
For them there is no justice from juries

The orphanage receive unwelcome guests
The unwanted souls are left at the gates
Only little cry may invite some attention
This is only holy place for their retention

It is flooded day by day with no proper means
There is no proper care or even good meals
They might have to lead life which is barren
There is no love from any quarter even

What can we do to over come such state?
They can not be left to their fate
It is black spot on our social system
The evil comes out from the stem

Nice slogans are written for children
Their life is full of agony and very barren
What is their future in the hands unknown?
They are messenger of God and as such known

We do realize the shameless position for parents
It may be compulsion or very pressing event
They are put to compulsory shame
Else their might be ill fame with bad name

The state may take over the responsibility
Still it may lack amenities and basic facilities
Nothing may be made available for the paucity of funds
As no bright prospectus or future is seen as refund

Many countries have facilitated single mothers by law
They can lead honorable life and society too allow
Still their life is miserable and are looked upon as shame
Men are roaming free and only ladies share the blame

The ladies have enough of guts to face it alone
They can withstand any pressure and remain as lone
It may not be to their liking with discomforts
Despite making honest and hard efforts

The onus of ill system is not passed on to others
As result of grave error we always suffer
Even though the opinion may slightly differ
Still as the responsible society we have so much to offer

We may not have enough of choice
The orphan kids may have no say or voice
All kinds of hell prevails and is let loose
They have no better place to go or choose

It is not easy on the part of any human being
To leave the new born in wrapped cloth ring
Not sure of reaching it in the safe hands
Still it is haunting their mind with such trends

Even animal’s care better their new born
They may do everything to save them in turn
They will not leave it to the God’s mercy
We have nothing of this sort an d feel only pity

There is at least some refuge homes for children
They are immediately attended to and taken
Under safe custody for proper care and treatment
It is critical but very proud and honorable movement

Definitely A Mother

It was difficult situation for me to carry
Discharge all obligations and make them all merry
I had at once decided to go for begging
But the confidence was shaky and conscious legging

I could not decide to go for any other option
Survival was important and only the question
It was below dignity to go to some one and mention
About immediate plight to have some kind of food or ration

I may toil hard to meet two ends for their sake
As far as physical exertion is at stake!
I can over stretch and attempt for some relief
I felt this was not the time to cry over and express the grief

I find statues at cross roads with enough of illuminations
Mother asking for help helplessly with clear indication
It may be viewed by passers by as fine art piece
But how can those hands afford two pieces of bread with peace?

I decided not to go in for any kind of help
But fight it out my on own and step out
Day and night exertion may not kill a person
But build a confidence with strong reasons

My children are coming up with age
In no time they may be matured enough to manage
What is hard reality behind to face the world?
When children are safe in your shelter and fold

I feel all mothers come out and fairly fight
This is the time to challenge and make others to feel right
How can we see helpless ladies daily at important places?
With beggars bawl only to invite wrath with cruel abuse

I shall make it reality when get the chance to hold ground
Make it as firm bid and show to all that it really looks sound
No civilized society can make us to stand in helplessness
It is the shame that will make them to look down with faces

Mother and child are not be exhibited as an art in statue
They must be taken care of and heard with all its dues
If we consider the child as future of strong nation
This must be seen as an important factor in relation

Women Are Kind

Women are very kind and mild in nature
They are embodiment of love and keep us secured
Enough of tolerance power is rested with them
We are careless and they are the one to take care of us and frame

There are several instances reported about plight
Torture and cruelty committed on them with quarrel and fight
They remain helpless in the entire period and suffer
No one may side with them and at single point differ

Whatever may be their qualification and back ground
They prove weak in defense and helplessly found
Yet one can't escape the duty and responsibility
Their silence is taken as weakness and poor quality

Many brides are burnt alive for the want of material gain
Husband and entire family members make her to suffer with pain
If she has poor father and brought nothing in dowry
There are all chances and reason to lead to worry

Such cruel stories are repeated in every age
Poor woman fall prey and unable to manage
It is tough time for them to face and manage
Some of them come out successfully and write about courage

Gents to suffer in some of the cases
Life is made hell with al odds to face
Rules are such to put him to be disadvantageous
Their stories are circulated in print and make them famous

Life is meant to suffer if that runs in rough weather
We have to pull it under any circumstances together
Some difficulties may arise but it must be taken care of
Life should not be made impossible for others to see and laugh

Taken as curse

Being a girl in house, it is taken as curse
Even though it is misconception of course
The house wears deserted look as decadence of gloom
There is different story to tell with hiding of face in room

Parents may be worried more
There life may be later on very sore
How much in future they will have to bear?
The life may be burdened more with fears

The son is taken as future life line
He may look after well and feel them fine
He may be by the side when they dine
They will have no idea when will be sidelined?

