Sonnet- The Aging World
Our earth is going bald, losing its trees!
The people turning greyer as years pass;
Tornadoes come often; there is no breeze!
The old citizens forming larger mass.
Just as in politics, older men thrive!
Despite brain-atrophy, they think a lot;
Eccentric demeanor keeps them alive;
As some have turned into a mere zealot.
The world employs old men, paying them less,
And tries to suppress younger men, women;
The aged look better off nevertheless!
I wonder if the same is in Heaven.
And Geriatrics is much sought a field;
The world is bothered not about to its yield.

When Tornadoes Take Over The World
When tornadoes take over the world
There'll be no time for fretting
No fussing or complaining anymore
When tornadoes take over the world
You won't have your folks
To blame for all the stuff that's your fault
Your freinds will be swirling
Right above your disembodied head
When tornadoes take over the world
All the things in the fridge
That fell on the floor
Will dissapear
And all of your neighbors
Will be waving their flashlights at your house
Your friends will be swirling
Right above your disembodied head
When tornadoes take over the world.

Sonnet: Everything's a Mystery
Why the One God allows a few to thrive,
By sucking blood of poorer fellowmen?
And why the innocents are burnt alive?
How long it takes for justice from Heaven?
Yet, no one knows why things happen like this;
Our earth is turning uninhabitable;
And no one knows when comes our woes or bliss;
No government or leader looks stable.
And if the Sun doesn't come, all is a mess;
And if the Sun doesn't shine, it is still worse;
And when the breeze will come, no one can guess;
When God rewards or when comes Heaven's curse!
Aye, everything's a mystery on earth;
And what happens till death, after our birth?

Old Gold Veterans
Build a new ship in the shipyard of Mankind
That never sinks in the Seven Seas
And sail the ship with all the Veterans in an auspicious time
That heads to the land of Hermits
Where there are no any wars at all.
* Almost Heaven!
Life is older there
Older than the trees
Younger than the Mountains
Growing like a breeze.

God, Bless You
'God, bless you' and how are you?
Posed a direct question what I knew about 'Thou'
'No simply not 'never I tried,
'So is the problem' and she cried,
I am at the age of fifty one,
Look after nobody and care no one,
Up the sky and down the earth,
Still I hope there could be someone,
'Why so pessimist and no good faith'
I asked when visibly moved
”Still I have to take more breath,
Gone are gone and left with some years,
But still I may hold no more tears”,
Still I am young but not so aged,
left with no thought but feel caged,
Honour still not lost and damaged,
Prestige not over and still have salvaged,
Have two sons younger and older,
younger is childish and older so wiser,
Older saves more and do a good job,
Younger plays merry and make big rob,
Kid’s stay with me but no more money,
Younger still do nothing and spend on honey,
Still I do make, no such grievance,
Guide him to a path for san extravagance
'Are we on same path' asked old lady,
'No, not the same' but 'yes' to it,
have no problem and plenty just to eat,
'Oh, God, ” allow me a candle just to lit,
I was just not taken a back,
life was just full of pack,
fire before face and well just back,
I will not show and issues rack.

What Men Need To Know About Women
She will not be looking at you when the food arrives
She will not be looking at you in the midst of children
She will not be aware of you if there is a cat, or dog
She does not love you past three years but loves the idea of you.
She is not romantic past 25.
She does not care as much about how you look past 25. Other things come to matter more.
She talks to her friends more than you.
You like doing it, she likes foreplay.
Your choice is just for now, she is thinking, after 30, about forever
She is thinking she has allowed you to capture her.
Women choose you, not the other way around.
You are not as handsome as Ben Franklin past 45.
If she is not the star you are the villain
Learn to go blind after 45
Young women don't know how to make love, older women do
Younger men don't know how to make love, older men do.
There is no truth that can't be clouded by memory.
She remembers everything. You don't.
You fear losing your hair, women fear losing their beauty and their bodies.
The way to a woman's heart is through the restaurant menu and the beautiful house and affection.
Women talk, you don't
Women are smarter than you outside the office
Women are smarter than you in the home
Ok, you are smarter at work.
The secret of romance is her being attracted to you and you doing nothing to mess that up.
If you think sex is the key to making women fall in love with you, you'd be better off betting on chocolate-the odds are better.
Learn to like women, things work out better that way.

If Wise Women Led Governments
If wise women led Governments it would seem to me
We would not hear of wars and less talk of poverty
For war would become extinct and poverty would be on the decrease
And we would be on our way to a lasting World peace,
The women in Governments play the games of men
To cause division for them is a sure way to win
Support for their power base by their spreading of fear
Of those seen to be different positive things from them we don't hear,
Though no shortage of wise women in the big world out there
Wise women in politics for to say the least rare
Perhaps only cynical women in politics can hope to survive
In a game where negativity and cynicism is very much alive
And if wise women led Governments there would not be wars and terrorism and less of poverty
And far more compassion and understanding that leads to harmony.

