Ferris

Old and new wine is robbing my people of their senses,
And justice has become injustice to them;
For a poisonous weed is growing around them.
Ferris, i am as dark as the desert tents of Kedar!
But beautiful as the curtains of King Solomon's Palace! !
And my conduct had opened important frontiers for me.

Hymn 66

Christ the King at his table.

SS 1:2-5,12,13,17.

Let him embrace my soul, and prove
Mine interest in his heav'nly love;
The voice that tells me, "Thou art mine,"
Exceeds the blessings of the vine.

On thee th' anointing Spirit came,
And spreads the savor of thy name;
That oil of gladness and of grace
Draws virgin souls to meet thy face.

Jesus, allure me by thy charms,
My soul shall fly into thine arms!
Our wand'ring feet thy favors bring
To the fair chambers of the King.

[Wonder and pleasure tune our voice
To speak thy praises and our joys;
Our memory keeps this love of thine
Beyond the taste of richest wine.]

Though in ourselves deformed we are,
And black as Kedar's tents appear,
Yet, when we put thy beauties on,
Fair as the courts of Solomon.

[While at his table sits the King,
He loves to see us smile and sing;
Our graces are our best perfume,
And breathe like spikenard round the room.]

As myrrh new bleeding from the tree,
Such is a dying Christ to ine
And while he makes my soul his guest,
My bosom, Lord, shall be thy rest.

[No beams of cedar or of fir
Can with thy courts on earth compare;
And here we wait, until thy love
Raise us to nobler seats above.]

I Lose the Battle

I stand forlorn on the edge of the farm,
Where grow the young plants of deeds,
I see growing, springing the sown corn,
Amid the sticky poisonous trailing weeds.

Yellow sick, pale and frail is the crop,
But the weeds too healthy, too green,
They grow as the demonial desires do,
How should I weed, make the farm clean?

Though they are poisonous yet sweet,
More delicious than the daintier food,
That is why we deceive and we cheat,
And brood them, brood them brood.

To weed them I resolve again and again,
They ripen soon unguarded, unattended,
Without the sunshine and without the rain,
And at last I lose the battle unammended.

The Weed

There was an old woman
that planted a garden.
And in the garden
there grew a weed.
The weed grew next to
a beautiful flower.

The flower had grown
from a tiny seed.
The weed was strong
and would not bend.
The wind did blow
and it did send

the seeds from the flower
into the air.
They circled around
and landed where
the weed was growing
next to the flower.

Soon the weed was
surrounded by flowers.
It loved where it was
and looked by the hours
at all of the beautiful
colorful flowers.

The old woman who planted
the garden one day
decided that she would
make a bouquet.
She went to the garden
to cut the flowers.

But when she got there
down came the showers.
The raindrops that fell
made the weed shine
which made the old woman
change her mind.

She left them alone
in her garden and knew
that the weed belonged
with the flowers that grew.
She'd planted the flowers.
God planted the weed.

The garden was perfect.
No bouquet did she need.

Kebra Nagast – Ark of the Covenant

A new Mystery for Me:

The Ethiopian Queen known as Queen Makeda
came to visit King Solomon of Israel
we read in Chapter 25 of the ancient
Ethiopian Epic Kebra Nagast

King Solomon sent her home
with the gift of half his kingdom
carried through the night
as swift as an eagle in his flight

On Solomon’s secret Flying Machine
afterwards she gave birth to his son
known as King Menelik
who returned to King Solomon

In his Flying Aircraft
to carry off the Ark of the
Covenant to its final
resting place

The town of Axun that had been
founded by Noah’s grandson
so history came
full circle

And I can breathe again:
The Mystery is still
unsolved!

I want to

I want to tell you a story, And you can read about it some more,

About a wise king called Solomon, who had servants do e Rey chore;

One day he heard the Lord God of Israel talk to him and say,

Because you chose to be my child, and my words you do obey,

I have decided to give you a gift and you can decide which to choose,

You can become very rich, so money, or wisdom, which can you use?

Solomon thought long and hard, and decided wisdom was the best,

And so God said because you wasn't greedy you can have the rest.

Solomon soon found out wisdom he did receive, from the Lord,

When 2 women came fighting over one baby boy he had heard;

The mother of the one who died said its mine the child that's alive,

But the other mother whose one who lived no that's mine, she does lie.

