Widow

Lovely as the cloud and gently as the night,
And you wandered about seeking for love;
But like a widow gathering sticks,
Today is the day that you will find a lover so dear to your heart.

The signs up there have declared your name to me,
And like the muse of your love so sought out in the bush!
But lovely as the cloud, i have laid my bed so gently for you.

Love Me, Lovely

Lovely, lovely, did you see me
Just as I was crying
Love me lovely, make it easy
What I say is hard but I am trying
Lovely, lovely, can you hear me
Listen to my singing
Love me lovely, while youre near me
Try and understand the thought Im bringing
Last night I was sleeping
But I did not know if Id awaken today
Lie in my keeping, only know
That I cant stay after today
Im on my way - love me lovely
Love me lovely
Lovely, lovely, you cant fool me
I know that you need me
Love me, lovely, now and truly
Knowing that your love can only speed me
Dont say how it could be
Or Ill know that youll be crying today
Just how it should be I dont know
So this Ill say
Im on my way - love me lovely
Love me lovely
Last night I was sleeping
But I did not know if Id awaken today
Lie in my keeping, only know
That I cant stay after today
Im on my way - love me lovely

Voices From the Sky 9/11/01

So sad
So very, very sad
Those voices from the sky

So little time
So much to say, In those
Moments before they die

So few
So very, very few
The words that said goodbye

So far away
So very, very far away…
Yet heard…every whisper…every sigh

So many…
I love you's so many stifled cries
So many pauses…so many tear-filled eyes

So lovely
So very, very lovely
Those precious words from on high

So silent
So very, profoundly silent
After that last goodbye

Those last 'I love you's,
Tell the kids I love them too
We'll meet again… me and you'

Phones gently
So, so gently
Laid down and moved aside

So hard
So very, very hard to leave
Those voices from the sky

Gardens Season Of Dreams Alqaed/Burns (Cinquain)

OH.!
You tiny
dropp of dew
dampen its thirsty flowers
gently.

A
lovely face
in my memory
as delicate as a
doll.

Hair
so soft
to the touch
more smooth than finest
silk.

Eyes
so green
deep jade like
finest emeralds they would
fade.

When
you came
my blood danced
rivers of hot desires
flowed.

You
became my
body, face, death
my carnival of loving
words.

Be
a rain
falling gently in
the night of my
sleep.

You
will hear
my heart beats
calling out your lovely
name.

Leave
your hair
rest on my
chest, while you fall
asleep.

You
are my
home of love
the sparrow of my
dreams.

So
inhabit me
full of eagerness
I am the knight
seeking.

Deaver

Success comes to those who dare and act,
Love comes to those who wait and care,
But my mind to you is like the wind blowing behind you;
For true-love is never bought with money.
It only comes straight from the heart,
And i am like one in the belly of the fish;
And out of the abundance of my lovely heart to love you.
The mouth truly speak out words,
And a tree is known by its fruits;
And you are the only lover i know.
That which fell down from the table had been eaten by the dogs,
But let the trees of the forest clap their hands!
For you are called Deaver and your lovely muse is in the bush,
But the heavens are higher than the earth;
And my love will rest on you always.

Tell It To Your Heart

Tell it to your heart, oh tell it,
Through your melody that is so sweet,
Like sweet music, in the middle of night
Oh, tell it to your heart.

Tell it to your heart, oh that I knew,
That in my heart I won’t stop loving you,
I found you so lovely as fresh as new,
Oh, tell it to your heart.

Tell it to your heart, my dear,
My lovely dear, that in me you won’t dissappear,
Is like the air I breathe here and there,
Oh, tell it to your heart.

Tell it to your heart, oh, I love your way,
I love it more today than I loved it yesterday,
In my heart, there is a place I want you to stay,
Oh, tell it to your heart.

Saint Cloud

Soft spread the southern sumer night
Her veil of darksome blue;
Ten thousand stars combined to light
The terrace of Saint Cloud.

The evening breezes gently sigh'd,
Like breath of lover true,
Bewailing the deserted pride
And wreck of sweet Saint Cloud.

The drum's deep roll was heard afar,
The bugle wildly blew
Good-night to Hulan and Hussar
That garrison Saint Cloud.

The startled Naiads from the shade
With broken urns withdrew
And silenced was that proud cascade,
The glory of Saint Cloud.

We sate upon its steps of stone,
Nor could its silence rue
When waked, to music of our own,
The echoes of Saint Cloud.

Slow Seine might hear each lovely note
Fall light as summer dew
While through the moonless air they float
Prolong'd from fair Saint Cloud.

And sure a melody more sweet
His waters never knew,
Though music's self was wont to meet
With Princes at Saint Cloud.