A Man For The Ladies
He was the young dad of the sixties he is the old man of today
Married and divorced for the third time that's life as some are known to say
He is seven times a great grandfather one might say his flock multiply
And he is not yet finished with women he says he will give marriage at least one more try,
He is now with one twenty years younger a divorcees of forty one
At the wooing of far younger women he surely is second to none
Some women like their men much older for the father figure they do fall
When it comes to understanding people I know that I know little at all
He was sixty one on his last birthday with brown hair dye he covers his gray
And when it comes to dress and appearance attention to detail he pay
one might say a man for the ladies at wooing them he has known success
His chat up lines seem to be flawless all of the right buttons he seems to press
Yes surely a man for the ladies younger women fall for him in a big way
Yet in love he likes a new challenge and with one he does not seem to stay.

Wonderful World
(d. fletcher / m. flett)
This is a wonderful day
Its as bright as a days ever been
There is a big yellow sun looking down
On a wonderful scene
Up in the blue sky birds fly
And sing our cares away
And out of each throat each note
Greets a wonderful day
There is the sound of a symphony
Carried along on the breeze
Even the flowers are swaying in time
With the leaves on the trees
Heaven is found right here on the earth
It surrounds us in the wonderful things all around
In this wonderful wonderful
Wonderful wonderful world
This is a wonderful day
Its as bright as a days ever been
There is a big yellow sun looking down
On a wonderful scene
Heaven is found right here on the earth
It surrounds us in the wonderful things all around
In this wonderful wonderful
Wonderful wonderful world
Wonderful world, this wonderful world
Wonderful world, this wonderful world
Wonderful world, this wonderful world

Self-denial....
when old age visits
actually you do not immediately detect its presence
somehow you love to deny
its inevitability
you keep yourself busy and
focus on the strengths
and flexibility of youth
until you finally find it
sitting beside you
and both of you are drunk
making merry
trying to forget the numbers
as the wrinkles
become visible
spreading all over your
body
your skin losing the luster
turning into
a waistline larger
than what you think
and you look at yourself in the mirror
oh God
what an oversized shirt
what a lousy pair of pants
you cannot even recognize
that the bald man
in front of you
is really you but thanks God
you were given
the bonus of
these unearned years

Aged.
The aged.
Shuffling, snuffling ruffling.
Like leaves fallen from a tree.
Losing their colour
Gradually.
Washed up like memories
That float in the bay.
Grey.
The aged.
Young at heart
But their house is dilapidated.
Falling apart,
Decor not anticipated,
When they were 21.
Laughing in the sun.
Done.
The aged.
Wheezing, freezing seizing
From head to toe.
And waiting is so slow.
Burning candle low.
Awaiting one last blow.
Creaking,
Leaking.
The family turning away.
Ships pass in the night,
Never stay.
You're not drowning,
You're waving goodbye.
Sigh.
The aged,
That rage in silence.
Evaporate.
As the embers
Die in the grate.
Their cry
This world cannot hear.
They wait with toes curled in fear.
But-
Love soothes their soul.
As the Lord takes control.
And they roll
With the tide of the air.
In the light
That had sprung from nowhere.
On the promise
Of long ago prayer.
So prepare.

I Was Made To Feel Different In My Younger Years
I remember sitting in the corners of shadows.
Wishing to be invisible,
After making attempts to disappear.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
My voice was deep at the age of twelve.
And my knees knocked.
I was aware I walked pigeon toed.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
People were quick to critique me then.
When they would laugh at me.
I laughed right back at them to hide and cry alone.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
I grew wiser before I aged.
And years it would take for me to learn to forgive.
But I did with a doing successfully.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
Perceptive, empathetic and sometimes distant.
Removed from anguish I knew others felt.
Yet today I might sit with periodic embitterness.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
I've learned to use my talents and gifts,
To lift me beyond any loneliness that visited.
And with slow and painful steps I grew to improve.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
And when I self examine to reflect...
So happy I am to have held on to my patience,
With a giving to others a respect regardless...
If little of it was shown to me,
When I was growing to bloom.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
Hungering then to be accepted.
I was made to feel different in my younger years.
Hungering then not to be neglected.

My Childhood World Was Once The Only World
My childhood world was once the only world
Years later when it exists only in my memory
It has become one of many worlds the Jewish people have known
In their long journey-
Its idiom and characters its look and its feel
Its small dreams and distinct languages
Are gone-
All I thought once the whole of the real world
Is only a small part of what has gone on far longer than it
And all these worlds together too
Are not the whole of the universe –
Yet my memory of this world makes it larger and larger
And for me still it is in the center of space and time –
One day soon when I am gone
No one will know it as I have-
Some traces of it will remain in the minds of other witnesses
And when they are gone
This world too will have only a remnant of it
Remaining as words.

