Whitewashed Tombs
Whitewashed tombs He called them
Who appeared all pure outside
Those sly religious leaders
Corrupted and filled with Pride.
He knew their vicious schemes
And the venom in their hearts,
We find them here it seems
Still active in these parts.
My country is full of such
Vile Hypocrites displaying
Deceptive games that touch
The unwise who keep believing.
Jesus hated Hypocrisy
Those cunning masks of Pretense
Sinners must have true Honesty
Repent for their sin offense.

Religiously Intolerant
Some people say that I am religiously intolerant and narrow minded,
This will change when Jesus comes and they all become hind sighted.
Although they too have eyes they have been blinded and can not see,
The narrow truth of God's only Gospel, so that they too can believe.
Christ said “I am the way and the truth and the life”, it wasn't me,
Jesus then continued “No one comes to the Father except through me”.
I am intolerant however of falsehood peddled in the name of religion,
While these teachers allow their followers to carry on a life of sin.
And I'm not alone and it's not religion, but Jesus Christ is my lead,
As I read about how Christ dealt with those who caused Him to bleed.
For their religious zeal without knowledge, a future darkness looms,
As Christ rebuked their hypocrisy by calling them whitewashed tombs.
For Christ being the very nature of Eternal God from the very start,
Could see through their external lies right into their wicked hearts.
And because of their unbelief and their arrogant religious overtones,
That Jesus told all the Pharisees they were full of dead men's bones.
For Christ knew it was by His own people that He would be rejected,
But, there were many who believed and by Christ they were accepted.
And on the cross as He said forgive them, they know not what they do,
God's Grace and Salvation was opened up to Gentiles like me and you.

Vicious Games
I never knew
How much I loved you
I never knew
How much I cared
So I played
Vicious games, vicious games
With different names, different names
Vicious games, vicious games
With different names, different names
I was afraid
To go under
Afraid to see
When I closed my eyes
Vicious games, vicious games
With different names, different names
Vicious games, vicious games
With different names, different names
I never knew
How much I loved you
I never knew
How much I care
I just played
Vicious games, vicious games
With different names, different names
Vicious games, vicious games
With different names, different names
Now that youre gone
And you have left me
I had to learn
I had to learn how much it hurts
To play those vicious games
Vicious games, vicious games
Different names, different names
Vicious games, vicious games

Sacrilegious Fury Rising
Blasphemy has failed for religious
fervour which empowered blasphemy
has faded rendering all shockingly
provocative words mere caricatures
of past offense damning exclamations
furious curse is feared now only when
curser is strong rabidly dangerous in
derangement vile awesome obscenities
hold rage power threatened promise of
painfully impending flesh punishment.
Ever the real power behind blasphemy
evil still blasphemes against true holy
powers with all impassioned vehemency
cursed dispossessed angel venom imbues
evil more cunning less obviously evident
unbelievable in age of excused scientific
ignorance yet Satan ranges howls banished
cast from heaven for evil words are like
hideous snakes slithering into corrupted
orifices of souls bound in personalized hell.

The Broad and The Narrow
When Christ started The Church He made things quite simple and clear,
However many are following Religious Leaders into ambiguity I fear.
Christ came to give us freedom through the Cross-of Salvation,
However many are following Religious Leaders on roads of damnation.
Christ told the early disciples of only one road in which to follow,
But today Religious Leaders try to make His words vain and hollow.
The only road is a narrow one, and you enter through a narrow gate,
This Truth is despised by Religious Leaders, who proclaim it is hate.
While very few find this road that leads to the only Resurrection,
A broader road is being paved by Religious Leaders to destruction.
It’s easy to get on this road through a wide gate and many are on it,
Being lead by Religious Leaders who Christ warned are false prophets.
They come to you in sheep’s clothing and appear to be pure and good,
But inwardly these Religious Leaders are darkened ferocious wolves.
In the end many will abandon the faith to follow hypocritical liars,
Lead by Religious Leaders with morals that were seared with an iron.
When you stand before The Lord, it’s only His words you will hear,
You can follow these Religious Leaders or The Lord with Holy Fear.
Will He say “Away from me” as you chose to be wicked and irreverent?
Or will you hear Him say, “Well done My fine and faithful servant”?

