In The Ground
I went to where you lay today
Stood there staring at the groud
Seems like only yesterday
You were still around
Funny how the years of pasted
Since are last kiss
Now just tears are found
Someday we'll be togather again
When I too am in the ground

Staring At The Ground
Im staring at the ground
Im bloodless, thrown away from the sun
Whats lost cannot be found
I cant return your tears
If I ever live to be a thousand years
Im staring at the ground
I never wished you a broken heart
Coincidence put you down
He wont withdraw those tears
If you ever lived to be a thousand years
What do I have to say to make you stay?
What do I have to do to make you happy?
Im staring at the ground
I wish I could bring the spring to your door
To the coldest side of town
I carry your wounded dreams
Like the devils deeds in the pocket of my jeans
What do I have to say to make you stay?
What do I have to do to make you happy?

Days And Nights Remembered
Those are the days
We will always remember
The nights
We can never forget
I thought we would
Grow old togather
But the day
I walked away
Is the day
I will never forget
Looking back on what
We had togather
To what I have today
Oh how I wish
I could go back
To make all these
Lonely years go away

Staring At The Sun
No one heard you say your prayers ... for love
No one ever seemed to care ... for you
Blind as you run
Aware
You were staring at the sun
Always someones favorite fool ... playing
Games that theyd invent for you ... losing
Your heart and soul
Aware
Theres no way you can repair yourself
Your fragile face reflects
Years of neglect
Love for so long denied
Dies in your eyes
And so you kiss and give
Your heart away
Far from the start
You knew
There was something out of view
Like a burning spear of stars ... falling
You dissolve the night in tears ... so tired
Blinded you run
Aware
You were staring at the sun
Youve given it all away
No more prayers today
You got a homeless heart
Thats tearing you apart
You couldnt feel more cold
Inside your secret soul
You never found no one
You were staring at the sun
(staring at the sun)
(staring at the sun)

Today is better than Yesterday
Yesterday
Yesterday, I was running with to feet
Yesterday, I was playing with kids
Yesterday, I was kicking the ball
Yesterday, I had it all, all was mine.
Yesterday, I was growing well,
Yesterday, I had it all undercover
Yesterday was my day
Yesterday, my days were
Yesterday, I had a lover, ‘true lover’
Yesterday, promises were made
Yesterday, promises were not kept
Yesterday, I was happy.
Yesterday, I gave him everything
Yesterday, I sacrificed everything
Yesterday, I was a fool
Yesterday, I was dying
Today
Today, I am lying in bed
Today, I am watching hopeless kids
Today, I can hardly move
Today, everything is falling
Today, I am dying in bed
Today, it is all wrong
Today, is not my day
Today, my days are not
Today, I have no one
Today, promises are broken
Today, promises are not
Today, I have no hope
Today, I long for myself
Today, I cry over spilled milk
Today, I am wise
Today, I live
Whatever happened yesterday is not
Whatever was, is not
Whatever was broken can be fixed
Whatever wound are, can be healed
Just need the Perfect Healer
Jesus I know you are! ! !

Eyes Hers And Mine
I look into my eyes
Beautiful kohl lined
Sad eyes,
Shiny with tears.
Tears unshed,
Tears controlled,
Tears saved from
Yesterday,
Possibly today.
I look deeper
Beyond the shine of those tears.
I see my soul,
Her eyes a reflection
Of mine.
Beautiful kohl lined,
Sad eyes.
In them,
I see the same wait
Which I see in mine.
I see the same pain
Which I feel in mine.
Tears unshed,
Tears controlled,
Tears saved from yesterday,
Possibly from today.
Her loneliness,
A bigger cry than mine.
But, something sets her apart,
There exists a difference,
There exists a spark,
Which I guess is missing in mine.
I see in her eyes
The spark called
"Hope"
A wish called
"tomorrow".
The determination
She will someday find
What she sought
Yet could not find
Yesterday,
Possibly will not find
Even today.
But tommorow
Will be the day
She will no longer need to cry
The tears unshed
Tears controlled,
Tears saved from yesterday
Possibly today.-anjali