Real maltreatment to girl child
Members look hostile and not remain mild
Male member cleared favored
Girl child scolded and bored

The facts remain entirely different
This fact is seen and very apparent
Girls do care more about family
The sons discard them very easily

Today girls have come off very strongly
They are praiseworthy and lead very happily
Today girls are no more curses
They stand for future with very good promises

No need to scream or make false alarm
Girls are equally conscious and very warm
They do and perform what is really expected
They must find place and positively responded

You should feel very proud
This can be reiterated or spoken very loud
Girls are heritage and spinning wheel
World can move on with strong will

They are strong pillars of society
No one should feel shame or pity
They are equally competent and responsive
Only they should not be harassed or made submissive

It is enough

It is enough and now no more
Life has become dull and bore
I make presence known by heaving snoring
Everybody in family complains early in the morning

I get tired by few steps walk
Tongue sticks as I am unable to talk
Mind is bogged down and unable to think
Memory goes off and on and I simply blink

Though I am not still being hated
But hear the words co related
I feel being very much neglected
Even though some thing short of being humiliated

It is not desired at the later stage
Everybody will have to face the old age
It will not be spent as easily
As the young age was spent merrily

All are nit lucky to be looked after well
We hear them saying “it is living hell”
You become useless within over night
All prophecy seems to prove very right

Hard luck for those who spend it with plight
Perception also sometimes may vary slight
Above and all there may prevail generation gap
You may be objected at every step

It will be some sort of insult
No one may bother or prefer you to consult
You are in another word a burden
The stage has come all of sudden

You are driven in the corner
You are spent force and nothing comes out from burner
Neither can you be utilized for any useful purpose
Nor can be neglected for any thought to suppose

If you left alone in this world without partner
Hell will be let loose on you later or sooner
You will not only counts last leg of years
But seconds, minutes and hours

We wish it should not happen with any one
As you will be looked after by none
No one may have kind views but only lip service
It may not be sufficient to render only advice

There is blow of wind in opposite direction
The aged people face hostility with reaction
The society as a whole can be blamed for inaction
But thanks to the old age homes for their sympathetic action

There is age gap, new concept and love loss too
It is known fact that everyone has to pass through
The same trauma, pain and anguish
The same would not have been dreamed by anybody as wish

The tears dropp from eyes as the same is not likely to end
The relatives too come and ask about welfare but keep quite as friend
No one may want to interfere in internal affairs
Even thought it is not considered as fair

The War Of The Children

The child abuse has been the war of the children
It is going on for too long in a world like this
The children is the victim of it
It is the children who suffers more each day
Stop the child abuse now
We want to put an end to this war
Make the public aware that this exists
Love the children with all your heart
Make the children feel worth
Make them feel special
Show them respect and let them respect you
Because respect and love is a two way thing
Respect the children wishes
Make this world a safe place for our children
Teach them to listened
Let them feel welcome in this world
Let the children live there lives
When you abuse the children
You break there hearts, you are destroying there dreams
And the respect they have for you is lost
What do you get when you abuse the children?
You get no satisfaction
The children have lost there sense of worth
They don’t feel special anymore
And they don’t feel safe anymore
The children know whom they can trust and whom they can’t
Help the children to grow in a safe environment
Feel there hearts with laughter and take there sadness away
Give them the support they need each day as they live there lives

The Plight of Children Today

What looks like play for child with just toy gun,
Is not something done entirely for fun;
For, nowadays, one finds children misused,
For various reasons, and also abused.

Some buds can’t blossom into flowers good,
And beautify the plants on which they lie;
Nor landscapes, gardens or a far-off wood-
For, they are nipped early, destined to die!

Oh, what a sorry state of children now!
The world denies them freedom, basic rights;
Neglected by parents, they pine for love;
Children are prey to society’s vice-bites!

Orphaned, famished, ravished, bare-bodied, some,
Just spend their lives in pavement beggary;
Although quite beautiful and quite handsome,
They lead a miserable life that’s scary.

Why blame these kids for stealing eatables?
What will they do when hunger pangs seize them?
What can they do if offered drugs for free?
What can they do when misled by adults?

When acts of violence, TV screens display,
When scenes of taking revenge catch their eyes,
When war of words are witnessed by young minds,
Will not more children fall in vice-filled dens?