Nor then, with more delighted ear,
The circle round her drew,
Than ours, when gather'd round to hear
Our songstress at Saint Cloud.

Few happy hours poor mortals pass-—
Then give those hours their due,
And rank among the foremost class
Our evenings at Saint Cloud.

His Axe

Go and tell it on the mountains,
Go and sing it to the woods,
And go and tell her to return to her lovely tent;
For the woodman is ready with his axe.

Why share your nakedness with many men around?
For i have heard your voice from the midst of the fire and,
I will come looking for you.

Go and tell your sweet lover to return to you,
For she's still with her widow's clothes;
And there are no harlots in this town.

Let her keep what she has from you and,
Let her learn from my muse always;
For i could not find her among the lot when,
The sun went down in the woods.

Of the staff in your hand and,
Of her widow's garments;
But i need a ram for the Passover sacrifice.

It is like a sheep for my lover and,
A ship for you to sail on to your lover;
For i have seen the fire and the wood but,
Where is the lamb for the burnt offerings?

Who is still making love with her?
Because you still want her back!
But the mountains are still waiting to remind you of your first date.

Oh, the intent and the thoughts of man's heart;
Do you still remember the first time you fell in love with her?
For i will go out looking for her early in the morning and,
We will meeet again in the land of love.

Isam

Kiss your girlfiend if you want to and,
Bath your husband if you like to;
For the 'pan' on the stove is like the 'nap' of your muse,
But be very wise to choose from the right things in life.

I will dance to your muse and i will jump over the fence for your love,
For my name is Isam and i know my way to your lovely home in the bush;
But be very wise to choose the right things in life.

There is 'spit' on the 'tips' of the pan but,
Why 'stab' the 'bats'? ! !
But try to learn from the 'tar' in your room to overcome the 'rat'.
The 'tip' of your pen is towards the 'pit'!
But the 'bus' moving along is like the 'sub' of your mind on this muse,
And like the lovely muse of your lover nearby.

Gently

(words & music by wizell - lisbona)
Gently your eyes met mine
Tender, trusting, true
Gently your hand took mine
Thrilled me through and through
Gently, oh so gently
Gentle as the dawn
Gently, oh so gently
Our true love was born
Gently your lips kissed mine
As we strolled along
Gently your heart touched mine
Young and warm and strong
Gently the hour is near
When true loves have to part
Gently well meet again
One more kiss, sweetheart

Its A Lovely Day Today

Its a lovely day today
So whatever youve got to do
Youve got a lovely day to do it in, thats true
And I hope whatever youve got to do
Is something that can be done by two
For Id really like to stay
Its a lovely day today
And whatever youve got to do
Id be so happy to be doing it with you
But if youve got something that must be done
And it can only be done by one
There is nothing more to say
Except its a lovely day for saying
Its a lovely day
[2]
Its a lovely day today
And whatever Ive got to do
Ive got a lovely day to do it in, thats true
But perhaps whatever Ive got to do
Is something that can be done by two
If it is then you could stay
Its a lovely day today
But youre probably busy too
So I suppose theres nothing we can do
For if youve got something that must be done
And it can only be done by one
There is nothing more to say
Except its a lovely day for saying
Its a lovely day
[3]
Its a lovely day today
If youve something that must get done
Now dont forget two heads are better than just one
And besides Im certain if you knew me
Youd find Im very good company
Wont you kindly let me stay?

After That Long And Lovely Night

after this long and lovely night
and the morning after
when we are dressed to the truths
of our beings

can i still look at you straight in the eye?
can i still call your name without shame?
can you look at me so gently
and touch my hands again and assure me
that that night
was still as lovely as truthfully as
we still are....

that it was done in the name of love
and that nothing there
was painful?

To Marry A Poet

The great seasgull is now in the sky! !
Fantasy;
But, you are at the seaside waiting for your lover because,
You want to marry a poet.

Arts and nature!
Love is in the air;
Because, everything around us are part of the beauty of nature! !
And like the sweet muse of love to educate the mind.

Imagination,
Life,
Peace and love;
But you are ready to learn from everybody and,
You want ot marry a poet!
And, this poem is for you my love.

How lovely is your heart?
How lovely is your muse?
How lovely is your mind?
For, the great seagull in now in the sky! !
And, you are at the seaside waiting for your lover because,
You want to marry a poet.