Babylonian Spirit
Today we see the Babylonian Vine, with intoxicating spiritual wine,
Seducing many religious hearts, as from The Truth a soul departs,
From God’s Truth and Foundation, that Cornerstone for Salvation,
Through their religious experience, which is lacking Biblical Sense.
All Truth is found in Christ alone, The Foundation and Cornerstone,
The Only Way, Truth and Life, is found alone through Jesus Christ;
Christ alone is The Narrow Way, opposing the ways we find today,
With many being led astray, on what Christ called the broader way.
Many who are “enlightened” friend, ignore The Truth, about the end,
Enlightened in a new spiritual dawn, through that Spirit of Babylon,
Souls deceived and being misled, by men who are spiritually dead,
Leading many souls down a path, to see not life, but, God’s Wrath.
Christ had told those who believe, that many shall come to deceive,
By deceptive ways they shall claim, to speak the Truth in His Name,
Truly sent from the father of lies, they profess to be spiritually wise,
Guided not by Christ Jesus at all, they guide souls to spiritually fall.
They pervert, The Gospel of Christ, Who, paid for all, The Full Price,
Behind their experience and works, a dark and deceptive spirit lurks,
Complicating God’s Salvation Plan, to mislead, every wayward man,
Is Satan’s desire to simply deceive, all seeking souls, as he did Eve.

The Foggy, Foggy Blue
When I was a young man, I loved to write poems
And I called a spade a spade
And the only only thing that made me sing
Was to lift the masks at the masquerade.
I took them off my own face,
I took them off others too
And the only only wrong in all my song
Was the view that I knew what was true.
Now I am older and tireder too
And the tasks with the masks are quite trying.
I’d gladly gladly stop if I only only knew
A better way to keep from lying,
And not get nervous and blue
When I said something quite untrue:
I looked all around and all over
To find something else to do:
I tried to be less romantic
I tried to be less starry-eyed too:
But I only got mixed up and frantic
Forgetting what was false and what was true.
But tonight I am going to the masked ball,
Because it has occurred to me
That the masks are more true than the faces:
—Perhaps this too is poetry?
I no longer yearn to be naïve and stern
And masked balls fascinate me:
Now that I know that most falsehoods are true
Perhaps I can join the charade?
This is, at any rate, my new and true view:
Let live and believe, I say.
The only only thing is to believe in everything:
It’s more fun and safer that way!

His True Church
I know many religious people, and one Church with no steeple,
A church that’s built with no walls, built on only believing souls,
Built upon an Eternal Foundation, that being our very Salvation,
Built upon The One Cornerstone, and that is Jesus Christ alone.
Many, who worship in a building, to Truth alone, are unyielding,
Building a church on tradition, God’s Truth, with man’s addition,
Added to the work finished by, Jesus Christ who reigns on high,
Ignoring His words “it is finished”, Grace by many is diminished.
Men making a way to Heaven, not by grace but religious leaven,
Building church in a human way, as they lead many souls astray,
As many souls weekly perch, in the pews of a manmade church,
Relying on their religious activity, to help them work into eternity.
“I will build my Church” He said, that was Christ, who is the Head,
Head of His True Church on earth, filled with souls, by New Birth,
All members being Born Again, into His Church, not one of men,
You’ll find, you no longer search, as a member of God’s Church.
Jesus is the Way, Truth and Life, as Head of the Church of Christ,
And each of us is a living stone, built through faith in Christ alone,
His Church He proceeds to build, to complete as His Father willed,
Leading the only True Church friend, as others shall see in the end.
Hypocrisy
Hypocrisy
I wanted to sit and write today-but I did not know what to say.
Then a thought came to me. Why don’t I write about hypocrisy?
The hypocrisy of man leaves you to wonder.
Will this country make another blunder?
Will we continue in this Arab war where we are despised/
Will we choose to live a lie?
They say Americans shed their blood for you and me.
We all know its hypocrisy.
Men in uniform no longer fight the world wars.
People who want to hide what they are Moreover, what they say and do is because of me and you. Our service members and women still use our uniforms with pride
It is something that we can’t deny.
I could see it in my mind-the older politician telling the younger one.
“Let the road take its course” we are the trainers and they are the horse.
They will go where we lead them-that is why we are leaders.
The politicians of all nations should hide their heads in shame.
They search for all that they can gain.
They all try to line their pockets
They’ll pull your eyeballs from their sockets.
Then you cannot see all their hidden hypocrisies.
People will believe for a short period
While it weighs on their mind.
They have to tell the politicians that they will not follow
Like sheep to a slaughter so they could make a quarter.
We must tell them that we are tired as can be-living in hypocrisy.

