Puzzling
Calendar with days marked off…
Final day checked…
in blood-red ink marker mean
Then… no more marks…of any sort
The calendar antiseptically… cryptically clean…
Time seemingly now, no longer of import
What was coming, so anticipated…(Or dreaded) …
That the days after… the anointed day
Seemed of no consequence imbedded
Calendar yellowed and tattered
As if time no longer existed…
To a person… like you or me
And to whom days… no longer mattered
Then…Now…and for eternity

Sometimes There Is Goo And No Gah
Love is not all goo and gah.
Sometimes there is goo and no gah,
And lots of...
Ugh! Geeessshhh.
Especially that day when one awakens,
To look at a calendar.
Not any calendar!
The one the days have been checked off.
With a little note as a reminder...
'I survived.
How many more of these,
'For Better or For Worse' days I've got to deal with? '
But hang in there.
Some folks are just in it for the wedding ceremony.
After that...
Many more are looking for something else to do.
And finding someone else to do it with too!
~I thought you said you were divorced? ~
And...
Your point is what?
Don't let my youthful glow...
Trouble free lifestyle and happiness fool you.
I have had those days when I overcook my scrambled eggs.
Seriously.
And just the other day,
I abruptly had to end listening to my favorite music.
I ran out of Green Tea.
And I was just at the store.

I have been looking forward to this age of my life for a long time. In my twenties, I marked the days on the calendar - I was sick of playing high-school kids.

I value the friend who for me finds time on his calendar, but I cherish the friend who for me does not consult his calendar.

My Calendar
From off my calendar today
A leaf I tear;
So swiftly passes smiling May
Without a care.
And now the gentleness of June
Will fleetly fly
And I will greet the glamour moon
Of lush July.
Beloved months so soon to pass,
Alas, I see
The slim sand silvering the glass
Of Time for me;
As bodingly midwinter woe
I wait with rue,
Oh how I grudge the days to go!
They are so few.
A Calendar's a gayful thing
To grace a room;
And though with joy of life I sing,
With secret gloom
I add this merry month of May
To eighty past,
Thinking each page I tear away
May be my last.

Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Whatever is given.
And however that is meant.
Why do many get upset,
When they receive exactly...
What to them has been sent!
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Why is it believed,
By some.
What they do that has been done,
Is okay?
And an acceptance of it,
Should be kept that way.
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Too many people are the 'cause'.
And not the solution to prevent.
Or a pause that should be long taken,
With no attention given spent.
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Some have established themselves as 'saints'.
While others full of themselves,
Do not have to eliminate a single thing...
To emanate fumes from them that 'stink'.
And/or past tense from them that 'stank'!
Whatever is the preference.
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
With their quick judgements to pass.
Like fresh air blocking gas.
A picture alone,
Paints a thousand words.
Days to Dazzle In Pretensions No Longer Exist
Whatever is given.
And however that is meant.
Why do many get upset,
When they receive exactly...
What to them has been sent!
As intended upon the return ot it.

My 2005 calendar we actually did a shoot in Lake Las Vegas. Since I had requests do some swimwear and athletic shots we tried them and they came out good so we inserted them into the new calendar.

September Quandary
Thirty days does have September,
But there's one thing I don't remember.
What happened to those eight other months?
I know I must appear a dunce, but…
All this time couldn't pass me by I don't believe,
While I celebrated last year's New Year's Eve.
Then before I could make it to New Year's Day,
Exactly 243 days of this year have passed away.
Never again will this calendar inhibit my sight.
People and experiences will be focused delight.

Don't be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of.

Today is an ephemeral ghost... A strange amazing day that comes only once every four years. For the rest of the time it does not "exist." In mundane terms, it marks a "leap" in time, when the calendar is adjusted to make up for extra seconds accumulated over the preceding three years due to the rotation of the earth. A day of temporal tune up! But this day holds another secret—it contains one of those truly rare moments of delightful transience and light uncertainty that only exist on the razor edge of things, along a buzzing plane of quantum probability... A day of unlocked potential. Will you or won't you? Should you or shouldn't you? Use this day to do something daring, extraordinary and unlike yourself. Take a chance and shape a different pattern in your personal cloud of probability!

Youth In Embers
My mirror is troubled, tired of lying to me
My youth is gone, life torn and tattered no longer to be
Like quenching flames that dance suffocating in the rain
Just the agony, pain and regrets of past years reflect again
Is there a way I thought to throw my ashen cloak
And start my life anew under different clock
Yet the flames of my youth shall never leap and burn
Time flows on me so cruelly with no return
So many winters have besieged my life, quizzes out of grace
And dug deep trenches in my face
My skin is dying, dry, dots and spots, brittle and blasted away
Youth proud of lusty days, against now deep-sunken eyes of decay
For years I stopped birthdays and calendar count to tell my time
As the brave day sinks into a hideous foul night
I watch the shy violet behind a rock that year by year renews its prime
My youth in embers, like ashes all bleak white
The Days Go By
THE DAYS GO BY
The days go by
The years-
I am here now
As if there will always be time
For them to go by-
But they are going by
And I am not stopping them
They are going by-
They are not asking me-
One day in one of them
I will no longer be here-
The days will go by without me.

