An Order of Decay.

The morning sings a song of sadness
As the chaos of the day becomes an order of decay.
Each second loosing prestige unto the next
Each future deluding itself to mimic the past.
Look – Stare into the looking glass
What do you see? Aging skin, smoked yellow teeth
You’ve grown fat on whiskey boy.
Still, it is no sin to swim the waters of indulgence.

All senses overwhelmed,
From chaotic earth the vine has stemmed
We are left suckling pigs
Dancing Dionysian rhythms in mountain top abodes.
Here below the crimson sky
We erect our temple within the movement of the dance.
Demented glares abstracting stars
Receiving transmitions – evolving within transmutations.

To Gold! To gold! The secret told.
Forever young and never old.
Come dance the dance divine
Come be suckling upon the vine.

dance the river is there to rise
dance touch me and close your eyes
dance the winds will touch your feet
just dance and dance feel the beat

dance the river will find its mouth
dance east and west north and south
dance the river will find my lips
dance the poles to move my hips

dance the bees are dancing hives

dance the waves are breaking through

Eyes, dark grey lenses frightened of the sun.

Trying so hard to keep up with the joneses
Running a rat racing won by our noses
Always put one foot in front of the other

Just buy a brand new pair of fred astaire shoes
Climbing to the top, never gonna stop

A silent sound to others but us:
a song in melodic fashion.
Cast our shadows on the wall,
for they shall never age.

The stars as our audience,

You Cant Dance

He man, Ive seen ya, think ya rockin it on the floor...
You look like a moron! who let you in the door?
To put the question bluntly: maybe your feets deformed.
They should slap you in the teeth when you put your dancing shoes on.
You cant dance!
Why dont you just nail your feet to the floor?
Homeboy, whats the use?
Anytime you wanna step aside a party,
First think of an excuse.
You dance like a fat old lady
Not sayin that fat old ladies aint nice,
But every time you try to get one move right.
The old lady then did it twice.
You cant dance!
Youve been a dancing disco disaster,
The worst I ever saw.
They should dropkick you on the neck
And drag you off the floor.
In every discotheque, I see you there
In the middle of the crowd,
Looking like you got eight or nine left feet dragging all around.
You cant dance!
Take my advice, dont move!
Youll never get the knack.
If I danced like you Id sneak out the party
And wouldnt be coming back.
On the floor youre a dinosaur, yeah boy, thats how you move.
You look like ralph cramden(? ) or a donald duck cartoon.