10,000 Years For Each Earth Citizen
the earth has enough years
to give every of its citizens
10,000 years or more
to live alone on the planet
and as many more years
left over for every animal to enjoy
the whole planet on its own
the earth is a kind old man
lost in arithmetics
with too many of its citizens
lost in impatience
they squeeze the earth
into a little time box
suffocate it with inventions
and willingly lead it
down the road of destructions
the earth has enough years
to give every of its citizens
10,000 years or more
to live alone on the planet

Ocean Of Fraternity Vavroovahana Patra
World peace comes through Ocean of Fraternity;
People on Earth live with Delight.
Women as Deities live delightfully;
Girls pass on the path gaily.
Fraternity enhances love affection;
Earth smiles with peace, beauteous is creation.
Hindus, Muslims, Christians pass on the same way;
Brotherly love pervades providing gay.
Innocent women in solitude roam freely;
Vergins smile, play gaily.
Women endowed with garland of Jasmines roam delightfully;
Lovers enchant gaily.
Fraternity is the key to success on world’s economical path;
People working unanimously live with mirth.
Fraternity repels enemity;
In a world of peace Earth smiles with delight.
Brothers unitedly progress the family;
Members of family live gaily.
Fraternity lies in sacrifice;
All the people of Earth live with Divine Bliss.

Citizens
citizens...
of America, of Russia,
of Africa, of China,
of Syria, of Israel,
of France, of Italy....
no more!
citizens of the world!
no longer can one country
make it at the expense
of all others....
the walls between us were lies,
and they have fallen....
now we are a people
whose homeland is family!
there's no other way
humanity can survive!
citizens of the world!

A Gift
Im just a gift to the women of this world
Im just a gift to the women of this world
Responsibility sits so hard on my shoulder
Like a good wine, Im better as I grow older, and now -
- Im just a gift to the women of this world
Im just a gift to the women of this world
Im just a gift to the women of this world
Its hard to settle for second best
After youve had me, you know that youve had the best
And now you know that -
- Im just a gift to the women of this world
(Im just a gift to the women of this world)
(Im just a gift to the women of this world)
Responsibility sits hard on my shoulder
Like a good wine, Im better as I get older, and now -
- Im just a gift to the women of this world
You know that Im just a gift to the women of this world
Just a gift now
(Im just a gift to the women of this world)
(Im just a gift to the women of this world)
(Im just a gift to the women of this world)
(Im just a gift to the women of this world, just now)
(Im just a gift to the women of this world, just a gift)
(Im just a gift to the women of this world)
Im just a gift to the women of this world
Im just a gift to the women of this world

Bonzo Goes To Bitberg
You've got to pick up the pieces C'mon, sort your trash
You better pull yourself back together Maybe you've got too much cash
Better call, call the law When you gonna turn yourself in? Yeah
You're a politician Don't become one of Hitler's children
Bonzo goes to bitburg then goes out for a cup of tea
As I watched it on TV somehow it really bothered me
Drank in all the bars in town for an extended foreign policy
Pick up the pieces
My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down
My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down
Shouldn't wish you happiness, wish her the very best Fifty thousand dollar dress
Shaking hands with your highness See through you like cellophane
You watch the world complain, but you do it anyway Who am I, am I to say
Bonzo goes to bitburg then goes out for a cup of tea
As I watched it on TV somehow it really bothered me
Drank in all the bars in town for an extended foreign policy
Pick up the pieces
My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down
My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down
If there's one thing that makes me sick It's when someone tries to hide behind politics
I wish that time could go by fast Somehow they manage to make it last
My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down
My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down
My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down
My brain is hanging upside down I need something to slow me down

Ben apfelgarten
There was a certain gentleman, Ben Apfelgarten called,
Who lived way off in Germany a many years ago,
And he was very fortunate in being very bald
And so was very happy he was so.
He warbled all the day
Such songs as only they
Who are very, very circumspect and very happy may;
The people wondered why,
As the years went gliding by,
They never heard him once complain or even heave a sigh!
The women of the province fell in love with genial Ben,
Till (may be you can fancy it) the dickens was to pay
Among the callow students and the sober-minded men--
With the women-folk a-cuttin' up that way!
Why, they gave him turbans red
To adorn his hairless head,
And knitted jaunty nightcaps to protect him when abed!
In vain the rest demurred--
Not a single chiding word
Those ladies deigned to tolerate--remonstrance was absurd!
Things finally got into such a very dreadful way
That the others (oh, how artful) formed the politic design
To send him to the reichstag; so, one dull November day,
They elected him a member from the Rhine!
Then the other members said:
"Gott im Himmel! what a head!"
But they marvelled when his speeches they listened to or read;
And presently they cried:
"There must be heaps inside
Of the smooth and shiny cranium his constituents deride!"
Well, when at last he up 'nd died--long past his ninetieth year--
The strangest and the most lugubrious funeral he had,
For women came in multitudes to weep upon his bier--
The men all wond'ring why on earth the women had gone mad!
And this wonderment increased
Till the sympathetic priest
Inquired of those same ladies: "Why this fuss about deceased?"
Whereupon were they appalled,
For, as one, those women squalled:
"We doted on deceased for being bald--bald--bald!"
He was bald because his genius burnt that shock of hair away
Which, elsewise, clogs one's keenness and activity of mind;
And (barring present company, of course) I'm free to say
That, after all, it's intellect that captures womankind.
At any rate, since then
(With a precedent in Ben),
The women-folk have been in love with us bald-headed men!