A Child's View Of God (A Pure And Simple Faith)
There is nothing so innocent as a child
With eyes closed and head bowed in prayer
With a pure and simple faith
He gives thanks to the God who created him
Not asking complicated questions
But seeing God in the wonders that abound each day
Knowing Jesus loves him
And that's enough for now
We all need to be like children
In our hearts
Finding Joy and wonder
In the flowers and the sun of God's creation
Trusting and believing in Jesus
With a pure and simple faith
Jesus came as a child
With all His innocence and wonder of life
As He grew He still had
The innocence and wonder of God's creation
He loved us and died for us
So that we could believe in Him
With a pure and simple faith
Thy Faithfulness, Lord
Thy faithfulness, Lord, Each moment we find,
So true to thy word, So loving and kind!
Thy mercy so tender To all the lost race,
The vilest offender May turn and find grace.
The mercy I feel To others I show,
I set to my seal That Jesus is true:
Ye all may find favour Who come at his call,
O come to my Saviour, His grace is for all!
To save what was lost, from heaven he came;
Come, sinners, and trust In Jesus's name.
He offers you pardon; He bids you be free;
'If sin be your burden, O come unto me!'
O let me commend My Saviour to you,
The publican's friend And Advocate too,
For you he is pleading His merits and death,
With God interceding for sinners beneath.
Then let us submit His grace to receive,
Fall down at his feet And gladly believe:
We all are forgiven For Jesus's sake:
Our title to heaven His merits we take.

Twisted Masks
Sick in the head
Sick in the mind they'll call me
The hypocrites who lie about their masks
they see not because they look not
who i am is who i choose to be
masks filled my face from inch to inch
tell me who i am you sick twisted soul
thinking you know my heart like its gold
twisted time engraves upon ones heart
like sadness on the face of a clown
does my face shine that masks so
but who am i to twist the facts of life?

Fed up with the attitude of a system of indifference
People are fed up with the attitude of a system of indifference that uses them as objects to be manipulated to maintain a statusquo that intimidates and coerces people to serve its one-sided ends. People went along with it to maintain their life, their relationships, their families, in short, to adopt, they knew that it was unjust as well as out of touch, but it was sold as the best of all inperfect systems. But now the huberous of those entrusted to control the system is too much too bare and the citizens humanity is not being fulfill, and their human dignity is viewed as a histrionic element. So now we see our financial and political leaders in the light of their own greed that has broken the system, as the spoiled narcissist of the wealthy, and cunning who put their own life stile above the country and people that made their position possible. People want their humanity and dignity back as well as their life and are now willing to expose the hypocrisy of the con-artist.

The Prisoner
Convicted I am now of an offense called 'Love'
The prison I am in is but a broken heart
The penance I must serve is to forever weep
With the aid of this poem, I am trying to escape
I clearly remember the offense that I had
I attempted to steal another woman's love
A love not half as much as that for you I feel
A love I never thought, would end my every dream
To reenter your heart, truly I did repent
With the hope that once more, your love I will regain
Sorrow was unto me, when I knew in the end
That the door of your heart for me is tightly sealed
And instead here's what happened you have imposed on me
A penalty much more than death, I've to serve painfully
The plaintiff were your lips, the jury is your mind
And your heart is the judge who tries me and decides
I'm appealing to you now in the court of love
The offense I admit, a plea of guilt I lodge
The decision I beg is a sentence of life
And that my prison be none but your loving heart