They both argued so king Solomon said cut the baby in two,

Let them share half each, In the bible you'll see it's true;

The real mother said no give to her, please don't destroy the boy,

But the other mum just kept saying slice him, she thought it like a toy.

So king Solomon said give the child to the mother over there,

She is the real mother, she was protecting him, cause she doth care;

Only a real mother could show so much love, enough to give away,

Than let her child be destroyed, Wise Solomon knew what to say.

Yes! Solomon received money as well, but becoming rich went to his head,

When he built such beautiful buildings, he forgot God, and said t'was I. Instead;

The Moral of this story, is don't forget to say Thanks to God for everything,

Never think that you did it all, God has made. So Give Praises to God as you sing.

Picking right side

Why do we keep silence
And keeping silence means
Giving a chance to injustice
Ruled over justice.

Picking the right side
between justice and injustice

Pure Sincere Souls

oh how I do love
the truly beautiful...
people with pure
soft sincere souls...

ever loyal
ever faithful
a true friend

committed to
righteous purpose
moral code
religious belief
a true believer

aspiring arising
responding to injustice
perceiving righting
injustice wrongdoing

genuine
never insincere
artificial

unwavering honest
unaffected not feigned
motivations based
upon real emotions
truly deeply felt

straight talkers

giving unlimited love
giving insightful understanding
giving a never ending smile

what beautiful colours in such souls
what beautiful thoughts flowing forth

this is what true friends
beautiful people always give

but even the most beautiful people
are sometimes abused in this world
because not all have appreciation
such beautiful sincere aspirations

bad eggs born like to exploit
snare noble minds in their mire
expect evil to dwell on lower planes
expect evil to fester insurrection

the truly beautiful are ever pleasing
a warm vibrant embrace to the senses
composed of a pure unchanging music
a song that soars to embrace the heavens

Today... 'Greater than Solomon

Solomon with Christ the Lord could never compare
For none like my Lord Jesus can be found anywhere
Solomon's great wisdom and glory was renowned
But in Christ God's Wisdom and Glory can be found

The treasures of Solomon just faded away
But the vast riches of Jesus will always stay
Though wise and rich king Solomon turned out to be
Jesus Christ is so much more powerful than he.

Jesus my Lord and God is far beyond compare
And His glory with another He will not share
That is why the people on earth heard Him declare
That One greater than Solomon was standing there

Words Of Wisdom

King Solomon was not a fool
When to the Lord he prayed,
For he knew well the Golden Rule
And this had been obeyed...
Yet now a kingdom he must guide,
Regardless, rich or poor,
As long as God stood side-by-side,
He could not want for more...

King Solomon was just a man,
He did not know all things
And yet he knew God had a plan,
God was the King of Kings...
So while God offered him a gift,
He served the kingdom best
If he could stem the tragic rift
With God and all the rest...

King Solomon desired most
God's wisdom here on Earth,
Yet not to brag and not to boast
Or seek to prove his worth...
He asked for wisdom, nothing else,
Not treasures or long life,
For these he knew were short term spells
While men on Earth survive...

King Solomon had pleased the Lord
Who gave these gifts to him
And all God's wisdom was outpoured
To fill him to the brim...
Consider wisdom and take heed
This poetry you see,
The Holy Bible's there to read...
Begin at Calvary!

What we need to make our first and primary task is — and where our struggle ought to concentrate on — is upon ourselves. We have to cleanse our thoughts from hatred; different political views and religion are our blessings, we have to conduct them with love. Even if there are disagreements arising from our differences, we should side with justice rather than injustice and correct our moral lenses. Justice should be our main principle; love and respect for all human beings ought to be our moral compass. This is our eternal job that cannot be completed and a work that needs to be always performed. It is our lifelong assignment.