22,000 Days
Even tho I know its only
Me and my dreams
That drive me so let me go please
Let me go onto tomorrow
One day at a time
Now I know the only foe is time
22,000 days, 22,000 days its not alot,
Its all you got 22,000 days
22,000 nights, 22,000 nights, its all you know
So start the show and this time
Feel the flow and get it right
Now the time when I first saw you is over and gone
Then I knew my life with you would go on
Knowing you so much longer
Ive change in mind change for you
You have changed to mine
22,000 days, 22,000 days its not alot,
Its all you got 22,000 days
22,000 nights, 22,000 nights, its all you know
So start the show and this time
Feel the flow and get it right
Everybody knows, it always shows
Wasting times an aggravation
Got no time for confrontation
You want to take a lot
By love by law or stealth
Times the only real wealth you have got
Even tho I know its only me and my dreams
That drive me so let me go please
Let me go onto tomorrow
One day at a time
Now I know the only foe is time
22,000 days, 22,000 days its not alot,
Its all you got 22,000 days
22,000 nights, 22,000 nights, its all you know

22,000 days, 22,000 days its not alot,
Its all you got 22,000 days
22,000 nights, 22,000 nights, its all you know
So start the show 22,000 ways

O Dear, Till We Meet Again
My love, the time is near
For us to see each other.
All I want in this world
Is to see you once more.
There are many things
I want to tell you.
I know the stories
Will touch you.
Yes, I feel nervous
But I'm excited
For our love will be united
And soon I'll hold you in my arms.
I'm counting the days
Of the calendar on my fingers.
I know I'll burst into tears,
When December comes.
On 21st of December this year,
Cold and snowy climate,
I'm coming home.
Just sit back and relax, O dear
Till we meet again.

Invention
Tonight the moon is a cracker,
with a bite out of it
floating in the night,
and in a week or so
according to the calendar
it will probably look
like a silver football,
and nine, maybe ten days ago
it reminded me of a thin bright claw.
But eventually --
by the end of the month,
I reckon --
it will waste away
to nothing,
nothing but stars in the sky,
and I will have a few nights
to myself,
a little time to rest my jittery pen.

Its Not Too Much / Well Be Everywhere
When the candles dim
Pull the curtains up and close your eyes
Go to sleep
Let the moonlight fill the bed all night
Wont matter how
It wont matter what or when or why
Just lay in bed
Let the moonlight fill the bed all night
If you come back in its place
Can we forgive and forget mistakes weve made
Just hold on now
Well be everywhere
Can we just pretend
That the moon has turned and slipped away
Measure time
With the calendar or months and days
Its not too much
Maybe its just a little bit naive
Its always born
After what weve done and all we say
If you come back in its place
Can we forgive and forget mistakes weve made
Well be back again with a ?
Left its offspring on the line ?
Well be everywhere its all ?
Its all come back.. we remember...?
Can we just pretend
Youre the one that turned and slipped away
Measure time
With the calendar or months and days
Its not too much
Maybe just a little bit naive
Its always born
After what weve done and all we say
If you come back in its place can we forgive and forget mistakes weve made
Just hold on now well be everywhere
Hope its not too much (well be everywhere)
Maybe its just a little bit naive (well be everywhere)...

You Are No Longer There!
I no longer hold you like I held you
When I held you...
I no longer want to...in my mind.
I no longer see you like I see you
When I saw you...
I no longer do that, with my time!
Lemonade kisses I licked we onced shared,
I don't even want them anymore...I'm full!
I no longer miss you like I missed you
When missing you...
It's no longer an issue to be defined!
Too messy...
'I no longer love you? ' Bring myself to love you?
Could you bring me peace of mind instead of puzzles
Of your pain...again? That pain...AGAIN? ..NO! '
I no longer hold you like I held you...
Enfolded holding you,
I no longer want to...in my mind!
I no longer see you,
Like I saw you when we met!
I no longer do that...
You're no longer there!
And I have no regrets!

How Much Longer
I'm stuck
Inside
Can't get this done wish I could hide
This scene is really such a pain
I just
Can't see
How this is any use to me
This work is drivin' me insane
All I really want is to get away (can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
It's on
My mind
I think I'm runnin out of time
This weight is more than I can take
That clock
Is slow
It's never gonna let me go
This time I need more than just a break
All I really want is to get away (can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
And here I go again (and here I go again)
Wondering when (when)
I can have my time to play
(Can anybody tell me)
(Can anybody, can anybody tell me)
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can play that game
How much longer
Till I'm done
How much longer
Wanna feel the sun
How much longer
I can't wait
How much longer until I can
How much longer until I can play that game
(I want to play that game)
Play that game
(I want to play that game)

Once Upon A Time
Meeting you in the park and talking in the pouring rain
(oh what a time we had)
Running home in the dark and pretending it was all a game
(oh what a time)
Those were the days, those were the days
Memories of you have really left a scar
And all that I can do now is to love you from afar
cos everything was fine
That once upon a time
Asking you if youd stay, not believing that you might
(oh what a time we had)
Missing you through the day, dreaming of you through the night
(oh what a time)
Those were the days, those were the days
Though theres no denying that youre nowhere around
I cant help myself from looking for your face amongst the crowd
cos everything was fine, that once upon a time
Have to leave the past behind me and get on the right track
Though theres nothing I can say that will ever bring you back
But everything was fine, that once upon a time
I wish I knew for how much longer this misery will last
Cant control these feelings, Im still living in the past
cos everything was fine, that once upon a time
Ive got to build my life again, try to find somebody new
But I know inside my heart of hearts therell be no replacing you
But everything was fine, that once upon a time