The Two Debtors
Once a woman silent stood
While Jesus sat at meat;
From her eyes she poured a flood
To wash his sacred feet
Shame and wonder, joy and love;
All at once possessed her mind:
That she e'er so vile could prove,
Yet now forgiveness find.
How came this vile woman here,
Will Jesus notice such?
Sure, if he a prophet were,
He would disdain her touch!
Simon thus, with scornful heart,
Slighted one whom Jesus loved;
But her Saviour took her part,
And thus his pride reproved.
If two men in debt were bound,
One less, the other more;
Fifty, or five hundred pound,
And both alike were poor;
Should the lender both forgive,
When he saw them both distressed;
Which of them would you believe
Engaged to love him best?
Surely he who most did owe,
The Pharisee replied;
Then our Lord, by judging so,
Thou dost for her decide:
Simon if like her you knew
How much you forgiveness need;
You like her had acted too,
And welcomed me indeed!
When the load of sin is felt,
And much forgiveness known;
Then the heart of course will melt,
Though hard before as stone:
Blame not then her love and tears,
Greatly she in debt has been;
But I have removed her fears,
And pardoned all her sin.
When I read this woman's case,
Her love and humble zeal;
I confess, with shame of face,
My heart is made of steel,
Much has been forgiv'n to me,
Jesus paid my heavy score;
What a creature must I be
That I can love no more!

It is a land full of idiots!

Striving For What?
Rivers of people come and go, on roads of life they’ve come to know,
Fully involved in a daily routine, across our land, is a common scene.
Striving daily to make ends meet, in a world that is filled with deceit.
What seems to govern this life, much corruption behind all the strife.
Everything seems to be sold at a price, as was our Lord Jesus Christ.
Do you know a Judas my friend, oblivious to The Lord and the end?
Willing to sell God for some change, in a life that is quite deranged.
It could be one close to your side, with a lingering darkness to hide.
Evil men wax worse and worse, influenced by sin’s dreaded curse,
As seducers continue to deceive, and attack those who truly believe.
All their deceptive practice and ways, bring many trouble filled days.
And all of their deceit in the end, brings undue trial to innocent men.
As soon a quiet everyday life, becomes filled with troublesome strife.
And your peaceful daily routine, becomes a hectic unwanted scene.
The fruit of deceptive schemes, has been the end of many a dreams.
But soon all these men of deceit, will be brought down in total defeat.
But you can transform this life, by walking with the man Jesus Christ.
Christ will give you a new mind, one that will go on through all time.
Accept in your heart Jesus Christ, and Jesus will give you New Life,
Friend, a life of Joy, you will see, as your hope moves on to Eternity.
Present grief will be in the past, as Christ gives you life that will last,
As we leave earth’s river of strife, we’ll see the Eternal River of Life.
No longer a routine of despair, for soon we will be caught in the air,
Where we will meet with The Lord, and live with Christ forevermore.
Love Of Family And Country
Those who flaunt their social status...
With a pretentious pride,
Of being amongst the elite...
Are so far removed from truth.
Even seen caught in the act of treason...
Gives them an additional reason,
To apologize for being unwise...
For deciding a particular time of day,
Was not the best moment to feed a greed.
With an explanation that a love of family and country,
Led them to their current circumstance and corrupted ways.
And a forgiveness for their misdeeds is what is wished.
And...
Their pleas are accepted!
Books are published.
Movie deals are made.
And a fresh wave,
Of corrupted ideals are encouraged to flourish.
As an inappropriate use of language,
That offends those lusting their uppercrust positions...
Is censored.
Thus eliminating the abuse 'perceived'...
By those chosing a politically correct point of view,
To keep hidden their own ignorant incompetence.

There's hope for hypocrites...
Yes, there’s hope for hypocrites –
hypocrite poets, who write
from the goodness of their hearts
of the good, the true, the beautiful;
out of the chaos of the well-intentioned
and sometime messy life;
hypocrite readers, who turn
to those same poets for reminders of
the good, the true, the beautiful
out of the chaos of the well-intentioned
and sometimes messy life;
(hypocrite editors, dare we add, who,
knowing the good, the true, the beautiful,
turn down our poems, because
it’s been said oft and better, long before…)
the blessing for all hypocrites
is that they know better; and one day…
may match their actions to their words;
words, well-intentioned, sometimes messy,
written from the goodness of their heart;
and in the heart, as given timeless time,
hypocrisy dissolves…