Carnival In Kenora

Twinkle, twinkle what a pity
All alone on such a pretty night
With enchantment on your side.
Popcorn, popcorn, cotton candy,
Soft voice whispers,
This can all be right
If youll come and share a ride.
Carnival in kenora!
I let him take me for a ride
On a giant ferris wheel.
Up in the neon sky
Or far from the barkers cry
One kiss can sometimes
Make you feel like a
Spinning ferris wheel.
All the tents are taken down now;
All thats left is scuffled ground now;
Still the magic echoes in the sand.
Popcorn, popcorn, cotton candy,
Now a stranger takes my hand,
We smile and the magic understands.
Carnival in kenora!
I let him take me for a ride
On a giant ferris wheel.
Up in the neon sky
Or far from the barkers cry
One kiss can sometimes
Make you feel like a
Spinning ferris wheel

Christian Paradox

The walls so beautiful in a luxurious palace,
In the vicinity where the center ground on the alter that sits the chalice,
Closed curtains cover the intention of malice,

The broken church a paradox indeed,
The beautiful palace of evil is all I can see,
In a sanctuary under white clouds of glee,
The house of God so evil but how can this be?

The curtains closed behind the alter the secret sealed shut,
Blind to the eyes of followers behind the curtains of smut,
Backstage sits the priest eating the fruit of disgust,
The desire of rape, the evil lust,

But so beautiful the vicinity the walls hovers around pews,
Where reconciliation transpire with the hope to renew,
A closer connection with “God” that everyone thought they knew,
Rape in the form of blackmail representing the hidden taboo,

The broken church crumbles in the form of the truth,
The reign of terror forever ends for the destruction of youth,
The transparent light beams down from the window where the blind can see through,
Terror stemmed from the vicinity of the church’s morals that remain untrue.

The Insane King!

Sorrows of the people
Thousand of thousand years
Give a poisonous pain
Just to lessen the sadness
I laughed, the laugh was loud
Before that I was very sane
Now I am a mad man.

Ha, ha, he, he, hi, hi
Is the sound my mouth produce.
People make fun
I don't react
As they are found
The blunt
The dullard
Dolling out dull
So I walk
Like a king insane
The owner of
The sun or moon
Not bothering any compassion
No longer caring the cruelties
As altogether they are the same

Heaved a relief of sigh
Looking at the sky
The clouds- my beautiful children
Enjoying the fruit of freedom
Playing with the sun
Hide and seek
In the kingdom of mine
No torture no bloodshed in war
No injustice no hegemony no fear
Love to all and hate for none
Kindness peace and progress
Spread the king's specter
No nepotism no corruption
No one is foe, no one too much dear
They are all the same all together.

I could save myself from this condition
If I was a vagabond
Totally stoic indifferent
But I had a heart very sensitive
And could not bear the grief
Just to lesson, I laughed, the laugh was loud
Before that I was very sane
Now I am a mad man.

I am the son of King Solomon

I am Raouf the son of Solomon the son of King David.
Inherited wisdom that grows, till my happiness faded!

Long time ago my father prayed for wisdom.
He didn’t know that later on I will be the victim.

Because in wisdom there is much sadness,
The light hurt my eye, longing for darkness.

And now I have seen all the miracles of life.
“Nothing worth” the fact the hurts like a knife

The price I have to pay for having a Royal blood
Seeing blind people around me who think that I am odd

I am Raouf the son of Solomon the son of King David.
The one who live in grief while people thought that he’s granted

Dark and Light

All around me Darkness rolls
No Light shines through as it unfolds
Just as if the King foretold
A palace of pain and not of gold

Listen to him I did not
Put no trust in those Dark thoughts
Dark and Light must have fought
This answer is not what we sought

A huge mistake we have made
We did just what the King forebade
We crawled into that deep, Dark cave
In this pain we're forced to bathe

A warning I must give to you
Down to Earth the demons flew

And the King of Dark and Light
Will come and steal your soul tonight

The Butterfly Weed

Oh lady bug, you've done a good deed.
Setting your table on the butterfly weed,
You're the custodian of all you survey,
On butterfly weed, till the end of the day.

Oh beautiful monarch, where do you feed,
I see you too love the butterfly weed.
You and the ladybug would be poor indeed,
If it was'nt for the butterfly weed.

Oh hummingbird whose throat seems to bleed,
What do you here on the butterfly weed?
All hummingbirds, good advice heed,
We love the orange butterfly weed.

God's smallest creatures, go by one creed,
To congregate on the butterfly weed.
Let the south wind blow, and spread your seed,
So that there will be millions of the butterfly weed.