Most children love to eat and sleep and play;
They’re unable to do these things today;
Weighed down by satchel-full of books to school,
Some play truant and make their parents, ‘fool’!

And children are the victims when comes war;
Misused as jockeys for camel-race;
For less pay, working with adults at par;
You see just children with fear on their face.

Gun-toting children in military dress,
They have no parents to love or caress;
They learn to fight and shoot under duress;
Some, homosexual victims, in harness!

Child is the father of man tomorrow;
Most children live in dangers and sorrow;
Some leave their homes, when young akin sparrows;
Some toil by pushing carts and wheel-barrows!

A very sad plight of children today!
Some have to slog at nights almost like day;
Some barely-fed, learn vices, come what may;
The modern world has not a thing to say?

After You Left

When some one departs from life very early
We remain quiet and peaceful internally
Think about old memory and his good side
And cry when unable to control it and hide

Such is the situation when husband is no more
The life becomes hell therefore
No one is there to take care and look after
Many worries about children as how to cater

If something is left behind as fortune
Then it is good and better than any none
But if left behind high and dry
Big question arises as to how to tackle and try?

You are and were together
He was your success and feather
You were trustful and till remained
With absolute integrity and maintained

No one remains here a day longer
When you have to leave despite being stronger
That is divine cycle and must be respected
More of pain and grief is sometimes not well reacted

Face the situation as it approaches in
It may stay for some period but won't remain
For the time longer than required
So it got to be accepted and admired

Infant Baby

Distant cry was heard from infant baby
Left at the door and seemed very hungry
Moving hands and legs in desperate try
As if to call for mummy without any cry

It was raining whole day and the night
Dark clouds were still hovering there right
Occasional thunder burst slightly frightened
The stairway was seen clear when clouds lightened

The dogs bark had nearly threatened
We rushed to the front door and hastened
The baby was wrapped up in dirty cloths
He was hardly breathing and feared death

What a pity to feel when child is left at mercy?
Beautiful flower just sent on earth by almighty?
To have freedom of life with fine and fresh air
What a treatment to be accorded and given as fair?

We were woken up with little and faint cry
New born baby was left on ground to lye
What would have been fate if was attached?
No one would have claimed later on or staked

It is noble work to take care of infants
Some times we run and manage without grants
Yet society is fully aware of their obligations
Many people adopt child and strengthen the relation

Humanity is still alive and new born are protected
Some compulsion might have forced on them to act
Even animals do not leave their new born at mercy
Keep guard and vigil all the time to keep under safety

We are sensible but sometimes behave inhuman
Why should we involve in such acts as man or woman?
Let new born take free air and live with mother
Let us not condemn act and take responsibility to solder

Even though such acts are on rise
It does not leave us with any more surprise
It is failure or savagery act when given promises
It should have been honored instead with such misses

Love Child

Tenement slum
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ah
You think that I don't feel love
But what I feel for you is real love
In other's eyes I see reflected
A hurt, scorned and rejected
Love child, never meant to be
Love child, born in poverty
Love child, never meant to be
Love child, take a look at me
I started my life in an old, cold run down tenement slum
My father left
He never even married mom
I shared the guilt my mama knew
So afraid that others knew I had no name
This love we're contemplating
Is worth the pain of waiting
We'll only end up hating
The child we maybe creating
Love child, never meant to be
Love child, scorned by society
Love child, always second best
Love child, different from the rest
Hold on
Hold on (Ooooooohhh)
I started school, in a worn, torn,
Dress that somebody threw out
I knew the way it felt, to always live in doubt
To be without the simple things
So afraid my friends would see the guilt in me
Don't think that I don't need you
Don't think I don't wanna please you
No child of mine 'll be bearing
The name of shame I've been wearing
Love child, never quite as good
Afraid
Ashamed
Misunderstood
But I'll always love you
I'll always love you
I'll always love you
I'll always love you
I'll always love you
I'll always love you
You-ooo-ooo
You-ooo-ooo
You-ooo-ooo

Parents Vs Children

Things that i don't understand in this world is that why do some people
get into relationship, getting married, enjoying life and making love.
But when it comes to children or when they already have kids, they
could not accept their responsibilities as parents. They do have
regrets of having kids especially if the kids are naughty, giving problem
or giving them headaches. They always beating, shouting, saying bad words to the kids saying wish you never exist, wish you never been born.
Instead of being calm, giving advice, doing good things which would make their children happy and be proud to have good parents.
Instead of thinking good ideas which would make them close to each other
.
Child is a child, they need more time with their parents. They need
attention, care, and love. Children are curious to everything, they need
to know antyhing as part of growing up. They need the guidance of
parents, but what I see nowadays is different. Parents just give material things to show their love for their kids.