The Girl With Lovely Lips

So sweet of face was she to me, with eyes like sapphire stones!
Her voice a softened harmony, just like an angel owns...
Her song was music to my ears, a Spirit-filled embrace...
And I'll recall, throughout the years, a miracle took place!
In seconds, she had drawn me close - in minutes, I was hers.
How long I stared, God only knows, yet that's how love occurs!
Each chorus made my heart to melt, like sunshine warms the ice...
For deep inside, that's how I felt - because she looked so nice!
Her lips like garnets gently smiled, beneath her cheeks so pink -
Her countenance, so meek, so mild, I didn't want to blink!
To think, I didn't know her name, her age or her address,
Yet knew I'd never be the same or find such happiness!
I'll pray for her! May she be blessed! As blessed as I feel now!
Because, to me, she was the best God's mercy could allow...
If she were mine, my fingertips would reach to hold her hand...
I'd gently kiss her lovely lips and hope she'd understand.
Each lover knows this magic spell may fade away in time...
God bless her heart, for I can tell, she's lovely, sweet, sublime...

Cloud Nine[Doin Fine]

Darling part of my life it wasnt very pretty. see, I was born and raised
In the slums of the city.it was a 1 room shack and slept 10 other children
Beside me.we hardly had enough food or room to sleep. it was hard times. i
Needed some thing to ease my troubled mind.
Listen, my father didnt know the meaning of work. he disrespected mama and
Treated us like dirt.i left home seeking a job that I never did find.depressed
And down hearted I took to cloud nine.
Im doin fine, up here, on cloud nine. listen 1 more time, Im doin fine, up
Here, on cloud nine.
Folks down there tell me, they say give your self a chance son dont let life
Pass you by,but the world of reality is a rat race where only the strongly
Survive.its a dog-eat-dog world and that aint no lie. it aint even safe no
More, to walk the streets at night.
Im doin fine, on cloud nine.
Let me tell you about cloud nine. cloud nine, you can be what you want to
Be,(cloud nine)you aint got no responsibilities,and every man,every man is
Free (cloud nine) your a million miles from reality, reality I wanna say upper,
Higher,upper, up, up and away.
I wanna say I love the life I live, and Im gonna live the life I love, up here
On cloud nine.
I, i, i, i, i, Im riding high on cloud nine.
Your as free as a bird in flight, (cloud nine)theres
No difference between day and night (cloud nine)its a world of love and
Harmony, (cloud nine) your a million miles from reality,reality wonna say
Upper,higher,upper, up,up and away. cloud nine you can be what you wanna
Be,(cloud nine)you aint got no responsibilities,(cloud nine)every man and his
Mind is free,your a million miles from reality, you can be what you wanna be.
Im feelin fine on cloud nine.

Slim and Sleek

Lovely Castles,
In the night of love with the muse of your peace;
And like the beautiful cars parked around you,
But i need my freedom to be able to pay you a visit.

Slim and sleek,
And like the muse of your love;
But Rose was here yesterday with some roses as i was told!
And i promised to meet her once again because of your lovely Castles.

Speak Gently

Speak gently! -- It is better far
To rule by love, than fear --
Speak gently -- let not harsh words mar
The good we might do here!

Speak gently! -- Love doth whisper low
The vows that true hearts bind;
And gently Friendship's accents flow;
Affection's voice is kind.

Speak gently to the little child!
Its love be sure to gain;
Teach it in accents soft and mild: --
It may not long remain.

Speak gently to the young, for they
Will have enough to bear --
Pass through this life as best they may,
'T is full of anxious care!

Speak gently to the aged one,
Grieve not the care-worn heart;
The sands of life are nearly run,
Let such in peace depart!

Speak gently, kindly, to the poor;
Let no harsh tone be heard;
They have enough they must endure,
Without an unkind word!

Speak gently to the erring -- know,
They may have toiled in vain;
Perchance unkindness made them so;
Oh, win them back again!

Speak gently! -- He who gave his life
To bend man's stubborn will,
When elements were in fierce strife,
Said to them, 'Peace, be still.'

Speak gently! -- 't is a little thing
Dropped in the heart's deep well;
The good, the joy, which it may bring,
Eternity shall tell.

Life of a Cloud

Warming thermals whisper as they rise,
To tell us they are soon to bring to view
In cooler air aloft before your eyes:
A gentle wisp to counterpoint the blue.

Powder puffs emerge to grant her grace
That further bloom as would for stately tree, and
Yield a sight that calls for our embrace:
Another cloud anew above the lea.

Cruising forth, she yearns for ageless life.
O how her hopes will soon be dashed in vain,
For up there in the cold she courts her strife,
To fade away as drops of closing rain.

Scant and lacy speak her living span,
And fair among us could be brought to mourn,
But she was there to populate her clan:
From fallen tears, new daughters will be born.

O you, dear trees, you have learned so much of beauty

O you, dear trees, you have learned so much of beauty,
You must have studied this only the ages long!
Men have thought of God and laughter and duty.
And of love. And of song.
But you, dear trees, from your birth to your hour of dying,
Have cared for this one way only of being wise.
Lovely, lovely, lovely, the sapling sighing.
Lovely the dead tree lies.