Above Ground
Underground Im waiting
Just below the crowded avenue
Watching red lights fading out of you
Oh the air feels heavy
Everything just passes by
And I think that Im a little shy
Meet me outside above ground
Ill see you on your way
Ill be with you someday, someday
Drawing lines above my head
But the fan keeps spinning over me
Just my toughs to keep me company
Now I know Im ready
For the night into a glass
And I sip it slow to make it last
Meet me outside above ground
Ill see you on your way
Ill be with you someday, someday
Meet me outside above ground
Ill see you on your way
Ill be with you someday
Ill be with you someday
Ill be with you someday
Ill be with you someday

Maybe Today
Maybe today
Maybe tomorrow
Maybe someday
Things shall be any different
Than they are today
Maybe today the moon shall smile
Maybe today the world will dance
To the music and rhythm of yesterday’s drums
Maybe today our visions will rise to its Zenith
Maybe today we shall walk on the wire of our purest imaginations
Maybe today is all we have to become the architects of our fate
Maybe today is the perfect time to make peace
Maybe today is the best day chosen to forgive and let go
Maybe today is the time to be better people than we were yesterday
Maybe today is the best day to say ”AM SORRY”
Maybe today is the day to climb the highest mountain of purpose.
Who knows what tomorrow has in store?

afraid if i don't let go then i'm going to lose everyone i love and i don't what that
i need help out of the pasted and in to the future
so how do i come in to the future after being so long in my pasted?

Today; Tomorrow
Today
It’s been five years since I have heard your voice.
Today
It’s been five years since I have heard your laugh.
Today
It’s been five years since I have seen your smile.
Today
Is the saddest day for me.
Today
I still remember like it was yesterday.
Today
I feel numb just like how I felt five years ago.
Today
I can still remember how I ran and didn’t want to stop.
Today
I still feel the emptiness of knowing I won’t ever see you again.
Today
I try and smile for you knowing that you are watching over me.
Today
I let my tears roll down slowly down my cheeks.
Today
I remember how you were so happy to be home.
Today
I still know that you didn’t have to suffer no more.
Today
I still try hard not to blame myself why you left my world.
Today
I sit here and remember the memories I have of you.
But tomorrow
I will still smile for you.

Yesterday/Today
Yesterday, I walked
Today, I run.
Yesterday, I fell
Today, I soar.
Yesterday, I frowned
Today, I smile.
Yesterday, I forgot
Today, I remember.
Yesterday, I wondered
Today, I know.
Yesterday, I dreamt that Today i would

Generations Of Nations
I watched tears fall from the sky
as they fell to the ground
a thousand tears
I seen her cry
as she washed away
a time that keeps changing
and it's changed you and me
still she never made a sound
Another hundred years
will soon pass on by
and generations of nations
will soon come to a fall
as we lose it all
The coming of a new dawn
brings in a different day
what was lost today
can never be found
you turn around
all you knew will be gone
So you hide in your mind
memories of yesterday
open doors to find
a world you can't rewind
when love was at peace
and two hearts beat as one

Funny things Tears
The other day
I woke up feeling low
I tried not to think about you
to stop the inevitable tears that threatened to fall.
Funny things tears, they linger yet do not fall.
That night I got angry
as I walked fron the bus stop to my home
My mood slowly dissipated into sadness
I felt the bloody tears linger
am guessing they showed because some ladies looked at me
gossiped and actually stood to stare
Funny thing tears are, they know no shame.
Yesterday I drunk myself into a stupor
because I couldnt bear the thoughts
the happy memories, the questions.
I smoked because I wanted to burn away my pain
my loneliness, my intense craving to end it all
Funny things tears, they come when you least expect them
Last night I hated you
Hated my intense stupid love for you
Hated that my life was blank without you
I went running, jogging to absolve the pain
to numb myself, but pain is stubborn
I ran for miles but still felt that swift flash.
Funny things tears, they burn.
Today I woke up
ignoring my phone I tried to resist it
to resist the urge to call you,
But I did,
Lunch, drinks, kisses more promises
apologies more excuses
smiling, laughing, forgetting
Funny thing love it forgets the tears easily.
Tonight I sleep soundly
But Tomnmorow I work and the cycle begins.
Funny things tears sometimes they cleanse you.