Some parents just go out to parties, shopping, prefer to hang out with their friends rather than their kids. Then they just leave the children
to the nannies/babysitter.
Parents make their children be far from them instead children to get
close to the nannies who always there for them and give the love to the children. Parents must be a role model for the children, but what i see
now is that children do as what their parents do, they become more liberated.

There are also some parents who give up for their children. Some choose their own happiness, they don't like to stay at home with their kids. especially if thier husband dont have time for them too. the tendency, both couple would have a problem that result to divorce.
Where is the love that they shared? where is the promises and vows they had?

Reflection

The light that spills through the crack in the door
Illumines only her face
And my grandmother smiles
If only all of life was this easy
To only be a child forever
With nothing to care about
And nothing to lose

Every day in the schoolyard
There was kickball
Dodge ball
Hopscotch
Friends were many, we were all the same
And nobody ever cried
When mothers called us home

Be the best, they told us
Second place is never good enough
There is no second chance
Your life is what you make it
Make it better than mine
Make it more
Than you can be, and break your own stars.

The war of nineteen years, is everybody's battle
Survivors win a sheet of paper that says:
You are free; you can go;
Get away; run
And we lose everything you've ever made
Temporary friends
Provisional lives

And there were so many choices
And I didn't know what foot
To start on
And what foot would follow
And where the paths
Would
Lead me

I always had a dream
What if it never happens?
What if I never find
Me
Within my frantic
Ramblings along
The way

There would be no world left
If I never fell in love
What if I never
Get the chance to see
Them
And love them
And love me

Why do those kisses
Always seem so
Staccato
So ceaseless
And so
Very
Complete

Maybe sometime
I will have a child
Though it is not what
I would call a good time
To shove a watermelon
Through a
Straw

So many things to do
And there is never enough time
And every breath I take is closer
To the final draw
So many places
To leave
My proof of life

What I need?
Security
I can not
Be in wanting
In lacking
In greed
Or lust

I need to give everything I have
To them
My family
My parts of me
It would kill me to not be there
To see them live
The way I have yet to live

I am afraid of change
Everything I do I
Do the same
Every day
Is only
A mirror
Of the last

And every day
As I grow I learn
A little more about myself
And I know I need
More than myself
I must not
Be alone

I never want to be
Unable to be me
My child is still there
Somewhere down inside
If only
I was me
One last time

The light that spills through the crack in the door
Illumines only her face
If only all of life were this easy
Someday she will know
And I smile
At my beautiful granddaughter
Fulfilled

It Is You Not I Who Is Blind

I only see what I need to see,
That's why I don't feel fear,
The only thing I worry about is me,
I hear what I want to hear.

I speak only when I am spoken to,
You won't hear me express an opinion,
You will not see me do what others do,
I don't mind being classed as a minion.

I do what I want not what others dictate,
That keeps my mind in good stead,
This way I have only myself to placate.
Which means I can keep a clear head.

If there is trouble to be found,
I always look the opposite way,
I'll make sure I never stick around,
You won't see me if there's any affray.

Anything untoward I always avoid,
I'll make sure I was never there,
Evidence in my mind will be destroyed,
As for hassle I don't really care.

If I make a mistake no one will know,
It's a secret I will always hide,
You may well say my behaviour is low,
Whereas I'd say your attitude is snide.

Nobody to nag me into submission,
Everything I do is my choice,
No relationships creating nuclear fission,
I only need listen to my own voice.

Marriage and children I just don't need,
I hear you say that's selfish and cruel,
Being on my own there's only one mouth to feed,
While my wallet and bank account are full.

I have no worries about getting divorced,
Nor dragging a family through court,
While I live in peace it's you who'll be forced,
To leave home and pay child support.

I've never cared what others thought,
It's saved me from a whole load of strife,
This feeling of peace just can't be bought,
I am living a wonderful life.

I've never suffered any problems or woe,
With others I prefer not to mingle,
I've told you this story to let you all know,
There's merit in remaining single.

You may well say I've took the cowards way out,
But that never enters my mind,
My attitude to life leaves me in no doubt,

Enemy of mankind

Who is the enemy of the mankind?
Why do we act stupid and go blind?
Is that age old saying 'No daughters but only sons? '
They will come to support us in true in sense?

