Dark Fate
The metallic taste still lingers in my mouth
the dark crimson liquid stains my lips
the little i have the more i want
as i look into your eyes that are dark endless pits
i see a slight smile on your face
you slowly whisper in my ear
'togather we are one, we are immortal'
i look down to see what i have done
your wrisit is now darkly coloured in the crimson colour
this is our dark fate, now and forever

Fifty years of marbeles
Pulled from our jars
One by one
Shared with the love of each other
We've watched as the years melted away
Oh how it seemed like only yesterday
When things were all brand new
Now after these fifty years

Are meant for us to renew

Father's Son
And no one or nothing can take this away
And Ive bottled up all of this pain
And Ive bundled up all of these things inside
And wonders what if that was my little girl walkin down that road alone
He thinks about that little girl and the one he has at home
Its been a month since her saw her face underneath the blood stained gown
He chokes that bottle down
In the haze of a smoky room
Never again
But I wont let it happen again
And no one or nothing can take this away
And Ive bottled up all of this pain
And Ive bundled up all of these fears inside
And I swear I didnt know
That things like this could happen to a 17-year old
I swear I didnt want to

Life was better in black and white
Long before they invented color tv
Most people knew right from wrong
A sense of togatherness that made a family strong

My darling!
Your mother has threatened
To stab me in the eye
With a needle!
Your uncles would not
Talk to me when I met them
Somebody said she saw