You Aint In It
Some folks said I was getting well
But through the tears I couldnt tell
I could not see past yesterday
Cause your memory stood there in my way
A lonely mind plays funny tricks
Works on things that cant be fixed
Its bound to dwell on what you miss
Like a midnight touch or a morning kiss
Chorus
Its still hard to face a day if you aint in it
But I had to draw the line, a million tears
Is a mans limit
No, I dont expect your memory to let me
Ever forget it
But once in a while I live through a minute
And you aint in it
It didnt take a clock to alarm me
I was always up, Id never sleep
Scared to death Id dream of you
Thats moren I wanted to put my old
Heart through
A big dark cloud followed me around
Didnt dare look up or Id have drowned
Thought you took that sun with you
But today my curtain let a little peep slip through
Chorus

Today - the Yesterday of Tomorrow
today is the yesterday
of tomorrow
today is also the tomorrow
of yesterday
yesterday was the today
of the then tomorrow
tomorrow which is the now today
is the tomorrow of yesterday
what is yesterday's yesterday?
what is the today of today?
what will be the tomorrow of tomorrow?
yesterday made today
today is creating tomorrow
the now today will be the
yesterday of the incoming tomorrow
and that tomorrow will become today
but tomorrow is yet unknown
for there is no today without yesterday
and no yesterday without today
but tomorrow will be unknown

Someday Soon
Someday soon, someday soon.
Seasons were made for the change.
You will be there.
Just like the night to the day without a care.
The dark goes before the dawn.
Open up your eyes.
Someday soon
Ooo, therell be a better day.
And someday soon,
Yes, its not too far away.
Someday soon
Oo yeah, with open skies,
And someday soon.
All we can do is try.
The coloudest day comes around,
You will be there.
All of the feelins youve found, without a care.
So my friends, you take a look.
Dont you look too far.
Someday soon
Oo yeah, with open skies,
And someday soon.
All we can do is try.
Someday, someday, someday soon,
Someday, someday soon
Someday, someday soon
Someday soon
Someday soon
Someday soon

Someday At Christmas
Someday at christmas men wont be boys
Playing with bombs like kids play with toys
One warm december our hearts will see
A world where men are free
Someday at christmas therell be no wars
When we have learned what christmas is for
When we have found what lifes really worth
Therell be peace on earth
Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at christmastime
Someday at christmas well see a man
No hungry children, no empty hand
One happy morning people will share
Our world where people care
Someday at christmas therell be no tears
All men are equal and no men have fears
One shinning moment my heart ran away
From our world today
Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at christmastime
Someday at christmas man will not fail
Take hope because your love will prevail
Someday a new world that we can start
With hope in every heart
Someday all our dreams will come to be
Someday in a world where men are free
Maybe not in time for you and me
But someday at christmastime
Someday at christmastime

Past, preasnt, future
Someday in the future you will die
Someday in the future you will cry
Someday
Tomorrow you will live
Tomorrow you will be one with those around you
Tomorrow
Today you will meet a new face
Today you will save somebodys life
Today
Yesterday you watched someone die
Yesterday you watched a life begin
Yesterday
Everyday all the time you do the things you don't know you do
Everyday you show the world a new part of humanity
Everyday
Past, preasnt, and future are always happening
Past, preasnt, and future will never stop comeing
Past, preasnt, future
Eternity your soul will live
Eternity you will be yourself

That Day
The day i fear most, that specific day which will dawn upon my soul, that oneday - For you maybe someday, i have today, tomorrow will be the next day - The day after yesterday becomes today, the one i fear - Never is my forever, today i am forgiven for yesterday - Today i ask forgiveness for tomorrow - I know my horrors of days, terrific does not flow with terror in my blood - I do not bat in blind, i see the signs - as you feel your age by time

Vapors of Yesterday
Yesterday we were enemies
Today we are friends
Yesterday you said you loved me
Today marks the end
Of two souls which were once intertwined
Like a ball of yarn unrolled now lies undefined
Yesterday we were children
Today we are growing old
Yesterday we were warm
Today we are as cold
As the many dreams that we left frozen in time
Of all the frightful nightmares, some were benign
Yesterday was a blessing
Today is a curse
Yesterday was forever
Today is the first
Moment that we have to read the guiding signs
Through vapors of tomorrow, breathe in and unwind