Grandma is no different so needs no condemnation
It is well known fact and needs no more explanation
Try hard to convince them with your positive action
They are no more today in this world to witness your reaction

Some of elder people may want first issue as baby boy
They want it as token of having living toy
Their emotions remain hidden at arrival of baby girl
They express nothing but face turn pale

Why do such things still exist much to our discomfort?
Why females still long for male issues and keep no rapport?
Even they want to have male dominant society for future
Who can make them understand for welfare and future?

Male or female child can have same bearing
Still we land ears to particular kind of hearing
Male child is given preference over baby girl
The mother tolerates all kind of abuses and retain when hurled

There is strong belief that the son only inherits the tale
The girl child goes away after marriage with a male
The son only remains behind to look after parents
He will inherit fortune without any comments

Many legal abortions take place every year
We believe in freedom but some developments we refuse to hear
Many unwanted deaths only because of female fetus
The whole theory goes wrong as such and thus

Do you find any good reason behind such carnage?
Are we not in position to sustain growth and manage?
Why such type of barbarism in new fashion?
Why no one is raising such important question?

I think God never intended or inspired any one
It is self styled decision or assumed by some one
You will never have blessings from almighty
It will be curse on us if we pursue and feel no pity

What crime they have dome for taking birth?
Why are pushing them early to the death?
What good can’t be done even if they survive?
We must subjective weigh the question and revive

The girls are top tankers and seen everywhere today
They are coming up in every field in their own way
They not only look after aged parents but serve also
All praise for them will be less as they deserve more

Rupa

I had heard her name whispered,

Among ladies of good 'culture',

In hushed tones it was said....

She was of easy morale! ! !

Often at social do's, She would be spite upon.

Away from all these, I wondered what she longed for?

Leaving alone a family of three, Husband, daughter and son of eight,

How could a mother set herself free?

At daybreak, didnt her heart ache, to see her baby's face?

Men may be from Mars, And a wife may get tired,

But a mother? Didnt her heart bleed,

At evenings, whenever she missed her daughter?

Oblivious to my musings, I heard she lives

In solitary confinement.

Away from prying eyes,

Nestled in her mothers care, with the love-child she had, by her lover!

Her lover, a man younger in years, had finally left her

.Its said, inspite of her husbands entreaties,

She had left, her home and children,

Privileges of a blessed life, she had forsaken............

But why? Why does a woman choose to defy?

Known to be a gentile woman, And yet today she is despised!

Does it ever cross her mind,

At what cost and why, did she buy this ignominy?

Happiness, future, power, positionShe left it all behind! ! ! !

I fail to gather, how and why Did she decide,

To throw it all awayFor a whimsical fanciful fly?

Unbeknown to her, I try to findThe frailities of a human-life,

That often tends to put us on our worst side.

But is it worth a try?

Is she happy, at peace with her love-child?

And the son-daughter she left behind?

They say for them she has all but died!

Will they ever understand, forgive her intrigue?

What she wanted and what she has, I know not,

Having never met her, i can hardly justify.

But Rupa, I do think of you, And of your travails too.

At times when I am at the end of my patience,

I close my eyes and remember you.

I have chosen silence, so have you.

And remain ignoramus, no matter whats said by who.

A woman needs...

What woman really does need in life?
Merely to stay in house as wife
Carry out normal activities throughout
Should know nothing what the life all about!

Suffer throughout the life with uncertainty
Voice muffled and no respect for purity
Used as object and authorized medium for nudity
Abused and shamed on the count of plurality

You can’t have any say or particular choice
Complete observance of silence with no noise
Do they have no right to surge ahead and poise?
Can any one clear their role and help to rise?

Right from the beginning she has all the restrictions to face
She is not encouraged to have active participation in any race
She may be adored in the people’s eyes but is that sufficient?
Is it not the simple excuse or termed it as proper and convenient?

We call our selves as civilized society and belong to liberal land
Still molestation, rape, murder and so on with conniving hands
No honorable treatment or public out cry against atrocity?
For name sake some good work just to show it as publicity

What does she expect from her lover at the first?
Is that simple gesture to accept her in good trust?
Should that remain as mere spoken words with no surety?
It is must and accepted as norms of civilized society

Women needs to be raised to an honorable status
There is nothing like addition or deletion with plus or minus
They have to be there by virtue of their being in whole set up
There should be no other option or any let up

They need reassurance with full commitment
There has to be full fledged action and no comments
It has to be our endeavor to grant them what they fully deserve
Think of a world and its condition if women properly not serve

The Corner Stone (For Father's Day)

The father is the source of strength of his family.
He can weather storm in order to protect them.
He will endure rain or shine to provide his love ones.
He is always ready to give his support and guidance all the time.
The father is consistent for his duty and love for the family.
He can move mountains and shy away the temptation.
He gives himself fully to his family with love and devotion.
Children who have a father to guide them are blessed from heaven.
A husband is a gift for his wife and siblings.
The fathers may look tough in the outside yet so soft inside.
His happiness is to see his family well provided.
He sacrifices his own needs for the sake of his family.
Fathers may mean sometimes but his heart is bleeding for his child.
Fathers are the makers of what we become.
Fathers are always there to lend a helping hand.
Fathers sometimes misunderstood of his wisdom not knowing the meaning.
Fathers are gifted to be strong and stable, firm and durable as the homes foundation.
The father is the source of life itself as we become a family.
A home with out a father can not be a family at all.
A child is lucky who have a father's love and care.
A mother is blessed to have her partner and companion in life.
A house is not a home with out the foundation.
A family is blissful when love abounds.
God bless the fathers that honor his love for his family.
And for whom who remain faithful in their vows of love and devotion.

Pora, Pora, Pora

Pora, Pora Pora is word used to say'Go off'

'Go off 'shouted a father of brave son,
'Here lay my son' I need no polson,
dare not to step in my courtyard?
Go, stay away and keep many yard,

Many brave officers laid their lives,
Just to defend and save husbands of wives,
jumped to death, cared not for life,
saved precious monument when situation not rife,

Whole country is mourning death,
Paying homage and offering wreath,
He may be buried in simple manner,
But not allow any who is more sinner

'TaJmahal' may loose status of heritage,
loose its pride because of sacrilege,
May not it stand in form of vintage,
lie in rubble, may remain only on page,

Politicians may come and also go
Country may burn but vote bank not forgo
old may go and replace by some one,
All may be different but stage only one,

Who will be axed and who will be taxed?
No change of scene, problem only waxed,
what a way of putting country to a shame,
Shame act not but whom do we blame,

Such was the outburst from a slain hero,
Top politicians tried to make him zero,
“I should have not visited” if he not soldier,
Let dog not visit home if not lost life on boarder,

Let country go to dogs and hell,
when others do fair and I share shell,
If no spoils or booty what do we share,
Then how do I feel? Not any better,

I should have my share and not care
Let that come from arms, ammunition or ware,
I care less and think no more,
I am politician and not simple whore,

People not remember and soon may forget,
We may talk more at the time of budget,
Inquiry may be held and publish in gazette
Guilty will be free and soon offered fete,

Ghosts may emerge from single window,
Buried will get up and not leave their shadow,
It will be very difficult to rebuild the country
But soon may be upheaval and also new entry.

Future of the Country

Tears in the eyes,
Fear on the face,
I often see children working,
Roads being there workplace.

Unwillingly doing work,
By the fear of being scolded
Or beaten by their employers
I see children working for bread.

Messy hair, torn clothes,
Children walking bare feet
And working really hard
Not caring about the rain or heat.

Children doing all sorts of jobs
Including selling and begging.
I have also seen children
Cleaning cars for an earning.

I feel sorry for them.
I feel it is very unfair,
That people make children work
When they should take their care.

Children are delicate,
We must care for them.
For every child in the world
Is as precious as a gem.

At least thinking about the country,
We must stop child labour.
We must stop burdening the children
As they are the country's future.

In Despair

What is the world coming to?
Though carrying weapons is taboo
Children are happy totting the gun,
Whether to settle scores or just for fun.

When did innocence get lost and things changed?
It some how seems shocking and strange.
Too much T V, films is the reason
Reason elders for this violence and aggression.

Isn’t there lack of communication?
This has had deeper ramifications.
The young yearn for someone to share
Their confusion, but no one has time to spare.

If you are not there when your child needs you,
You will be the last to know what he brews
When he turns to his peers
To share his angst and fears.

A child is born out of a moment of ecstasy,
It is sad then you become too busy
To teach your child right from wrong,
And make him morally strong

Did you consider the likelihood
Of sacrifices you’ll have to make for parenthood?
And teach him to stand his ground
And not be bullied by any hound.

It is time to figure out
How to bring a turnabout.
In order to sort out this mess
Everyone has to try to impress
That none is above the law.
We have to overcome our flaws,
So our kids do not go astray.
Good sense prevails, I hope and pray.
Its already late
Don’t leave their future to chance and fate.
